I once heard the late, great Jack Hayford state, “The quest of Jesus Christ on the earth is greatly crippled by wrong notions of the sovereignty of God.” That is a very sobering statement. Debates regarding the sovereignty of God have raged for centuries. The answer to whether or not He is sovereign is an emphatic “Yes!” But does this mean He operates independently of us humans, always accomplishing His will, regardless of our actions? “NO!” As incredible as it may be, a sovereign God made a sovereign choice to limit Himself in many ways and situations to the actions, decisions, and requests of human beings. His plan has always been to work on earth with and through us, His family and friends, not independently of us. Consider the following examples that clearly point out the need for prayer and obedience in order for humans to experience God’s will: Healing of a nation: “If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14). Receiving covenantal blessings: “Now it shall be, if you will diligently obey the Lord your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth” (Deuteronomy 28:1; verse 2 and the following verses list several more conditional blessings). Experiencing a long life: “Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, that your days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with you in the land which the Lord your God gives you” (Deuteronomy 5:16). Protection from harm: “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty” (Psalm 91:1). Forgiveness of sin: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). The release of God’s will on the earth: “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). John Wesley so believed God’s plan was to work on earth through people that he contended, “God does nothing on the earth save in answer to believing prayer.” E. M. Bounds, one whose teachings on prayer have impacted millions, was just as bold: “God shapes the world by prayer. The more praying there is in the world, the better the world will be, the mightier the forces against evil.... The prayers of God’s saints are the capital stock of heaven by which God carries on His great work upon earth. God conditions the very life and prosperity of His cause on prayer.”(1) Dr. Ben Carson understood this partnership. Back in 1987, he realized that a successful operation to separate conjoined twins depended not just on his surgical skills, but also on God working through him and his team. “After nineteen hours of surgery, Dr. Carson and his medical team collapsed, exhausted, into conference room chairs. In the middle of separating the two Zambian twins who were born joined at the head, they considered stopping the operation. But as dangerous as it looked to proceed, it would, in effect, be a death sentence if they stopped. “As they walked back to the operating room, Dr. Carson prayed that God would take over the operation. As he resumed the delicate surgery in the South African hospital, struggling with just a scalpel instead of the microinstruments he used at home, he sensed a remarkable steadiness in his hands. It was as though he were simply watching his hands move, while someone else had actually taken over the surgery. While he had often sensed prayer support during other surgeries, he had never experienced anything like what happened during this intricate operation. At the very moment that the last vein connecting the boys was separated, after twenty-eight hours of surgery, the stereo system began playing “Hallelujah Chorus,” from Handel’s Messiah. Everyone in the OR knew something remarkable had taken place.”(2) Dr. Carson recognized his inability to complete this operation on his own. What an amazing example of God and humans working together through both prayer and action. Our late friend Quin Sherrer shared the miraculous story of what happened when a mother realized she needed to involve God through her prayers: “God cares about even the small details of our lives. Eleanor was a Christian who knew God cared, but she had a child with a very special need. Would God really intervene? After hearing me speak about prayer at a meeting in Alabama, Eleanor realized three things: she hadn’t been giving God quality time; she hadn’t been praying with definite requests; and she had never really let God speak to her through His Word. “She left that meeting with a burning desire to pray, and with a definite plan for how to do it. “The problem: Eugene, her thirteen-year-old adopted son, had not grown even an eighth of an inch in a year. Her doctor told her to take him to a specialist who would prescribe growth hormones. “The plan: Eleanor’s habit for years had been to rise at 4:30 a.m. and run for several miles. Then she usually came home, flopped down to rest, and said about ten minutes’ worth of general ‘God-bless-us’ prayers. “‘I realized the time I spent with the Lord was like ‘snack time,’ when ‘banquet time’ was what I really needed,’ she said. ‘I decided to start praying first; then if I had any time left, I’d run.’ “During one of her first mornings of spending quality time with God, He showed her a specific Scripture verse she could pray for her son. She paraphrased it: ‘Lord, may my son, like Jesus, increase in wisdom and stature and favor with God and man’ (see Luke 2:52 KJV). “She never got around to taking Eugene for the hormone shots. He began to grow. In the first three months after she started praying this way, he grew three inches! In the next three months, he grew three more. Some people may argue that it was his natural growth spurt year, but Eleanor knows God honored her prayer. She saw other evidence confirming this. Her son’s conduct grade on his report card went from a C- to an A. ‘Mom, my teacher likes me now, and I like her,’ he commented when she quizzed him about it. “‘Eugene increased not only in stature and favor with his teacher, but in wisdom, too, as his other grades also have improved,’ Eleanor told me when I saw her months later.”(3) I end today’s post the way I began it, with a powerful quote from Jack Hayford: “Prayer is essentially a partnership of the redeemed child of God, working hand in hand with God, toward the realization of his redemptive purposes on earth.”(4) Let’s partner with our great God now. Pray with me: Father, we are always humbled to think You made us co-laborers and partners with You. Most believers do not fully grasp this incredible truth. We ask for revelation of this profound plan to permeate the Church. Do for us today as Paul prayed for the Ephesians: enlighten our understanding (Ephesians 1:18). Bring revelation of the fact that we are “workers together with” You (2 Corinthians 6:1). We work together with You in prayer today to see more and more justice come in the arena of America’s government. Continue to expose the corruption and weaponization of our government over the past 10 years. Expose the relentless, corrupt attacks against President Trump and others who worked alongside him. Restore integrity to our government. We also partner with You to see renewal brought to the church. We ask You to do a quick work, through the coming revival, of restoring passion, zeal for truth, and love for Your Word. Awaken us, fill us afresh and new with Your Spirit, return us to first love. We agree in prayer with our brothers and sisters. Please heal those who so desperately need Your healing power. Save family members and restore prodigals. Heal relationships and emotional wounds. And we pray also today for our brothers and sisters suffering persecution around the world. Many have recently paid the ultimate price for their faith. We honor them for their steadfast loyalty to You, and their commitment inspires us. We pray for those still suffering – give them grace and comfort. And deliver them from evil men. All of these things we pray in the name of Yeshua.   2. https://www.givehim15.com/post/july-22-2025 July 22, 2025 Dreaming Big Dreams This past weekend, the golfing world watched phenom Scottie Scheffler rack up another major victory at The Open Championship in Northern Ireland. For those who do not follow golf, there are dozens of professional golf tournaments held every year, but four of them are considered the major tournaments: The Masters, The U.S. Open, The Open Championship, and The PGA Championship. Twenty-nine-year-old Scheffler has won major tournaments 4 times, including twice at The Masters; most professional golfers never win even one. He is now just a U.S. Open victory away from becoming the seventh golfer ever to complete the career grand slam. He joins Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, and Gary Player as the only golfers to win the Open, Masters, and PGA Championship before age 30. The great golfer, Rory McIlroy, said of Scheffler after his victory at The Open this weekend: “He is the bar that we’re all trying to get to. In a historical context, you could argue that there’s only maybe two or three players in the history of the game that have been on a run [like] the one that Scottie’s been on here for the last 24 to 36 months. Incredibly impressive.”(1) Scheffler is popular with fans, not just because of his incredible skill, but also because of his humility and perspective. God and family come first, then golf, which he adamantly states does not define him as a person, even though he has always wanted to be a professional golfer. Regarding this dream, he states that even as a young boy, he dressed like the pros, who are not allowed to wear shorts in professional tournaments. In an interview, Scottie said, “…growing up, when we moved to Texas, I always wore pants when I used to go practice because I wanted to play professionally. It would be like 100 degrees outside. They’d all be making fun of me, but I always used to wear pants. So as long as I can remember, this is what I wanted to do.”(2) The power of a dream! As I watched Scheffler win The Open, his statement regarding dreaming and dressing like the pros reminded me of a story I relate in my book, Dream: “When Steve Cauthen was nine, his job was helping his father on the farm. In between pitching hay, he liked jumping on the packed bales, pretending he was on a racehorse. Once when his father said, ‘Stop daydreaming, boy, and put the bale in the truck,’ Steve answered, ‘I will as soon as I win the Belmont Stakes.’ “And sure enough, the young man who began his career by riding a bale of hay went on to win the Triple Crown – at age eighteen! His dream, as a nine-year-old, propelled Steve Cauthen to become one of the most successful jockeys in the world.”(3) Incredible. The Bible has a lot to say about dreaming. One of the interesting and enlightening insights it provides us is that dreaming and creating both spring from the same Biblical Hebrew word. Yatsar means “to create”; yetser, a slightly different form of the word, means “imagination, conception, and thought.”(4) Yetser refers to the plans and purposes formed in the mind, which, of course, include dreaming; yatsar is the resulting act of creation. So the power to create begins with the ability to dream. Another way to say it would be that dreaming unlocks our power to create or accomplish. Not surprisingly, this is how God functions. Isaiah 46:10 states that He declares the end from the beginning. In other words, He sees or imagines the end result (yetser), backs up to form the plan or design, then begins creating (yatsar). He dreams, then He creates. Likewise, when God fashioned us humans in His image and likeness (Genesis 1:26-28), He placed within us a level of His ability to imagine and create. We have the God-given ability to conceive something in our minds, which then awakens the creativity and innovation He has placed within us. Like Him, we dream; then we create the dream, bringing it to life. If we don’t dream, we won’t create. Period. But if we do dream, we MUST create. Necessity isn’t the mother of invention; dreams are! Consider these cases in point. We have airplanes because a couple of brothers dreamed of conquering gravity and flying. Eventually, we went to the moon because someone dared to dream we could conquer space. We have lightbulbs because a man dreamed of light without a fire. People continued to dream, and now we have lasers. Telephones were invented because a dreaming mind conceived the outlandish concept of talking through wires. But dreaming begets dreaming, so someone imagined telephones without the wires, and cell phones were born. Crazy! Cars exist because someone dared to dream of a horseless carriage. Henry Ford dreamed of mass-producing these man-made beasts. Another dreamer dreamed of making money by paving roads for those amazing new machines, and, eventually, someone dared to dream of a network of roads all across America without one single stoplight or stop sign. Think about it: Through the innovative minds of a few inspired dreamers, traveling went from horse-drawn, covered wagons on rutted, unmapped trails to air-conditioned automobiles on interstate highways – using a GPS, by the way! Some nerd dreamed of the computer. Someone “nerdier” dreamed they could be portable, not bad since initially, one computer filled up an entire room. Then came the Internet…wireless…Facebook…X…Instagram…Google. And the multizillionaire nerds are still laughing. And tweeting. (Someone even had to dream of new words for all these crazy ideas.) Someone dreamed of a television, and – it was inevitable – some guy dreamed of changing the channel without getting out of the recliner. Yep, along came the remote. All of these once-unbelievable concepts began with a dream. Dreaming, then, unlocked creativity. And by the way, dreams don’t have to be big to be substantial in their impact. Consider these “insignificant” dreams: Someone got tired of their papers being displaced and dreamed of a paper clip. (They also made sure they were small enough to lose easily, so we would have to buy trillions of them.) Annoyance over trapped food inspired the toothpick dream. A would-be writer grew tired of drawing in the dirt and dreamed of a pencil. A guy with sore feet from going barefoot dreamed of sandals. A woman dreamed of making them stylish. Someone else dreamed of making them comfortable and voilà – flip-flops were born! No doubt about it! Dreaming unlocks creativity. God has dreamed and planned a Third Great Awakening in America. It has been almost 200 years since the Second Great Awakening – we’re overdue. I tapped into His heart 40 years ago and have been dreaming with Him ever since. This awakening has begun. And, of course, it will not be limited to America. As Robin Mark says in his classic song, “Revival,” “Sure as gold is precious and the honey sweet,”(5) God is bringing this great outpouring of Holy Spirit to the earth. Thank you, Scottie Scheffler, for reminding me of the power of dreams. Pray with me: Father, You dreamed of family. We are overwhelmed to be part of the answer to this dream. As such, You made us like You – in Your image and likeness – giving us the incredible ability to dream and create. I pray for everyone who reads or listens to this, that they will tap into this ability and become the complete expression of what You intended for them. For anyone who has stopped dreaming due to hope deferred, heal their heart and restore their dreaming nature. Help each of us to make certain that our dreaming involves You and the purpose for which You created us. Let this define us. We know that life’s ultimate fulfillment is found in accomplishing the purpose for which You made us. Give us hearts to dream dreams of eternal significance, not wasting our dreaming nature on temporal things alone. May we all be Kingdom dreamers! Remind us that our prayers for revival are not selfish; they are based on Your dream. You have family members who have not yet been born again. Our prayers birth Your dreams; keep us reminded of this. We ask You today for laborers to enter the harvest fields, just as Christ instructed us (Matthew 9:38). We ask for spiritual rain (Zechariah 10:1); let it be a mighty deluge. All of this we pray in Yeshua‘s name.   3. https://www.givehim15.com/post/july-21-2025 July 21, 2025 When God Interrupted Me The Hebrew word for intercession, paga, is fascinating. Although in our thinking, “intercession” is typically associated with prayer, this Hebrew word does not necessarily refer to prayer. It has several nuances of meaning, all of which can be done through prayer. The basic concept of paga is “to meet.” The meeting can be between people, animals, or even inanimate objects, as in two people’s lands “meeting” forming a boundary. A meeting or encounter can be good or bad, pleasant or unpleasant, intentional or accidental. Any type of meeting is paga. Lightning striking or “meeting” the earth is paga. “Meeting” with God in prayer is paga. Two or more individuals “meeting” to discuss the future, plan an event, or for any other reason is paga. A weapon “meeting” an enemy is paga, therefore is used for attacking, striking, or even impaling with a sword. A bull’s-eye when shooting a gun is paga – bullet “meets” target. Carrying a load for another – their burden “meeting” your strength – is paga. So, why would this word be used for “intercession”? Because intercessory prayer accomplishes all of these things. It creates meetings between God and man. It forms boundaries of protection around people and places. It releases God’s light, lightning, and glory into the earth. It wars against our spiritual enemy. It carries burdens for others, and so much more. When you began your prayer with, “Father, I meet with you today to…” you were using the literal meaning of paga. When you said, “Father, please meet with so-and-so,” you were literally asking for paga. When you said you attended a “prayer meeting,” you were much more accurate than you knew – Prayer Meetings are aptly named! Jesus said our prayers can connect heaven and earth – paga (Matthew 6:10). God wants to meet with people through our intercession. We can “carry” cities, nations, and government leaders to Him through intercession. God reconciles people to Himself through us. Second Corinthians 5:18-19 states that He “has reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ.” But the verses do not stop there. They go on to say He has now “given to us the ministry of reconciliation.” God meets with people through us! Our part in this ministry of reconciliation takes place in various ways: through sharing the gospel with people, by helping to send and support others who spread the gospel, and certainly through intercessory prayer. Webster even uses “reconcile” in its definition of intercession: “to act between parties with a view to reconciling those who differ.”(1) In intercessory prayer, we place ourselves “between” God and an individual, becoming the reconciling link. When, for any reason, we meet with God on behalf of another, becoming the connecting link between them, intercession has occurred. Susan Morin was an intercessor, a link between God and people, a reconciler. She connected heaven and earth, impacting destinies: “Wanting to do something for God, Susan committed to pray during her forty-five-minute daily commute and asked God for whom she should pray. A note at work caught her attention. ‘I’m sorry this payment is late. I have been seriously ill. Thank you, Beverly.’ Susan knew she was to pray for her, but not knowing any details, it was difficult. As she faithfully interceded, however, God’s great love for Beverly was imparted to her. Susan sent her cards, explaining how God loved her and had led Susan to pray. No responses came, but Susan continued praying. “Nine months later, Beverly’s husband called. Having found Susan’s well-worn cards, which evidently meant a lot to his wife, he wanted to share what had happened. Although diagnosed with lung cancer, Beverly had never experienced any pain. Church had never had any real part in their lives, but two weeks before she died, Beverly had asked to be baptized. The night before she died, she told him it was OK; she was going home to be with her Lord. “Susan was overwhelmed that God had used her to reveal His love to Beverly, allowing Him to meet with her and reconcile her to Himself.”(2) PAGA!! I have witnessed miracles of healing as God met with people. In 1980, I was on another of my many journeys into Guatemala. On one occasion, Ceci, another couple, and I were ministering to an elderly lady who had recently come to Christ. We had gone to her home to encourage her and have a short Bible study. Approximately six months earlier, this lady had fallen from a step-stool and severely broken her ankle. As is often the case with the elderly, the fractures were not healing well. Her ankle was still badly swollen, and she was in much pain. While visiting with her, we sensed that God wanted to heal her ankle, right then. After sharing this and asking for permission, we instructed her to place her leg on an ottoman. Then, we began to pray, sort of. Has God ever interrupted you? He did so to us on this occasion. When I stepped between her and God to ask for a meeting, the presence of God filled the room so powerfully that I stopped in mid-stride and mid-sentence. I had taken only one step toward her and uttered only one word: “Father.” That’s all He needed! It’s as though God was so eager to touch this dear lady that He refused to wait any longer. What I’m about to relate may sound overly dramatic, but it’s exactly what took place. The presence of the Holy Spirit filled the room so strongly that I froze in my tracks, stopped speaking, and began to weep. Ceci and the other couple also began to weep. The lady we were ministering to began to weep. Then her foot began to bounce up and down on the stool for several minutes as she had a powerful encounter with the Holy Spirit — a meeting! The Lord healed her and filled her with His Spirit. He wants to meet with others through your prayers. Don’t be intimidated – Jesus has qualified you to represent Him. Don’t let past failures deter you. Be like the small boy playing in the backyard with his bat and ball: “‘I’m the greatest baseball player in the world,’ he said proudly. Then he tossed the ball in the air, swung and missed. Undaunted, he picked up the ball, threw it into the air and said, ‘I’m the greatest player ever!’ He swung at the ball again, and again he missed. He paused a moment to examine bat and ball carefully. Then once again he threw the ball into the air and said, ‘I’m the greatest baseball player who ever lived.’ He swung the bat hard and again missed the ball. “‘Wow!’ he exclaimed. ‘What a pitcher!’”(3) Keep the faith! Pray with me: Father, we meet with You today, asking You to meet with others through our prayers. Meet with prodigals and unbelievers, drawing them to You. Save and restore. Meet with those who need deliverance from strongholds – set them free. And meet with those who need to be healed, both physically and emotionally. Connect with people through our prayers, bringing heaven to earth. Release the power of Holy Spirit to break through barriers, heal wounds, open spiritually blind eyes, and reconcile people to Yourself. We ask that You do this in schools, on campuses, in offices, government buildings, homes, and backyards. Replace deception with truth, confusion with soundness of mind, and rebellion with obedience. Heal relationships, painful memories, and broken hearts. Meet with government leaders today. Impart wisdom, understanding, ideas, and strategies. Meet with pastors and spiritual leaders, imparting wisdom and revelation to them. Restore to them passion, fire, and first love, where needed. Meet with Kingdom-minded business leaders, providing them with insight, creativity, timing, quality employees, and great prosperity. Kingdom of Christ come! Will of God be done! On earth as it is in heaven.   4. https://www.givehim15.com/post/july-18-2025 July 18, 2025 God’s “Kiss” for Suffering Humanity I lived in Colorado Springs at the base of Pikes Peak for 25 years. This majestic mountain towers 14,114 feet and is one of the nation’s great tourist attractions. It was at the top of this grand mountain peak that Katharine Lee Bates received her inspiration to write the song “America the Beautiful.” Thousands of people drive to the pinnacle of this mountain every year to enjoy its panoramic views. Other people – of dubious wisdom, in my opinion – actually climb it. You don’t have to do so with ropes, spikes, and such; there is a steep trail several miles long that winds its way to the top. I’m told it takes about eight hours to make the trek, and eight weeks to recover from the pain! One day, I found myself thinking that I might try this, but I quickly recovered from this momentary imbalance and promised my spasming body that I would never again think such an insane thought. A friend of mine once climbed it with his two kids and several other young children. I don’t know what possessed him to do this, but we did recommend several weeks of psychiatric care for him. We also agreed not to tell the local social services that he led his children on this journey. Surprisingly, his kids still love him and want to remain in his care. He told me that it took ten and a half hours instead of the typical eight, because the kids had to stop frequently. He ended up carrying their burdens – the packs, water bottles, lunches – most of the way. Serves him right! They should have made him carry them, as well. They all bragged about it later; I think it was due to a lack of oxygen. Mount Calvary Christ climbed a mountain while on earth. He loaded our “burdens” on His back – sin, sickness, suffering, despair, rejection – tied them to a cross and carried them to the top. The mountain was Calvary. Several times, He staggered under the weight of our burdens, but love drove Him all the way to the top. Isaiah said our sins and other weaknesses were “laid upon” Him (see Isaiah 53:6 KJV), and He carried them away. The words “laid upon” are translated from the Hebrew word paga, which is also the Old Testament word for intercession. Fascinating. One of the meanings of intercession is to have someone else’s burden “laid upon” us; “taking the place of another.” Jesus “took our place” at Calvary, and our sins were “laid upon” (paga) Him.(1) What a beautiful aspect of intercessory prayer. Acting on behalf of others, we make requests for them, partaking of Christ’s priestly ministry of intercession. Spiritually, the conditions and burdens of others are “laid upon” us, and we “bear” their weaknesses. We don’t do so in the sense that Christ did, of course, as the Redeemer. But we represent and release what He did, bearing the burdens of others through prayer. Consider the following verses: “Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength and not just please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to his edification.” (Romans 15:1-2) “Bear one another’s burdens, and thus fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2) “And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.” (1 Corinthians 12:26) Jesus was often moved with compassion (see Matthew 9:36-38; 14:14; 15:32; and others) and has “poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit” this same love (Romans 5:5). We are to be agents of love, filled with the compassion of Christ, living not just for ourselves, but accepting the privilege of extending His love on the earth. To do this effectively, we must allow Him to love through us, motivating us with His compassion. The great teacher on prayer, **** Eastman, expresses this beautifully as he defines compassion in his book, Love on Its Knees. “Compassion is derived from the two Latin words com and pati, com meaning ‘with’ or ‘together’ and pati meaning ‘to suffer’ or ‘to hurt.’ Combined, these expressions describe one who ‘suffers with’ someone in need or ‘hurts together’ with those experiencing pain. “Compassion is more than mere pity. It is love in its dynamic phase, love released through action. It is a life of involvement in the struggles of others.”(2) Epaphras experienced this true compassion for the believers in Colossae, who were being led into deception: “Epaphras, who is one of your number, a bondslave of Jesus Christ, sends you his greetings, always laboring earnestly for you in his prayers, that you may stand perfect and fully assured in all the will of God. For I bear him witness that he has a deep concern for you” (Colossians 4:12-13, emphasis added). This verse tells us our prayers can produce growth and maturity in others! The following story is told of Francis of Assisi and how an impartation of Christ’s love drastically altered his life: “Born into a wealthy Italian family, Francesco de Pietro Berardone seemed headed for a life of abundance. However, all that changed one afternoon in a transforming moment while he rode his pony around the city. Turning a corner, the pony abruptly halted, and Francesco was shocked by the sight in front of him. A leper, with his body partially eaten away by the disease, stood in the path. Sickened by the man’s appearance, Francesco turned away and was about to return home. “But the Spirit of God suddenly opened Francesco’s eyes to eternal realities, and, as he looked again at the leper, he recognized his own spiritually depraved condition as being worse than the dying man’s leprosy. He leapt from his pony, embraced the leper, and gently kissed the suffering man as he gave him his bag of gold. Francesco had been baptized with the compassion of Christ, and his life would never be the same. He surrendered to his Savior outside the city of Assisi, and continued his life of compassion, becoming one of history’s most remarkable spiritual warriors.”(3) Francis of Assisi was a mere human, like you and me, but he allowed the great Lover of the universe to penetrate his human soul. He was introduced to the power of intercession as the burden of this pitiful leper was “laid upon” him. Millions of spiritual lepers are waiting for someone to touch them with God’s love. We must leap from our comfortable “ponies” and fall to our knees, allowing the compassion of Christ to become ours. He wants to kiss suffering humanity with His healing lips, doing so through our lives. Pray with me: Father, we want to be touched by Your heart. Enable us to receive Your love for our brothers and sisters who are struggling. Your word tells us, “If one member suffers, all the members suffer with it” (1 Corinthians 12:26). Raise up a company of intercessors who are willing to have the burdens of others “laid upon” them, that they might intercede from Your heart of compassion. And allow us to feel Your heart for unbelievers, who so desperately need You. Raise up intercessors in this hour, who will birth through their “labor” the millions of souls You intend to save. Give us the heart of the great Shepherd who left the 99 and went looking for the one. Bring revelation to the church that we can truly release the power of Christ’s salvation through our intercession. And while it may not be the subject of this teaching, we remember to pray for our government, as your Word instructs us. Give wisdom to the president and his team, our legislators, and our judges/justices. Remove those in our government who oppose and dishonor You, and anoint those with hearts to follow You. Send revival and reformation to America and throughout the earth. In Christ’s name we pray.   5. https://www.givehim15.com/post/july-17-2025 July 17, 2025 The Wrong Schematic “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Romans 12:1-2) Recently, when I was a guest on Flashpoint with my friend, Gene Bailey, the subject of same-sex marriage was brought up. It was mentioned that a significant number of Christians now believe that homosexuality and same-sex marriage are acceptable in the eyes of the Lord. None of us participating on the show agreed with this belief. We love those in the *** community, but we cannot compromise what the Scriptures teach: God created humans as male and female, and marriage is intended to be between one man and one woman (Genesis 1:26-28; 2:24; Matthew 19:4-5; Romans 1:27; Leviticus 18:22). The drifting of the church away from a biblical worldview, accepting Scripture as the final authority for all of life, has created great harm. The Bible must be our standard for truth, period. It is the benchmark from which all issues and boundaries must be measured. A humanistic standard that says there is no absolute truth, that all truth is relative, leaves us unmoored and guided by our own wishes, lusts, philosophies, moral standards, societal norms, and so on. This is the theme of the book of Judges: “Every man did what was right in his own eyes.” The inevitable result of this philosophy during the period of the judges was chaos, violence, gross immorality, selfishness, and wickedness of every sort. In the body of Christ, it has led to heresy, a lack of power, dim lights, and savorless salt for society and our culture (see Matthew 5:13-16). I made the statement on Tuesday night’s program that revival — millions of people being born again — will help us overcome the deception in our nation much more quickly. It took half a century to reshape Americans’ thinking away from God and biblical principles. It need not take 50 years to transform our nation back to His ways and will. Our opening verses for today’s post are very insightful in this regard. Verse 2 of Romans 12 tells us to be transformed, not conformed. Conformed is from the Greek word suschematizo.(1) You can easily see the word schematic in the second portion of this Greek word, which is a diagram or drawing, blueprints that serve as the plan from which something is built or formed. The word carries the connotation of forming, shaping, molding, or fashioning something according to a particular pattern or design. In biblical times, it was actually used for pressing something in a mold. The prefix of this Greek word, sun (the “n” is dropped in this usage), means “together with.” Putting these definitions back into the verse, the Holy Spirit is saying, “Don’t be changed from without. Do not allow the culture around you to be your schematic. Don’t allow your thinking and beliefs, and therefore your actions, to be designed and shaped together with the world around you.” He then gives us the alternative: “be transformed.” This comes from the fascinating Greek word metamorphoo,(2) from which we get the English words metamorphosis and metamorphose. Think caterpillar and butterfly. And its important to remember that the transformation or metamorphosis that occurs in a caterpillar does not occur from without, but from within. The end result, a butterfly, is already encoded into the caterpillar’s DNA. It simply becomes... what it is! We could never take an earthworm, wrap it into a cocoon, and nurse it into a butterfly. Not in a million years. It simply isn’t in the earthworm’s DNA. But a caterpillar can transform into a butterfly, and a born-again person can transform into the image of Christ. This verse in Romans 12 is telling us not to be shaped from without, but be transformed from within. The Message Translation says, “be changed from the inside out.” J. B. Phillips’ translation says essentially the same: “Let God remold your minds from within.” When we are born again, our spirits are made new (2 Corinthians 5:17), and God writes His laws in our hearts (Hebrews 10:16). Through this “we have the mind of Christ” (1 Corinthians 2:16). As we draw near to the Lord through worship and spending time in His Word, He metamorphoses us — transforms our thinking from the inside out — according to this image of Christ He placed in our spirits when we were born again. Second Corinthians 3:18 says we are transformed, metamorphosed, into His image from glory to glory. The “renewing of the mind” in this passage refers to allowing God to fashion our thinking and actions into what He has already created and written in our hearts or spirits. The nature of Christ is encoded into every believer’s spiritual DNA. Discipling believers and nations, therefore, (Matthew 28:18) does not rely solely on the power of information. Rather, as believers read or are taught the Word of God, this information bears witness to what is already written in their hearts. This is why I state that revival — millions of people being born again — will enable us to change mindsets in our nation much more quickly. The heart or spirit of every true believer knows it is wrong to kill a baby in the womb. The heart of every true believer knows God created humans as male and female, and that marriage between two men or two women is unnatural. The heart of a true believer knows that sex outside of the marriage covenant is sin. Romans 12:2 instructs us to allow this truth in our hearts and in God’s Word to renew our thinking and shape our actions. And finally, I would add that we must not allow ourselves to be intimidated by those who misrepresent our beliefs and actions. It is NOT hateful to agree with God by stating our belief in HIS standards and laws. We CAN love someone who commits sin, even as we disagree with their actions or lifestyle. We CAN love and respect those with unbiblical lifestyles, without accepting their actions as appropriate. Do not allow the world to shape you through their accusations and mislabeling. Never compromise what God teaches in His Word. Never. Pray with me: Father, we, the body of Christ in America, have compromised regarding Your Word and ways. We have allowed those around us to conform us to their beliefs. We are now paying a heavy price for this. We have a disoriented and confused generation. Our kids believe their bodies are a mistake, and professors, legislators, and Supreme Court justices state that they can’t define a man or woman. Children try to change their gender, doing irreparable damage to their bodies. And preachers are afraid to talk about it. Please forgive us. We repent, and ask You to help us reverse the damage. The power of a true revival will change our nation. Send the “greatest of all revivals” You have spoken of. Write Your laws and truth on millions of hearts. Remove deception, erase lies, and restore soundness of mind. We know You will do this in love and through Christ’s redemption, not through condemnation. You said the preaching of the gospel, the good news, releases Your power to save (Romans 1:16). Raise up powerful messengers to proclaim the good news with fire and love. We ask for this in Jesus’ wonderful name. Amen. In the past six months, there have been 79 assaults on ICE agents, an increase of 690%. Numerous individuals on the left are total anarchists, including many of their leaders. Their lust for power has driven them to shocking levels of corruption and depravity. This craving for power influences them more than the 300,000 “misplaced” children, the trafficking of many of those children, hundreds of thousands of fentanyl related deaths, the future fulfillment and procreative ability of thousands of children, the misuse of billions of taxpayer dollars, and so much more. These lawless elements of the Left are liars, thieves, anarchists, racists, God-haters…and they are violent. The anarchists have now targeted ICE agents for harm. These law enforcement officers have been shot, hit with rocks and bricks, assaulted with clubs, shoved, and hit with fists – all for enforcing America’s laws. Shockingly, elected officials on the Left are attempting to aid these anarchists in identifying agents, in order to terrorize and harm – not only them – but their families. We must pray for the protection of these officers. Without supernatural intervention, one or more of them will likely be killed. A Word from a Patriarch Now, for some good news. I have profound respect for Dr. Bill Hamon, founder of Christian International, and without question, the patriarch of the modern-day prophetic movement. Bishop Hamon is 90 years old and has been in ministry for 70 years. There is no one whose prophetic voice I trust more. He recently shared the following: “I want to share with you something God stirred deeply in my spirit during our Day 7 Rally Cry of the Global Prayer Watch. “The Lord spoke to me clearly that we are standing on the edge of the greatest move of God the earth has ever seen. His glory is not coming in a trickle – it’s coming like a flood. The waters are rising, and it’s time for the saints to take their place as warriors and decree with authority. “This is not a season to be silent. We must rise up, join our shields of faith, and release prayers that shake nations. When we pray in the spirit, we enter enemy territory, uncover strategies of darkness, and release Heaven’s counterattack. “We’re not just praying—we’re legislating in the spirit. I may be in my 90s, but I’m still in the fight. And so are you. The enemy has tried to convince many of us that we’ve lost our authority. But I’m here to remind you, Jesus gave us ALL power, and now is the time to use it. “In Him we live and move and have our being (Acts 17:28). In His name, we cast out devils (Mark 16:17). In His name, we bind and loose (Matthew 16:19). In His name, we decree, and it is established. (Job 22:28). “Don’t let how you feel dictate how you war. You may feel weak or tired, but your words still carry the full backing of heaven. Take your stand. Speak with boldness. Intercede with fire. And believe that what we birth in the spirit will manifest in the natural. “The devil is a liar. The watchmen are awakening, and the church is rising in power. The knowledge of the glory of the Lord shall fill the earth as the waters cover the sea (see Habakkuk 2:14). “And we’re going to see it in our day!” ************ There is much to process in this word. I suggest you read it again and truly digest it. Among other things, it states that we’re moving into the church’s greatest hour, and that the earth is about to experience the greatest move of God in history. It encourages us to prepare. We must cast off discouragement, push through tiredness, and remember whose we are. “Speak with boldness,” the prophet said, “intercede with fire, and believe that what we birth in the spirit will manifest in the natural.” Take this to heart from this giant of the faith. Quote of the Day And I leave you with the quote of the day, from then General George Washington, at the disbanding of the army after America’s successful War of Independence: “I now make it my earnest prayer that God... would incline the hearts of the citizens... to entertain a brotherly affection for one another, for their fellow-citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their brethren who have served in the field. And finally that He would most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves, with that charity, humility and pacific temper of mind, which were the characteristics of the Divine Author of our religion, and without an humble imitation of whose example in these things, we can never hope to be a happy nation.”(1) Pray with me: Father, firstly we want to thank You for this encouraging word through Dr. Bill Hamon. We believe it to be true: we are moving into the greatest outpouring of Your Spirit in history. Your glory will cover the earth like the waters cover the sea. May we be found worthy of participating in something so holy. We take heed to His admonition to stir ourselves, as Paul admonished Timothy, remembering who we are in You, and our assignment of working with You. We can – and we will – cast out demons, bind and loose their activities, and make Spirit-led decrees for You. Lord, we know that America will not fully turn around without the revival You spoke of through Bishop Hamon. It will break off deception and depravity, it will restore common sense, and it will tear down walls of hatred. Also, we pray for our ICE agents and all those in law enforcement. We ask You to protect them as they operate in the authority given to them by the laws of our nation. We also ask for protection for their family members and homes. We ask You to expose and oppose the work of anarchists. Bring it to nothing. Dry up their funds, expose their plans, and unravel their networks. Save them, yes, but please also do whatever it takes to stop them. All of this, we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen. Our decree: We declare that we will do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with the Lord, as the Scriptures state and George Washington prayed for us. I want to encourage you today with a few reports from the recent Healing Summit, June 27, in Ohio. Actually, two of the healings didn’t occur there in Ohio but in a church elsewhere that has also been conducting healing services. We have heard many reports/testimonies of healing, ranging from joint pain to cancers to emotional disorders. Some healings were instant, others began that night and continued until completed. Here are three remarkable testimonies: “I am a member of Kingdom Impact Center, Aurora, Illinois under Pastor Pat McManus. [Pat is one of the leaders who works with us in these healing summits.] We have participated with Tim Sheets in the Healing Summits, hosting them by livestream in our sanctuary. We also conduct other Friday night healing prayer meetings, conducted by Pastor Pat. “Recently at one of our Friday night sessions, while meditating and praying for the people I know that need healing, I received a word from ABBA: ‘Why have you become so complacent?’ That is not trivial and stopped me cold. I retreated to the corridor so I could walk, pray, and try to understand the message. “Upon returning to the sanctuary I heard Pat praying for heart conditions. I repented immediately for not seeking healing for a heart condition I’ve had for most of my adult life: Aortic valve issues, atrial premature contractions, intraventricular conduction defect, erratic EKG and hypertension. My heart and my heart valves were not in sync. “I put my hands to my heart saying ‘Father please, please touch my heart. Please fix my heart and make me whole.’ I felt a slight pressure on my chest as if someone touched me ever so softly. Everything stopped - no sound, no motion. I don’t remember breathing. And then everything was normal again, except that I knew without doubt my ABBA Father healed my heart. “On July 2, 2025 they performed a Transthoracic Echocardiogram. I have had more than a handful of these and the results were always the same.” Jim then shared the actual entire test report in its entirety. His heart was now working perfectly, everything was normal. The report ended with the following summary from the nurse: “Hi Jim, “Your echo results were reviewed and the pumping ability of your heart is normal. This test looks at the pumping ability of your heart, the size and function of the valves, and the size of the chambers. No significant abnormalities were noted. If you have any questions, please let us know.” What a great testimony! Pat shared another testimony with me of a lady whose kidneys needed a miracle. She said: “I was a dialysis patient for approximately 3 1/2 years. I have been healed of acute kidney failure.” She then shared the latest test results of her creatinine level, which was in the normal range, and said, “My kidneys are healed and I have been officially discharged from dialysis.” This is wonderful! Still another lady, whom we’ll call Sarah, shared her testimony at this most recent Healing Summit, but the healing did not occur then. She had attended the previous summit, April 4, to receive prayer for a very rare condition. I do not recall the technical language or name of the condition, but somehow her own body was attacking her lungs. Because of this, it was very difficult for Sarah to breathe. She actually had to download an app on her phone to monitor her oxygen level, and supplement her oxygen as needed. She checked it while at the summit and it was in the 70s, which is not good. Sarah was prayed for that Friday night, April 4. She came once again to the Healing Summit a few weeks ago, not to be prayed for again but to share her testimony and show us the graph on her app. The graph, which was dated, showed that from the time she was prayed for in April her oxygen level started rising…and never went back down! At this recent summit, it was at 98%! Sarah said, ‘I can’t tell you the relief of not having to be on oxygen!’ No doubt! Don’t Give Up! I wish I could tell you that everyone we prayed for was healed, but that would not be true. What I can tell you is that many people were healed, both there and around the nation. And I am quite confident that healings will increase in number dramatically over the coming months. We are moving into a new season of the supernatural gifts of Holy Spirit being released. Don’t give up on your healing. Hebrews 10:35-36 reminds us that we don’t always receive answers as quickly as we would like, but encourages us to persevere in our faith. The Passion Translation offers us a beautiful and unusual version of these verses: “So don’t lose your bold, courageous faith, for you are destined for a great reward! You need the strength of endurance to reveal the poetry of God’s will and then you receive the promise in full.” ‭‭ “The poetry of God’s will” - what a unique phrase. The same Greek word that The Passion Translation translates as “poetry,” poieo,(1) is also used in Ephesians 2:10. This verse states that we are God’s “workmanship” (KJV). The Passion Translation once again uses the word “poetry” to translate this word: “we have become His poetry.” I am praying for you as you persevere in believing for “the poetry of God’s will” to manifest in your life. Let’s ask Him now for more miracles. Pray with me: Father, we thank You for these healings and miracles. We also thank You for others who were touched in Ohio and around the nation. However, our hearts go out to those still needing supernatural healing, and we are asking for their breakthrough, as well. Please give us an increase of Your healing power in this season. Heal every manner of disease and affliction, including depression and mental disorders. Deliver people from their pain and suffering. We pray for a release of the gifts of Your spirit: gifts of healing, the working miracles, the gift of faith, and words of knowledge. (1 Corinthians 12) Use these gifts to produce extraordinary miracles that not only bless the recipient but draw attention to Christ and His redemption. We continue to lift up the people in the flood ravaged areas of Texas, New Mexico, North Carolina, and elsewhere. Bring help to the workers as they search for victims, bring comfort to families that have suffered loss, and help communities rebuild. Sustain people as they struggle with their faith in these tragic situations. And we continue to pray for the transforming power of revival to come to our nation and the nations of the world. The rains of revival have begun; now, increase them, we pray. We ask for all of this in the holy name of Jesus. Amen. Texas recently declared a day of prayer regarding the floods that have occurred there. Intercessors For America reports regarding these proclamations: “Both Tennessee and Louisiana have decided to dedicate this month to prayer. Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry announced this for his state at the beginning of July, issuing a proclamation. In this proclamation, he called ‘upon the people of Louisiana to come together during the month of July in a season of prayer and fasting, seeking God’s blessing, protection, and wisdom for our state and our nation.’ “Tennessee State Representatives Mark Pody and Monty Fritts introduced House Joint Resolution 51 earlier this year. The bill, signed into law by Governor Bill Lee in early May, establishes July as a month of prayer and fasting that will be celebrated annually. This comes after Tennessee also dedicated July, 2024 to prayer and fasting. “These are not, however, the only states honoring the Lord in prayer. Texas also recently declared July 6 as a Day of Prayer. Governor Greg Abbott issued the proclamation in response to the devastating Independence Day floods, writing, ‘I urge Texans of all faiths and religious traditions and backgrounds to offer prayers on that day for the healing of individuals, safety of our first responders and public safety officers, rebuilding of communities, and restoration of the region struck by this disaster.’”(1) Why This Is Significant From a biblical and spiritual perspective, these proclamations are more than symbolic—they are strategic acts, rooted in the biblical truth that “the fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much” (James 5:16). These God-honoring proclamations serve several critical purposes: 1. Aligning the Heart of the State with God’s Heart When a group of people declares a period of prayer and fasting, it signals a collective recognition that human efforts alone are insufficient to address the complex issues facing society—moral decline, economic uncertainty, racial division, and spiritual apathy. It’s an act of humility, acknowledging that divine guidance and intervention are paramount. True change begins in the spiritual realm. Prayer and fasting are not just rituals but strategic tools for shifting atmospheres—breaking spiritual strongholds, awakening the church, and preparing the ground for divine breakthroughs. 2. Invoking God’s Favor and Intervention Throughout Scripture, fasting and prayer are associated with seeking God’s favor during pivotal moments—such as Israel’s national fasts, Solomon’s dedication of the temple, and Nehemiah’s rebuilding efforts. Declarations today echo these biblical precedents, expressing dependence on God’s mercy. By dedicating a time for collective fasting and prayer, states are asking God to intervene in their affairs—protecting communities, restoring morals, healing divisions, and revitalizing faith. 3. Fostering Spiritual Revival and Awakening Obviously, all of America needs spiritual awakening, and this starts with God’s people humbling themselves and seeking His face. These declarations serve as catalysts by igniting hearts and mobilizing their states toward renewed faith and purpose. They are also a call to the church to rise up, pray fervently, and become the moral and spiritual backbone of society. When churches unite in prayer, it creates a powerful spiritual synergy that can influence the entire region. 4. Breaking Strongholds and Overcoming Darkness We know that cities, states and nations can be under the influence of principalities and powers—forces of darkness that seek to hinder God’s plans. Prayer and fasting weaken these forces. Scripture teaches that some spiritual battles require fasting to break certain strongholds (Mark 9:29). They are not just spiritual disciplines, but weapons in the believer’s arsenal. Declaring these months of prayer and fasting can lead to the breaking of strongholds, corruption, and deception. 5. Promoting Unity and Corporate Repentance Such declarations create unity among churches, denominations, and citizens. When people come together in a common purpose, it fosters reconciliation and healing—both vertically (with God) and horizontally (with one another). These proclamations call for repentance of sin, and as 2 Chronicles 7:14 teaches us, repentance is one of the prerequisites for corporate healing. (2 Chronicles 7:14) 6. Preparing for Spiritual and Societal Transformation Finally, proclamations such as these position the states for transformation spiritually, socially, and morally. They lay the groundwork for policies and cultural shifts rooted in biblical principles, influencing education, government, and our communities. Conclusion In essence, proclamations of prayer and fasting by states like Tennessee and Louisiana are more than ceremonial gestures—they are strategic, biblical acts that acknowledge the spiritual roots of our societal problems. They call God’s people to humble themselves, seek His face, and declare His redemption over their land. These declarations are crucial steps in the process of awakening and revival. They remind us that change begins with prayer—fervent, persistent, and united prayer. They are acts of hope, faith, and obedience, trusting that God is willing and able to bring about the transformation our states and nation desperately need. May these months of prayer and fasting in Tennessee and Louisianna, and the day of prayer in Texas, serve as a rallying cry for the church to rise up, to intercede, and to believe that a spiritual awakening is not only possible but inevitable—when God’s people pray with faith and humility. This flag, commissioned by George Washington and proudly flown by our Founding Fathers, generated prayer that birthed America. And the following vision, given to Gina Gholston, reminds us that God is not finished with this important banner. The vision and its meaning will encourage you. The title of her vision and comments is: Two Flags Becoming One America recently celebrated her 249th birthday. I firmly believe it is by God’s sovereignty and for His purposes that our nation exists. It’s not with haughty pride that we believe and state this, but with sincere desire to honor Him and ensure that His original intentions for America are fulfilled. We have been entrusted with this prophetic destiny; we must humbly and intently take our place as His representatives in order to see it fulfilled. On this past July 4th, I was reminded of a significant vision the Lord gave me in 2020. Though Dutch shared this vision with you a few years back, I felt the Holy Spirit wanted us to revisit it. On May 28, 2020, I received a vision of an American flag being wadded up in someone’s hands. It was then spread out once again, and had become wrinkled, thin, and weak. Then, the flag began to “bleed,” becoming saturated with blue and red stains, which completely covered it. In this stained, wrinkled and weakened state, it looked as if the flag would simply fall apart. Then, I saw an Appeal to Heaven flag float downward. It was laid over the top of the stained and limp American Flag, completely covering it. However, the Appeal to Heaven flag not only covered the American flag - it actually penetrated it! As it did, the stains from the bleeding began to disappear and the stars and stripes began appearing again. The American flag was being revived and re-formed. When finished, the two flags had not only been united, but were also forged into one solid piece of steel. The Appeal to Heaven flag had been infused into the American flag, and was now part of it, though the appearance of the combined flags was that of the Stars and Stripes. And the Appeal to Heaven flag had solidified the American flag. Then I heard the Lord say: “This is what I Am doing! I Am forging together the church and the nation. This will strengthen the nation again. America will revive, heal, rise up and reform as the nation I birthed it to be.” God’s Original Plan Our roots as a nation are not in our flawed history; they’re in Almighty God, for it was He Who birthed America to be a radiant light of His love and salvation to the world. Imagine the pilgrims who first came to this land, standing on the shoreline of their destiny, breathing a deep sigh of relief that they had survived the voyage. Imagine them falling to their knees under the overwhelming awareness that what was unfolding in the days ahead was about God’s plan of the ages. These pilgrims were not just carving out a new life for themselves; they were taking their place on the timeline of history, building their part of God’s plan. I cannot imagine the mix of emotions within them as they felt the sands of the New World beneath their feet, and gazed upon this beautiful land. Their initial thoughts were definitely toward God, for they planted a cross, prayed and declared, “From these very shores the Gospel shall go forth to not only this New World, but the entire world.” The wrinkles of a not-so-perfect history cause some to believe that the prophetic destiny of America is weak, irrelevant, and forever lost. Or perhaps even that no such destiny ever existed. But it did, and America shall be saved, her righteous history and destiny restored. In this vision of 2020, the Appeal to Heaven flag was representative of the prayer movement in our nation. Our sincere return to God, along with our fervent, righteous prayers have become a force that is strengthening the nation. Because of this, America will revive, heal, rise up, and reform as the nation God birthed it to be. The Church has been awakened, at least in part. There is a remnant that has been aroused from their slumber and remembered their divine heritage. The destiny of God in us has met up with the timing of God for us, and caused a vicious passion for God’s Kingdom purposes to be restored. We see the distress that we are in, yet we believe and know that transformation is coming! We hear the voice of the Lord echoing through time: “If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14). We are not given to despair; we are given to fervent prayer. And God will heal our land. His words to Israel are fitting for the church and for America: “Fear not, for I Am with you; be not dismayed, for I Am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10). America is NOT defeated. She may be battered and bruised, but she will not die. We will live and declare the works of the Lord! We are one nation under God! The verdict has been determined: “America shall be saved!” Pray with me: Father, we, Your church, have been built up and strengthened to advance Your Kingdom in America and the world. You have empowered us to release Your life, awaken hope and send Your light into the earth to dispel the darkness. We will utilize our spiritual weapons to pull down every stronghold and stop hell‘s attempts to overthrow Your original purposes for America. We know that life and hope are being restored. An awakening has begun that will surge across the land and awaken the conscience of our nation. Holy Spirit’s wind is blowing, hope is rising, darkness is retreating, and You are strengthening America! As we declare our faith in what You are doing to restore America, we also continue to pray for those affected by the floods in Texas, New Mexico, and North Carolina. Please bring comfort to those impacted, as they deal with loss and devastation. We ask for Your help and protection to the rescue teams as they continue to search for victims. And we ask for grace to those ministering to hurting people. We also continue asking that supernatural wisdom be given to government officials as they work to “flesh out” the restoration beginning in our nation. We pray for President Trump, Speaker Johnson, Majority Leader Thune, and those working with them. We also ask for Your protection and wisdom over our leaders at the state and local levels. And we pray for Your protection over those in ICE and other law enforcement agencies. Please help us end violence and bring peace to our land. In Jesus’ name we pray all of these things, amen.   10. https://www.givehim15.com/post/july-10-2025 July 10, 2025 The God of Providence At the Constitutional Convention in 1787, brilliant Founding Father Benjamin Franklin called for prayer to end the contentious impasse being experienced. We quoted from his speech in a recent post [7/2/2025]. A portion of his appeal stated: “I have lived, Sir, a long time, and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth -- that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without His aid? We have been assured, Sir, in the sacred writings that ‘except the Lord build they labor in vain that build it.’ I firmly believe this; I also believe that without His concurring aid, we shall succeed in this political building no better than the Builders of Babel.”(1) Without question, Franklin and those gathered with him at the Continental Congress believed that God wanted and needed to be involved in the birthing of America. On that specific occasion, they asked for His help in fashioning the Constitution of the United States of America. Just let that sink in. God was involved in every facet of forming this nation, including our Constitution. In this challenging time when some are trying to remove the influence of America’s Judeo-Christian roots, keep yourself reminded of this. I am always shocked and bewildered when I hear Christian leaders ignorantly deny that America was God’s idea. In their ignorance, they sometimes sign onto the blatantly obvious attempt to silence patriotic Christians by using the ridiculous phrase “Christian nationalists.” Many of them contend that the only nation God has ever birthed was Israel. However, Job 12:23 tells us, “He makes nations rise and then fall, builds up some and abandons others” (The Message). It is contradictory, at best, to assert that God would form a nation (Israel) in order to birth the Messiah, but wouldn’t do so for the primary purpose of spreading the good news of His redeeming sacrifice. To believe that God formed America for the purpose of propagating the gospel in no way insinuates that other people or nations do not also exist for divine purposes. As believers, we are all called to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and extend His Kingdom on earth. The assertion simply means that this was the primary purpose for America’s existence. The Delivering Fog In Franklin’s passionate appeal for prayer, partially quoted above, he also referred to God’s frequent help during the War of Independence, describing it as “frequent instances of a Superintending providence in our favor.”(2) Some of the testimonies of God’s intervention in the Revolution involved the weather. Moms For America recounts one such example: “The Battle of Brooklyn found the American forces surrounded by 32,000 British soldiers, trapped near the East River. The British dug trenches around the Americans, planning to finish them off. They awaited British ships to arrive to cut off any possible escape route. “The ships never arrived! Though the plan was set, the wind became still, and they couldn’t sail into place. “It rained all night, and George Washington used all available boats to begin shuttling his troops across the river to safety under cover of darkness. As morning approached, he still had a large percentage of his soldiers awaiting transport. “Their loss could mean disaster for the American Revolution. “Then, a heavy fog settled over the American and British troops. Even after daybreak, the fog lay like a blanket upon both. When it finally lifted, the British were astonished to see every sign of their adversaries gone! The mysterious fog saved the American revolutionaries from capture, or worse.”(3) “The event was documented by Major Benjamin Tallmadge: ‘As the dawn of the next day approached, those of us who remained… became very anxious for our own safety…At this time, a very dense fog began to rise off the river, and it seemed to settle in a peculiar manner over both encampments. I recollect this peculiar providential occurrence perfectly well, and so very dense was the atmosphere that I could scarcely discern a man at six yards distance.’”(4) The God of providence came through! Speaking of providence, Douglas S. Winnail recounts a providential miracle for the United States…before we even existed! When God was still shaping George Washington to be our first commander-in-chief and first president, Winnail said of the young Washington: “…the fact that he lived to lead this young nation was due to Divine Providence—the intervention of God in mankind’s affairs for a purpose. In 1755, during the French and Indian War, 23-year-old Colonel Washington was one of 1,400 British troops under the command of General Braddock. They were marching to capture Fort Duquesne, near Pittsburgh, when they were attacked by a French and Indian force. During the battle, ‘Braddock was killed, and every officer on horseback was shot, except Washington.’ “The young colonel [Washington] later wrote to his brother, ‘But by the All-Powerful Dispensations of Providence, I have been protected beyond all human probability or expectation. I had four bullets through my coat, and two horses shot under me, yet escaped unhurt, while death was leveling my companions on every side of me.’ “A Native American who fought in the battle stated later, ‘Washington was never born to be killed by a bullet! I had seventeen fair fires at him with my rifle and yet could not bring him to the ground.’”(5) The God who declares the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10) was preserving and shaping the first president of the United States of America…before there even was a United States of America! And this providential God is not finished with our nation. Pray with me: God of Providence, remind us today to keep our focus and gaze on You in this strategic hour of history. May we not be distracted by world events, the clamor of those who don’t like our patriotism, or any other tactic of the enemy. Keep us reminded that You are ruling in the affairs of men, and that we must listen carefully to You for our instructions and guidance. Six times in Daniel 7, You said of Daniel that he “kept looking.” After each time You gave Him a vision and instructions, he “kept looking.” We must do the same. We ask for Your guidance as we pray for America and her role in the coming worldwide revival. We ask for this guidance for those working to restore our nation. Lead our President and his team, as well as our legislators and leaders at the state and local levels. Give us a strong America so that we might serve Your purposes in our generation (Acts 13:36). Motivate the church to rise up as never before and contend for Your purposes. Fan the flames of intercession where they may have dwindled, and bring Your fire and passion to the church. Give a renewed hunger for Your presence and Your cause on the Earth. AND GIVE US LISTENING AND HEARING HEARTS! All of this, we pray in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. There are varying opinions regarding the Big Beautiful Bill. Some conservatives rejected it, believing that it still spends too much money; many others, however, believe it is a good start in turning around our nation. Without getting into the weeds of the bill, which I would not even be qualified to do, here are some victories we should all celebrate: The bill bans Medicaid payments (yours and my tax dollars) to clinics offering abortions—even for non‑abortion care. There will be no federal funds for abortion. Planned Parenthood took a huge hit. $350B was allocated for border walls, enforcement, and deportation of illegals. We can take another step toward appropriate immigration, vetting those who come into America (thereby stopping criminals), requiring that they learn our history, agree with our ideals, and ensure that they assimilate into our culture. We want compassionate, but also wise, orderly, and conditional immigration policies (just like heaven). Medicaid (yours and my tax dollars) is no longer permitted to pay for “gender transitions.” No money for surgeries or blockers. When able, a person receiving Welfare and Food Stamps (SNAP) must work, as the Bible teaches (2 Thessalonians 3:10). The Child Tax Credit received a slight increase. Up to $25K of tax-free income in tips, and up to $12,500 in tax-free overtime pay (which would be $25,000 when a couple files jointly). This may not sound like much, but to lower-income households, it is huge. The bill also ensures that nearly 90% of Social Security beneficiaries will no longer pay federal income taxes on their benefits, providing meaningful and immediate relief to seniors who have spent a lifetime contributing to our nation’s economy. The first national school voucher plan was approved, which will help all but the wealthiest families pay for private school and other educational expenses. It is a compromised plan, and states must opt in, which, of course, most liberal blue states will not do, but it is a good beginning. We are making progress. Thanks For Leadership Changes Passing a comprehensive piece of legislation often resembles a complex political ballet, requiring deft and complicated negotiation, strategic compromise, and relentless persistence. The recent journey of the “Big Beautiful Bill” through Congress exemplifies these challenges, particularly for House Speaker Michael Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune, who played pivotal roles in shepherding the legislation to passage. From the outset, the “Big Beautiful Bill” faced significant hurdles. The bill’s expansive scope -- aiming to overhaul infrastructure, bolster economic growth, and address pressing social issues -- generated both enthusiasm and opposition across the political spectrum. While many advocates championed its ambitious vision, others raised concerns about its costs and potential unintended consequences. For Speaker Johnson, the challenge was especially difficult in balancing the diverse priorities within the House, and he demonstrated incredible wisdom and skill. The bill required not only broad support but also careful navigation through a fractious caucus with varying ideological perspectives. Building consensus meant making difficult concessions, trimming certain provisions, and addressing ideological objections. The Speaker’s leadership – and no doubt his stamina — was tested as he worked tirelessly to unify moderates and conservatives, engaging in behind-the-scenes negotiations and offering assurances to secure enough votes for passage. Herding cats would be easy compared to herding our Congressional politicians. Meanwhile, Senate Majority Leader Thune faced similar complexities. He had to negotiate with moderate as well as ultra-conservative Republicans, often using amendments and procedural tactics to gain consensus. The intricate process was further complicated by the need to reconcile the Senate version with the House’s amendments, requiring delicate negotiations and strategic compromises. Both leaders also had to contend with external pressures, including lobbying efforts from interest groups, public opinion, and media scrutiny. These two men, relatively new in their positions, did exceptional jobs of balancing the legislative priorities with political realities. Ultimately, the passage of the "Big Beautiful Bill" was a testament to their skill, wisdom, perseverance, leadership, and political acumen. It demanded immense effort, strategic negotiation, and the ability to find common ground amid diverse and often conflicting interests. The successful passage marked a significant legislative achievement, showcasing the leadership of Johnson and Thune in navigating one of the most challenging legislative endeavors in recent history. And, of course, President Trump helped shape the bill and push it through the finish line. Much of it included his “promises made, promises kept.” We are told he made numerous calls, explained his positions effectively, as well as offered assurances regarding future progress in areas of concern. It truly was a team effort. Thank you, President Trump, and thank You, Lord, for placing him in office. We give thanks for all members of Congress who are standing up for righteous and honorable legislation, often having to deal with threats of physical violence, endure false accusations, face political threats, and even persecution to do so. God is answering our prayers and sending righteous leaders to serve in Congress. It is a challenging – and often thankless -- responsibility. We thank them, and we certainly give thanks to the Lord. Our responsibility is to continue doing our part in the spiritual realm. Prayer releases the power of God, and our spiritual warfare binds demonic plans and activities. Divine-human cooperation is always needed to see His plans move forward, including restoration. The necessary involvement on our part has begun, and we will not stop. We will not despise small beginnings (Zechariah 4:10), nor will we settle for them. Pray with me: Father, we thank You for President Trump and the team he has around him, Speaker Johnson and righteous House members, Majority Leader Thune, and other godly Senators. We are grateful for the incredible changes taking place in our government and the turnaround occurring in our nation. Though this has only begun, we give You praise. We ask that You would continue to remove the ungodly from our government, and give us wise, righteous leaders in Washington, D.C. We also ask You to protect these leaders, their families, and staffs from harm. We also pray for the continued transformation of our judicial branch of government. Thank You for the victories we have experienced, but we know much greater transformation is needed. Give us judges who honor You, Your Word, and the Constitution. We ask You to remove those who oppose the principles of Scripture, and who legislate from the bench. And finally today, Lord, we pray for the leadership in the body of Christ. Give them wisdom to lead with insight and understanding. Open their eyes to receive the revelation of Your will and Word. Renew passion where it has waned, restore any loss of “first love” for You (Revelation 2:4), break off from them any “hope-deferred” (Proverbs 13:12), and heal them from the wounds of betrayal and rejection. Increase the anointing of Holy Spirit on their lives and ministries, strengthen their homes and families. All of these things we ask in Christ’s name, amen.   12. https://www.givehim15.com/post/july-8-2025 July 8, 2025 Taken from the words of a great hymn, today’s title is: “When Darkness Seems to Hide His Face” I would like to take another day to pray for the people in Texas before moving on to other subjects. I have spent the morning (Monday) grieving over the tragic and heart-wrenching stories. I simply cannot imagine the level of emotional pain many people are experiencing. At the time of this writing, 82 people are reported dead, a number that will most certainly rise. Ten children are still missing from the Christian camp, and 41 overall in Texas. It is impossible for words to eliminate or lessen the grief in situations like this, but it is a balm and a comfort to know others care. Author and lecturer Leo Buscaglia once talked about a contest he was asked to judge. The purpose of the contest was to find the most caring child. The winner was a four-year-old boy whose next-door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife. Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman’s yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there. When his mother asked him what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said, “Nothing, I just helped him cry.”(1) I have always found the words of Jesus in Luke 4:18 comforting during times such as these. As part of His “mission statement,” He declared that He had come to bring “healing for the brokenhearted” (TPT). Jesus understands what it means to have a broken heart. The Message Bible uses the word “battered” to describe the brokenhearted. Indeed. And the Amplified Bible describes it as those “crushed by tragedy.” The “weeping prophet” Jeremiah, while looking at the smoldering ruins of Jerusalem and grieving the loss of many lives, stated his trust in the God of hope: “This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope…Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. ‘The Lord is my portion,’ says my soul, ‘Therefore I hope in Him!’” (Lamentations 3.21-24 NKJV) Today, I have been reminded of the words of the great hymn, The Solid Rock: “When darkness seems to hide His face, I rest on His unchanging grace. In every high and stormy gale, My anchor holds within the veil. “His oath, His covenant, His blood, Support me in the ‘whelming flood. When all around my soul gives way, He then is all my Hope and Stay.”(2) The Anchor of Hope It is impossible to go through life without tasting the bitterness of tragedy, and the associated darkness does indeed try to hide His face. That’s when we cling to Him – He is our Anchor of Hope. The words of this great hymn are taken from Hebrews 6:18-19. It says: “This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil.” The Old Testament word for “hope,” tiqvah, actually means “a cord used to attach something.” Isn’t that a great picture!? Our hope tethers us to Him similarly, the Hebrew writer was stating that our hope in Christ anchors us. I am praying this for the people of Texas. The same biblical author stated that our hope in Christ also keeps us moving forward. Hebrews 10:23 tells us to hold fast to the confession of our hope. “Hold fast” comes from a Greek nautical term meaning “to set one’s course.”(3) In Acts 27, sailors in a fierce storm had to “set their course” for shore. Our faith in Christ keeps us from being blown off course during life’s storms. I’m praying this for them, as well. The great poet Emily Dickinson captured the sustaining power of hope in one of her beautiful poems: “Hope is the thing with feathers That perches in the soul And sings the tunes without the words And never stops at all.”(4) “At the Royal Palace of Tehran in Iran, you can see one of the most beautiful mosaic works in the world. The ceilings and walls flash like diamonds in multifaceted reflections. “Originally, when the palace was designed, the architect specified huge sheets of mirrors on the walls. When the first shipment arrived from Paris, they found, to their horror, that the mirrors were shattered. The contractor threw them in the trash and brought the sad news to the architect. “Amazingly, the architect ordered all of the broken pieces collected, then smashed them into tiny pieces. He glued them to the walls to create the great mosaic of silvery, shimmering, mirrored bits of glass.”(5) God knows how to take broken hearts and transform them into restored mosaics of His grace. I am praying that He does so for those “battered” and “crushed by tragedy” in Texas. I am declaring over them that darkness will not be able to hide His face, and that their anchor indeed, holds fast. Let’s do so now. Pray with me: God of Hope, we thank You for Your desire to fully heal and restore life to broken hearts. We are grateful for each time You entered our hopeless situations and met us in the dark place of despair. Thank You for pursuing us with Your relentless love, restoring our souls. We take hold of the arms of the hurting in Texas and hold them up. We cry tears of love and intercession for them, identifying with them in their pain. Strengthen them, comfort their battered hearts, and remind them that You are the ever-present help in times of trouble. Remind the grieving parents who lost children that they are with You, in the place of eternal joy and life, and they will see them again in heaven. Comfort the hearts of traumatized children, allowing no stronghold of fear to take root in their lives. Give the pastors and counselors words of comfort and wisdom to share with the hurting. Father, You have promised to cause new life to spring forth, even from the barren recesses of hopeless hearts. Because of Your tender mercies, we declare over our hurting brothers and sisters that their lives will one day flourish again. Even though they may walk through death’s valley, they will remain anchored to the God of Hope, who will sustain them through the pain and restore their hurting hearts. All of this we pray in the name of our Savior and Healer, Jesus. Amen.   13. https://www.givehim15.com/post/july-7-2025 July 7, 2025 Tragedy in Texas There are no words to describe the tragedy that took place in Texas due to the unimaginable flooding that occurred on Friday. As of Sunday afternoon [7/6/2025], 59 people had died in the Kerrville, Texas area, 70 statewide; 27 are still missing. Eight hundred fifty (850) were rescued. The Guadalupe River rose an unbelievable 26 feet in 45 minutes. The equivalent of four months’ worth of rain fell in just four hours. It happened in the middle of the night; people in cabins, homes, and RVs woke up with water already swirling around them. Many of them were children attending summer camps. We must pray for the precious people in this Texas region. Governor Abbott declared Sunday, [7/6/2025] a Day of Prayer in the state of Texas. There have been stories of miraculous survival, some surviving after being swept 15 miles or more downstream. Though the possibilities are slim, there may still be some waiting to be rescued, and we should pray for this. And of course, we pray for the grieving families who have lost loved ones. I am praying for them to find comfort in the loving arms of the Lord, spoken of in Romans 8: “Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ’s love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not back-stabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture.... None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. I’m absolutely convinced that nothing - nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable - absolutely nothing can get between us and God’s love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us.” (Romans 8:35-39 The Message) My father, Dean Sheets, now in heaven, wrote a beautiful devotion several years ago on the importance of helping and serving one another. It was titled, simply, “Others.” “Years ago, the Salvation Army was holding an international convention, and its founder, General William Booth, could not attend because of a physical weakness. Instead, he cabled his convention message to those in attendance. It was simply one word: “Others.” “The Master has sent you into His vineyard. There is the ministry of intercession for Christian workers. There is the ministry of comfort to sad hearts within your own circle. ‘Bear ye one another’s burdens” (Galatians 6:2). “Lift up the hands which hang down” (Hebrews 12:12). Begin today! Too many are waiting for the ‘big ministry’ to come along, yet someone needs you right now. “Dr. Leonard Cammer, who specialized in treating depressed people, once said, ‘The human being is the only species that cannot survive alone. The human being needs another human being—otherwise he’s dead! A telephone call to a depressed person can save a life. An occasional word, a ten-minute visit, can be more effective than twenty-four hours of nursing care. You can buy nursing care. You cannot buy love.’ “Paul told us to ‘Bear one another’s burdens’ (Galatians 6:2), not ‘BARE’ them. Never put a finger on someone’s faults unless it’s part of a helping hand. “We need one another so much! The words ‘one accord’ are mentioned eleven times in the Book of Acts. Remember that's the story of how Christians together ‘turned the world upside down’ for Jesus (Acts 17:6). “Together we can do so much. ‘A threefold cord is not quickly broken’ (Ecclesiastes 4:12). One cord, made up of three strands, is a hundred times stronger than just one strand.”(1) Let’s join our hearts and prayers with the people of Texas! Prayer Against Terrorism Attacks On an encouraging note, as of Sunday evening, there were no reports of terrorist attacks in our nation over the holiday weekend. I thank you all for praying. We take the warnings and alerts we receive very seriously, both from authorities and prophetic intercessors. It seems that violence in general was also down. New York City recorded zero shootings and zero murders across all five boroughs on Independence Day, marking the first time in recorded history this peaceful milestone has been achieved, according to NYPD officials, including Commissioner Jessica Tisch. Who knows if perhaps our prayers were part of the reason for the lack of violence. Again, thank you for praying, thanks to our authorities for working to protect us, and thank the Lord for His protection against terrorism. Pray with me: Father, we thank You for the lack of violence over the Fourth of July weekend. We also thank You for those tasked with the responsibility of protecting our nation. Please give them supernatural help as they ongoingly endeavor to accomplish that responsibility. Our hearts are hurting with the people of Texas, who have experienced such a devastating catastrophe. We pray for those who have lost family members, asking You to comfort their hearts. Strengthen them, give them grace, and let them feel Your love, even during this time of grief. Help them not to become bitter in their pain. If there are any survivors at this point waiting to be found, please facilitate their rescue. Please bring appropriate help to the children who survived but have experienced such incredible trauma, so that they are not scarred throughout their lives. Help the communities rebuild and recover. Use this difficult time to bring people together, as we join ourselves to others who are feeling such pain. You are a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). And Father, this is a good time to include our entire nation. Please heal the wounds of division and strife in America. Help us tear down walls of hatred and racism, and heal us from the wounds that our division has caused. All of this, we pray in Jesus’ name, amen. With long life, I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”’ (TPT) Through prophetic words, we have been told several times that America will experience some significant “shakings.” We have also been told that we cannot completely stop all of them, but that we can lessen the damage/destruction with our prayers, and that America is “anchored” and “secure.” We can unquestionably protect our families and possessions with our prayers.   15. https://www.givehim15.com/post/july-4-2025 July 4, 2025 Independence Forever One can only imagine the range of emotions present in Independence Hall when the Declaration of Independence was signed. In the classic book, The Light and the Glory, Peter Marshall and David Manuel offer the following account: “The magnitude of what they had done began to weigh upon them, and they realized that they and their countrymen were no longer Englishmen, but citizens of a fledgling nation barely a few minutes old. Many stared out the window. Some wept openly. Some, like Witherspoon, bowed their heads and closed their eyes in prayer. John Hancock broke the silence: ‘Gentlemen, the price on my head has just been doubled!’ “A wry chuckle followed, and then Samuel Adams rose: ‘We have this day restored the Sovereign, to Whom alone men ought to be obedient. He reigns in heaven and … from the rising to the setting sun, may His Kingdom come.’”(1) It is ridiculous to suggest that these Founders did not believe God was involved in this endeavor. John Quincy Adams, son of John and Abigail Adams and sixth president of the United States, made the profound statement on the 45th anniversary of the signing, “The highest glory of the American Revolution was this: it connected in one indissoluble bond the principles of civil government with the principles of Christianity” (July 4, 1821).(2) Adams’ belief in this indissoluble bond and God’s destiny for America - taking the gospel of the Kingdom to the ends of the earth - never waned. On America’s 61st birthday, July 4, 1837, he made the following staggering declaration, connecting the birth of our nation to the birth of Jesus Christ: “Why is it that, next to the birthday of the Savior of the world, your most joyous and most venerated festival returns on this day? [July 4th]. Is it not that, in the chain of human events, the birthday of the nation is indissolubly linked with the birthday of the Savior? That it forms a leading event in the progress of the Gospel dispensation? Is it not that the Declaration of Independence first organized the social compact on the foundation of the Redeemer's mission upon earth?” (7/4/1837).(3) Adams wasn’t equating America’s birth with Christ’s birth; he was saying that America’s birth was for the purpose of announcing Christ’s birth as the Redeemer of humankind. This patriot knew why God raised up America! The Price of Freedom The signers of the Declaration of Independence understood the potential cost of their actions. This is why they ended the document with the words: “For the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of the Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.”(4) John Quincy’s dad, John Adams, one of the signers and our second President, spoke of the probable cost to his wife, Abigail: “I am well aware of the toil and blood and treasure that it will cost us to maintain this Declaration and support and defend these states. Yet through all the gloom, I can see the rays of ravishing light and glory. I can see that the end is more than worth all the means.”(5) Signer Lewis Morris’ half-brother tried to dissuade him from signing the Declaration, warning him of the potential cost. Morris’s eloquent response? “Damn the consequences. Give me the pen!”(6) I’ve often wondered if General George Patton was one of his descendants! Signer Sam Adams, mentioned above, was a second cousin to John Adams, a distant uncle to John Quincy, and a key voice of liberty. Thomas Jefferson referred to him as “the patriarch of liberty;” Boston newspapers eulogized him as “the Father of the American Revolution.” (The Adam‘s clan was certainly a bunch of freedom-loving warriors!) Speaking of the possible cost of freedom and declaring where he had placed his trust Sam Adams said: “We have proclaimed to the world our determination ‘to die freemen, rather than to live slaves.’ We have appealed to heaven for the justice of our cause, and in Heaven, we have placed our trust.”(7) Cousin John was such a passionate pioneer of liberty that Jefferson referred to him as a “colossus of independence.” Though John Adams and Jefferson didn't always see eye-to-eye, their passion for America enabled them to put aside their differences, and they died as close friends—on the same day!(8) Most people are unaware that Adams and Jefferson, in an incredible phenomenon that could have only been caused by Providence, both died on the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1826. Incredibly, God honored their love for America by allowing them to live until that landmark day. Their passion to see the survival of this “holy experiment,” as many described America at that time, and God‘s divine favor kept them alive until this milestone was reached. Adams, too weak to attend the national Fourth of July celebration, asked to be seated in a chair by his window in order to watch the festivities. While there, while watching the celebration, he drifted into unconsciousness and died later that night. Two of his last words before he graduated to Heaven were, “Independence forever.”(9) Passionate in life; passionate in death. When the Declaration of Independence was signed, Adams said it “will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary Festival. It ought to be commemorated as the Day of Deliverance by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever.”(10) And so it is. As we celebrate this monumental day, the 249th birthday of America, I leave you with the words of Founding Father Joseph Warren, quoted by Ronald Reagan in his First Inaugural Address. Reagan shared: “On the eve of our struggle for independence, a man who might have been one of the greatest among the Founding Fathers, Dr. Joseph Warren, President of the Massachusetts Congress, said to his fellow Americans, ‘Our country is in danger, but not to be despaired of.... On you depend the fortunes of America. You are to decide the important questions upon which rest the happiness and the liberty of millions yet unborn. Act worthy of yourselves.’”(11) Reagan continued, “Well, I believe we, the Americans of today, are ready to act worthy of ourselves, ready to do what must be done to ensure happiness and liberty for ourselves, our children, and our children’s children. “And as we renew ourselves here in our own land, we will be seen as having greater strength throughout the world. We will again be the exemplar of freedom and a beacon of hope for those who do not now have freedom…”(12) Happy Independence Day! Pray with me: Father, we Americans give thanks for our freedom. We are an immeasurably blessed people. Thousands of our brothers and sisters around the world who read these posts understand how blessed we are, perhaps better than most Americans. We pray today for the courage to “act worthy of” this blessing and of our holy calling (Ephesians 4:1). Give us hearts of iron, nerves of steel, and holy zeal. Fill us with fresh resolve to make our heavenward appeals, to answer destiny’s call. Give us hearts that bow low, but dream high. Make us the Joshuas and Calebs, the Adams and Reagans of our time, fearless in the face of demons and of those who war against Your planned harvest. May this be Your Ekklesia’s finest hour, Your Kingdom’s greatest advance on planet earth. We will represent our great Redeemer until we can say with our brother, Paul, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7 NASB).   16. https://www.givehim15.com/post/july-2-2025 July 2, 2025 Prayer and America’s Constitution Many Americans are unaware of God’s intervention in saving our Republic through Roger Sherman and Benjamin Franklin. I am going to venture a guess that most of you know little, if anything, about Founding Father, Roger Sherman. His contribution to America’s beginning was extremely important. Sherman was distinguished as the only founding father to sign all four of America’s major founding documents: the Articles of Association (1774), the Declaration of Independence (1776), the Articles of Confederation (1781), and the United States Constitution (1787). What an honor! “Sherman was a shoe cobbler, surveyor, and merchant prior to his political career. He was a self-taught lawyer, a state senator, a superior court judge, and a judge in Connecticut for fourteen years. Later, he was a member of the Continental Congress and helped draft the Declaration of Independence. He was also a member of the Constitutional Convention, where he made 138 speeches. He then became a U.S. representative from 1789-91, and at the age of 70, was elected a U.S. Senator, serving from 1791-93.”(1) Many Americans, like me, for the first 45 years of my life, did not know much about the Constitutional Convention and other founding events. Here is a very brief overview of significant events leading up to and including the Constitutional Convention: In 1776, the thirteen American colonies declared their independence from Britain. (The Declaration of Independence) The Revolutionary War took place from 1776 to 1783. During this time, the thirteen United States functioned under the Articles of Confederation. The Constitution had not yet been written, and we had no President. Washington, our first President, wasn’t elected until 1789. The central government had limited power and income (which, generally speaking, is appropriate) and therefore, could not effectively support an army and provide for other needs. James Madison and George Washington were among those who feared the young country was on the brink of collapse. In 1787, in an attempt to remedy this, a Federal Convention of the states was planned in Philadelphia. This was eleven years after the Declaration of Independence had been written. (It was not called the Constitutional Convention until later.) The delegates assumed they were meeting only to make improvements to the Articles of Confederation. While there, however, most of the delegates decided that a completely new system of government was needed, not just a revision of the old. The convention lasted from May 24 to September 17; it was VERY contentious. For a while, it seemed they would fail in their efforts.(2) “On Thursday, June 28, 1787, the delegates were embroiled in a bitter debate over how each state was to be represented in the new government. The hostile feelings created by the smaller states being pitted against the larger states were so bitter that some delegates actually left the Convention. “Benjamin Franklin, being the President (Governor) of Pennsylvania, was hosting the rest of the 55 delegates attending the Convention. Being the senior member of the convention at 81 years of age, he commanded the respect of all present, and, as recorded in James Madison’s detailed records, he rose to speak in this moment of crisis: “‘The small progress we have made after four or five weeks of close attendance and continual reasonings with each other - our different sentiments on almost every question…producing as many noes as ayes, is, methinks, a melancholy proof of the imperfection of the Human Understanding. “‘We indeed seem to feel our own want of political wisdom since we have been running about in search of it. We have gone back to ancient history for models of government, and examined the different forms of those Republics which, having been formed with the seeds of their own dissolution, now no longer exist. And we have viewed the Modern States all round Europe, but find none of their Constitutions suitable to our circumstances. “‘In this situation of this Assembly, groping as it were in the dark to find political truth, and scarce able to distinguish it when presented to us, how has it happened, Sir, that we have not hitherto once thought of humbly appealing to the Father of lights to illuminate our understanding? “‘In the beginning of the Contest with Great Britain, when we were sensible of danger, we had daily prayer in this room for Divine protection. Our prayers, Sir, were heard, and they were graciously answered. All of us who were engaged in the struggle must have observed frequent instances of a superintending Providence in our favor. “‘To that kind Providence, we owe this happy opportunity of consulting in peace on the means of establishing our future national felicity. And have we now forgotten that powerful Friend? Or do we imagine we no longer need His assistance? “‘I have lived, Sir, a long time, and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth–that God Governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without His aid? “‘We have been assured, Sir, in the Sacred Writings, that “except the Lord build the House, they labor in vain that build it.” I firmly believe this; and I also believe that without this concurring aid, we shall succeed in this political building no better than the Builders of Babel: We shall be divided by our partial local interests; our projects will be confounded, and we ourselves shall become a reproach and bye word down to future ages. “‘And what is worse, mankind may hereafter, from this unfortunate instance, despair of establishing Governments by Human wisdom and leave it to chance, war, and conquest. “‘I, therefore, beg leave to move - that henceforth prayers imploring the assistance of Heaven, and its blessing on our deliberations, be held in this Assembly every morning before we proceed to business, and that one or more of the clergy of this city be requested to officiate in that service.’”(3) Roger Sherman was the person who seconded Franklin’s motion to begin each daily session with prayer.(4) This was approved, and the practice has continued since, although poorly attended and supported. Can you imagine the breakthroughs and recoveries that would occur in our nation if today’s Congress took Franklin and Sherman’s advice seriously?! It would produce results now, just as it did then. “Shortly after this, Sherman made the suggestion that state representation in the Senate be equal and that state representation in the House be based on population. This historic proposal, which came to be called the ‘Connecticut Compromise,’ was adopted, and the system has been in use since. Sherman was also on the committee which decided the wording of the First Amendment.(5) ‘Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.’ “Roger Sherman once described the necessity of ‘Admiring and thankfully acknowledging the riches of redeeming love, and earnestly imploring that divine assistance which may enable us to live no more to ourselves, but to Him who loved us and gave Himself to die for us.’(6) “Why is it that such a giant of a man is so little covered by the textbooks of today? To think that the only man to sign all four of our major founding documents, establish prayer in Congress, develop the compromise for just representation between House and Senate is unknown to most Americans baffles the mind.”(7) Today, we honor him along with Franklin and our other Founding Fathers. But while doing so, we honor the One who gave them wisdom and understanding to accomplish the establishment of America. Pray with me: Father, it is an indescribable privilege to be part of a nation created by You to propagate the gospel of Your Kingdom. You birthed America, and You have prospered and blessed us beyond measure. Our Founders knew You were involved in our formation; they knew and honored You as the only King. They worshiped You, honored Your Word, and believed in Your Son, Jesus Christ. And they led with “servant hearts” and unselfish motivations. Over the many decades since then, America drifted far from You. We have dishonored and disrespected You, Your Son, and Your holy Word. Many of our leaders have been educated fools, leading America down a path of rebellion and wickedness. Like the prodigal in Scripture, we squandered our inheritance and wasted it on sin and selfish desires. But also like the prodigal, we believe in Your mercy. We believe in the power of the blood of Jesus. We believe it cleanses us from all sin and unrighteousness. And we believe in restoration. We believe that You are restoring America to You and to our calling. We place our faith in Christ’s blood and boldly declare, “America shall be - and is being - saved!” Our decree: We decree that America is returning to the ancient path of honoring God and walking in His ways. These developments advanced his administration’s priorities, reinforced American strength globally, and secured domestic legal and social victories. 1. Military Strike in Iran and Disruption of Nuclear Capabilities One of the most significant actions was the targeted military operation against Iran’s nuclear facilities. This strike was meticulously planned and executed with the aim of deterring Iran’s nuclear ambitions and preventing the development of nuclear weapons, thereby enhancing regional and global security. It has been called by many the greatest single military strike in history. Sources indicate that the operation successfully destroyed Iran’s key nuclear infrastructure, including underground centrifuge facilities and research centers. The strike was carried out with precision, minimizing civilian casualties and avoiding escalation into broader conflict. The strategic timing and execution underscore the Trump administration’s commitment to a firm posture against Iran’s nuclear program, consistent with longstanding policies to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. Supreme Court Victories on Judicial Limitation and Parental Rights We have been praying for a shift in the judicial system of America and it seems our prayers are being answered. President Trump’s administration has secured significant victories at the Supreme Court, particularly in cases involving limits on district judges’ powers. One absolutely crucial case bolstered the administration’s efforts to limit the authority of district judges in certain federal cases, reinforcing the executive branch’s capacity to implement policies without unconstitutional judicial interference. This decision is seen as a crucial step in restoring balance among the branches of government, ensuring that executive actions are not unduly impeded by lower court rulings. And the dissent from the liberals on the court was a stark demonstration of their disregard for the Constitution in order to promote their own ideologies. Justice Barrett’s refutation of Justice Jackson’s rambling dissent has been described as eviscerating. Barrett said, “She offers a vision of the judicial role that would make even the most ardent defender of judicial supremacy blush.” Indeed. Additionally, the Court issued a landmark ruling affirming parental rights in Maryland, strengthening protections for parents in educational and family law matters. The decision affirms parental authority in making educational choices for their children and limits ridiculous, and I might add very evil, overreach by local government authorities. This out of control school district’s contention that they can teach grade school children perverted sexual actions and ideologies, and that parents can do nothing to stop this evil activity, is abhorrent. The ruling was a tremendous victory for family sovereignty and individual rights. (Although the fact that it actually had to be brought before the Supreme Court is astounding.) 4. Peace Deal in Africa and Regional Stability On the international front, President Trump’s diplomatic efforts have yielded a significant breakthrough in Africa—a comprehensive peace deal signed between the Congo and Rwanda, conflicting parties in a major regional conflict. This peace agreement aims to end years of violence, foster stability, and promote economic development. The deal involves ceasefire provisions, power-sharing arrangements, and commitments to disarmament. It is supported by the U.S. and regional leaders, with the goal of establishing a sustainable peace process. This success, which has gone unnoticed by many, underscores the administration’s commitment to fostering stability in Africa through diplomatic engagement and strategic partnerships. Although America experienced tremendous victory in Iran and the Middle East, Trump saw great breakthrough with NATO, and continues to have success in various other situations, the battle still rages, especially here on the home-front. Leftists, Marxists, Communists, and globalists are intent on stopping Trump’s agenda; they want America weaker and more immoral. Case in point: Attorney General Pam Bondi and Kash Patel with the FBI have launched criminal probes into three hospitals – and are still investigating others — that have refused to stop sex-change treatments and surgeries on minors. (You can read about it here). Thousands of innocent children have been mutilated and permanently sterilized by money-hungry and soulless reprobates. Thank God the turnaround has begun! On July 18 of last year (2024) my friend, Steven Springer, received a strong word from the Lord regarding Trump and America. Though this was almost a year ago it is just as relevant today. Let’s agree with and declare Proverbs 24:3-6 in the Passion Translation, making it our motto: ‘Wise people are builders — they build families, businesses, communities. And through intelligence and insight their enterprises are established and endure. Because of their skilled leadership, the hearts of people are filled with the treasures of wisdom and the pleasures of spiritual wealth. Wisdom can make anyone into a mighty spiritual warrior, and revelation-knowledge increases strength. Wise strategy is necessary to wage spiritual war, and with many astute advisers, you’ll see the path to victory more clearly.’ “There will be a tremendous generosity seen through President Trump that will become contagious throughout the land. Conspiracies, including the deep state’s demonic plans, will be unmasked and brought into the light! Just as demonic strategies didn’t work against Nehemiah and the rebuilding of Jerusalem’s walls, they will not work against Trump. Their accusations will not stop the rebuilding of America in the unity of the Spirit, and the restoring of the United States to again be ‘one nation under God, with liberty and justice for all!’ “The chains and bondage of the marxist/socialist spirit that has entered this nation over the last forty years and now holds people captive, will be abolished. They will no longer have a place of influence. “There will be a tremendous outpouring of Holy Spirit, a latter rain of glory that will fall in America – including upon the White House. With all your heart rely on Him to guide you, and He will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with Him in whatever you do, and He will lead you wherever you go. Don’t think for a moment that you know it all, for wisdom comes when you adore Him with undivided devotion and avoid everything that’s wrong.’ “Through God’s love, grace, and power the turnaround has begun!” ************ I remain confident that this was a word from the Lord. I also know it has been and will continue to be contested as satan tries to alter God’s timing and decrees (Daniel 7:25). Trump won the election, as Steven accurately predicted, but we know the battle isn’t over. We will continue to persevere in prayer to overcome satan’s strategies. And we will not waver. Pray with me: Father, when the great apostle, Paul, encountered numerous difficulties and great opposition, his declaration was: “None of these things move me” (Acts 20:24). As we observe the plans and attacks against You and Your cause today, we say the same: we are unmoved. Just as Nehemiah remained focused when attacked and warred against, we too shall remain steadfast, our eyes fixed on You. We pray that President Trump and his team, righteous leaders in Congress, and righteous judges throughout our nation will remain steadfast and immovable in their determination to see America turn around. We also pray that every attempt to terrorize our nation and harm innocent people would be exposed and stopped. Give those assigned with this task supernatural help to do so. We pray that every attempt to make America weak, to turn us toward communism and Marxism, and to produce greater evil would fail. And we ask You to bring the release of the revival Steven spoke of. Use this outpouring of Your Spirit to heal our land of hatred and division, and to deliver us from antichrist mindsets, antisemitism, and all forms of racism. Miracles can be ministered and received in several ways. The anointing of the Holy Spirit in us can be transferred to others through touching them (referred to in the King James translation as “laying on hands;” Mark 16:18). James 5:14 tells believers to call for elders to pray for them: “Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.” (James 5:14-15; KJV) Miracles are sometimes ministered through the gifts of the Holy Spirit mentioned in 1 Corinthians chapter 12. Verses 9 and 10 specifically speak of “gifts of healing” and “the working of miracles.” Another method is seen in the book of Acts where Paul prayed over handkerchiefs that were given to sick people. When applied to their bodies, the anointing that had gone into the handkerchief went into them and they were healed. “And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.” (Acts 19:11-12; KJV) Miracles can also be received directly from Holy Spirit, with no one involved other than the recipient. “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” (Mark 11:23-24; KJV) Miracles can be released simply through speaking God’s word in faith. “He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions,” (Psalm 107:20; KJV). “The centurion answered and said, ‘Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.’ And Jesus said unto the centurion, ‘Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee.’ And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.” (Matthew 8:8, 13) I encourage all believers to begin stepping out in faith and asking for healings and miracles. Pray for family members, coworkers (with their permission, of course, and at an appropriate place and time), friends, and others. People need not be believers in order to receive a miracle. One of the stated purposes for miracles in Mark 16 and throughout the book of Acts is to provide “signs and wonders.” Let’s not allow the reason for failing to receive a miracle be that we did not ask for it: “…ye have not, because ye ask not,” (James 4:2; KJV). Although we will not see or experience a miracle every time we pray for someone, I assure you that healings and miracles are beginning to multiply. Allow your faith to be stretched – ask. It Is Time In Acts chapter 3, Peter prayed for a man who had been born lame. He was over 40 years old. It was a horrible and sad condition. As a young boy, his family placed him at one of the temple gates named “Beautiful,” where he daily begged for alms (Acts 3:2). Because of the gate’s location, Jesus had to have passed by this man dozens – if not hundreds – of times without healing him. Yet on this day, Peter was led by Holy Spirit to do so. Interestingly, the Greek word translated “beautiful” in this verse does not mean beauty in the sense of attractiveness. It means “right time” (horaios). The concept of beauty in the word stems from events coming together in the right way, at the right time, and thereby creating something beautiful. It was “The Right Time” gate. Think about the “beauty” of this. Holy Spirit orchestrated the naming of this gate – “The Right Time;” He made certain that the lame man’s family chose this as his place to daily sit and beg; and He led Jesus not to perform the miracle, saving it for just “the right time.” The early church needed a miracle, a sign and wonder of incredible proportions to verify throughout Jerusalem and all of Israel that Jesus was, indeed, the Messiah, and that He rose from the dead. All of Israel knew of this man, and they knew that the astounding miracle had taken place in the name of Jesus. He was the Messiah, and He was alive! Many believe we have entered a “right time” season of the miraculous. I am one of them. I encourage you to believe for your healing, and for the healing of others. And please join your faith with us that people will be healed tonight, and that gifts of healing will be released throughout the Earth for ongoing healing and miracles. Pray with me: Father, You are omnipotent, all-powerful. Jesus is the Lord, our Healer. He bore our punishment for the curse of sin and sickness. We thank You, Father, for sending Him to do so; and Jesus, we thank You for paying this price. We ask You now for great manifestations of this redemption to be released into the earth. We ask for signs, wonders, and miracles to occur in the name of Jesus. We also ask for deliverances to take place, that those who are bound by drugs, habits, confusion, and other types of strongholds would be delivered by Your mighty power. Awaken in the church the spirit of revelation to produce greater faith in Your redeeming work. Bring a fresh revelation of the power of the blood of Jesus to forgive, heal and deliver. The 1960s and early 1970s were tumultuous times. The world was wrestling with war, social upheaval, and a deep sense of disillusionment. But God planned to use the disillusionment and hunger. In the midst of this spiritual darkness, a divine light was about to dawn. In His mercy, God was about to impact a generation hungry for truth—desperate for salvation—ready to encounter the living Christ. The Birth of a Movement The Jesus People movement burst forth in the late 1960s and early 1970s, beginning in California but quickly spreading across the nation and around the world. It was characterized by young people who encountered Jesus Christ and experienced radical life transformation. These were not just casual converts; they were a generation of worshippers set ablaze with divine fire, eager to share the Gospel with passion and authenticity. At the heart of this movement was a simple yet profound truth: Jesus Christ is Lord, Savior, and King. The streets, campuses, and hippie communes became the battlegrounds of revival. The Jesus People were known for their love, their radical devotion, and their willingness to live out their faith boldly in every sphere of life. The movement was largely grassroots; however, leaders and moments helped propel it forward. People like Hubert Lindsey, who preached on numerous campuses and led many young people to Christ, Lonnie Frisbee in California, Chuck Smith of Calvary Chapel, and many others became prophetic voices, leading young believers into encounters with the Holy Spirit. The “Jesus Festivals,” street evangelism, and house church gatherings became common expressions of this revival. Explo ’72, held June 12-17, 1972, at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas, was widely regarded as the apex of the movement, drawing a massive crowd and receiving extensive media attention. Organized by Campus Crusade for Christ, its purpose was to train high school and college students in evangelism. Initially called the “International Student Congress on Evangelism,” it was billed as Explo ’72 and became the largest youth evangelism training conference in church history. Estimates range as high as 200,000 attendees. It was known as “The Christian Woodstock”, with notable participants such as Billy Graham, Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Love Song, Larry Norman, Andrae Crouch, and more. This, and other such gatherings, demonstrated that God was doing something unprecedented—His Spirit was pouring out upon a generation that was seeking truth.(1) The Power of the Holy Spirit Central to the Jesus People movement was an emphasis on the Holy Spirit’s empowerment. Many young believers experienced the baptism in the Spirit, speaking in tongues, and divine healings. The movement was characterized by an openness to the supernatural, a hunger for the gifts of the Spirit, and a desire to see lives radically transformed by the power of God. But be assured that this Spirit-led revival was not just about emotionalism; it was about encounters with the living Christ—personal, transforming, and revolutionary. It was about awakening a sleeping church and igniting a new wave of disciples who would carry the Gospel into every corner of society. The Jesus People movement made a significant cultural impact. It challenged the church to become more relevant and engage with the lost and hurting. It sparked a fresh emphasis on worship, evangelism, prayer, and holiness. Many of the leaders emerging from this movement went on to influence church planting, missions, and revival across the globe. Moreover, the movement fueled its counterpart, the charismatic renewal, opening the door for a renewed emphasis on the Holy Spirit’s gifts and power within the body of Christ around the world. Only God could have caused such a phenomenon. It was not merely human effort or cultural rebellion; it was divine orchestration—God’s mercy pouring out upon a generation in desperate need. And the Jesus People movement was a sign, a foretaste, of what God desires to do in our day—the coming of a fresh, sovereign outpouring of His Spirit. In the words of Joel 2:28, “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh.” The Spirit of revival is stirring again. The same Spirit that moved in the 1970s is calling us to rise up, to pray, to evangelize, and to seek His face with renewed fervor. As we reflect on this historic movement, let’s remember that the Lord is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). His purposes are unchanging. He is faithful to awaken the sleeping church and to raise up a new generation of radical followers of Christ. The Jesus People movement was a divine catalyst—a reminder that no one is beyond salvation, that God specializes in transforming the broken, the lost, and the hopeless. It was a prophetic reminder that revival begins in the hearts of ordinary people who yield to the extraordinary power of the Holy Spirit. I encourage you to prepare your heart for another, greater movement. Allow the Holy Spirit to ignite a fresh fire within you. Prepare to reach out to our communities, to see people saved, and to see the church awakened to her divine calling. Let us renew our commitment to pray, to seek God with all our hearts, and to be His vessels for this revival. Holy Spirit is being poured out once again. The harvest is plentiful, and the fields are white unto harvest (John 4:35). The Lord is looking for willing instruments - people like you and me - who will say, “Yes, Lord, use me.” In Conclusion The Jesus People movement of the 1970s was more than a historical event; it was a divine awakening—a spiritual revival that transformed lives, churches, and cultures. It was a sign of God’s grace and power breaking into a generation in desperate need. Today, we stand on the shoulders of those early revivalists, called to carry the flame of revival forward. Let’s embrace the challenge and be bold in our faith. And let us believe that the best days are still ahead! The Spirit of revival is alive—ready to fall afresh upon us, our nation, and the nations. Let us prepare our hearts and step into the fullness of what God has for us, knowing that His purposes will prevail. The Lord reigns. His Spirit is moving. Revival is here..! Pray with me: Father, as we reflect on what You did in the 60s and 70s with the youth of America, we marvel at Your ability to orchestrate, initiate, and coordinate outpourings of Your Spirit. We thank You for the great revivals of the past, but we know they are to lead us to more and greater revivals. You are always in increasing and expanding Your unstoppable Kingdom. As You promised, You are now moving among the youth of America. Thousands are turning to You, being baptized, attending worship gatherings, and falling in love with Jesus. But not only are You moving among the youth, You are also moving in our nation’s capital, exposing corruption and restoring prayer to the White House, Congress, and many other government agencies. We ask for all of this to continue and increase. Cause the harvest to multiply exponentially, and hunger for You to become insatiable. Increase levels of power and the gifts of Your Spirit, causing signs and wonders to take place throughout the earth. Raise up thousands of anointed evangelists, filled with Your Spirit and holy fire. Here is a portion of the dream. (You can find the entire dream at the end of today’s post.) “I dreamed I was sitting at an outdoor table, having dinner with some pastors and church leaders…As we were eating and talking, something came down from the sky, tightly gripped my shoulders, lifted me up, and began carrying me to another location. I wasn’t scared or startled by this. It felt important, and I knew I needed to be alert and attentive. “It carried me to what looked like the Hoover Dam. As I hovered over this location, I looked down and could see people walking around at the base of the dam. They were dressed in solid black jumpsuits, and each of them held a black AK-47 and had a weapon strapped to their leg. Covering their heads was a rubber mask that looked like the head of a growling gray wolf. [Wolves symbolize a range of qualities. Different cultures hold varying interpretations, with some viewing wolves as symbols of danger or evil, as in the phrase “lone wolf,” used to refer to terrorists.] “Next to them, I noticed a large wooden barrel, like a wooden slat wine barrel. I somehow knew this barrel was a large “powder keg” filled with very potent explosives. I also knew it had been set to detonate. “On top of the dam, I could see more people walking around. However, I knew these people were intercessors, and they were there on assignment, praying specifically over the dams and the waterways. “As I was hovering above the scene, I suddenly saw a huge white sheet come floating down. The sheet covered the wooden barrel filled with explosives just as it was detonated. Though powerful and very loud, the explosion was held within the sheet, and no damage was done. I looked around, and the people in the black jumpsuits were gone. The intercessors continued to pray, unmoved and unshaken by the blast. I’m not sure they were even aware it had happened.” Dutch’s Comments The dream continued, and Gina was carried to several more locations where the same scenario was observed: masked people dressed in black, carrying weapons, the barrel of explosives, intercessors, and a white sheet protecting the places and people from the blasts. The other locations where she was carried included a subway transit station, a large church building, an electrical power station, a train station, and a port/shipping yard. After being taken to each of these places and observing the scenes, Gina was returned to dinner with the leaders. She concludes her account of the dream by saying: “One of the leaders asked, ‘Where did you go?’ “I said, ‘I have seen things that we need to know. Intercessors are alert, positioned, and doing their part; their prayers are working! We need to know what is happening! Intercessors and angels are on assignment, covering the nations, but we need to be alert about what is happening.’ “I then looked at one of the leaders and said, ‘We need to tell Dutch and Ceci what is happening!’ “Then in the dream, Chuck Pierce walked up beside me, and stated, ‘The Lord let you see what is happening, and this is how it will be. No weapon formed will prosper . . . IF we’ll pray. And no weapon yet to be formed will prosper . . . IF we’ll pray.’ “I said, ‘We are praying.’ “Chuck replied, ‘Then, no weapon formed will prosper, and no weapon yet to be formed will prosper.’ (End of dream.) The meaning of the dream is clear, and I’m sure the part about telling Ceci and me was so that we could inform you. The Lord wants to encourage intercessors that what they have prayed is accomplishing its goal. Prayer “coverings” are in place. Attacks meant to steal, kill, and destroy are being thwarted through our appeals to heaven. Well done! He is also saying that we must continue to be diligent in praying, sustaining the prayer coverings we have created. What is built by prayer must be sustained by prayer. Chuck’s word is significant: “No weapon formed will prosper, and no weapon YET TO BE FORMED will prosper… if we pray” (referring to Isaiah 54:17). We have…and we will. Central to this narrative are the miraculous signs and wonders performed by believers, which served as both confirmation of their divine mission and catalysts for the growth of the church. Acts 4:33 stands as a profound declaration of their experience of divine power: “And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all” (KJV). This verse encapsulates two key forces: the “great power” exercised by the apostles and the “great grace” bestowed upon them. “Great” is the Greek word “megás”(1) and is the root of the English word “mega,” denoting something immense, powerful, or grand in scale. Its use in this context highlights that the church’s witness was beyond natural abilities, marked by an overwhelming, divine quality that set it apart from human efforts. It underscores the magnitude of God’s presence working through them, transforming their words and actions into signs of divine authority. The Context of Acts 4:33 Acts 4 occurs shortly after Peter and John performed an extraordinary miracle, healing a lame man at the temple gate, Beautiful (Acts 3:1-10). Their subsequent bold proclamation of Jesus’ resurrection enraged the religious authorities, leading to their arrest. The apostles were commanded to cease preaching, but they and other believers responded by praying for boldness. The place where they were gathered was literally shaken by Holy Spirit, encouraging them to continue speaking God’s Word with “boldness” (Acts 4:31). It is within this context that Acts 4:33 emphasizes the extraordinary power and grace that characterized the witness of the early church to Christ’s resurrection. We must experience no less if we are to demonstrate to the world today that Christ is alive and the gospel is true. Let’s pray. Pray with me: Father, I am very grateful for the army of intercessors You have raised up around the world. There are thousands in America, and millions around the world. The church is growing in her understanding that we are partners with You in the great cause of Christ. Thank You for their sacrifices, their commitment, their unselfish hearts, and their passion for Your cause. I ask You now to give them tenacity, perseverance, and great discernment as they stay the course, never wavering. I pray that You will lead them in their prayers, and that every location they should visit during this time will be visited. I am reminded that as we “painted” the borders of our nation, some who could not physically go to places and pray, unfolded maps and anointed them with oil, praying in their homes for Your protection. Again, bless these faithful ones, and orchestrate all prayers that are needed now. Our table was located on a patio outside. It was at dusk, and there were stringed lights above us—just a very relaxed atmosphere. “All of a sudden, as we were eating and talking, something came down from the sky, tightly gripped my shoulders, and lifted me up. I could feel and hear the swishing of wind being created by what sounded like giant wings flapping. I am not sure what it was that had hold of me, but whatever it was, it lifted me and began to carry me to another location. I wasn’t scared or startled by this. I was still being held by the shoulders and was hovering over this location. I looked down, and I could see people walking around at the base of the dam. They each also had a weapon inside a holster strapped to their leg. It was very busy at this location as hundreds of people were there, rushing around. Here in this location, the same thing that happened at the dam was happening here. I saw those same people in the black jumpsuits, with the AK-47s, and I could see a large wooden barrel that I knew was filled with explosives. I could see intercessors walking around, praying over our rail systems in America. I then saw a white sheet dropping down just as the explosives were detonated, but again, the explosion did not do any damage. It was loud and startling, but the blast was contained under the sheet. And the same thing happened here, as at the dam, the people in the black jumpsuits were then gone, but the intercessors remained unshaken and undeterred by the blast. “As I was being carried from there to another location, in my mind (in this dream), I thought, ‘I had another dream one time about a white sheet being dropped in various locations throughout America. I wonder if this has something to do with that?’ I began to think deeply, trying to remember what that other dream had been about, and I said, out loud (in this dream), ‘Those sheets had something to do with decrees being made. There was a word written on each sheet, and I remember that one of them had the word ‘SAVED’ written on it.’ “Then, whatever was lifting and carrying me stopped, and I was hovering over another location. This time, I had been brought to a very large church building. High above the location, I could see that the parking lots were filled with vehicles, so I knew there were probably thousands of people inside the building. Outside, I could see that those people dressed in black jumpsuits with rubber wolf masks on their heads were walking around with AK-47s in their hands. It was as if they were patrolling the site, waiting to sacrifice their own lives as martyrs for their cause. In this location, there were two huge barrels, ‘powder kegs.’ One was situated on the front right corner of the building, and the other was placed on the left back corner of the building. “At this location, I knew the intercessors were inside the building. I somehow knew they were not just having a regular “church meeting,” but these people were in deep intercessory prayer, releasing with faith and authority prayers for and Spirit-led decrees over the Body of Christ in America and around the world. “The same thing happened here as it had at the other locations: a large, white sheet fell, but this time, it covered the whole church, instead of just the large, explosive kegs. The kegs were detonated, the blast was loud and powerful, but there was no damage. The people in the black jumpsuits were gone, but the intercessors remained in their position and engaged in their prayers and decrees. “Then I began to be carried away from that scene. As I was moving, I remembered the other dream about the sheets being dropped in various locations throughout America, and I thought, ‘One of those sheets in that dream fell over a large church. I remember seeing the outline of a steeple when it fell.’ “I was lifted and carried to three more locations in this dream: an electrical power station, a train station, and a port, a shipping yard, in which I could see ships and 18-wheelers being loaded and unloaded. I could see thousands of shipping containers stacked everywhere. The exact same things happened at each of these locations as had happened at the other locations: the people in the black jumpsuits patrolling, the intercessors praying, the large ‘powder keg’ set to detonate, the large sheet falling, and the blasts being contained, being unsuccessful in their mission. The people in the black jumpsuits left, the intercessors remained. “Then, whatever it was that was carrying me, took me back to my original location and sat me back down in my seat at the table where I was having dinner with those pastors and church leaders. I don’t know who all of the pastors and leaders were, but one of them looked at me and asked, ‘Where did you go?’ “I said, ‘I have seen things that we need to know. Intercessors are alert, they are positioned, they are doing their part, and their prayers are working!’ “I continued, ‘We need to know what is happening! Intercessors and angels are on assignment, covering the nations, but we need to be alert about what is happening.’ “I then looked at one of the leaders, and I said, ‘We need to tell Dutch and Ceci what is happening!’ “Then, Chuck Pierce walked up beside me and said, ‘The Lord let you see what is happening, and this is how it will be. No weapon formed will prosper… IF we’ll pray. And no weapon yet to be formed will prosper… IF we’ll pray.’ “I replied, ‘We are praying.’ “Chuck said, ‘Then, no weapon formed will prosper, and no weapon yet to be formed will prosper.’” End of dream.
  22. https://www.givehim15.com/post/june-24-2025 June 24, 2025 Order Into Chaos, Light Into Darkness We are told that when God began creating in Genesis, the earth was formless (tohuw),(1) empty (bohuw),(2) and darkness covered the earth (Genesis 1:2). As well as formless, and empty, these two words have a broad range of meanings, including “desolation, desert, barren, confusion, and even chaos.”(3) How did God transform the chaos, confusion, barrenness, etc? With His words: “Then God said…” (verse 3). The word “said” is amar(4) in Hebrew, and can mean more than just “saying” or “announcing”; it can also mean “to say in one’s heart; to think; to imagine.” Zodhiates used the phrase “internal speech”(5) as one of its meanings. God began by seeing or imagining what He wanted – internal speech, then created this with His words – external speech. As simple as it sounds, the first step in dealing with spiritual darkness and chaos is to determine or discern what God is thinking. What is His will in this situation? What does He intend to do? Laws of sowing and reaping, the free will of man, God’s wisdom regarding timing, these can all play a part in determining His actions. The answers to these questions always begin with Scripture – biblical principles – but also must include being led by Holy Spirit (Romans 8:14), His revelation. Once God’s thoughts or will is known, His strategy can be received and implemented. This may be fasting, agreement in prayer, prolonged intercession, Spirit-led declarations, etc., or even prophetic acts such as, “go wash your eyes in the pool of Siloam” (John 9:7). The sons of Issachar demonstrated this. They “understood the times, with knowledge of what Israel should do” (1 Chronicles 12:32). The word “understood” is biyn,(6) which includes both wisdom – understanding gained from learning and experience, and revelation – that which Holy Spirit reveals in the present. Because of this unique blend, these Issachar leaders could discern the general times and seasons, God’s strategic timing, and what to do in light of that time. Wisdom and revelation combine to give us God’s “what, when, and how.” This is why the Scriptures say in Ephesians 1:17 that we need a spirit of wisdom AND revelation. This combination is also what Solomon possessed. We think of him as having wisdom, but Solomon asked for and was given biyn (1 Kings 3:9), which again, encompasses wisdom and revelation. The margin of my NAS Bible says he asked, not just for wisdom, but for “a hearing heart.” This is also what Daniel possessed (Daniel 9:22-23). In verse 22, the angel Gabriel said, “I have now come forth to give you insight with understanding (biyn)” (NASB). What a phrase – insight with understanding! That is the starting point in transforming chaos into order, barrenness into fruitfulness, and darkness into light! One of the spiritual gifts listed in 1 Corinthians 12:28 sheds light on this. The Greek word is antilepsis(7), usually translated as “helps.” The word comes from antilambanomai,(8) meaning “to lay hold of.” We “help” another by “taking hold” of an object or situation along with them. The Passion Translation, however, gives added insight to the word. It translates the word as “gifts of revelation knowledge.” This leapt off the page at me! In their margin note they inform us that the word means not only to lay hold of in a physical sense, but also appreheanding, perceiving, laying hold of revelation! God “helps” us by giving us His thoughts – revelation. We assist one another by sharing this revelation, “helping” them hear what God is saying. Once we know His thoughts, His will, we can receive His strategy. Part of that strategy will almost always involve declaring what He has said, which is the second step in overcoming chaos and darkness. Saying What He Says When we know what God’s will is, from His Word and by His Spirit, we can then say what He says. Remember, that’s how God dealt with the chaos in Genesis: He thought, imagined, conceived; then He spoke. When He speaks, His words have creative power. Why? Because HE AND HIS WORD ARE ONE! “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1). His words are filled with unlimited power because they flow from the very essence of who He is, releasing His breath, life, nature, and power (also see John 6:63). Which brings us back to Genesis. A footnote in the Passion Translation regarding Genesis 1:3 states, “God created light but did not create the sun until the fourth day. God Himself filled the universe with the light of His presence and glory.”(9) Incredible! The footnote continues, saying that “The Hebrew verbs used with the phrases ‘Let there be’ and ‘and there was’ are both related to the holy name Yahweh: yehi (“let there be”) and wayhi (“and there was”).” As Yahweh spoke, His creative power flowed FROM HIM into the universe. The I AM, who is light, released His nature with the words “Light BE!” and light BECAME! Truly, there is no one like our God! And here is the staggering application for us. As His body, Christ intends for us to represent Him, releasing His words, in order to transform chaos into order and darkness into light. The New Testament word used to describe God’s creation of all things is ginomai (John 1:1-5; Hebrews 11:3). The word essentially means, “cause to be or become.”(10) Amazingly, this same word is also used in Christ’s teaching on how we should pray (Matthew 6:10). In the phrase, “Thy will be done,” the two words “be done” are translated from this single Greek word, ginomai. The tense of the verb (aorist imperative) indicates a command. Simply stated, Christ said we are to command or declare His will to be, to become, to be created in situations. Selah. Let’s do so now. Pray with me: Lord, we are in chaotic and dark times, as Genesis 1 references the earth at creation. Just as You thought, imagined, and declared Your will then, we know You have plans for the earth today. From Your Word, we are confident what some of those plans include: we know Your will is that no one dies in a spiritually lost condition; we know You have a great harvest planned throughout all the earth; we know the Father has promised You the nations of Earth – they all belong to You; we know You’re building an Ekklesia that the plans of hell cannot overcome; and we know we can declare the release of Your Kingdom authority, and the manifestation of Your will. We align with Your will and declare a worldwide harvest. We call forth a revival of such proportions that a billion or more people will come to Yeshua. We decree the salvation and restoration of America, including a transformed government. We call forth a youth revival in America and around the world that will result in millions of young people coming to Christ. We decree the breaking of Baal’s stronghold over America. We call forth the fire of Holy Spirit and renewed passion into America’s churches. Father, we declare these things in Christ’s name and authority alone. We humbly acknowledge that we have no other authority to do so, and that His will is what You honor. Of Him, to Him, and through Him are all things. And we acknowledge that Yours is the Kingdom and power and glory forever. We want You alone to be honored in all we do. Amen.   23. https://www.givehim15.com/post/june-23-2025 June 23, 2025 Peace Through Strength - My Response to the Strike on Iran As you no doubt know, Saturday night (the early morning hours of Sunday in Iran), the US conducted one of the most impressive military operations in the history of the world: Operation Midnight Hammer. In its largest B-2 operation/strike in history, America obliterated three of Iran’s nuclear development sites. The operation was extensive: 125 military aircraft, including fighter jets, refueling planes, Stealth B-2s, reconnaissance planes; naval vessels, including a submarine, and undoubtedly thousands of personnel. Seventy-five (75) precision-guided weapons, 24 Tomahawk missiles, and 14 Bunker-Buster bombs were deployed in the strike…that we know of. Who knows what other equipment and weapons were used that our military does not want to divulge? The level of expertise and precision was unprecedented. We are told that the planning had been underway for weeks in the possibility that it would be needed. Trump gave the leaders of Iran weeks, actually over two months, to come to the table and agree to give up the development of their nuclear weapons. He practically begged them to do so, warning them that – one way or the other – they would not be allowed to have nuclear weapons. It was obvious he did not want to do this strike. But President Trump is strong, decisive, fearless, and resolute. When he says something, he means it. He did not create this problem – former Presidents Obama, Biden, and other leaders allowed it to evolve, even giving Iran billions of dollars, which was no doubt used to produce this nuclear program. However, President Trump, his team, and Israel knew that with Iran only weeks away from the bomb, they had to take action. Trump and his team have reiterated over and over that we are not at war with Iran and its people; we are at war with terrorism, led by the Ayatollah and his radicals, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, and their proxies. Indeed, the strikes were carried out with no attacks against the Iranian people, whatsoever. Secretary of State Marco Rubio accurately stated that Iran has “played” the world for over 40 years, hiding behind diplomacy while implementing death and destruction, chanting “death to America” and promising to annihilate Israel. They have backed up this rhetoric with hundreds of terrorist attacks through the years, generating thousands of deaths, torture, rape, and other acts of terror. Who, in their right mind, would argue for inaction, allowing these lunatics to have a nuclear weapon?! Someone needed to cut off the head of this serpent. Many believers have been praying Scripture from Jeremiah 49:34-39. It speaks of God’s judgment against Elam, which was in ancient Persia/modern-day Iran. I am including all of these verses for you and will read just a couple of them: “That which came as the word of the Lord to Jeremiah the prophet concerning Elam, at the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying: ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, “Behold, I am going to break the bow of Elam, the finest of their might. I will bring upon Elam the four winds, from the four ends of heaven, and will scatter them to all these winds; and there will be no nation to which the outcasts of Elam will not go. So I will shatter Elam before their enemies and before those who seek their lives; and I will bring calamity upon them, even My fierce anger,” declares the Lord, “and I will send out the sword after them until I have consumed them. Then I will set My throne in Elam and destroy out of it king and princes,” declares the Lord. “But it will come about in the last days that I will restore the fortunes of Elam,” declares the Lord.’” (Jeremiah 49:34-39 NASB) Notice this passage concludes with God restoring the fortunes of Elam. Christians have not only been praying for the destruction of evil in Iran, but also for the protection and liberation of the Iranian people. Most Iranians do not support the evil regime that has been ruling them for the past 46 years. What happens now? Will the Iranian government stop its efforts to oppress its people and terrorize the region? I don’t think they will do so willingly; this will have to be accomplished another way. The leaders are so controlled by demonic entities and hate-filled ideologies that they would rather die than give up their cause. Perhaps the Iranian people themselves will rise up and overthrow the regime. Maybe Israel will have to do so. I don’t know how this will happen. I do know what is coming spiritually. I have been saying for months that God was going to remove the stronghold of “the prince of Persia” (Daniel 10) in the Middle East. I have actually been prophesying for many years that in the coming revival, regions of the world that have been under the control of demonic principalities for millennia would be delivered from this control and experience great revival. We are entering this time, and what is happening in Iran is part of this process. God loves the people of Iran, as He does all people, and millions of them will come to Christ. Be assured, God is involved in this war. It is no coincidence that on the Jewish calendar, this past Thursday night and Friday was the 23rd of Sivan. This was the very day in history when Mordecai drafted a royal decree giving Jews the license to defend themselves from the “prince of Persia” by killing all who desired to kill them under Haman (Esther 8:9). The decree was dispatched to all 127 provinces of Persia/Iran. It isn’t remotely possible that this is a coincidence. We must now be very vigilant to pray against retaliation in the form of terrorist sleeper cells here in America and elsewhere. Only the Lord knows how many of the two million “gottaways” that crossed America’s open borders under the Biden presidency were terrorists. Our government is confident that several were. I cannot stress enough the importance of sustaining prayer for protection from these terrorists. We have obeyed all God’s instructions to secure our borders, dams, waterways, etc., in prayer. Let’s finish well. Pray for the Lord’s protection for our nation and Israel every day. Pray with me: Father, though demons and rulers rage against You and Your Son Jesus, their fate is certain and Your plans are secure. You declared Jesus to be King and Ruler over the nations. He will have His inheritance (Psalm 2). Just as Haman of Persia/Iran, under the control of the “prince of Persia,” failed in his efforts to destroy the Jews in Esther’s day (book of Esther); just as this spirit failed in his efforts to stop the restoration of Israel in Daniel‘s day (Daniel 10); so will he fail today! This defeat will be perhaps his greatest, as the spoils reaped by You will be millions of souls. We thank You for raising up President Trump and giving him a team qualified and willing to serve America effectively. Thank You for preserving him from death. As Ambassador Huckabee alluded to, Trump did not choose his role in this era of history; You chose him. Please continue to give wisdom to President Trump and his team, and do the same for Prime Minister Netanyahu and his leaders. Eradicate the influence of “the prince of Persia” who has opposed You in the Middle East for millennia. Use this to bring forth one of the greatest spiritual harvests in history. And we pray against terrorist attacks here in America and elsewhere. Expose individuals in our nation who are here for that purpose, and expose their evil plans. When possible, change their hearts. Give supernatural help to our agencies that seek to discover them. We claim Psalm 91 and all of its promises. The verse that states You will deliver us from the snare of the trapper especially comes to mind (verse 3). We ask for this. We will not fear the terror of the night or the arrow that flies in the day (verse 5), and we will continue to see Your hand work against the wicked (verse 8). All of this, we ask and thank You for in the name of our great King, Yeshua. Amen. We are praying for the defeat of evil, while also praying for mercy and protection to the Iranian and the Israeli people. God’s desire for the region is a great revival, for which I believe a free Iran can be a catalyst. I also feel we must be diligent to pray for protection here in America, as we know many terrorists came into our nation through Biden’s open borders. I believe prayer for this is urgent. We will pray over these things in just a few minutes. However, I also have another very important matter to bring to your attention regarding the fight for life in America. The 1973 Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade did more to open the floodgates of evil in our nation than any other single event. It gave the principality of Baal, with its lust for violence and bloodshed, unprecedented influence in our nation. Personally, I believe the current level of violence and murder in our nation is directly linked to this. Jonah 2:8 tells us what happens when we reject the Lord and turn to idols: “Those who worship false gods turn their backs on all God’s mercies” (New Living Translation). The Living Bible offers the following poignant translation of this verse: “Those who worship false gods have turned their backs on all the mercies waiting for them from the Lord!” When this evil verdict was rendered in 1973, America’s government chose death over life and servitude to Baal over the mercies of God. This heinous ruling was finally overturned on June 24, 2022. The verdict did not eliminate abortion in America, but did remove it as a national law and decree, allowing the states to decide on the issue. Consequently, the fruit of this bloodshed is not visited on the entire nation, but on the states and individuals who participate. Several states have taken strong actions to eliminate abortion, while others fight to preserve this sacrifice of children to Baal and his partner, Molech. We are now being given another strategy with which to further defeat this evil in America. On June 5, Senator Ted Cruz introduced the “Life Month Resolution” on the floor of the U.S. Senate, along with Congressman Chris Smith leading the charge in the House. This resolution is a formal and public declaration that would designate the month of June, the month in which Roe v. Wade was overturned, as Life Month. It has not yet been voted on, nor has a date been set for a vote. You can see the entire resolution here. Senator Cruz says that the resolution would: Designate a “Life Month” annually; Recognize that every human life is a sacred gift from God, possessing inherent dignity and worth; Reaffirm the fundamental truth recognized in the Declaration of Independence that life is an unalienable right; Commend individuals, parents, families, faith-based organizations, and communities who work to promote a culture of life; and Urge policymakers to defend the sanctity of human life by enacting laws that protect the unborn and provide resources to empower women and families to choose life.(1) It is hard to overstate the power of a Holy Spirit-led declaration (Job 22:28). Death and life are indeed in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). One of the ways we release the power of Holy Spirit dwelling within us is through declaring His words. Jesus demonstrated this when he was tempted by satan; He used the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17), stating repeatedly, “It is written…” Imagine the power released if millions of Americans decreed and celebrated “Life!” over America every year throughout the month of June, rather than decreeing pride. It would be more than symbolic; it would be another blow to the diabolical stronghold of death in our nation. How to Take Action We need your help. In Your famous promise, You did NOT say if “sinners” or “unbelievers” would humble themselves and pray… You said if we, Your people, met these and the other qualifications, You would heal our land (2 Chronicles 7:14). And by faith, we now begin calling the month of June “Life Month.” Also, today, we ask for supernatural help in defeating the evil in Iran. Remove wicked and oppressive rulers there, and free the people to live lives of liberty and justice. Send an earthshaking revival to that nation and cause it to spread to all of the Middle East. Turn the tables on the principality You referred to as “the prince of Persia” (Daniel 10:13, 20). You did so in Persia when Haman tried to resist You and destroy the Jews (the Book of Esther), and again in Daniel’s day when this spirit endeavored to stop the restoration of Israel (Daniel 10). Now we ask You to do it again. We ask for a complete dismantling of this principality’s rule and influence in the region. As Your voice on earth, we declare the people of Iran to be free from his control, in the name of Jesus. We also ask for protection here in America. We know that individuals with evil intent entered our nation when the borders were open. We ask You to expose them, along with every plan they have developed to harm our nation and its citizens. Give great skill and supernatural help to those responsible for discovering those plans. We ask all of these things in Jesus’ name. Amen. She reminds us to stay focused and keep what God has promised in the forefront of our thinking. He will keep His word. The title of her message is: Promises Made, Promises Kept Many within the Ekklesia are hearing the Lord say, “Don’t forget what I have said.” This is a powerful instruction for the Body of Christ. Some may look at the volatility in the atmosphere of our nation and world today and wrongly determine that things have fallen into irreversible chaos. The suggestions of those in the media and Hollywood paint a bleak picture, and the unfolding upheaval seems to validate their assessment. But God said that America shall be saved, and through prophetic words, dreams, and revelation, He has declared that we will experience another greater move of His Spirit in our times. We must believe and hold fast to what He has said. We cannot judge the validity of God’s Word and promises based on how things appear around us. What God has said is true. His verdict stands. He speaks with intent to perform His will in His time and in His way. We must not allow ourselves to be rattled, influenced, or distracted by what hell is doing! We have to stay focused on the Lord and attentive to Holy Spirit. Be assured that God is NOT reacting to hell’s movements; hell is reacting to God’s movement! The chaos unfolding is not a sign that evil is prevailing; it is proof that God is moving, and hell is terrified! As the Ekklesia, the Body of Christ, it is imperative that we remember and hold fast to what God has said! Trust Him. Remain focused on Him. Stay engaged in prayer and undaunted faith, and proceed with the mind of Christ, the wisdom of God, and Holy Spirit’s guidance and supervision! God knows the end from the beginning. He is not operating from a modified script, writing it in response to the actions of people influenced by an evil agenda. God is working His plan of the ages that has been known and designed by Him from the foundation of the world. Though satan may rage, plan, plot, and scheme in an effort to overthrow and undo God’s plan, we are assured that victory belongs to Jesus! His victory has become our victory, and evil will not rewrite his-story. History is His-story. A remnant company has remained obedient even in times of uncertainty and chaos. We have chosen to stay the course, believe in the Lord, hear and respond to His leading. Through it all, we have not been wasting time; we have been investing it. I heard the Lord say, “Your past obedience has led you to this moment and has created supply for your future. This is the time to go beyond. The glory on the path ahead is the fruit of past obedience now ready to be reaped. Past obedience has cast seeds ahead that have now blossomed into a harvest of supply. This will enable you to now advance with My purposes.” Every act of obedience to Holy Spirit has mattered, creating access points for Him to enter our nation and appropriate His will. By His prompting and leading we anointed our borders and, in response, He anchored our nation to His original foreword. We buried arrowheads, and in response, He set things into motion to “spearhead another greater move” of His Spirit in our time. We prayed over our dams, power grids, and waterways, and in response, the Commander of the hosts of Heaven has sent angels on assignment, and they excel in strength to fulfill Yahweh’s purposes. We released a united shout, and in response, God is causing evil agendas to shatter and dismantle. Necessary actions have been and are being done. God’s plan is pushing forward. Our labor in the Lord has not been in vain. Hell knows we are winning, though they try to convince us that we are falling behind. Through the voices of media personalities and others, evil narratives are desperately being propagated in an attempt to advance a deceptive version of America’s future. But the truth is that God’s original story remains, and He sees what is ahead. His plans for this nation – His Words and His promises – are forever settled. On May 22, 2025, Holy Spirit dropped this statement into my spirit: “There’s a plot twist coming.” Though I understood what the words implied, I still did an online search to find a clear definition. I found this statement: “A plot twist is a surprising turn of events that changes the narrative’s trajectory, that can leave the audience in awe, questioning everything they thought they knew about the story.”(1) I asked the Lord for more understanding, and heard Him say, “There is a twist in the plot that is coming—a plot twist. The story is about to take an unexpected turn. It will be a change that many never saw coming. I am turning things. Some believe their version of the story is written and cannot be changed. They gloat in their misguided belief that their agenda is secured, but the twist is coming…. The plot is about to change.” In a quick vision, I once saw a page in a book being turned to the beginning of a new chapter. The next page looked blank, but suddenly words began to appear. I then heard the Lord say, “There’s another part of the story I have written that you know not of. I know the story! I wrote the story, and now what I have determined will come into view.” Hell is not writing the story; God wrote the story. He knows how everything will turn out. He knows what is coming next. He’s the Author, and He has also committed Himself to be the Finisher of the story! He is declaring to His Ekklesia, “I have not forgotten what I’ve said. I haven’t forgotten My promises. Don’t you forget what I said. Don’t you forget My promises. Trust Me. Not one word that I have spoken will fail!” Pray with me: Father, You sit in the heavens and laugh as nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing (Psalm 2). From the foundations of the world, You have known and established Your plan of the ages. You are the Author of the story, and You know the end from the beginning. Though some may gloat and believe that their perverted version of America’s future is written and cannot be changed, the next chapter of the story YOU have written and declared is coming into view. The plot twist is about to be revealed, and the trajectory of their misguided narrative will be turned as it is confronted by the undeniable revelation of Your truth. You have the final say! As Your Ekklesia, Lord, we have obeyed and followed You into this “next chapter” of the story, and we continue to hold fast to Your covenantal promises. We look to You with confident expectation that all You have written and spoken will be fulfilled. Not one word You have spoken will fail, nor any promises be broken! You are the Author of the story, and will finish what You have started. Strengthen the intercessors. You said those who wait on You will run and not grow weary, walk and not faint. You said they will rise like eagles above the storm (Isaiah 40:31). You said we would go from strength to strength (Psalm 84:7). We receive this supernatural strength now, and receive the grace and glory You also promised in this Psalm (Psalm 84:11). All of this we pray in Yeshua’s name. Amen.
