Holy Spirit gave my brother Tim Sheets a word regarding this. We have titled it: It’s Time For The Blitz The movie “Braveheart,” depicts the story of William Wallace. There is a scene in which he rides before Scottish troops, challenging them with the following statement, “I am William Wallace, and I see a whole army of my countrymen, here, in defiance of Tyranny. You’ve come to fight as free men, and free men you are. What will you do without freedom? Will you fight? Aye. Fight and you may die. Run, and you’ll live…at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days, from this day to that, for one chance–just one chance–to come back here and tell your enemies that they may take our lives, but they’ll never take our freedom!”(1) We are advancing into a supernatural era of the church, even as we navigate a fierce season of spiritual war. This will be a time of notable miracles, signs, wonders and great harvest, but also a season in which we’ll have to fight spiritually for our rightful inheritance as the heirs of Christ. Since President Trump’s election, some have been saying “There’s a new sheriff in town.” I believe it’s time to declare something even greater, “There’s a new church in town.” Ekklesias have been engaged and are showing boldness, strength, and unwavering faith. We have been prepared and empowered by the Holy Spirit to win great battles. Those who know their God will stand strong in Him and fight back against hell’s evil agenda. I was recently reminded by Holy Spirit of a word He spoke to me three years ago: “It’s time for the blitz push of My Kingdom Ekklesia.” The definition of “blitz” is a sudden, energetic and concerted effort to accomplish a specific purpose; a push to complete a cause; an intense, sudden military attack. A blitz is intended to disorient an enemy.(2) “Blitzkrieg” is a German term referring to an intense warfare campaign designed to bring about swift victories. It is also a method of warfare known as “lightning war.” A blitzkrieg is a surprise attack using a rapid movement of overwhelming force to break through an opponent’s line of defense. It is a sudden strike designed to disorient and dislocate enemy defenders, unbalancing them to provide an opening for quick victories. It can involve multiple battlefronts.(3) Holy Spirit is stirring the Ekklesia to carry out God’s battle plans, changing things on earth and setting captives free. There are spiritual battles on the horizon that we must fight and win. Holy Spirit has trained, equipped and prepared us for the greatest advance of His Kingdom. Holy Spirit gave me the following word regarding this: ******* “I will move through My Ekklesia hubs and My triumphant remnant in sudden, energetic, concerted efforts to accomplish My plans for the season. I will lead My remnant warriors, implementing lightning warfare. I will lead you to strike like lightning. My Kingdom will now move rapidly with overwhelming force. Rapid strikes will break through enemy defenses, disorienting and dislocating them. Swift victories are on the calendar. I will call you to sudden advances, throwing hell’s kingdom completely out of balance, interrupting their plans and defeating them quickly. My Ekklesias will invade enemy positions suddenly, causing disruptions and scatterings to systems of evil. Multiple surprise moves will be implemented in regions, territories, and nations as My Ekklesia emboldens itself. Hell will not see this coming because their arrogance has blinded them. Their human partners will also not see it coming, as their arrogance, self-righteousness, pride and filth justification has blinded them also. “Swift, strategic maneuvers are being activated through My Ekklesias to scatter lewd pollutions of My identity for male and female. The demon prince of perversion promoting doctrines of transgender will be struck suddenly, repeatedly, and boldly by My powerful advancing Kingdom and My angel armies. Truth will be their shield and buckler. Just as surely as Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed for perverting My identity for men and women, so will the demon doctrines of blind leaders of the blind be defeated. Original intent, truth and identity order will be proclaimed. “Rapid strikes and sudden, energetic, coordinated efforts will now push for Me and My ways. Boardrooms, corporate leaders, and corporate identities will change. Government leaders will change or be changed. Sudden strikes, led by unique leaders I’ve ordained, are now advancing into positions of great authority. My Ekklesia’s voice is rising to sound out My Words. Angels are activating to tear down this stronghold of evil that is polluting a young generation. My enemies, the enemies of My heirs, will become unbalanced. They will stagger in the blitzkrieg of truth and righteousness that is now accelerating. Swift victories and turnarounds will be seen. “For I have a great harvest among those who have been misled and confused by minds occupied by demons. My truth will free them. My truth will reorder real identity, meaning, and purpose; it will rise in them, for My love is set upon them. I will free multitudes from the lie. I have sons and daughters trapped in the confusion and I will redeem them. I have prodigal sons and daughters to free. I have champions whose identity I will restore. I am moving to change battlefronts; activating overwhelming force to accomplish this purpose. I will disorient the confusers. I will now dislocate the positioning of those spreading perversion. Their influence will fade and their voices will fester from the evil infections they created. “I have targeted kingpin positions of great authority who, as Pharaoh of old, have hardened their hearts against Me. My Ekklesia, assisted by My angel armies, will target them in prayer to remove their influence, and to release leaders that will not resist My ways. For the blitz push of My Ekklesia includes concerted, coordinated, fast-moving efforts to remove the influence of evil kingpins. The Lord of Hosts declares to His church: ‘The warfare for earth will now intensify, but you will experience swift turnarounds as you release My authority to regions, states, and nations. Lightning warfare, quick strikes, and rapid responses will occur against evil that once enjoyed passivity’s stupor among My people. The world will now see a different church. A ‘ruling and reigning with Me’ church. A church that strikes like lightning. When hell pushes, they will push back. When culture, government, big tech and education pushes, they will push back. And when demons push them, they will push back.’ ” ******* We are living in a historic, world-shaping time, a hinge of history. Holy Spirit is moving, empowering and resourcing us for this moment, energizing people with tenacious faith. It is time for the Ekklesia of King Jesus to boldly advance. Pray with me: Lord, we ask for the blitzkrieg of the Kingdom of God to be released. Loose Your voice throughout America and across the world. Thank You, God, for the release of angelic assistance and the power of Holy Spirit. Prepare and energize us with another powerful infilling of Holy Spirit; make us bold warriors, engaged against evil. Use us to strike like lightning against the strategies of hell, blinding philosophies, and plans of demons. Bring confusion into Your enemy’s camps. Restore purpose, truth and identity, freeing those bound, setting prodigal sons and daughters free. Give us great discernment, wisdom and understanding of our times. Lead us as we engage in the blitz push of Your Kingdom, striking demonic enemies, defeating their strategies, and setting captives free. We decree that Your Kingdom rule WILL come to earth. Will of God, be done! In Jesus’ name. Amen. March 5, 2025 (EXTRA) My Response to President Trump’s Speech In Matthew 15, Jesus said some things that angered the Pharisees. Verses 12-14 say: “Then came his disciples, and said unto him, ‘Do you know that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?’ But he answered and said, ‘Every plant, which My heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up. Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.’” (Matthew 15:12-14) I have said much over the past four years about God’s intent to expose evil and corruption in our government. Much has occurred to fulfill this: A former president, demented and controlled by puppeteers, hidden by lying politicians and media A corrupt deep state fully controlled by its lust for power Open borders, allowing in violent criminals, terrorists, and drugs that kill hundreds of thousands of Americans every year The indoctrination and mutilation of innocent children Censorship of the American people The theft and waste of hundreds of billions of taxpayers’ dollars Lawfare from our judicial system We could go on and on. I felt more would be exposed in last night‘s speech, and I was right. But it turns out that all President Trump had to do to unmask more evil was show up. The hatred of the Left toward him is so vitriolic that their demons manifested when he entered the room. They demonstrated stunning disrespect: no respect for the office of the presidency; no respect for the dignity of the room they occupied; no respect for their coworkers; no respect for raped and murdered children, kids with cancer, widowed spouses and children, or foster parents. Contrasts in the room were stark: hatred vs compassion, globalism vs patriotism, foolishness vs wisdom and common sense, dishonor vs honor, insensitivity vs empathy, and last but not least, children vs adults. Having lost their voice of reason, the Left resorted to shouting and holding up small protest signs. One had to wonder if they were seeing the Capitol of the United States of America or a daycare. We were certainly seeing demons manifest in some of these “leaders.” These “blind leaders of the blind” preach love but are filled with hate. They preach peace, but promote violence. They preach tolerance, but are intolerant of anyone who disagrees with them. They preach patriotism, but hate America. They preach democracy, but practice bureaucracy and tyranny. They feign intelligence, but have no common sense or reason. According to some newscasters, last night’s speech was President Trump’s best, and I agree. In it, he gave insight into his strategy for leading our nation, and he held nothing back. Seventy six percent (76%) of those watching approved. President Trump has learned a lot in the last ten years. He has grown in character, wisdom, and humility. No, he isn’t flawless, all-wise, and completely humble. Like all of us, the President is still in process, but he has been tempered and matured. And his perspective has changed. Perhaps his most important statement of the night was, “I was saved by God to make America great again.” God has chosen to use this man as our Cyrus. He knows it, and it has sobered him. I conclude with the words of the Psalmist, texted to me by a friend towards the end of the President’s address last night. It speaks of a restoration process that had begun in Israel, and the resulting gladness. America’s restoration, too, has begun. And the prayer toward the end of this passage, as well as the praise, is appropriate for us, as well: “Restore us to our former glory.” I believe this has begun, and will continue. “It was like a dream come true when You freed us from our bondage and brought us back to Zion! We laughed and laughed and overflowed with gladness. We were left shouting for joy and singing Your praise. All the nations saw it and joined in, saying, ‘The Lord has done great miracles for them!’ Yes, He did mighty miracles and we are overjoyed! Now, Lord, do it again! Restore us to our former glory! The person mandated by the American people to restore America–and who has accomplished more in his first six weeks than most presidents do in an entire term–laid out dozens of ideas and strategies, while the Left sulked, pouted, and threw tantrums. We shouldn’t be surprised at their antics. In the past few weeks, as the richest man in the world volunteered his time to expose fraud and save Americans several trillion dollars over the next few years, these same people protested while singing silly songs and accusing him of trying to steal money. House speaker Mike Johnson said of Tuesday night, “The way Democrats behaved was unserious and embarrassing. The contrast between our forward-looking vision and their temper tantrums was on display for all of America to see.”(1) Speaker Johnson also commented on why Trump’s speech may have resonated with the American public (76% of those watching approved of his address)(2) but not with Democratic lawmakers, “President Trump’s speech wasn’t a speech for the mainstream media, it was a speech for the American people.”(3) Indeed. President Trump mentioned his “nearly 100 executive orders and 400 executive actions to restore common sense, safety, optimism, and wealth all across our wonderful land. The people elected me to do the job, and I am doing it.”(4) He spoke of there being only two sexes—male and female—and removing men from women’s sports. While honoring 19-year-old Payton McNabb, who sustained a concussion and brain bleeding after a male spiked a volleyball into her head when she was a senior in high school, he said, “From now on, schools will kick the males off the girls team, or they will lose all federal funding.”(5) The president spoke of removing the bloated, unelected bureaucracy in our government, restoring power to the people and saving untold billions of dollars, and stated firmly that other nations will no longer cheat America. Reciprocal tariffs and actions will begin to all other nations on April 2 of this year. “We’ve been ripped off for decades by nearly every country on earth, and we will not let that happen any longer,” he said.(6) President Trump elaborated on drilling for oil and gas, and opening closed power plants, making America energy independent once again. He addressed America’s security, mentioning an Iron Dome type security system being built, reestablishing our shipbuilding, taking back the Panama Canal, and working hard to secure a relationship of some sort with Greenland. He told us that America’s military recruitment has gone from rock-bottom to the highest in six short weeks, hostages have been returned, war has been declared on the drug cartels, the terrorist mastermind behind the killing of our 13 soldiers in Afghanistan has been captured, violent criminals are being deported or imprisoned, and the border is closed. Wow! If you watched the speech Tuesday night, you know there is MUCH more that could be said about it. A couple of weeks back my friend, Clay Nash, had a dream in which he was told President Trump would “March forth on March fourth.” The speech President Trump would give on this date was not yet even on Clay’s radar. But this word was definitely fulfilled; the President certainly “Marched forth on March 4th.” A RENAISSANCE Since President Trump’s inauguration, four prophets I am aware of have stated that America is entering a renaissance season. Surprisingly, when my friend Greg Hood looked up the definition of renaissance in the dictionary, he found that a synonym for it is “golden age.” That should ring a bell. Trump stated in his inaugural address, and has repeatedly declared since then, that America is entering a “golden age.” Greg pointed out that the President of the United States and prophets in our nation are now declaring the same thing over America. This was incredibly significant to him, and it is to me as well. The word renaissance literally means “rebirth,” “to be born again,” and “revival.” If that doesn’t stir your heart then YOU need reviving! America is entering a season of new birth, of revival. I am excited about the natural aspect of this rebirth, of course. I rejoice when people are delivered from poverty and lack, when the American dream of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is fulfilled for individuals and families. The Lord wants this for us as well, according to 3 John, verse 2. However, I am even more excited when the spiritual aspects of revival are seen and experienced. My greatest joy is when multitudes come to Jesus and enter God’s family. This is the revival for which I have been contending for thirty-five years. For me, the golden age is the harvest age. Can you imagine the joy our Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit must feel at this time in history?! Keep praying, church. Your prayers are birthing something unspeakably wonderful. Pray with me: Father, we thank You for the renaissance we have entered, a golden age of harvest and outpouring. We ask You to do an amazingly quick work of restoration in our land, preparing America for her role in this great plan of Yours. We realize we are not Your favorite kids; all of Your children are Your favorites. We know that as individuals, American believers possess no greater calling and privilege of preaching the gospel than any other member of Your family. Yet, we also know You raised this nation up for the express purpose of facilitating this privilege. Revive us to this calling, we pray. Jesus is worthy of us doing this for Him. Give favor and anointing to our President and his team, members of Congress, and others as they work to strengthen and restore our nation. Give wisdom and anointing to leaders in the church as they prepare the body of Christ to do their part. Cause a supernatural synergy to operate as civil and spiritual government work simultaneously to accomplish Your purposes in this hour. In the authority of Jesus Christ we bind the plans and strategies of hell to stop this. We call forth Your will, purposes and Kingdom plans. We ask for an unprecedented release of divine power through the church, and for angel armies to engage at unprecedented levels. Thank You once again for what You are doing, and for allowing us to partner with You. Amen. 5 min read https://www.givehim15.com/post/march-4-2025 March 4, 2025 The Files Are Being Discovered In yesterday’s post, I said: “I have been sensing that more exposure of corruption is coming in our government, at even greater levels than we have seen thus far. I also feel that President Trump and his team are about to make some very bold moves; again, more so than he has yet done. I am hearing from other leaders who are confirming this. One of those leaders senses that something significant will occur this week.” I continue to feel this. These feelings were not initiated by what occurred in the Oval Office with Zelenskyy on Friday. They began in me a week or more ago. Will these bold moves by Trump and his team be related to this historical meeting in some way? Perhaps–this disagreement will influence much of what takes place on the world stage in the near future, and America will play a great role in this. However, I do not feel that the moves I’m sensing were generated by the meeting. What I’m about to say is only a feeling I have, a sense, not a word from the Lord. Why share it if it’s only a guess? 1) Because I’m asking you to pray; and 2) if they bring turmoil, I don’t want you to be alarmed - God is at work. I believe something has been discovered by President Trump’s team (or several things), and is about to be shared, that will shake Washington, D.C., to its core. At least three words from the Lord have been given to trusted individuals over the past couple of years which speak of God exposing incriminating “files” in our government. This may or may not refer to actual files; more than likely it simply refers to proof of corruption, regardless of the form in which it is found. In January of 2024, Gina Gholston was given a dream (which I included in a post) where people were attempting to shred files in the White House. These people were stopped before they could do so, and were arrested. In July of last year, our friend Shirley Strand was given a vision regarding “files.” Here is a portion of what she said: “I saw government file cabinets all over D.C. and elsewhere. They were flung open and documents were flying out, multiple documents…God is exposing, big time. The Lord spoke to me and said ‘the cup of evil is full. Now I will stand up and deal with these people - I gave them time to repent, and they would not.’” The phrase “the cup of iniquity is full” relates to Genesis 15:16, in which the Lord promises Abraham the land of Canaan a second time. In this declaration God said that He would wait, however, until the sins of the Canaanites reached a level requiring their judgment. God knew this level of sin was coming, yet in His justice He waited until it had occurred. In Shirley’s vision, He stated that “the cup of evil was full” for many in our government. Lastly, in 2022, my brother Tim Sheets had a dream involving files which he knew represented the uncovering of corruption in our government. Tim said: “I saw a very old, gray file cabinet, maybe four feet high. I somehow knew it was owned or was associated with a very prominent American family. This file cabinet was filled to capacity, crammed full with folders. Two men were flipping through all of the files, obviously looking for something. When they had looked through every file in the top drawer, they shook their head, not finding what they were looking for. They did the same with all four drawers, still not finding what they were looking for. “Then, one of them said, ‘Let’s just take all the folders out of all the drawers. Let’s empty this file cabinet.’ And they began taking out all the files, stacking them up. As they did so, the man said, ‘Well, look here; there are files lying flat at the bottom of the drawers. They must have been hidden by all these other files that were standing up.’ “They pulled out these hidden files lying flat in the drawer, and shortly there after, one of them held up a file and declared, ‘This is what we’ve been looking for. Here it is.’ “At that point in the dream, the scene shifted, and the file cabinet transformed into a very large computer with an extra-large screen. As I viewed the screen, an image appeared and filled the screen. The image was of a very long line of dominoes, in the shape of an ‘S’. I knew it represented a snake. And as I watched, the last domino of the ‘snake’ began to slowly tip until it fell against the next domino. And of course, all the dominoes began to fall, one after the other, until the head was eventually knocked down.” I believe the significant uncovering of corruption mentioned in these dreams and visions has begun, and is about to reach a new level of accomplishment. When this occurs, justice will be severe. President Trump is in no mood to go easy on the corruption in our government, for several legitimate reasons: Firstly, he loves America and truly desires to turn it around, as do those working with him. Secondly, for almost 10 years, the Left and America’s deep state have viciously and unjustly tried to destroy Trump, his family, and his associates. They hate and fear him because of the level of threat he has become to them. This hatred and fear generated unparalleled attempts to destroy and humiliate him. Trump is determined and ready to dole out justice. Thirdly, the President wants his legacy to be “the person who was used to save America.” I believe he has accepted the prophecies stating God has chosen him to do this, and that this has added to his determination. And at his age - and in his last term of office - Trump has nothing to lose. I feel that he wants to finish his time on earth by accomplishing his greatest achievement: transforming America to greatness again and recapturing her destiny of being a force for good throughout the earth. I believe “files” have been found, or will be very soon. And now that key positions on President Trump’s team are in place, look for the real action to begin…for dominoes to begin falling. I wouldn’t be surprised if something significant isn’t mentioned regarding this in tonight’s speech to Congress. If I’m wrong about the timing, so be it. I am confident, however, that these exposures are coming–the files will be discovered, and the dominoes will fall. Let’s pray about this now. Pray with me: Father, You have protected and preserved the evidence that will expose significant evil and corruption in our government. We ask You to tip the dominoes until the head of the serpent is destroyed. The perpetrators believe they have covered their tracks and buried the evidence, but You have preserved the “files.” You have given individuals much time to repent; they have chosen instead to persevere in their evil ways. Many cups of iniquity are now full. Take action. We ask for mercy wherever possible - You alone have the perfect blend of justice and mercy. Save and redeem, cleanse and restore, uncover and expose. We pray that wisdom, skill, and supernatural help be given to those responsible for discovery and prosecution. Bring forth whistleblowers with evidence, lead individuals to the right files, and restore integrity to America. Heal our nation and right the ship. We pray for America, Ukraine, Russia, Europe, the Middle East, and all the earth, “Thy kingdom come! Thy will be done, as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). Save and deliver, end suffering, remove evil leaders. We believe the earth is ripe for another great awakening; send it now, we pray. Protect our nation’s leaders and their families. I will comment on His speech on all my platforms later today.) Times That Expose Men’s Souls I have quoted from Thomas Paine’s essay, “The American Crisis,” on previous Give Him 15 posts. I think of it often and read it occasionally, finding it inspiring - as did Washington’s army in the Revolutionary War. In an article published by History.com, Missy Sullivan gives us background on this famous essay, and why it was so important. In it she says: “On December 19, 1776, Thomas Paine publishes the essay ‘The American Crisis,’ a shot in the arm to Patriots during a particularly difficult stretch of the American Revolution. “…General George Washington’s troops were encamped at McKonkey’s Ferry on the Delaware River opposite Trenton, New Jersey. In August, they had suffered humiliating defeats and lost New York City to British troops. Between September and December, 11,000 American volunteers gave up the fight and returned to their families. General Washington could foresee the destiny of a rebellion without an army if the rest of his men returned home when their service contracts expired on December 31. He knew that without an upswing in morale and a significant victory, the American Revolution would come to a swift and humiliating end. “Thomas Paine was similarly astute. His Common Sense was the clarion call that began the revolution. As Washington’s troops retreated from New York through New Jersey, Paine again rose to the challenge of literary warfare. With American Crisis, he delivered the words that would salvage the revolution. “Washington commanded that the freshly printed pamphlet be read aloud to his dispirited men; the rousing prose had its intended effect. Reciting Paine’s impassioned words, the beleaguered troops mustered their remaining hopes for victory and crossed the icy Delaware River to defeat hungover Hessians on Christmas night and on January 2, the British army’s best general, Earl Cornwallis, at the Battle of Princeton…”(1) This essay and the subsequent victories saved the effort for America’s freedom. Here is Paine’s opening of “The American Crisis”: “These are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands [by] it now deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as FREEDOM should not be highly rated.”(2) Earlier in 1776 before the war began, in his pamphlet “Common Sense,” Paine said: “The cause of America is in a great measure the cause of all mankind.”(3) When making this statement, he was speaking of the cause of freedom from tyranny, the God-given right of all people to liberty and justice. I believe this statement is true, but I also believe “the cause of America” at her founding was more than just natural liberty and justice, as basic and important as that is. History has proven that God had another overriding cause for raising up America: the spiritual freedom of humankind through the redemption provided by His Son, Jesus Christ. The propagation of the gospel is every believer’s responsibility, but it is also a national calling on America. Partnering with God in this greatest of causes is a tremendous privilege, a humbling and sobering assignment. It is not the assignment of America’s government to preach the gospel; it is the church’s assignment. It is our government’s responsibility to preserve the rights, liberties, and security that make the fulfillment of this calling possible. Natural governments should secure natural liberty, the church proclaims and secures spiritual liberty. Trump and other conservative leaders certainly cannot save America spiritually, but they can make decisions that allow God to do so. Their actions can release God’s blessings and stop the efforts of leaders who align with evil agendas. Natural government cannot bind and loose spiritual powers, but it can enforce the fruit after the church does. And the Scriptures tell us a nation rejoices when natural government fulfills its God-given purpose (Proverbs 29:2). We must continue to pray that this natural and spiritual partnership occurs, and does so at higher levels. God has been and will continue to honor these prayers, blessing the righteous and exposing the corrupt. These present times “that try men’s souls,” will also be the times that expose men’s souls. God drew His line in the sand, some have crossed it, and the files are now being opened. Those who have refused to believe that God possesses the most authoritative gavel in all of creation, will soon hear its deafening sound. Some have interpreted His delay as indifference, others have even taken it as proof that He doesn’t exist. It was, actually, an offer of mercy. Now, the cup of iniquity is full and the reaping will begin. God will allow nothing to stop the coming harvest here in America and around the world. Nothing. Persevere, praying church. Take your place in history. You are God’s instruments, His channels, His voice. Be loud in the spirit. Call forth His righteous rule and the harvest of the ages. Pray with me: Father, I pray today for the praying Ekklesia, those who faithfully pick up the sword and intercede for America and the nations. You are using them to shape history. Their prayers release the gospel, salvations, Holy Spirit power, and miracles (Acts 4:29-31). Their prayers release manifestations of Your Kingdom and generate Your will on earth (Matthew 6.10). They release the rain of revival (Zechariah 10:1). Keep them reminded of this. Remind all of those who regularly pray for these things of the unspeakable honor of partnering with You to see Your will accomplished. And regarding our nation, we took our eyes off the prize, the honor of this partnership, and squandered our inheritance, just like the prodigal son in Scripture. We have now found ourselves feeding on husks meant for swine and bathing in mud. Many of our government leaders have reached the “fool” and “reprobate” status You spoke of in Romans 1:18-32. The times in which we live have exposed their depraved souls. Our culture became demonized, feeding on filth, and casting off all restraint (Proverbs 29:18 ESV). Expose and remove the masks, uncover the files. In Your great mercy redeem the humble; in Your power crush those who resist You, just as You promised in Psalm 2. And Father, we confess that much of the church became conformed to the world (Romans 12:1-2), rather than enlightening and preserving society (Matthew 5:13-14); and we agreed to be muzzled (Acts 4:18). But You have awakened many. We ask for this to continue. Bring sleepless nights to spiritual leaders who have abandoned truth. Haunt their dreams, awaken their consciences, restore passion, and relight the flames of their first love. Send revival. We appeal for the real thing, nothing less than genuine world-changing revival. Do it here and around the world. Millions are perishing without You; change this! I also feel that President Trump and his team are about to make some very bold moves; again, more so than he has yet done. I am hearing from other leaders who are confirming this. One of those leaders senses that something significant is going to occur this week. The Lord recently reminded Gina Gholston of a word she received a year ago, which is certainly coming to pass. It speaks of exposing evil and healing our nation. She feels the exposure it speaks of will continue. Here is that word: “The shroud and veil are being torn. What has bound and blocked will now be removed. I am pouring in the oil and wine of My Spirit to revive and re-life. What has been left for dead will now live, and freedom and light will prevail as I arise in and through My awakened body, the church. “I have said, ‘Don’t count Me out!’ I am not finished with the work I have begun. I will finish it! I will turn things around. “Feel the ground shake, but do not fear. Resurrection is happening. Hold fast to the faith that has been developed in you. It is a steadfast anchor that will not allow you to be removed. I will unearth hidden things . . . root systems that have kept evil agendas alive . . . and once I remove their source, I will pull them up and there will be sudden death to those agendas. Hear Me, I am removing their source, drying up their funds, and confusing their communications. “‘How can this happen?’ they will say! Terror will fill their hearts at the recognition of their halted and exposed operations. “The tilt is coming. I will overturn the kettle, and expose the vile pottage hidden in ‘ornate vessels’. A gullible focus on and submission to these ornate vessels has caused many to be captured and slowly poisoned by the carefully measured portions of propaganda and deception that have been ‘spoon-fed’ to them. Yet, they will be overwhelmed with shock and awe as I open their eyes to see beyond the ornate vessels and reveal to them the vile pottage. I will put a bitter taste in their mouths, and they will become frighteningly aware of the hidden ingredients contained in that which they once voluntarily consumed. Some will be overcome by great fear at the realization. “Yes, I will deal with the root and expose the hidden things. But I will not leave you hopeless. I will replace the vile with the precious. I will pour in the wine and oil of My Spirit, and those who receive that which comes from Me will live. I will say to them, ‘Fear not! I am Healer. I am Deliverer. Humble yourself. Pray. Turn from your wicked ways. Seek Me, and I will be your Help and I will heal your land.’ “Shaking, breaking, uprooting . . . sudden death to an evil agenda. The swirl of My justice is beginning to spin. This is not to be feared. It will uncover, reveal, and expose so that life can come. Freedom…Light…Truth…I will prevail.” ******* This has obviously proven to be accurate, and what it speaks of will continue. I have been reflecting on the word Holy Spirit gave me in July of 2021. I knew that in allowing the election of 2020 to be stolen, God had a plan to expose and judge corruption in our government. Then the Lord led me to Exodus 14, where Yahweh rolled back the Red Sea for Israel and destroyed Pharaoh’s army. The first two verses of this chapter begin laying out the audacious plan of Yahweh. “Now the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, ‘Tell the sons of Israel to turn back and camp in front of Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea; you shall camp in front of Baal-zephon, opposite it, by the sea’” (Exodus 14:1-2). God wanted us to realize that HE chose the place for this dramatic Red Sea encounter, even though the meandering and rerouting of Israel gave Pharaoh the perception that they were confused and disoriented, wandering aimlessly in the desert. And geographically speaking, this “wandering” did indeed have them “trapped,” hemmed in by mountains, the sea and Pharaoh’s army. I will now destroy these Israelites with the help of my most powerful god, Baal-zephon, Pharaoh thought. However, God, the all-wise strategist, orchestrated events to accomplish HIS plan. As mentioned, Baal-zephon was one of the gods of Egypt. It was believed that Zephon had great power and was lord over the wind and sea. And…he was the only Egyptian god Yahweh had not yet exposed and judged during the 10 plagues and Israel’s deliverance. Scott Lancer, in an article for Associates for Biblical Research, (Confronting Baal Zephon: The Spiritual Message of the Meeting of Israel and the Armies of Egypt) says, “Let us remember that God had been triumphing over not only Pharaoh and the Egyptians, but also the supposed power of their gods. The plagues were a drumbeat of victory as the gods of Egypt were, one by one, displayed to be impotent and powerless. And even more importantly, Yahweh wanted the Egyptians to know that He is the Lord” (14:4).(1) Pharaoh believed that his god was more powerful than Yahweh. He supposed that Baal-zephon had caused Israel’s confusion, led them into a trap, and would now aid him in destroying them - right in front of the high place named for him! “How brilliant!” he was thinking. Yahweh had other plans. He would demonstrate that HE was the Lord of the wind and sea, not Zephon. He would not lead Israel AROUND the sea; Yahweh would actually lead His people THROUGH this sea, the Egyptians believed Zephon controlled. And rather than Israel being destroyed, it would be Pharaoh and the Egyptian army…in front of their “exposed” god! Through this amazing passage, the Lord spoke to me in 2021 that it pictured what was occurring in America. It appeared that we had lost, that “the god of this world” (2 Corinthians 4:4) had outsmarted and overpowered our God, and satan had fully taken over our nation. But as is so often eloquently stated, “It ain’t over ‘til it’s over.” The wind is now blowing, the waters have parted, and Baal, along with his worshipers, is being exposed. The D.C. sewage is being smelled by the entire world. Run by crooks, liars, arrogant politicians, corrupt bureaucrats and phony patriots, its “ornate vessels” filled with “vile pottage” are now being uncovered. Some will finally see the evil of those they have followed, as Gina’s word indicated, and turn around. Others will drown in the sea of deception. I pray many of them will turn and be saved. Pray with me: Father, You said in Gina’s word that You would “deal with the root and expose the hidden things. I will not leave you hopeless. I will replace the vile with the precious. I will pour in the wine and oil of My Spirit, and those who receive that which comes from Me will live. I will say to them, ‘Fear not! I am Healer. I am Deliverer. Humble yourself. Pray. One of them is that we must “wrestle” with God until He yields and gives us what we desire. The verses used to teach this are from Genesis 32:22-32, where Jacob wrestled all night with the angel of the Lord. Many a dynamic message has been preached, using the words of Jacob as an example of how we should pray: “I will not let you go unless you bless me” (verse 26). However, Jacob’s wrestling with God is not presented as an example of how to pray. In this encounter, God and Jacob were after different things, which is why it lasted through the night. Jacob wanted protection from Esau; God desired a nature change in Jacob. Not understanding this makes the angel’s question to Jacob seem silly. “What is your name?” (Verse 27). Doesn’t it seem strange that in the midst of this “wrestling match” Jacob and his opponent began having a nice little conversation, trying to get acquainted? That isn’t what was actually occurring, of course; the angel knew Jacob’s name! God wanted and needed Jacob to acknowledge the truth about his nature, which was described by the meaning of his name. The Amplified Translation makes this very clear: “[The Man] asked him, What is your name? And [in shock of realization, whispering) he said, Jacob [supplanter, schemer, trickster, swindler]!” (Genesis 32:27). The revelation of his sinful nature and subsequent confession were what the Lord needed from Jacob. Grace followed immediately, producing a nature change in Jacob; his name was then also changed to Israel. Jacob’s “prevailing” (verse 28) was NOT an overcoming of God’s reluctance, nor was it the securing of protection from Esau. God had already promised him that he would bring him home safely (Genesis 28:15). It was prevailing over his conniving nature and becoming the “Israel” God needed him to be. Our Jacob nature wrestles with God; our Israel nature partners with Him. Importunity Another misconception regarding prayer is that we can manipulate, persuade, or “talk God into” moving on our behalf. Most would not admit to this underlying belief, but their practice of prayer and their theology demonstrate its existence. This theology is based on what is commonly referred to as “the prayer of importunity” from Luke 11:5-13. In this passage, a man received an unexpected guest at midnight but had no food with which to prepare him a meal, a very important custom of that day. So, he knocked on the door of a friend, awakened him, and asked for some bread to give the visitor. The response of the awakened friend, in the King James (and other) versions of Scripture, was: “I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth” (Luke 11:8). With this translation of Christ’s words, God is presented as a “friend” who doesn’t really want to be bothered by our requests, but because we annoy Him with our persistence, He finally yields and gives us what we want. Are we to actually believe God answers our prayers to keep us from annoying Him?! Or that our persistence is to overcome His reluctance? The answer is an emphatic, “NO!” We are not instructed to persist against God, and He is not annoyed by our approach to His throne of grace. The problem comes from the use of the word “importunity” to translate the Greek word anaideia used in Luke 11:8. This Greek word actually means “shamelessness”(1) or “bold unashamedness.”(2) Aidos, the root word, means “modesty or shame”(3) and is translated as such in 1 Timothy 2:9. Here in Luke 11, the word is in its negative form, making it “without modesty or shame.” Here is a more literal translation of Luke 11:5-8 from the Disciples Literal New Testament: “And He said to them, ‘Which of you will have a friend, and will go to him at midnight and say to him, “Friend, lend me three loaves-of-bread, because my friend came to me from a journey and I do not have what I will set-before him”; and that one, having responded from inside says “Do not be causing me troubles. The door has already been locked, and my children are with me in bed. I am not able, having arisen, to give it to you”? I say to you: even though he will not, having arisen, give to him because of being his friend, yet because of his shamelessness he will, having been raised, give to him as much as he needs.’” Darby’s New Testament, another very literal translation, uses the same phrase: “because of his shamelessness.” The Bible Hub confirms this, stating the following regarding this word and passage: “In the context of the New Testament, [anaideia] often conveys a sense of tenacity or audacity in approaching God, particularly in prayer. This word suggests a kind of boldness that is not hindered by social conventions or fear of impropriety. “Cultural and Historical Background: In ancient Greek culture, the concept of “aidōs” (shame or modesty) was highly valued as a social virtue. It was considered important to maintain one’s honor and reputation by adhering to societal norms. The prefix “an” negates this concept, indicating a behavior that goes against these norms. In the context of the New Testament, this term is used positively to describe a kind of spiritual boldness that is encouraged in one’s relationship with God.”(4) The point of Christ’s illustration is the same as that of Hebrews 4:16: we are to approach God with bold confidence, knowing He is our Friend and Father, and desires to give us grace and mercy. We are to ask “according to His will” (1 John 5:14), not try and “wrestle” from Him something He might not want to give. We are partners with God, laborers together with Him (2 Corinthians 6:1), not at war with Him! We storm the gates of hell (Isaiah 28:6; Matthew 16:18), not the gates of heaven. Yes, persistence in prayer is necessary, but not to overcome God’s reluctance. This is vital to know and remember. Pray with me: Father, Your Word tells us that through faith and patience, we inherit Your promises (Hebrews 6:12). Perseverance is absolutely needed in our prayer efforts, but this is not to talk You into doing things for us. We wrestle against principalities and powers, rulers of darkness, and wicked spirits - not with You (Ephesians 6:12). We are Your family and friends, empowered by Holy Spirit to partner with You. We have persisted in our partnering prayers and decrees to see America revived and transformed. We have done so to release the worldwide revival on the horizon. We will not falter, will not yield to hope-deferred or weariness of heart, and will not lose faith. We are channels of Your will into the earth, the pipeline through which the oil of Your Spirit flows, conduits of Your power. We will not allow the flow to stop. We command it forth again today, declaring “Kingdom and will of God, come forth! Manifest in the Earth.” Will of God: manifest in our nation’s government. Manifest in our homes and schools. Manifest in our children, bringing millions of them into Your family in this hour. Manifest in our bodies, bringing healing. Manifest in our minds and emotions, breaking confusion and deception off of millions. Manifest in the nations of the earth bringing change and worldwide revival. Manifest in the Middle East against the prince of Persia and other principalities. Manifest against the veil blinding the eyes of billions of people; open their eyes to the light of the gospel. All of this, we pray and decree in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, whose we are and whom we serve. Our decree: We decree that God is for us, not against us. Here is Mr. Turner’s prayer: “Father, we thank You for this awesome privilege to be in Your presence. God, thank You that You have allowed us to see this day. The Bible says that Your mercies are new every morning. Father God, we give You the glory and the honor. Thank You, God, for President Trump, and for appointing us…thank You for anointing us to do this job. “Father, we pray You will give the President, the Vice President, wisdom as they lead. Father, I pray for all of my colleagues who are here, around the table, and in this room. Lord God, we pray that we will lead with righteous clarity. Father God, as we serve the people of this country and every perspective agency, every job that we have, Father, we would humble ourselves before You and [ask that] we would lead in [the] manner You have called us to lead and to serve. “Father, the Bible says, ‘Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.’ Father, we today honor You…in Your rightful place. Father, thank You for giving us this opportunity to restore faith in this country and be a blessing to the people of America. And Lord God, today in our meeting, we pray that You would be glorified in our conversation. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”(1) ******* I have prayed to see this for over 30 years. I hope believers know the true ramifications of God being honored by our government. The Lord places tremendous weight on the decisions of leaders. In 2 Samuel 24:1-17, David’s sin of conducting a census brought great devastation to all of Israel. God had forbidden this, not because censuses in and of themselves are bad, but because it indicated that Israel’s faith was no longer in Him for protection. It was vital that Israel’s trust remained in Him - the salvation of the world depended on this. David’s heart had now become filled with pride and self-dependence. God had to stop this. David later repented, but 70,000 Israelites died because of David’s pride, presumption, disobedience, and independent spirit. In 2 Samuel 21:1, we’re told that a famine was plaguing Israel under David’s reign. When he asked the Lord why this was occurring, God said it was because his predecessor, Saul, had shed the blood of innocent Gibeonites. The shedding of innocent blood by a previous king in Israel was allowing a curse to operate generationally. In Numbers 14:20, Moses interceded for Israel, and God said, “I have pardoned them according to your word.” On another occasion in Exodus 32:14, God relented from judgment against Israel in response to Moses’ intercession. In still another famous passage, Moses had come off of Mount Sinai, the mountain of the Lord, only to find Israel worshipping the golden calf they had fashioned (Exodus 32). One can only wonder at the fragile faith of these Israelites after the great miracles and amazing deliverance Yahweh had performed for them. Yet it was true; they had wavered in their trust of Him and decided that perhaps Baal was the way to go, after all. A portion of the story that often goes untold, however, is Aaron’s part in the sin. Moses left Aaron in charge while he was away with Joshua on the mountain receiving God’s law and Israel’s constitution (Exodus 24:14). When they returned and found Israel involved in the great idolatry, both Moses and God laid the responsibility squarely on Aaron: “Then Moses said to Aaron, ‘What did this people do to you, that you have brought such great sin upon them?’” (Exodus 32:21 NASB) “Now when Moses saw that the people were out of control—for Aaron had let them get out of control to be a derision among their enemies…“ (verse 25, NASB) The first reference is Moses speaking; the second isn’t a quote from him, making it God doing the speaking. The idolatry was not originally Aaron’s idea, so he wasn’t being accused of that. He did participate in making the idol, but his responsibility was much greater than that. Aaron was being held responsible for not stopping it! Obviously, He could not have personally overpowered the mob that wanted to do this. Therefore, the Scriptures are clearly stating that had he made a righteous stand and said, “No! We are not doing this!” the Lord would have somehow backed him up, just as He always did Moses. And indeed, He did back up Moses when he showed up and put a stop to it. Let the ramifications of this sink in: God was holding the leader responsible for the sinful actions of the people. “Aaron, you could have stopped this! I would have supported you had you stood for Me.” As a leader, this is very sobering. Finally, on the positive or blessing side of the equation, let’s remember that the Scriptures state, “When the righteous rule, the people rejoice” (Proverbs 29:2). And “Blessed are the people whose God is the Lord” (Psalm 33:12; 144:15). Make no mistake about it: the actions of leaders affect the people they lead. Pray that this atmosphere of honor toward the Lord in Trump’s cabinet continues and increases. I’m asking God for a move of Holy Spirit to break out in all areas of our government, including, of course, the White House. Why shouldn’t we ask for this?! I don’t care what it looks like. I’m not asking that it be “charismatic” in its flavor and style, just that it includes salvations, a passion for God, and a love of His Word. Let’s ask for it now. Pray with me: Father, thank You for a President who will ask for prayer, requesting Your presence and blessings on his cabinet meetings. Thank You that there are members of his team who know You well enough to pray this prayer. We know there are several true believers on the President’s team; thank You for placing them there. We join them in humbling ourselves before You, asking for Your presence and anointing. We ask for this not only in the White House and other government meetings, but also for our entire nation. Hover over America, releasing Your power to bring the transformation we need. Cause a mighty revival to take place in the government of America. Cleanse, transform, and bring about true relationships with You. We declare in intercession, “You are welcome in this nation…everywhere!” Protect those in our government from harm, as well as their families and staff. Keep them under the “Iron Dome” shield of faith. And protect our nation from the evil individuals - both within and outside our government - who want to divide us. This is disgusting and a great evil; please remove their voices and heal our land of this division. And Lord, continue to expose fraud, theft, and corruption in our government. Reveal the hypocrisy of those who oppose it. Please remove them. All of this we ask in Yeshua’s name, for He is our access to You. Amen. This prayer is sometimes referred to in Scripture as travail, not just because it can be hard work, but also because of the birthing aspect. We mentioned Isaiah 66:8, which speaks of travail that produces sons and daughters, and Galatians 4:19, which refers to it in the context of birthing maturity in believers. Today, I want to address another fascinating word that connects our prayers to birthing God’s will on the earth. It is first used in Genesis one. “And the earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” (Genesis 1:2) The Hebrew word used for “moved,” rachaph, is very interesting. One of its primary meanings is “to brood over.”(1) The Amplified translation actually uses the phrase “was moving, hovering, brooding over.” The margin of the New American Standard Bible also uses the word “hovering.” Rachaph is hovering or brooding over something. But there is more to this word’s meaning. Webster’s Dictionary defines “brood” as “offspring; progeny; that which is bred or produced.”(2) It comes from the root word “breed,” which we know means to procreate. In using this term to describe Holy Spirit’s work at creation, God uses the analogy of procreating and birthing. He was creating or bringing forth life. A Hebrew scholar once confirmed this to me, stating that rachaph is indeed a reproductive term that can refer to the literal act of procreating. Pretty graphic, but it confirms that rachaph is literally a reproductive term. One lexicon defined the word as “brooding and fertilizing.”(3) We know from the New Testament that it was Jesus who called forth life in this Genesis setting. We are told that all things were created by His words (see John 1:1-3; Colossians 1:16). But Holy Spirit was working with Him, brooding or hovering over the earth, releasing His creative power at the words of Jesus, “giving birth to” what Christ spoke. Psalm 90:2 confirms this analogy, referring to what Holy Spirit did at Creation as a birthing. “Before the mountains were born [yalad], or Thou didst give birth to [chuwl] the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, Thou art God.” Although the words are not translated as such in this verse, yalad and chuwl are also the primary Hebrew words for travail. They are translated with various synonymous words or phrases: “bring forth,” “born,” “give birth to,” “travail,”(4-5) and others (see Deuteronomy 32:18; Job 15:7; 39:1 for examples). Regardless of how they are translated, it is easy to see that the concept is giving birth to something. And, of course, as with Psalm 90:2, they are not always referring to a literal, physical birth but simply to creating something, just as we do when saying an idea, vision, or nation was “born” or “conceived.” Now, let’s make the prayer connection. These are the same two words used in Isaiah 66:8: “As soon as Zion travailed [chuwl] she also brought forth [yalad] her sons.” What Holy Spirit did in Genesis when He “brought forth” or “gave birth to” the earth is what He wants to do through our prayers: “birth” God’s will in situations. As I said in yesterday‘s post, we do not have the inherent power to produce the will of God in situations. We do, however, have within us He who does possess this power, the Holy Spirit. And He is released through our prayers. The New Testament also uses a word that speaks of Holy Spirit hovering around or overshadowing individuals (episkiazo) to release His power and life.(6) The word is used in Luke 1:35 to describe Him doing so over Mary to conceive Christ in her. It is also used in Acts 5:15 to describe what was happening when Peter was ministering God’s healing power. We often interpret the passage as meaning that Peter’s shadow healed people (see Acts 5:15). What it is actually saying, however, is that Holy Spirit was hovering around or overshadowing individuals in order to heal them, as Peter ministered. This concept need not be overly mystical or ethereal. The point is simply that the Holy Spirit’s power is released through our prayers to bring forth the will of God in situations. No, He is not our errand boy or puppet, and we do not command Him. However, He does perform and release God’s will, and one of the ways this occurs is through our prayers. Allow this truth to generate faith in you. Allow it to strengthen your heart and resolve. Be conscious of the fact that Holy Spirit has been sent to help you produce God’s will in situations. You are not helpless; you have a powerful Helper (John 14:16,26; 15:26; 16:7). What an amazing promise! In my prayers, I frequently ask Holy Spirit to hover around people or places and bring forth God’s plan. Where nations are concerned, Holy Spirit hovers over them to bring revival. He releases His power to convict, lift the veil of deception, and reveal Jesus to people. This is what it means for Him to “rend the heavens…and come down” (Isaiah 64:1). When we ask Him for revival, we are asking Him to hover over cities, regions, and nations to bring forth life. We ask Him to hover over or overshadow diseased people and release miracles. When we ask God to shift those in government, we are asking Holy Spirit to hover around them and transform their thinking. Ask Him to do this. Ask Him to hover in our schools, on our campuses, in dorms and classrooms. And yes, ask Holy Spirit to hover in our churches, bringing forth a great awakening to believers. Let’s do so now. Pray with me: Father, thank You for our wonderful and all-powerful Helper, Holy Spirit; He whose infinite power created the heavens and the earth with its intricate detail and beauty. We are amazed at this title and role of Holy Spirit: our “Helper.” Cause this role of His to be a much stronger revelation to us. Remind us that we do not have to operate in our own strength and power as we pray and deal with life’s issues. We actually have the Creator within us! Today, we ask that He be sent to hover over America and other nations of the earth. Send Holy Spirit to release revelation, conviction, enlightenment, and power to save millions. Fill the atmospheres of nations with His reviving power. Release Him to hover over cities and regions, over schools and campuses. We know that Holy Spirit’s overshadowing releases revival. Please do this. We here in America ask for Holy Spirit to hover over the White House, the Capitol, and the Supreme Court. Change people’s thinking in these government positions to align with Your will and ways; cause many of them to be born again. Send a true revival to the government of America. And Father, we ask that Holy Spirit would move, hovering in our churches to release power and birth life. Release His fire, conviction, and first-love passion. Release signs, wonders, and miracles. Send a third great awakening to America, starting with our churches. We believe You will do this, and we thank You for it, in the name of Jesus. Who hath heard such a thing? Who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.” (Isaiah 66:7-9) “My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you.” (Galatians 4:19) ******* The words “birth” or “birthing” are often used not only to describe bringing forth offspring, but in the creation or production of something new. This could be an idea, a policy, an invention, or even a nation. In prayer circles the words are sometimes used to describe producing an outcome through our prayers. The Bible uses many analogies of the natural realm depicting spiritual truths, such as “moving mountains” through our prayers and faith, “planting” God’s Word in our hearts, or being “born again.” In this same way, we speak of “birthing” things through prayer. “Travail,” another word associated with the natural birthing process, is also used in the context of prayer. In the opening passages, travail is used to describe birthing a nation – Isaiah 66:7-9 is often associated with prayer – and of travailing to birth maturity in believers. Though prayer can certainly be hard work, often involving persistent “labor” and at times tears and groaning, these physical aspects are not the primary reason the word travail was chosen. It was used because the “laboring” done in prayer was “birthing” something in the spirit. Spiritual power - not just physical energy - was being released to “give birth” to occurrences in the spiritual realm. As sometimes occurs, many who have been associated with the concept of travailing prayer have made physical manifestations the focal point (hard work, groanings, weepings, crying out, etc.). We have failed to remember that the primary point of using the word travail is that something is being birthed. The reason for this mistake is simple, but no less harmful: we are physical beings, live in a physical world, and are informed through our five physical senses. It is very easy for us to at times over-emphasize the physical realm. For example, Charismatics and Pentecostals have a phenomenon they often call being “slain in the Spirit.” Although this is not a biblical phrase, and the practice is certainly abused, I believe people can and do fall under the power of God. Many in these circles, however, over-emphasize it, believing that those who fall down are receiving more from the Lord than those who do not. Some assume, even if only unconsciously, that nothing is happening to those who don’t fall, judging what is taking place in the spirit realm by what they see in the natural. This is dangerous and leads to extremes, imbalanced practices, and wrong expectations. With any spiritual release of power, the possibility of a physical manifestation or impact always exists - that is biblical. People may weep, fall down under the power of God, laugh, even appear drunk. But we should never judge what is occurring in the spiritual realm only by what we observe in the natural - including with the subject of prayer! When Paul said he was “travailing” in order to see Christ formed in the Galatians (4:19), he was not necessarily groaning, crying out, weeping, etc. over them as a woman might do in her travail. He may have at times, because he prayed for them intensely. But he was making the point that he worked or labored diligently in prayer to bring forth their maturity. The Passion Translation refers to Paul’s travail in this verse as “spiritual ‘labor pains.’” The emphasis was on spiritual passion, not the body’s response. Paul said elsewhere of Epaphras that he was “laboring earnestly” in prayer for the Colossians (4:12 NASB). Same concept. Both Paul and Epaphras were praying earnestly and passionately in order to “give birth to” spiritual realities. Prayer that “births” spiritually can occur whether or not a physical manifestation occurs. We can do so when walking, kneeling, driving, doing housework, mowing the grass, preparing for our day, or in a prayer meeting. Anytime we are releasing the power of Holy Spirit to bring forth His life and victories, we are “giving birth.” If the prayer becomes more intense, involving weeping or crying out, find an appropriate place and let it happen. But do NOT assume you have given birth to spiritual life only when this occurs. Holy Spirit Wants To Use Us! We truly are God’s “birthers” on earth. The Holy Spirit wants to “bring forth” life through us. Jesus said of believers in John 7:38: “From his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water.” Interestingly, “innermost being” is the word koilia which means a womb or matrix.(1) The church is the “womb” of God upon the earth from which He releases the power of Holy Spirit in order to bring forth life. We are not the source of life, but we are carriers of the source of life. We do not generate life, but through prayer we release Him who does. As we mentioned, Galatians 4:19, speaks of prayer being used to “birth” maturity in new Christians. Many years ago when the Lord first began emphasizing this truth to me, I was counseling 4-5 very troubled individuals. Three of them were suicidal (they were also seeing professional counselors). Some days I was spending hours with these people, trying to help them through their pain and distress. There were occasions when they called me at very critical moments, saying they were planning to take their lives right then. I remember one calling me at 2:00 A.M, saying, “I have a gun to my head right now…” Trying to help several people in this condition made this a stressful season, to say the least. One day during my prayer time, Holy Spirit spoke these words to me very clearly: “If you spent a fraction of the time releasing My power to these individuals by praying for them, as you do talking to them, you would see many times the results.” I know a good deal when I hear it! I began spending a couple of hours every day praying for these people. This may sound like a lot of time, but I was spending more than this “counseling” them. I would simply say, “Father, I bring [their names] before You now, asking that as I pray, Holy Spirit will be released to go and hover around them, bringing forth Christ’s victory and nature in them.” Then I would usually just pray in the Spirit. I began seeing results immediately. Breakthroughs began occurring in them quickly. Almost overnight, bondages began breaking, mindsets began changing, and healing began. It was remarkable. What was taking place? The power of Holy Spirit was being released through the prayer to “birth” spiritual growth in these individuals. Strongholds were broken, deception was removed, revelation was born, and truth began its work of making them free (John 8:32). We have been doing this for America, birthing transformation with our prayers! Power has been released EVERY TIME we have prayed for our nation and the nations: weakening strongholds, lifting the veil off of evil to expose its hiding places, and even positioning the right individuals to bring about change. Don’t let up, we are winning. Do this also for your family members and friends. Don’t be hesitant. You are not being disrespectful or telling Holy Spirit what to do as you pray with boldness or make decrees. You are releasing Him from your spirit to do what He desperately wants to do. Holy Spirit loves to save, deliver, and set captives free; He loves to fulfill the mission statement of Jesus in Luke 4:18-19: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord” (KJV). Let’s pray now. Pray with me: Father, You rebuked the Corinthian Church for acting like “mere men,” (1 Corinthians 3:3; NASB), acting as though they were “only human.” We are NOT only human; we are humans filled with Your Holy Spirit; we are sons and daughters of You, the all-powerful God, carriers of Your life and power. You desire to use us to birth change on the earth, just as You did through Jesus and the early church. You have been raising up a company of believers who understand this. Though they are still a remnant, they are a growing remnant, now comprised of millions of believers around the world. This remnant has been birthing things in the natural realm by releasing Your power in the spiritual realm and will continue to do so. We release Your power, light, and life into our world today. We ask that You continue to expose evil, overthrow the strongholds of darkness, and liberate captives - here in America and around the world. Shatter strongholds of evil. Continue to transform America and other nations. You are using our prayers to birth revival, and once again we call it forth today, allowing the power of Holy Spirit to issue forth from our obedient prayers and decrees. We will not be intimidated by lies and accusations accusing us of trying to manipulate You; we are obeying and partnering with You. All of this we pray in Yeshua’s name. I feel it is important for today, and follows the post I shared on Friday. This will encourage you greatly. He says: ******* “Recently, I have sensed there is a strategy that Holy Spirit wants to emphasize. He is doing something supernaturally that God has planned. The Ekklesia, His body through which He speaks and acts, is here to represent Christ’s base of power on the earth. Seated with Him in His Kingdom’s government (as Ephesians 2:6 describes), it arises to affect society, culture, laws, and earth’s government. This is a spiritual Kingdom, headquartered in heaven, where Jesus is enthroned to rule and reign as King of kings and Lord of lords. His representatives on earth will now function at higher levels of efficiency. “We occupy the seats with Christ spiritually in heaven’s government, but we can also occupy the seats in the natural governments of the earth. This is a restoration of what He said in Genesis 1 and 2 we are to do as part of the dominion mandate. Holy Spirit is calling some of our sons and daughters to run for seats in government, representing Him without compromising. He is especially grooming the millennials to unseat antichrist rulers. Young Davids are going to replace some Sauls. “As I was praying into our times,” Tim says, “Holy Spirit said to me, ‘Redefine, Realign and Restore.’ I then began to hear the sound of bones cracking in the spirit realm. I heard the popping of bones and joints coming into place. Upon hearing this, I remembered a story from my childhood. “My dad, along with local pastors, often conducted healing services. At one of these meetings, a man was pushed into the church in a wheelchair. His body was twisted, misshapen, and slumped to one side. Dad and the other pastors gathered around him and began to pray (see Mark 16: 15-18). As they prayed, I started to hear popping and cracking sounds as the man began to twitch, move, and shake. I watched him unwind in his wheelchair as his limbs straightened and his body realigned. I saw what appeared to be a hopeless condition suddenly change. A ‘no way’ became a ‘God way’ as hopelessness realigned. “After pondering this occurrence, the Lord said to me: “‘My Ekklesia kingdom hubs will now begin to see miracles of realignment in people’s lives, government, and culture. This will be an era of miraculous realignment. I have planned for My Ekklesia hubs to bring realignment to their regions through outpourings of increased power of Holy Spirit moving upon them and within them. I will realign the twisted, the disjointed, and the misshapen. I will realign government and culture through my power, erupting in My Ekklesia volcanic-like hubs. I will press, I will push, I will pull. I will realign as my Ekklesias activate governing decrees. I am activating angels of alignment to assist the supernatural alignment of regions, states, and nations. Angels of alignment are partnering with the prayers of My Ekklesia to accomplish the order of King Jesus. They are moving in unseen ways, to bring forth in seen ways, realignment with proper purpose, realignment with what I say, realignment with My Kingdom’s government and My ways. “‘For the set time has come for the generation of young reformers to align with remnant reformers of all generations, to reform My purpose and revive My works. Reformers are being formed. Reformers are rising in Holy Spirit power to declare realignment. This will erupt suddenly. I will validate it with explosive energy flowing through the generations of My Ekklesia. There will now come a functioning church in the midst of the dysfunction. Multiplied grace is being poured upon it. Bound, twisted souls will unwind. Bound, misshaped hearts will be reshaped, reborn, freed. Twisted destiny will be reformed and aligned with My purpose. Hearts bound in disillusion will awaken and beat with meaning. The blind and the aimless will see with focused vision clear pathways before them. They will be liberated from hell’s bondage as the revival of ingathering now leaps into being. “‘For the synergized generations, in sync with angel armies, will be soaked in the fresh rains of heaven and will leap forward into great revival. It will accelerate in power, passion, and purity. I will validate it with signs, wonders, and miracles. Notable miracles will leap into your families. Transformation will leap into prodigals. Notable miracles are leaping into your regions. The revival in the womb of My kingdom will leap into being. It’s leaping from those who have been in travail. Leap into your future. Forerunners, run! Run through the doors of opening and into the new era I have planned. Run to align your region with My Word. Generations, run into the outpourings of heaven. “‘For I am transforming and realigning the territorial domain of My Ekklesia hubs into opportunity zones of My kingdom. The name of their cities in their natural realms will be superseded by a new spirit name of My kingdom’s definition. Deliverance city. Healing city. Miracle city. Resource city. Restoration city. Grace city. Glory city. Mercy city. Revelation city. Resurrection city. Joy city. Compassion city. Wisdom city. Hope city. Redefinition will come to regions rooted with My Ekklesias and I will realign their territories to my defining purpose. I will bring a new identity and great blessings to the regions. The grace on my Ekklesia will now accelerate and it will validate that My kingdom is among them. My rule protects them, and My power sustains them. My presence fills them, and My glory surrounds them. Those who rule with Me will see their regions realign. They will participate in supernatural realignments that I have planned.’” Tim says, “Holy Spirit is resetting our way of thinking. We need to think with an authoritative, ruling, reigning, and governmental mindset. He wants us to think spiritually minded thoughts, functioning with wisdom in a natural world. “While our emphasis is on the nation’s realignment with our God, perhaps you need realignment in your own life today. This word also pertains to you. Souls that are bound and twisted with the lies of the enemy will unwind. Misshaped hearts will be reshaped, reborn, and freed. Twisted destiny will be reformed and aligned with His purpose. Hearts that are bound in disillusionment will awaken and beat with meaning. You will have a focused vision and clear pathways before you. You will see signs, wonders, and miracles in your life.” ******* Pray with me: Father God, let Your Ekklesia around this nation and world rise with great fire, passion, and purity. Realign us for a move of Holy Spirit on the earth like we’ve never seen before. Realign us for revival. Realign us to unseat the antichrist agendas and those who represent them, and replace them with the sons and daughters of God - locally, regionally, and nationally. Release Your power into the atmosphere of this nation and transform it. Realign culture and government through Your power. Release angel armies to accelerate Your kingdom. Restore geographical regions and territories to Your defining purpose. Bring new identity and great blessings to the regions. Father, accelerate Your grace on Your Ekklesia and validate that Your Kingdom is among them. Let Your rule protect them, and Your power sustain them. May Your presence fill them and Your glory surround them. We declare we will align and become who we are supposed to be. And Father, release miracles of realignment in our nation and in people’s lives throughout the earth. We decree realignment in the destiny of prodigals. Unwind twisted hearts and those who are bound in their souls. Let us see visible miracles and manifestations of Your power. In Jesus’ name. Amen. Here is an edited version of Jean’s texts: ******* “Dutch, I am so encouraged by today’s Give Him 15 regarding the connection between the natural and spiritual, and the two of them coming into alignment or proper harmony. I, too, have been thinking of this for some time when hearing of Israel’s Iron Dome. I’ve actually been seeing in the spirit a “glory dome” placed over America, made of laser-like light and which dispels darkness, destroying all evil coming against this nation. “Education is another example. Natural change is occurring, picturing spiritual change that also needs to occur. Trump wants education to go from the Federal Government back to the states, as it should, and God wants it realigned as well, back into harmony with Him and with the family (Isaiah 54:13). “Money is another area that must realign. The natural wealth of this nation must be rescued from alignment with evil, from being wasted and used corruptly. We must pray and believe that great wealth will be removed from the kingdom of darkness and transferred into the Kingdom of light. I keep seeing God judging and dethroning the false gods of America. Heaven and earth are working together. Our prayers and decrees have prepared the way for President Trump and his administration to deal with the spirit of mammon and other evils. “Trump doesn’t know he is indirectly confronting the false gods (demons) behind the evil ruling much of our government. But he has been set in position by God in the natural realm, and the Ekklesia has been positioned alongside him in the spiritual to take America back from the rule of evil. Neither can do what is needed without the other. The government of God is going to a higher level, and will determine who rules our nation.” ***** Well said..! Regarding this alignment of heaven and earth, Jesus instructed us to pray accordingly, asking for His Kingdom to come and His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven (Matthew 6:10). One cannot believe the Bible and assert that God doesn’t want to influence earthly governments…or education, business, the family, etc. What an absurd and ridiculous contention. The God who made us doesn’t want involvement in our world? Of course He does! All of it. He wants as much heaven on earth as He can get. Connecting with Heaven You won’t find the words “align” or “alignment” in most English translations of Scripture, but you will absolutely find the concept. One of the Greek words that includes this meaning of proper connection and alignment is katartizo.(1) It is used in the context of connecting or realigning various things: nets (Matthew 4:21), relationships (1 Corinthians 1:10), fallen believers back to God and the body of Christ (Galatians 6:1), the ages of time (Hebrews 11:3), and more. God wants harmony, connection, and alignment with the earth, with us, and us with one another. In Matthew 6:10 above, the passage we call “The Lord’s Prayer,” God makes clear that He wants to heal the disconnections, the dislocations, between heaven and earth. “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” (The Greek wording actually states that we are not only to ask for this, but also to command it for God.) Through prayer, we would be the connecting agents of His will and Kingdom, manifesting here on earth, just as it does in heaven. God wants His will to manifest in our government, our education system, homes, businesses - every aspect of all the earth. He uses our prayers to accomplish this. Isaiah 58:12 goes so far as to make the profound statement that through fasting and prayer, we are healers of history. “And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in” (KJV). Our fasting, prayers, and repentance bring heaven to earth, allowing God to heal breaches that occurred in history - both between Him and us, and also between people - bringing realignment and reconnection. Unfortunately, America has experienced a significant disconnection from God and loss of His will. This has affected every area of our society. We are now in the process of healing the breach, reconnecting and realigning America with Heaven - kartartizo. As we do so, the natural will reflect the spiritual once again. God’s will and ways will be seen in our government, our schools, our homes, etc. Keep praying for this to occur. And by the way, don’t try to tell God who to use. He absolutely does reserve the right to determine whom He uses, and He certainly uses unbelievers at times to implement His will and ways. A Final Thought As President Trump, Musk, and DOGE are used to answer our prayers by exposing fraud and removing wasteful spending, there will, unfortunately be government employees lose their jobs who have done nothing wrong. Many of those being terminated haven’t been actively seeking to give taxpayers’ money to crazy DEI and “woke” causes. I am glad for the downsizing of our government, just as President Clinton did in the 90s when he dismissed 400,000 government employees. But I’m also praying for the innocent and unfortunate individuals who will be adversely impacted; it will not be easy for many. Pray for them, their spouses, and children. Ask God to give them grace as they make difficult transitions, and that they find employment quickly in the private sector. Remember, mercy is also a manifestation of heaven on earth. Pray with me: Father, America has been out of alignment, disconnected from You. You offered heaven’s will, we chose hell’s. In intercession, we repent on behalf of our nation and are now inviting Your will to come to our land. Heal our breaches. Bring heaven to our government, schools, children, homes, families, churches - Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done. Use President Trump and Elon Musk to remove the idol of mammon from our government. You said the love of money is the root of all evil. Surely, America has become a picture of this. Deliver us from this evil and bring heaven to earth. And even though we ask You to use these men and other individuals, our faith is not in them; it is in You. We know that only a massive return to You will truly and fully save America. Please send revival. And lastly, we pray for those who have been and will be displaced through the downsizing of our government. Please motivate them to turn to You as this occurs; give them peace, grace, and provision during this challenging time. Cause Americans to come together, not be further divided. However, some of my greatest memories from the early days of the Charismatic/Jesus People Movements are singing the praise and worship “choruses,” as we called them. We referred to them as such because they were typically short, like the chorus of a hymn. Some were only one word, like the Hallelujah chorus. They rarely had verses. The simplicity of these songs was part of Holy Spirit’s brilliant plan. The young generation of that era rebelled against extravagance and form; we wanted things simple and real, sometimes to a fault, like living in communes and wearing few clothes! When we came to Jesus, the Holy Spirit gave us simple songs. We also had rejected authority, the establishment - including, unfortunately, our parents and their traditions. We didn’t want their hymns. So when we came to Christ He simply said, “Give ‘em some simple choruses for now. They’ll come around.” And His most brilliant aspect of the plan was that He put in the hearts of our generation to use the Bible as our songbook. “We don’t need those fancy hymnals,” we boasted. “We sing the Bible!” Little did we know He was using this singing of His Word to renew our minds, remove our rebellion, and feed us on the bread of life. Holy Spirit is so smart! One of my favorite “choruses” of the day was taken from Psalm 20:6-8: “Now know I that the Lord saves his anointed; he will hear him from his holy Heaven with the saving strength of his right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.” (AKJV) The primary portion of the song was verse 7, “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.” It drove into my heart the revelation that we must look to the Lord first for our provision, protection and strength. We would do well to remember this today. “Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain” (Psalm 127:1; AKJV). Ben Franklin quoted this verse from Psalm 127 at the Constitutional Convention in 1787 when suggesting more prayer was needed for wisdom and to overcome disagreements and other obstacles. We must remember its message today. My friend, Jay Comiskey, sent me the following information to encourage us as we build a protective prayer “dome” over America. It is entitled: THE IRON DOME SHIELD OF INTERCESSION In 2024, the Israeli Military (IDF) demonstrated a remarkable air defense system to protect their people. Guy Cohen, a Messianic Jewish leader from Israel, described this remarkable system: “Israel now has a multi-layered defense array. Our current system is surprisingly effective against almost all attacks from missiles, rockets, and UAVs. The IDF armor consists of the following defensive weapons: The Iron Dome, David’s Sling and The Arrow defense system. They each cover various distances, from close-range missiles all the way up to threats at the edge of the atmosphere. Currently, yet another level is being developed - laser technology.”(1) As you know, Israel has been attacked by several enemies over the past 16 months. From Hamas in the South, to Hezbollah in the North, including the nation of Iran, multiple thousands of rockets and missiles have been fired at Israel. Miraculously, very few of these weapons have reached their target. Israel has been amazingly spared much death or damage. How? The Jewish people worked relentlessly (with the USA) to develop these Iron Dome Systems to protect their nation from evil missiles and rockets. They have won the defensive battle for their country. This has allowed their military to go on the offensive and severely cripple Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran! On January 27, 2025, President Trump announced, we “need an Iron Dome for the USA!” He repeated this call in February.(2) Sometimes the Lord uses “signs, wonders and other indicators” in the natural to help us see a parallel truth in the spiritual realm. 1 Corinthians 15:46: “However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual.” Israel has once again become an important SIGN to God’s Ekklesia in America: It is time to build and operate our own Iron Dome Shield of Intercession over our Country! The Holy Spirit is calling us to partner with Him in building a mighty Iron Dome system of prayer and intercession to protect President Trump, his agenda, and our country. I believe God’s Prayer Army is at a unique place of maturity to build this spiritual Iron Dome of protection for America and all the nations. In Dutch’s book, Watchman Prayer, Chapter 7 is entitled “Armed and Loaded with Prayer.” He shares how our prayers build strategic boundaries. Our job as watchmen and women is to protect and empower God’s purposes on earth. I believe Holy Spirit is giving His people profound wisdom and revelation from the Scriptures to protect America. Here are some powerful building blocks to operate an effective spiritual defense system throughout our land: All Authority … Matthew 28:18: “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.” Luke 10:19: “Behold, I give you the authority … over all the authority of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” The Alpha and Omega Revelation 1:8: “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” Exceedingly Abundantly Above … Ephesians 3:20: “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” No weapon formed against you Isaiah 54:17: “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the Lord.” Angel Armies Psalm 103:20-21 (NLT): “Praise the Lord, you angels, you mighty ones who carry out his plans, listening for each of his commands. Yes, praise the Lord, you armies of angels who serve him and do his will! The Lord is teaching us how to build His spiritual “Iron Dome Shield” over America. Ask for wisdom and revelation from Holy Spirit regarding what to PRAY and DECREE into a current reality over President Trump and all those in authority. He will give you insight. There is a clichè in football that says, “Defense wins Championships.” Let us build a defensive “Iron Dome Shield” over our country that will cause “America to be saved.” Pray with me: Father, as we build the protective prayer dome over America, give us willing hearts and hearing ears. Motivate intercessors and faithful believers throughout our nation to take seriously the warnings about praying for protection over America. Remind us that we can see our “turning point” take place this spring if we use the weapons of prayer mentioned in yesterday‘s post. We will not make the mistake of placing our trust only in our government or military. We want and need wise leaders and a strong military, but our first and foremost trust is in You, not “horses and chariots.” We have prayed over America’s borders and waterways; we have obeyed other instructions telling us how and when to pray. We now make bold declarations of faith that we will continue to build and fortify Your protective dome/shield, and we will keep it in place through our prayers and decrees. We declare that America shall be saved, both physically and spiritually. America shall be revived, restored, and reformed. She will pick up her mantle once again of being an evangelist to the world, funding, resourcing, and taking the gospel of the Kingdom to the ends of the earth. Amen. 6 min read When Kings Go to War Yesterday, I shared two urgent, credible prayer requests for America; you can find them here. Thank you for praying, and please continue to do so. I want to share another prayer request today, based on a dream given to Steven Springer a year and a half ago, in September of 2023. I shared it in a post not that long ago, but the dream keeps coming back to me. I believe it is important for now, perhaps even related to yesterday’s requests. After sharing the dream I’ll give some interpretation and highlight a portion. THE DREAM Dutch and I, in a group of five people, were in large, futuristic war machines. Dutch had a standard that held three banners/flags. The top flag was white, with red letters that read “The Love of the Lord.” The next banner was the Appeal to Heaven flag, and the third was the American flag, which was very tattered. We followed Dutch in formation, advancing quickly toward a battle in front of us. We each had amazing weapons that shot laser lightning. On the side of the weapon was inscribed, as if it was the brand name, “Paga.” Every time we shot the weapons we hit the mark, never missing our target. Dutch would then get out of his vehicle and plant the standard into the ground as if to mark new territory claimed for the Kingdom! As the spear-like flag pole was thrust into the ground, springs of water would gush forth. I (Steven) would then declare, “Let your Kingdom come, and let the awakening well be unlocked!” Angels would then appear - to keep watch over the territory we had taken back. After each battle, Dutch was given another standard containing three more of the same flags, with the U.S. flag being less tattered. We moved from battlefield to battlefield, and the process was repeated. Then, as we approached another battlefield and were positioning ourselves to fire, General George Washington came riding to us out of the woods. As he looked at the standard with the banners Dutch was holding - the love of the Lord flag, the Appeal to Heaven flag, and the American flag - he said to us, “Remember Gettysburg, and in the spring is when kings go to war. There will be a revolution and reformation that must take place.” He said again, “Remember Gettysburg, and in the spring is when kings go to war.” The fear of the Lord came upon us. We all got out of our vehicles, fell to our knees, and began to pray. We were asking for gates to be opened, and that the Lord would give our nation back to the sons of the Kingdom and heal our land. As we did, lightning struck twice, and the land was healed. New growth came up from the ground. And as the banner of love waved in the wind, it released a sound over America. End of dream. INTERPRETATION There were five of us in these battles, which were obviously spiritual, not physical. In Scripture, the number “5” represents “grace.” The grace gifts Christ gave the church, listed in Ephesians 4:11-12 were five in number. David carried five stones to his encounter with Goliath. With God’s gifts and grace, we are equipped to win our spiritual battles. The three flags represent: 1) God’s redeeming love (Song of Solomon 2:4; John 3:16), 2) Prayer, and 3) America. The American flag was tattered, picturing the United States’ torn and broken condition. The three flags shown together reveal that God loves America and wants to heal her through the prayers of the church. Our weapons were inscribed with the word “Paga” and fired laser lightning. Steven didn’t know when given the dream that paga is the Hebrew word for intercession! Our weapons were prayer! Paga has several nuances of meaning, which I teach extensively in my book, Intercessory Prayer, which can provide pictures of what our prayers accomplish. One of those meanings is “to strike the mark” (think bullseye).(1) In the dream, our prayer-weapons released laser lightning, which struck the mark with great accuracy. This is actually spoken of in Job 36:32: “[God] fills His hands with lightning and commands it to strike the mark.” The phrase “strike the mark” is indeed the word paga! This dream - and the verse in Job - tells us that our prayers release God’s precision-guided judgments/lightning against His foes. Paga also means “to encounter” and “to mark boundaries of territory!”(2) Combining all of these definitions: in intercession we encounter spiritual forces, releasing God’s power to strike them with precision, staking claim to territory for the Kingdom of God. All of that is in the word paga!!! This is what we were doing in the dream. It is significant that the banner of love was above the Appeal to Heaven flag. God is love (1 John 4:8) and His power, released through our prayers, is motivated by love. Our war is not against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12). We love people and want to see them saved, even those who oppose the Lord. As we took back territory from the powers of darkness, the land itself was being healed, America as a nation (the flag) was being repaired, and wells of awakening (revival) began springing up from the ground. At some point, George Washington, the “Father of America,” leader of the American forces in the Revolutionary War, and our first president, came to us with a fascinating message. Part one of his message was “Remember Gettysburg.” Gettysburg was a battle, not in the Revolutionary War, which Washington fought, but in the Civil War. This is significant. The Civil War was internal, a war amongst ourselves, not against another nation. We were being destroyed from within. Gettysburg was the turning point battle in this war. Then in the dream Washington said, “In the spring is when kings go to war. There will be a revolution and reformation that must take place.” The first part is a quote from 2 Samuel 11:1. At the time in history when this verse was written, most wars were carried out in the spring, primarily due to weather conditions. Why is this verse mentioned in the dream? I am not confident enough to prophesy this interpretation as a sure word from the Lord, but I now believe that Holy Spirit is alerting us that there will be significant efforts this spring - perhaps two of them - to stop the turnaround in America. I don’t know the nature of them, but the Gettysburg/Civil War aspect of the dream causes me to believe they will be from within our nation. Could they be related to the attacks we mentioned in yesterday’s post? Or warnings we have received regarding our water supplies and/or ports? Could they be political? I’m not certain. What I am certain of is that we can win these battles through prayer. When Washington told us this in the dream, the fear of the Lord came upon us, we exited our vehicles and began to pray earnestly. As we did, our prayers produced lightning from heaven, which struck the ground twice. This was the turning point! The land was healed, and the banner of love released a sound over America. How interesting! Was this a love song?! I believe our Gettysburg, the “turning point” in the spiritual war for the soul of America, the “revolution” for America’s “reformation,” may very well take place over the next few months. We must persevere in our spiritual warfare, our intercession, releasing the lightning of God to defeat His enemies. Pray with me: Father, we want to listen to You diligently and obey You quickly. We listen to and obey Your words from Scripture first and foremost, but we also take to heart the words of Holy Spirit as He leads us in our intercession. At the beginning of 2025, You emphasized lightning in our nation’s capital. This is the year for the lightning! You have also reminded us that Your power, Your lightning, Your judgments - pictured in Revelation 8:5 - are released from our intercession. Holy Spirit guides these prayers, causing them to “strike the mark” with great precision. And You have reminded us that they are to be motivated by Your love – though they release judgments against Your enemies, they are for the healing of our land and the redemption of many people. We will not grow complacent. We hear Your alert and believe You are telling us that our generation’s spiritual Gettysburg, our turning point, is coming this spring. We ask You for great sensitivity and discernment as we remain on our posts and appeal to heaven. Help us to stay alert and watchful. Give us this breakthrough! In Jesus’ name, we pray this. Amen. While we cannot share more details than listed here, please know these have come in from reliable, high-placed sources. “CRITICAL ISSUE #1: Vetted national security experts with the highest security clearance in the communication field are asking for a prayer shield for our nation in regards to risk to our communication grid. Pray for those making decisions about our grid, engineers responsible for security, and those on the front lines. “CRITICAL ISSUE #2: A request for prayer over personnel involved in U.S./Israeli relations. Pray for all those making decisions, for those both in Israel and in the U.S. who are working together on current issues in the region, and for God’s purposes to be fulfilled. “We appreciate your faithful and urgent prayer for these two issues, even without many details. God knows all the specifics to each of these urgent requests, and He calls us to partner with Him as we intercede.” It is no secret that all of America’s cyber systems are vulnerable. That would obviously include the power grid, communications grid, water systems, and others. Our government has been asleep at the wheel, seemingly refusing to take seriously enough the warnings. Hopefully, that is incorrect, and things are being/have been done that, for security reasons, we are not being told about. Regardless, we must absolutely take warnings such as this very seriously. The world is currently in a very volatile time. This is not just for the obvious reasons, such as major global powers like China and Russia posturing for control. The forces behind globalism also desire more control; for this they want and need a weakened America. Trump’s “America First” agenda works against them tremendously. They must fight against its success in every way possible, from without our nation and from within. The victories President Trump and the conservative movement have won are real but tenuous, and nowhere near complete. We also know there are certainly hundreds, but more likely thousands, of terrorists and enemy soldiers now in America due to the Left’s open border policy of the last four years. When will they strike? Could this warning of attacks against our communication grid be one of their plans? Perhaps. One thing is certain: they came here with a plan, not just for a better life. We must pray diligently for our leaders and those in positions of responsibility to discover, expose, and stop these attacks. We must pray that God’s mercy triumphs over the horrible judgments America stands to reap. We must pray that we don’t experience the full fruit of the treachery and traitorous acts visited on our nation by our past leaders. We must ask for genuine revival - the fruit of repentance - and radical reformation in the place of these woes. We must continue to pray for the exposure of the corruption in our government and for the right people to be confirmed for President Trump’s Cabinet and Agencies. THE UNITED STATES AND ISRAEL Regarding the prayer request regarding Israel, the U.S., and the Middle East, I feel this is very timely. I have been sensing the weakening of the prince of Persia (Iran). When thinking of Iran’s government and its evils (not Iranians in general), don’t forget that they are ancient Persia, and are controlled by the principality mentioned in Daniel 10. He is one of the spirits that has ruled this region for millennia, led the battle to stop Daniel’s prayers and Israel’s restoration (Daniel 10), and was the spirit behind Haman’s attempt to destroy the Jewish people in the Book of Esther. This spirit is still alive and active today in the region. I have felt for quite some time that God is removing the influence of this spirit, which will also mean a shift in the government of Iran. Great revival is occurring there (underground), and I feel it will eventually feed a huge outpouring of the Spirit in the entire Middle East. Let’s take this request seriously and pray that those making decisions now, especially the Netanyahu and Trump teams, make wise and timely decisions - kairos decisions. It’s time for the head of this hateful, demonic snake to be cut off. As the above request says, pray for God’s purposes to be accomplished and for a great spiritual harvest to come in that region. Finally, I assure you that there has never been a more important time for watchman intercessors to stay engaged. We must faithfully pray for protection over our leaders, and ask God’s wisdom to direct them. Allow no distractions; accept no complacency. We are writing history with our prayers. Pray with me: Father, we join our hearts with thousands of intercessors today, asking for Your protection over America. We have sown the wind; we ask You that we not reap the whirlwind (Hosea 8:7). We ask You for mercy and protection from attacks against our nation’s communication system, our power grid, our water supplies, and any other vulnerable part of our nation. Give supernatural exposure regarding plans to destroy or damage them and weaken our nation. We also ask You to protect our government leaders, and give them great wisdom as they lead in this very challenging time. Thwart the plans of those working against righteous causes, and bring success to those who are promoting wise, effective, and strategic policies. Give them grace and wisdom to reform and rebuild our nation. We continue to pray that the right people are appointed to President Trump’s Cabinet and Agency positions. And we pray for the Middle East; we ask that You give the Trump and Netanyahu teams wisdom on what to do and when to do it. You are Lord over the nations – orchestrate events to cause revival in that part of the world. Eliminate the influence of the prince of Persia. Free the people of Iran and that entire region from his influence and control, lift the veil of deception, and open their eyes to Yeshua. You sent Michael, the great archangel, to deal with this principality in Daniel’s day. Send the heavenly forces necessary to do so again in this season. In Jesus’ name, we ask these things. Amen. You may not be aware of it, but you have a dreaming nature. You inherited this part of your make-up from your Creator. He created us in His image and likeness so our hearts could relate to His and in order that His dreaming heart could find millions of expressions. You were designed to dream, both for yourself and for God. You MUST dream. In fact, if you don’t dream with Him, He can’t experience all of His dreams, and you’ll never achieve your destiny. A life without dreams is like a GPS without a satellite. The GPS might operate, but it would lead you nowhere. Likewise, without God-given dreams to guide you, you will travel life’s highway searching for a destination you’ll never find. Divinely inspired dreams, on the other hand, will guide you to the destiny God intended for you. Your Designer dreamed dreams for you before you were even born, then skillfully wove them into your DNA as He created you, along with the ability to find and fulfill them. His ultimate destiny for you will be the sum of those dreams. The journey of life, then, is meant to be a dream quest. Finding and fulfilling what your Maker dreamed for you brings life’s ultimate satisfaction and should be life’s ultimate pursuit. If you don’t discover those dreams, you’ll either waste your life running in wrong races and crossing wrong finish lines or, like many people, have no finish line at all. Some individuals stop running altogether, wandering through life as though it were a maze, hoping they will make the right turn and stumble upon the right exit. What a tragedy. Your Creator doesn’t intend for life to be a shot in the dark. You CAN find His plans and dreams for you and pursue them with confidence. The Ultimate Gift is one of my favorite movies. It’s the story of Red Stevens, an older and extremely wealthy businessman who knew he was dying and was trying to decide where to leave his fortune. It seemed his children were money-hungry, self-indulgent, and irresponsible, as were his grandchildren. All but one. Jason seemed like all the rest, but Red had seen something else in him, buried under the outer layer of pain, laziness, and his party-driven lifestyle. Red knew that under this stained veneer was great strength and noble character. So he decided to leave his fortune to Jason - IF he passed a series of twelve tests, which Red personally presented posthumously by video. These were difficult, time-consuming tests, some of which were projects that took weeks. Jason would only learn of the next challenge after successfully finishing the previous one. When presented with the proposal by Red’s executor, Jason at first resisted. The old man’s money could go to charity; he wasn’t going to play the game. But after much thought - and the fear of going broke! - he decided to give it a try, just to get the money. What he didn’t know was that each challenge was designed not only as a test but as a character builder and teaching tool - Red called them “gifts, a series of gifts.” It is fascinating to watch the transformation in Jason. He learns the value of hard work, loyalty, giving, family, and several more important qualities needed for a successful and responsible life. Toward the end of the process, he sits down to see a video showing him his next assignment. Grandpa, though of course now gone, knew when making the videos that if, at this point in the process, they were still being shown to Jason by his wise and discerning business partner, Jason had passed the previous tests and could be trusted with the wealth. Almost. When this latter video begins, Red says, “It’s time for you to learn to dream, Jason.” Like the grandson in the movie, I was riveted to the television. What a concept! I thought. The test of dreaming. Jason was given a very large sum of money, told to dream, and do whatever he wanted with it. And just in case you decide to watch the movie, that’s where I’ll stop. The timing of watching this movie was perfect for me. I was in a season of reexamining my life, analyzing the past, and wrestling with the future. As part of this process I planned a week alone to think and pray. We were living in Colorado at that time. I had a cabin reserved for the week, but when I arrived, it just didn’t feel right. I decided to follow my instincts: This isn’t the place. I called Ceci and asked her to check online for another location, preferably in Estes Park, Colorado. I would start driving in that direction. The place she found was more than perfect. The Americana-themed decor reminded me of my calling, and the altar and a Cross out back reminded me of Moriah, a special place of dreaming mentioned in Scripture (Genesis 22). Though I was unaware of it, God had planned that He and I would dream together in this place. Perhaps you aren’t aware of Moriah and its rich biblical history. It is the mountain where Abraham took Isaac, at God’s instruction, to offer him as a sacrifice. God stopped him from doing so, of course. He had only wanted to paint a picture of Himself offering His Son on the altar of the cross centuries later. Moriah was the actual place where this would occur! There, on that momentous mountain, Abraham and God dreamed together. Abraham was told to envision the day he would have so many descendants they would be a great nation. God envisioned the day He would recapture His dream of family. And though Abraham didn’t yet understand it, the two dreams were intricately entwined. God would use this patriarch’s dream to recapture His. Messiah would come through the nation Abraham would birth. God had big dreams for another nation: America. Some people find it ludicrous to think Yahweh birthed America for His purpose, His dream. Indeed, some find the assertion heretical, screaming, “Christian nationalism! God would never create a nation for the primary purpose of announcing the good news that Abraham’s nation was used to birth. He no longer raises up and uses nations. He only uses individuals now.” How ridiculous. He is Lord over the nations (Psalm 22:28). Acts 17:26 tells us He appoints the times and boundaries of nations; Daniel 2:21 informs us that He chooses rulers. Are we to believe that when raising up nations and leaders He never has His most important cause in mind: the redemption of the world through the sacrifice of His Son?! This destiny on America doesn’t suggest He loves us more than other people. God loves “the world,” every “whosoever,” on the planet (John 3:16). Nor does it imply that other nations don’t have important callings from God. For a nation to be chosen as an “evangelist to the world,” as Robert Hunt prayed over America at Cape Henry in 1607, doesn’t give us elite status, any more than a person called from their birth to be an evangelist does. Yes, it is a very high calling, but not a high status. God unquestionably raised up America to send the gospel to all the earth. This was His dream for us. The American Dream of living free and prospering through hard work is good. But it is not the ultimate gift God had in mind for us, any more than it was for Abraham. “I will make of thee a great nation and I will bless thee…and thou shalt be a blessing…and in thee shall all the nations of the earth be blessed,” He told Abraham. (Genesis 12:2-3) Fallen human nature caused Americans to forget God’s dream as they pursued their own. He wants to unite the dreams again. As you pursue “the American Dream,” don’t forget His. Pray with me: Father, Your plan for America was very clear: to be a “nation evangelist” to the world. You gave us the liberty and prosperity to make this possible. Like Israel, we failed You, even rebelled from You, many times. But thankfully, Your mercy is greater than our sin; You redeem and restore. Just as You did many times with Israel, You are restoring America back to You and to this purpose. We will experience a revival that not only saves us, but also restores passion for our destiny. Evangelists will go forth from America’s shores by the thousands, and evangelism will go forth through the airwaves. Your Kingdom will come, Your will be done. Let Your hammer fall where needed, Your fire burn what needs to be burned, and the rain of Holy Spirit fall on our land. Even now, we hear the sound of abundant rain. May Your dreams for Earth’s greatest harvest come true, and may we be a part of this. I also pointed out that for millennia, evergreen trees have symbolized covenant, going all the way back to Abraham in Genesis 21:33. There, Abraham planted a tamarisk tree, which is an evergreen, and called on the Everlasting God. He was declaring his covenantal allegiance to Yahweh. The Appeal to Heaven flag also has an evergreen tree on it. When we appeal to heaven, we are appealing to the God who keeps covenant. Doing so birthed our nation, and is now rebirthing it. In a dream given to me in 2007, I knocked out spiritual giants wearing boxing gloves imprinted with the words “Evergreen” and “Everlast.” I then stated that in order to take out the spiritual giants of our day, we would have to wear those two gloves. In using the “Evergreen” glove, Holy Spirit was showing me that one of the ways we would take out the spiritual giants ruling America was through the power of covenant. I discuss all of this thoroughly in my book An Appeal to Heaven. When I speak of America being in a covenantal alliance with God, I am not referring to our covenant with Him through Christ, but of promises we made to Him accepting His purposes for us. There are different types and levels of covenant. Most of us use the word only in reference to God’s covenant with Abraham and his offspring, or when referring to the New Covenant we enjoy through Christ. Because of this, many shy away from language stating that America is in a covenant relationship with God. I understand this caution. However, the word for covenant in Scripture has a much broader range of meanings. The Hebrew word is beriyth.(1) It means “a compact, covenant, alliance, pledge, promise, treaty, agreement, league; a constitution, ordinance.” Simply stated, a covenant is a binding promise or agreement between two or more parties. Some covenants are legally binding, as in a contract. They can be between individuals, as in a marriage or friendship, or between entire groups of people. In our culture, homeowners make contracts - covenants - with other homeowners; nations enter into covenants or contracts with other nations, often called treaties or alliances. And, of course, covenants can be entered into with God. Based on these definitions, there are clearly different levels and strengths of covenants. In God’s eyes, a marriage covenant is more binding than two friends promising to stick with one another. He always expects us to keep our word, but we do not become one with someone through a friendship covenant. The old and new covenants in Scripture obviously rise to higher levels than other covenants. The new covenant through Christ’s blood stands above all covenants. As I mentioned, some covenants are contractually or legally binding; others are binding only in the sense of honor, integrity, and principle. Obviously, the vast majority of them are not blood covenants, as many were in Scripture. When I state that America is in covenant with God, I am NOT referring to the type of blood covenant Yahweh entered into with Abraham. And I’m certainly not placing it on the level of our covenant with God through Christ. Nor am I suggesting that it was ratified with a blood sacrifice of some sort. God did not enter into a blood covenant with America, and there will never be an agreement with a person or nation that rises to the level of our covenant with God through the blood of Christ. However, America’s early Pilgrims, and later our Founding Fathers, did enter into sacred alliances with God. This was done through prayers, promises, and written documents - including our founding documents. The Pilgrims believed God led them to this land, and our Founders believed He was involved in the forming of our nation. Both groups were convinced that He had a divine purpose for this land, and for the nation that was eventually formed here. The earliest European settlers to America planted a Cross on the beach at Cape Henry and dedicated this land to God’s Kingdom purposes and plan, actually using the word “covenant” in this decree. Scripture was actually inscribed on the Liberty Bell, which rang at our nation’s birth. Our Founders made declarations stating that we were a nation under God, and that this land existed for His purposes, not just our own. They formed a government under His guidance and declared their dependence on Him. Four times He is mentioned in the Declaration of Independence, including an appeal to Him for freedom and liberty. The Framers referred to Him in the Constitution and asked for His guidance and help when writing it, acknowledging that “Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it” (Psalm 127:1). Yahweh was prophesying through Robert Hunt at Cape Henry. He inspired the words on the Liberty Bell. He guided the early patriots as they wrote the Declaration of Independence and Constitution. God birthed this nation and gave our Framers the wisdom and language to use. No other document was quoted more by our Founders in their written communications than the Bible. God initiated and was pleased with this relationship. He inspired the alliance and has blessed America due to her partnership with Him. America absolutely has a covenantal alliance with God. It is little wonder that satanic forces are trying to revise our history. Satan knows covenant roots are powerful. He is fully aware that God keeps covenant and mercy (Deuteronomy 7:9) and expects us to do the same. That means He honors and fulfills covenant. Do not be deceived or distracted by the lies and indoctrination of the left. They will lose; God will win. Atheists, leftists, liberals, and revisionists cannot steal our covenantal history with God unless we allow it, and we will not do so. Hold fast to it and use it in your prayers. Let’s do so now. Pray and decree with me: We decree that: America was raised up by God to be a city on a hill, a beacon of light to all nations. America was called to preach the gospel of the Kingdom to all nations of the earth, and to serve all nations. America is “one nation, under God.” We have put our trust in Him and no other. We have no king but Jesus. The phrases “Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God,” an appeal to the “Supreme Judge of the world,” “the Creator,” and “divine Providence” are all in our Declaration of Independence. We decree that this legal document gives us authority still today. We declare into the atmosphere of America that our faith is still in this God! Leviticus 25:10 is on the Liberty Bell: “Proclaim liberty throughout the land to all the inhabitants thereof.” This verse, referencing Christ as the world’s Redeemer, was announced at our birth through the ringing of the bell, proclaiming both our faith in Christ and our destiny. We declare its message over America again today: Christ is our Redeemer! Proclaiming His message is our purpose! Yahweh is our Judge, our Lawgiver, and our King (Isaiah 33:22), and our three branches of government were formed according to heaven’s pattern and under His rule! Our government will return to this! God had a plan for our restoration before we even rebelled against Him! The Lord’s redeeming power is greater than satan’s deceiving lies, and His truth will prevail! It is very relevant for now. I mentioned the dream yesterday and will do so again today. In the dream, demons were destroying the roots of a huge tree on a hill. The tree represented America. The demonic actions were exposed and the tree was saved. Here is the fascinating and important dream again: “I dreamed I was with several prayer leaders, including Dutch Sheets. We were walking through a field with tall grass and noticed a hill ahead of us. This caught our attention because it was the only hill around us. The rest of the land was a level, grassy field. “On top of a hill was a huge, very old, beautiful tree. We were so captivated by this tree that we decided to climb the hill to get closer. The tree was the only thing on the hill, and the canopy was so large that the shade from it covered the entire hill. The ground around the tree was level, and the grass was tall and thick, much like the field we had just left. “We were in awe of this beautiful tree, amazed at the size of the trunk and the massive expanse of its canopy. As we all walked around it, looking up into the branches of the tree, someone tripped over what appeared to be a root protruding out of the ground. Then, all of a sudden, these ‘roots’ appeared everywhere. Where there had once been tall, thick grass, there was none. Now, only the roots that had not been there when we first came to the tree, were lying everywhere on top of the ground. “We were all very puzzled by this, so I walked over and looked more closely at one of the ‘roots.’ I could see that it was moving! This had not been obvious until I looked more closely. I motioned for my assistant, Darlene, to join me and whispered to her, ‘Watch this!’ And we both could clearly see this ‘root’ was moving. “I walked over to Dutch and said, ‘Dutch, these are not roots; these are the backbones of demons. They’re alive, and they are eating the root system of this beautiful tree.’ The demons didn’t realize we could see them, but with their backbones exposed, we could see their movements. “By this time, others had joined us, and I asked, still whispering, ‘What do we do about this?’ “Dutch responded, ‘I know what to do about it!’ “He then walked away for a moment, and came back carrying a perfectly carved wooden staff. “Someone asked, ‘What is that?’ “I said, ‘This is a staff that has been carved from an old tamarisk tree. Tamarisks are evergreens.’ “Dutch nodded his head ‘Yes’; then handed the staff to me, and I walked over to one of the demon’s backbones. I struck it with the tamarisk staff, and when I did, the demon vanished. I could actually hear the sound, ‘poof,’ and it was gone. I began walking from ‘root’ to ‘root’, striking them with the tamarisk staff. Then, somehow, all of the other people with me had staffs, also carved from tamarisk evergreens. They, too, were using their staffs to destroy the demons. Together, we destroyed every demon and saved the tree.” End of dream. ************ INTERPRETATION I pointed out in yesterday’s post that the tree represents America. Demonic plans and strategies were being “uncovered” and destroyed. This is most certainly what is occurring in America today. It is safe to say that there has never been a season in America’s history where as much corruption in government has been uncovered. The past four years have been one continuous exposing of evil and corruption. And now the shocking revelations have hit warp speed. Americans will ultimately be shown that their corrupt government has wasted trillions of their hard-earned dollars for illegitimate causes. In the dream, the power to stop the demonic destruction came from staffs made of tamarisk wood. The tamarisk tree was significant in the life of Abraham. “Abraham planted a tamarisk tree at Beersheba, and there he called on the name of the Lord, the Everlasting God” (Genesis 21:33; NASB). Tamarisks are evergreens and for millennia evergreens have symbolized covenant. I write about this in my book, An Appeal To Heaven.(1) The tamarisk evergreen tree Abraham planted symbolized his covenant with Yahweh. Many believe, myself included, that the evergreen tree placed on the Appeal To Heaven flag also represented covenant. And in a dream I was given in 2007, evergreen trees certainly represented covenant – and became a weapon. With special boxing gloves, one of which had the word “Evergreen” imprinted on it, I knocked out five giants. And in Gina’s dream, demons trying to destroy America were defeated with staffs made of tamarisk evergreens. The dream was clearly telling us that America’s covenant alliance with God is a “weapon” we must use to save her (the tree). MORE ABOUT THE TAMARISK TREE The tamarisk evergreen tree, chosen by Abraham to represent his covenant with God, has several unique features that are symbolic of our covenant connection to God. They are wonderful shade trees and live hundreds of years. However, tamarisks are also slow-growing. They grow only an inch per year, taking 400 years to reach their full height. “Because the tree is so slow growing, no one would plant a tamarisk for him or herself; he or she would never personally benefit from it. When planting this slow-growing, long-living, covenantal tree, Abraham was thinking of his descendants. Future generations! He was making a powerful declaration that would endure for generations, ‘I am in covenant with Everlasting God, and you will sit under the shade of my everlasting covenant with Him.’”(2) Amazing! The magnificent tree representing America in the dream was also producing great shade. America’s Founders planted an incredible “shade tree” for future generations, saying through their actions - just as Abraham did to the generations following him - “You will sit under the shade of our covenant with God.” Our forefathers formed a nation under God, a land in covenant with Him, one that could endure. America has been incredibly blessed because of her partnership with Yahweh. Millions of people here and around the world have enjoyed the “shade” of these covenant blessings. We must save the shade tree called America for our children, grandchildren, and yes, for the world. Our war for America is truly spiritual, not just ideological. America was called to be “a shining light, a city on a hill.” She was called to take the gospel of the Kingdom to the ends of the earth. This is what we are warring for. As America returns to her covenant roots, she will prosper once again. We, the praying church, must facilitate this by understanding and releasing the power of our covenant with God, symbolized by the tamarisk tree staffs. One of the ways we can release this power is by decreeing covenantal declarations and writings of our Founders. Let’s do so today, striking the enemy with the “tamarisk” staff. This symbolism was sometimes expanded to include an everlasting or lifelong commitment to a covenant. At a significant time in their history, a great leader united five native tribes (with a later addition of a sixth), establishing a confederacy among them. Tamarisks are evergreens.’ “Dutch nodded his head yes. He then handed the staff to me, and I walked over to one of the demon backbones. I struck it with the evergreen staff and, as I did, the demon vanished. I could physically hear the sound ‘poof,’ and it was gone. I began walking from ‘root’ to ‘root,’ hitting them with the evergreen staff. I then looked at the other prayer leaders and noticed that they all now had staffs in their hands made from evergreens. They, too, were using the staffs to destroy the demons. Together, we shattered every demon and saved the tree.” End of dream. INTERPRETATION The large, beautiful tree high on the hill, surrounded by green grass, obviously represents America. Our nation has long been referred to as “a city on a hill,” spoken of frequently by our nation’s founders and leaders. No less than 13 Presidents have used this phrase in referencing America. “‘A City upon a Hill’ is a phrase derived from the teaching of Salt and Light in Jesus's Sermon on the Mount (from Matthew 5:14). In a modern context, it is used in United States politics to refer to America acting as a "beacon of hope" for the world.(1) The green grass around the tree represents the blessing and prosperity of God (Psalm 23:2). America has been blessed and exalted for centuries under God’s favor and blessings. In the dream, however, the green pastures had disappeared and the roots were now being destroyed by demons. It doesn’t take an arborist to know that a tree can still look and seem healthy for some time, even when the roots have begun to die. America has been dying for quite some time. No honest person can deny this. Our government became dishonest, much of our education system is a failure, our financial health has been hanging by a thread, freedom of speech has been attacked, we kill our babies, we don’t know male from female, kindergartners have been taught that they can change their gender, our past president was mentally challenged and the laughingstock of the world, our history has been revised, and the church - God’s remedy for these evils - became weak and a subculture, rather than being salt and light. To state that the grass is no longer green and the roots of the tree are dying is an understatement. In the dream, demons, previously hidden underground and thinking they were still hidden, could be seen destroying the roots of this great tree. This is such an accurate and horrifying portrayal of what has been occurring in America! Through sin, compromise, lies, and deception, demons have been destroying America’s godly roots. People are being used, of course, but the real cause behind America’s demise has been demonic. While we must work to stop the plans and attempts of those the enemy uses, these attempts will fail if we don’t deal with the spiritual, demonic source. In the dream, their activity was exposed. God has been and continues to expose the corruption and evil in America at shocking levels. When the 2020 election was not turned around as so many hoped, I (one of many) began sensing and saying, “This delay is to bring exposure of the evil at work in America.” I knew God would reveal evil, corruption, lies, and devious intentions. But I must admit that I didn’t foresee the absolute insanity and depth of depravity that would be revealed. In the dream, government didn’t save the tree’s roots; it cannot do so. Only prayer can save the roots, and has been doing so. However, as the demonic activity is destroyed, righteous government can become part of the solution. Church activities and programs, good preaching and teaching, evangelism programs and Bible studies; government leaders, actions and programs, better laws; changes in our education system; an honest media – these are all essential but cannot save America. Only God, through the power of prayer, including spiritual warfare, can save America. We must have a resurrection! Thankfully, that is occurring. In tomorrow’s post, I will discuss the tamarisk staff. Pray with me: Father, You caused America to become a city on a hill, providing light to many nations of the earth. You made us a flourishing tree, providing shade throughout the world. Then we gave place to demons by yielding to pride and perversion. In our sinful arrogance we rejected You and Your ways, believing our own strength and wisdom created this great nation. Our fall has been epic. We have no doubt become the laughingstock of hell. Led by fools, we sold our birthright for a bowl of soup. Wallowing in slop and feeding on the husks meant for swine, Your prodigal nation is gradually coming to its senses. We are seeing the depths of our sin and the insanity it produced. Though it is painful, please continue to expose the evil that has ruled our nation, so we can return to Your house. Save us as You have promised, Father. We know You will do so. We boldly declare that 2025 will go down in history as the launch of Earth’s greatest revival. Save not only America, but pour out Your Spirit throughout the nations. I can see a tidal wave of revival coming! Bring this saving wave, in Jesus’ name. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he. Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.” (KJV) Most scholars believe David was somewhere between 10 to 15 years of age when this occurred. However, it was over 20 years before Samuel’s prophecy was fulfilled in 2 Samuel 5:1-5: “Then came all the tribes of Israel to David unto Hebron, and spake, saying, Behold, we are thy bone and thy flesh. Also in time past, when Saul was king over us, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the LORD said to thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be a captain over Israel. So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a league with them in Hebron before the LORD: and they anointed David king over Israel. David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years. In Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years over all Israel and Judah.” According to these verses David was 30 years old when he became king. However, the first 7 years of his reign David was King over only the tribes of Judah and Benjamin, commonly referred to simply as Judah (verses 4-5); Saul’s son, Ish-bosheth, ruled over the actual nation of Israel. During the seven years David ruled Judah, his throne was in Hebron. Finally, when he was 37, David was made king over all of Israel, and moved his throne to Jerusalem, as described in the remainder of the chapter. The math isn’t complicated: if David was 10 years old when Samuel anointed him, it means he waited 27 years before the word was fulfilled; if he was 11 when anointed, he waited 26 years, and so on. My point is simply that David waited a long time before his word came to pass. And the waiting was anything but pleasant. During those years, David was horribly persecuted by King Saul, became an outcast from Israel, lived in caves, and struggled to survive. His home was not a palace, but a cave named Adullam. Many of the psalms were written during this time. In Psalm 27:1, David penned, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life; whom shall I dread?” (NAS) These words are much more meaningful when we realize David wrote them by candlelight in a dark, damp cave, during a time when the king of Israel had a bounty on his head. David did not write the incredible 23rd Psalm, which has brought comfort to untold millions over the years, in a coffee shop or an air-conditioned office. He wrote it while fleeing from Saul, in exile from his own people, and living among strangers - even enemies. His life was continually threatened. The Psalm is an outpouring of David’s confidence in the Lord and trust in His care, even when experiencing the very real threat of death. He used memories of shepherding and protecting his father’s sheep to picture the Lord’s care for him. “Just as I was their shepherd, You are my Shepherd.” David was declaring. “You feed me, protect me, and comfort me.” He wrote the amazing 91st Psalm during this same season of his life. While living in caves, David declared that he was dwelling in the shelter of the Most High, abiding in the shadow of the Almighty. Take some time and read this Psalm as you consider David’s circumstances. What amazing declarations of faith; what an incredible trust in the Lord he possessed. God did not waste David’s Adullum years; they were part of his training: • He learned to trust • He learned to lead, beginning with his army of misfits and outcasts • He learned humility • He learned to overcome rejection and betrayal • He learned to appreciate the small things • He learned to wait • He learned of God’s faithfulness • And he learned to love the presence of God When a journey toward a God-given promise becomes unexpectedly long, is plagued with difficult delays and fraught with monumental challenges, remember that the delays haven’t taken Him by surprise. He knew how long it would take, foresaw the obstacles, planned how you would overcome them, and determined how He would use them to prepare you for your destiny. When you finally arrive at the goal, you’ll realize you didn’t arrive late. Because He was aware of the upcoming delays, your Father simply started the journey far enough in advance to use the delays as part of your training. He made them serve you, and got you to your destination right on time… just like He did David. One more thing. The seven years David spent reigning over Judah in Hebron were not unimportant or insignificant, just one more delay waiting for “the real thing.” Hebron means “covenantal friendship;” it was actually here that God’s friend, Abraham, was buried. God wanted David to know, before he rose to the throne over all of Israel, that the ultimate key to success was intimacy with Him. Hebron was also the mountain city in the promised land where Caleb conquered its greatest giant. The Lord needed David to know that covenant with Him was the key to overcoming life’s giants. “Learn that lesson, David, and you’ll be ready for the ultimate throne in Jerusalem.” The purpose of the post today is to remind all of us that when it seems a promise from God is taking forever, this is neither without purpose nor was it unexpected by Him. He is using the time to accomplish His purposes. This is true for us as individuals, and also for nations. God knew how long it would take to restore America, and started early enough to get us to the finish line right on time. Not only will America be saved, she will be saved right on time. We have conquered our Adullam’s, killed our giants, learned many lessons, built our friendship with God, and are now heading toward Jerusalem. Stay the course..! Pray with me: Father, we have been on a long journey to see America saved and restored. Like David, we occasionally experience setbacks, demonic opposition, the actions of unrighteous leaders, abusive policies, and other delays. Please keep the ekklesia reminded that these delays have not taken You by surprise, that You planned ahead for our victories, and just how You would use the battles to mature us. As we move into a season in which we experience breakthroughs, please keep us reminded that we must persevere in our prayers. Give increasing revelation to the church that our unseen prayers can literally produce visible results in Washington D.C., and other cities here and abroad. May we not leave our posts on the wall, watching and listening for Your alerts and instructions. We pray that the exposure of the Deep State in America continues. You said righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people. (Proverbs 14:34) We have been disgraced by unrighteous actions in our nation, and the people indeed groan under the weight of sin and deceit. Continue to use good and wise leaders to expose, expose, expose. And as You cleanse and heal America, use this restoration to bring a season of peace on the Earth that is conducive to tremendous harvest. We call forth the billion soul harvest You have spoken of, just as Ezekiel was commanded to do. (Ezekiel 37) And we pray all of this in the name that gives us access to You, Jesus. America now has borders – the endless flow of illegals has been checked, and the flow of fentanyl is being curbed. It is hard to grasp that this drug from hell had become the leading cause of death in America of those aged 18 to 45, yet so many had no desire to stop it. One has to wonder at the motivation. This evil has killed hundreds of thousands. I know some of them, so do you. Thank God, there are now some in positions of authority who care. Boys and men are no longer allowed to invade girls’ locker rooms, nor rob them of their hard-earned medals. According to a report on Fox News, as of March 30th, 2024, 600 female athletes in more than 400 competitions have lost more than 890 medals in 29 different sports.(1) America will now be allowed to move beyond the insane green energy policies and utilize the abundance of resources available to us, curbing the horrible inflation that has become so crippling to many. Fox reported that from January 2021 to December 2024, energy inflation increased by 33% overall, with fuel oil increasing 47.2%, gasoline 34.2%, and electricity 29.8%.(2) Our tax dollars will stop funding abortion and the unconscionable mutilation of our children. Antisemitism will now be stopped in our universities and on our streets. The crime rate will go down as murderers, rapists, and thieves are imprisoned and/or sent back to their country of origin. And our military can now become strong again, providing peace through strength to the nations of the world. Vance said during his remarks at the International Religious Freedom Summit on Wednesday, “We are only in the third week of [Trump’s] second term, but I think it’s safe to say we’ve accomplished maybe more in the last two weeks than a lot of administrations have in a few years. But this administration is intent on not just restoring but expanding the achievements of the first four years and certainly of the last two weeks… “In this short period, the president has issued orders to end the weaponization of the federal government against religious Americans, pardon pro-life protesters who were unjustly imprisoned under the last administration, and importantly, stop the federal censorship used to prevent Americans from speaking their conscience and speaking their mind, whether it’s in their communities or online,” Vance added.(3) Perhaps one of the most shocking things occurring through Trump’s team is the exposure of the incredible waste and fraud in our government. As the astronomical dollar amounts are being released - numbering in the hundreds of billions, will no doubt end up being trillions - it is mindnumbing to hear the reports. It is also shocking to see the resistance to this. Watching large numbers of people in the swamp manifest as this occurs is like watching a colony of roaches when the lights are turned on. They are becoming rabid. As a matter of fact, it is suddenly okay to promote war in the streets, as was done in Tuesday’s protest by members of Congress over the exposures at USAID. One wonders why they aren’t pleased to see the waste and fraud uncovered. It turns out much of the aid being sent to other nations, billions and billions of dollars, has been to fund terrorism, DEI, and other leftist ideologies. More exposure will be forth-coming when Patel and Bondi begin turning on the lights at the DOJ and FBI — no wonder the perpetrators are scurrying like rats and screaming like banshees. Our country has been led, off and on, by some very evil people in the last few decades. They were entrenched and came to believe they could operate with impunity, unmonitored and ungoverned. But the veil is being lifted, and the piper is about to demand his wages. What should be our response to all of this? Continue to pray for the exposure of darkness and corruption. Pray that those making righteous changes are protected, make wise decisions, stay humble while maintaining boldness, remain pure of heart, and persevere. Bind the plans of darkness to oppose righteous leaders, confuse and deceive people, and stop the needed changes. As you pray, remember that this unfolding process to save America is two-fold: revival and reformation. The saving and delivering of individuals, as commanded by Jesus in Mark 16:15-20 (revival) is beginning, in tandem with the discipling of nations, as He commissioned us in Matthew 28:18-20 (reformation). These dual activities will result in monumental transformation. They are different but related – two parts of a whole, two manifestations of the salvation of God. Pray for both. The changes produced by each will be short-lived without progress in the other. Don’t be distracted by the manifestations of angry people and demons. Love the people and pray for their salvation, while also praying that the principles of God’s Kingdom are released into every segment of society. Pray that a great awakening of revelation and truth invades the body of Christ. We will need an understanding of how to: reshape wineskins without compromising the message; create intimacy with God without allowing our traditions to hinder the process; and win a generation that has become incredibly disillusioned and cynical. We will need wisdom from heaven regarding how to heal cultures and nations, repairing centuries-old breaches and wounds. This will not only be the greatest revival in history; it could very well be the most challenging. Pray that as young leaders emerge, both within the church and in other segments of our nation, there will be no breaches that develop between young and old. Pray that both age groups have the humility to accept the other, along with a desire to honor their gifts. Pray that both remain flexible and teachable, that hearts join and align, and that no strategy to separate us succeeds. These are incredible days. As Paul stated in 1 Corinthians 16:9, great opportunities and open doors exist, but much opposition does, as well. Prayer will determine the outcome. It has been our appeals to heaven that have gotten us to this point, and it will be our appeals that get us to the finish line. Stay faithful. Pray with me: Father, we humbly thank You for Your mercy and grace; we thank You for our salvation. It is because of Your mercies that we have not been consumed, overtaken by judgment and reaping. It continues to be proven that Your mercy triumphs over judgment. You love the world; that is why Jesus came. You love people in every nation, from every tribe and tongue. We know You have a plan to rescue millions and millions of them from the strongholds of darkness in our time. Heaven’s greatest Kingdom endeavor yet is unfolding. You are the Master Planner, heaven’s great Architect, and He who declares the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10). Your Kingdom is eternal and ever-increasing (Isaiah 9:7), Your authority is complete, and Your power is limitless. The inferior powers of darkness will not foil You. We are overwhelmed with gratitude that You brought us into Your family and made us joint heirs with Jesus, Your Son, and our Savior. We are amazed and honored that You have made us partners with You in the great cause of redeeming people from the power of sin and darkness. May we be found faithful. In this critical hour of history, expose and destroy the evil plans of darkness, tear down their strongholds, and free their captives. Let the light shine brighter than at any time in history. Heal America and other nations of the world, and save a billion or more people. We ask this in the holy name of Jesus. 6 min read https://www.givehim15.com/post/february-6-2025 February 6, 2025 The Power of A Testimony In yesterday’s post, I shared some testimonies of healing from Tommy and Miriam Evans’ book Decrees that Activate the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. I found it interesting that some of those healings occurred during testimonies of other people being healed. Here are a couple of those testimonies from yesterday, quoted from the book: “Another woman who was deaf for 15 years had her hearing completely restored while I was ministering in South Carolina. I simply said to the crowd, ‘You have permission to be healed while we worship!’ When she was able to hear, she ran up to the pastor, and they interrupted the service for her to share. A woman in the crowd was healed of severe tinnitus just by listening to the testimony. The woman with tinnitus shared her story with a woman at a restaurant later that day; that woman was also healed of tinnitus in the middle of the restaurant! “While preaching in Indiana, I began to share testimonies of how God healed people through a group of believers praying over a handkerchief (Acts 19:12). While speaking, a man in the back was in a wheelchair, and he stood up and began to shuffle around the room. His wife and daughter began to cry. I asked for a report, and they said he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s and normally could not walk. He walked out to his car that night as his wife pushed his wheelchair and loaded it in the trunk. God is so good!”(1) Several years ago, I had an interesting experience with the Lord that eventually led to an understanding of why testimonies of healing produce healing. While in worship, I heard Holy Spirit say, “I am bringing you full circle.” I knew the “you” was plural - not just me, but we, the body of Christ. As I continued meditating on this, Holy Spirit gave me a vision; I was looking down from heaven to Earth and could see what appeared to be a circle being drawn on the ground. In the vision, I was then moved from above to a side view. From this perspective, I realized I wasn’t seeing a flat circle on the ground, but rather an upward spiral, like a giant coil. Using this as a visual aid, the Lord said to me, “Full circle, higher level. I have now taken the church to a new level. She will do once again works she has done before, but at higher levels of effectiveness. Another season of miracles will be released…revelation will be imparted…revival is coming…all at higher levels. The church is coming full circle, but at a higher level.” I mentioned this in a message a short time later, and a man approached me after the service. “I am a Spirit-filled, Messianic Jewish rabbi,” he said. “I found your vision and comments regarding the circle interesting. This is very similar to what we Jews believe regarding time, and a related word in the Hebrew language.” Continuing, he said, “Do you know what the word ‘testimony’ means in Hebrew?” I answered, “Well, I assume it means to give an account of something that occurred in the past.” “Not exactly,” he said, “the root Hebrew word for testimony means ‘to repeat, to do something again,’ or ‘do time again.’ It does not mean only to tell about or give witness of something.” What an interesting phrase, I thought - do time again. He continued, “We believe that when one declares what God did in the past, a testimony, it is in some ways like coming full circle - back to when He first performed the act, the beginning point. And when we do so, the same power released at the beginning is released now to ‘do it again.’ We’re ‘doing time again.’ “That’s why we believe it’s so important to tell our children what God did in the past, and why God was angry with Israel when they neglected to teach them Israel’s history. By failing to tell the story, they were not only failing to educate them about God and their history, but they were also failing to re-release His power. We believe that when we tell our children about the Exodus, relating how God delivered Israel from Egypt at Passover through great signs and wonders, the same saving power is released again. Our children receive the benefits of Passover and deliverance. We believe this power can be released again, and again, and again, and again. “We have actually begun acting on this principle,” he said, “by repeatedly sending believers who have been supernaturally healed to share their testimony over and over with others who are ill. They don’t pray for these individuals; they simply repeat their testimonies of healing. And people are being healed!” I was just, well…speechless. Testimonies don’t just encourage us or inspire faith; they release power? But he wasn’t finished! “It’s as though time becomes pregnant with God’s words and, therefore, His power. The Eternal God declares His eternal, living, and powerful words (Psalm 119:89; Hebrews 4:12) to accomplish something, and those words and the power they release are deposited in time. We can tap into this power by speaking His words and by declaring what He has done in the past.” To say this rabbi launched me on a quest would be an understatement. I set out to discover if these things were true. I’m still not certain I understand all of it, but I have at least been able to confirm some of what he said. In studying the Hebrew word for testimony, eduwth/eduth, I found that the root word (ud or uwd) means “repeat or do again.” The lexicon said It refers to “the continuance of a past event.” For this reason, the Arabic words for “return” and “habit” come from this same root.(2) As I considered all of this, I realized we have had elements of this concept in our Christian faith, but haven’t fully understood it. The best example is the preaching of the gospel, which Scripture says is “the power of God unto salvation” (Romans 1:16). We know power is released when we re-tell the gospel story, the same power to save, deliver, and heal that was generated at Calvary 2000 years ago. God’s power is in the story, just waiting to be released in the telling. Many believe, and I am one of them, that when we eat the bread and drink the cup of Communion, the same power and provision generated at Calvary should be received by us again. We are to “partake of” it, which is what the word for communion actually means (koinonia)(3). Sadly, many have not been taught this and therefore, do not activate their faith to receive it. But the power of the Cross remains in this covenantal act, and when we “eat this bread and drink this cup…retelling the story, proclaiming our Lord’s death until he comes” ‭‭(1 Corinthians‬ ‭11‬:‭26‬ ‭TPT‬‬) power is available. As I pondered this, I found myself wondering: maybe this is why the Bible says, “We overcome by the blood of the Lamb, and the word of our TESTIMONY!” (Revelation 12:11). Perhaps this is why it is important that “The redeemed of the Lord SAY SO!” (Psalm 107:2). Tell the stories! Pray with me: Father, what a fascinating thought - testimonies of healing produce healing. You release power to heal in several ways: touching or laying hands on someone, the spoken Word, anointing people with oil as a symbol of Holy Spirit, the prayer of agreement, acts of faith, intercession, anointed prayer cloths…and testimonies. We are hungry for Holy Spirit’s manifestations and gifts. As we move into a season where His gifts operate at increased levels, remind us that we must never formularize how He works. You resist “boxes,” religious routines that we turn into formulas. At times miracles will simply occur as we talk about miracles. Give us childlike faith to believe, obey, tell the story, and come full circle. In Jesus name, amen. 6 min read https://www.givehim15.com/post/february-4-2025 February 4, 2025 INTRODUCTION My friend, Larry Sparks, recently sent me an exciting and informative new book by Tommy and Miriam Evans entitled: Decrees that Activate the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. I use the word “exciting” not just due to the information it contains, but also because Holy Spirit motivating them to release this book now is just one more indicator of the kairos time we have moved into. The Lord is further preparing us for the great outpouring that has already begun. I also used the word “informative” to describe the book. It was written not only by two great teachers, but by two “doers” – the Evans move powerfully in the gifts of the Spirit on a regular basis (1 Corinthians 12). Tommy and Miriam use their experiences to illustrate the Scriptures, providing balanced and practical guidance. This direction, by the way, not only instructs us how to operate in the gifts of the Spirit, but also how to receive and develop these essential tools. It is truly a handbook. My brother, Tim Sheets, states in the book’s foreword: “Our friends Tommy and Miriam Evans have been anointed to produce this very timely handbook of practical wisdom. You will find yourself turning to it time and time again. Within these pages are spiritual insights that can help the body of Christ grow and mature and release the decrees of faith.” Larry Sparks, who sent me the book, ministers with the Evans on a regular basis. He wrote an article based on the book’s content, as well as his insights on what God is currently saying to the church regarding this important subject. I believe this subject is so critical, I want to share the article and promote this wonderful book here on Give Him 15. I will share Part One of the article today and Part Two tomorrow. The title of Larry’s article is: DECREE AND DEMONSTRATE (PART 1) There have been many exceptional training resources developed on the gifts of the Holy Spirit. From Derek Prince to Lester Sumrall to Norval Hayes to Kenneth Hagin and others, the body of Christ has been given sound, biblical instructions on these gifts. This has provided a foundation for the unique kairos moment we are stepping into. The teachings of a previous generation are going to be demonstrated by this generation at a whole new level. I, along with revivalists Tommy and Miriam Evans, have been traveling the nations, witnessing a collective hunger for the demonstration of the Holy Spirit and His supernatural power. And this has not been limited to a specific denomination. We’ve found ourselves ministering in various settings, from Southern Baptist to Lutheran, and even Catholic environments. Regardless of the setting, the results are the same. As the Word of God is preached, it paints a picture of what’s possible for people to experience from the Holy Spirit. He breathes upon the Word of God, igniting hearts to step into the realities Scripture introduces to them. These results demonstrate the moment we are in: It’s time to decree the Word and demonstrate the power. This reality is what birthed the book, Decrees that Activate the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Tommy and Miriam Evans were burdened by a desire to raise up revival practitioners, not simply revival theorists. I believe the simple encouragements and activations outlined in the book will be catalysts, launching many into a life saturated with Holy Spirit demonstration. A Vision of What’s Possible: Word and Spirit Describing this present kairos moment a bit more… I had a vision wherein I saw a minister delivering his sermon from an old-fashioned pulpit, similar to what you would see in the days of Jonathan Edwards and the Great Awakenings. I knew he was preaching verse by verse from Scripture---expository preaching. In the vision, I panned down towards the front of the church, right beneath the preacher. Usually, this is what we call the “altar” space. I was shocked by what I saw. While the minister preached, in that altar space I witnessed people shaking under the power of God. I saw some laughing uproariously as they were experiencing the oil of Holy Spirit joy, some being delivered from demonic torment, others being healed, and still others were being baptized in the Spirit. It was glorious, holy chaos. I watched as prayer teams moved seamlessly through the group of people as they were clearly being touched by the Holy Spirit. One would think this “disorderly” sight would cause distraction or commotion among the attentive congregation. It did not. I then panned across the congregation, witnessing something extraordinary. While this wild manifestation of the Spirit was taking place in the altar space, people sat in their seats, diligently taking notes. When something the minister said stirred the heart of one seated in the congregation, they would get out of their seats and move toward the altar space. There, these individuals would begin to have unique encounters with the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 14:40 was, in fact, taking place in this environment; everything was being done “decently and in order.” It’s just that sometimes decently and in order, from Heaven’s vantage point, looks like 120 disciples in an upper room being described as “drunk” after being filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts 2); or like a company of priests on their faces completely undone by God’s glory falling upon Solomon’s temple (1 Kings 8). In both the Old and New Testaments, we clearly see a connection between and an emphasis on the declaration of the Word and demonstration of Holy Spirit power. I’ve learned that if we treat the manifestations of the Holy Spirit as a disturbance and distraction, people will treat them that way. But if we actually celebrate the move of the Holy Spirit, with all of its uniqueness and unusual activity, we disciple people into identifying these manifestations as indicator lights of God’s holy presence in our midst. Manifestations become celebrated confirmations of the Word being preached. The Greatest Enemies of What God’s Doing… Right Now Much of our ministry and experience has been in western nations – the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and the USA. In the Western world, we mistakenly project that we have graduated from the wonder of the supernatural, as if “that miracle, signs and wonders stuff” is archaic and out of touch with modernity. We perceive that we have become more civilized and refined, when, in fact, we have moved away from the very thing that a generation is crying out for! Historian Tom Holland, author of the outstanding book Dominion: How the Christian Revolution Remade the World has been cited as saying that we need to preach “the weird stuff” and “take the supernatural seriously” in the context of the Christian church. Justin Brierley, author of Surprising Rebirth of Belief in God, has observed similar phenomena, especially among youth and young adults in the United Kingdom. Furthermore, Brierly’s observation is that atheism is not the great juggernaut that is opposing the advancement of Christianity. Perhaps it was in a previous era, but now, it would seem that more and more people—particularly GenZ and GenAlpha—are pursuing “spirituality.” The question is what kind of spirituality are they seeking and practicing? The greatest enemy that seeks to oppose the move of God in this generation is silence concerning the supernatural in the church. If contemporary Christianity keeps silent on the gifts, power, and move of the Spirit, the devil is waiting right outside our sanctuaries, seeking opportunities to provide counterfeit “power” to the spiritually hungry masses. [Tomorrow we will look at Part 2 of Larry’s teaching/article.] Pray with me: Father, as we move into revival and reformation, we find ourselves being awakened to needed changes – both in the church, and in our secular environments. You are indeed preparing us to be the church when we gather to worship and when we go forth into our daily activities. The spirit of revival and the seeds of reformation are in our land. We ask You to bring both to fulness through the power of Your Spirit. Your Word teaches us – as does history – that revival is fueled by the gifts of Your Spirit. We must have the release of these precious tools, enabling us to demonstrate the power of the gospel and the resurrection of Christ. We ask You for this. And we ask that resources and teachings, such as this powerful book by the Evans, be breathed upon mightily by You. Stir hearts in the church with a hunger for these gifts of the Spirit; bring a holy discontent for doing ministry without them. Then, satisfy this hunger with impartation and activation, invading hearts and impacting lives. It is time for this, and we are asking for it. In Jesus’ name we ask and in faith we say “Thank You!” Our decree: We decree that a new season is now upon the church, a season of Holy Spirit’s gifts being poured out. 5 min read https://www.givehim15.com/post/february-3-2025 February 3,2025 The Great Architect In Acts 3:21, we find the phrase “Times of restitution” (KJV). The word “times” is chronos,(1) meaning a general time or season; “restitution” is apokatistasis.(2) A better translation of this word in today’s vocabulary would be “reconstitute” or “restore.” The concept is restoring something to its original intent, purpose, or condition. It is a medical term used in Scripture only by Christ’s disciple, Dr. Luke, who wrote the book of Acts. The note in the Passion Translation says this medical term meant “Restoration to perfect health.” Another word we often use in the context of restoring something is “reformation.” In Scripture, this word is diorthosis(3) (Hebrews 9:10), meaning to straighten something crooked; to cause that which has fallen or is leaning to stand straight, even upright again. Diorthosis, like apokatistasis in Acts 3:21, involves restoring something to its original and appropriate condition. It is important to realize that they do not simply denote change. Change can be good or bad, appropriate or inappropriate. On the other hand, these two concepts involve restoring something to its original intent, condition, and/or purpose. America has been in a season of significant, inappropriate change for half a century. We are now moving into a time of restoration and reformation. Like a surgeon cutting out a cancer, a dentist removing an abscessed tooth, or a chiropractor twisting a body like a pretzel in order to make it straight again, America is being restored. And just as with the human body, the process can, at times, be painful. Surgeons, dentists, and chiropractors all hurt us to heal us. A therapist demands that we trade pain for gain. A home remodel becomes a mess before it becomes beautiful. Martin Luther’s great reformation was a giant upheaval of the religious and political world while also restoring the true gospel and liberating the people. Reformation can be challenging, complicated, and very messy, which brings me to Donald Trump and his allies. We would do well to remember that they are not simply making a few changes. America is well past the point where that would be enough. Like it or not, we have a cancer in our culture, an abscess in our government. We are twisted and out of alignment, in drastic need of straightening. The restoration is going to hurt, and it is going to be messy. At this point in history, America did not need a statesman. And we certainly did not need a politician. Frankly, and this will upset some of my religious friends, we did not need a peacemaker. We needed a “boat rocker,” a status quo wrecker, a business-as-usual interrupter. We are in the first part of Jeremiah 1:10; the second part is coming, but that will be a little slower: “See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.” Do I like everything Donald Trump says? Do I like all of his actions and attitudes? Do I like everything in his past? Of course not; that’s not why I voted for him. I voted for a reformer. And at this point, I am more interested in his willingness to face those destroying America than I am his language. I am more concerned about determination than diplomacy. I want a John the Baptist who is willing to make crooked places straight, remove mountains, and raise valleys. I want someone who will stare down the propaganda arm of the Democrat party, otherwise known as the mainstream media, and not be intimidated. I want someone who will build a military that is an effective war machine, not a woke machine. I want someone who will close our borders to all immigration that is not legal; someone who will demand that our education system teaches our children how to read; and someone who will stop the trans madness. I want healed children, not butchered children, common sense above Ivy League idiocy, and a Congress that can balance a checkbook. I want reformation. The progressive Left has used against us our desire for peace and “getting along.” They preach civility and spew venom; they speak of fairness while weaponizing government; they preach diversity and insist on conformity; and they speak of freedom while exerting control. For too long, those on the right have fallen prey to this hypocrisy. Hearing them criticize Trump, accusing him of inappropriate and insensitive statements, then listening as they sit on committees and model rudeness, character assassination, lying, and the misrepresentation of facts is both laughable and infuriating. They epitomize the evil and ugliness of the political spirit. The Left only wants to get along in order to get ahead. They are like the female black widow spider who says to the male, “Help me multiply, then I will kill and eat you.” Now that America has seen what they are doing to our nation, and has elected a man with backbone enough to resist it – and who also happens to be a person they tried desperately to humiliate and destroy – the Left is terrified. They maligned his character, turned our judicial system loose on him, “sicced” our FBI on him and his followers, and defiled his home. Now, he is even more angry and determined; their hypocritical cries for civility, kindness, and compromise are falling on deaf ears. The progressive Left is also watching 50 years of antichrist secularization and globalism dissolve, their media lose influence with the populous, and the American people stand up and say, “Enough!” DEI is being dismantled, DOJ employees and Inspectors General are being fired, lazy employees willing to trade blind loyalty for a free ride have been served notice, and billions of dollars are being pulled from worthless and ridiculous government programs. The Left is angry and horrified. The nation they “changed” is being “reformed.” The time will soon come when America needs builders, statesmen, and peacemakers. At this time, however, we are in the demo stage. As we find the termites, mold, leaks, and cracked foundations, we can repair, reconstitute, and restore. A great revival is coming to fuel this process, also causing the desired changes to align with God’s will and ways. Keep appealing, church. Do not trust this process to humans, regardless of how well-intentioned they are. Keep it in the hands of the great Heavenly Architect. Pray with me: Father, we know that both the political and religious worlds hated John the Baptist’s forerunner work. Jesus revealed their true hearts, pointing out that they didn’t like Him either. The truth was, they wanted a completely different Israel than John and Jesus were bringing. The progressive Left in America today doesn’t like Donald Trump, and it doesn’t like the church. We represent an America they don’t want and a Kingdom they despise. They are the Psalm 2 company that conspires against You, declaring that You will not rule over them. In this great Psalm, You offer repentance and honor toward Your son or destruction - nothing in between. We have no doubt that You love people enough to bring the revival and awakening we hear so much about; You love them enough not to allow the opposition of the antichrist forces to succeed. Expose their plans, tear down and demolish their structures, and destroy their systems. Use President Trump, his team, wise leaders in Congress and state governments, and righteous judges to do so. Give them wisdom, understanding, and strategic timing as they do this. Then give the same to those tasked to rebuild. Revive and reform America and let both be historic, monumental, and epochal. In the mighty name of Yeshua, we pray. With the intricacies of their language -- the various tenses, moods, forms, etc., the Greeks bragged that they could say more in one word than other languages could in an entire sentence. That’s why amplified and expanded versions are helpful. Another problem is that our translations often use one English word to translate multiple Greek words. This can at times be very problematic. For example, the word “power” is used to translate both dunamis and exousia. However, dunamis is literal power, as in dynamite;(1) exousia is authority, the right to rule or release power.(2) When not understood, this leads to misunderstanding. The New Testament tells us Jesus dealt with and delivered us from satan’s authority (exousia) – the RIGHT to use his power (dunamis) on believers (Colossians 1:13). Christ did not remove all of satan’s powers. The devil still has power, he simply has no legal right to use it on us. But since he is a thief and lawbreaker, he tries to do so anyway. Therefore, we must enforce Christ’s victory, exercising our authority (exousia) over satan’s power (dunamis). Timing The word “time” in the New Testament is another example of multiple Greek words, chronos and kairos, being translated with one English word. Chronos means chronological time – you can easily see that our English word chronology comes from this Greek word. Chronos is simply the general time or season in which something IS done.(3) Kairos, on the other hand, means well-timed, strategic time, opportune time; the time at which something SHOULD or MUST be done. Kairos would be the equivalent of our often used “window of opportunity.”(4) Wuest, a very literal translator of the New Testament, uses the following phrases to translate kairos: “epoch-making periods” (Acts 3:19); “strategic, significant period” (Acts 12:1); “strategic, epochal time” (Acts 19:23). Using his words, kairos times are strategic, significant, and potentially epoch-making. Kairos Temptation The parable of the sower is an example of where knowing the difference between these two words is important. Jesus said, “They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away” (Luke 8:13). “Time” is kairos. Knowing this brings the realization that Christ was saying satan times his temptations strategically, waiting for just the right time. This might be during weariness, confusion, disillusionment, spiritual laziness, and other opportune times. We must be aware of satan’s strategies and well-timed attacks. Spiritual Warfare and Kairos Prayers Another subject in Scripture where the use of kairos is extremely important is prayer. Hebrews 4:16 tells us to “come boldly to the throne of grace, to obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (KJV). While we know we are always welcome in the throne room of heaven, that is not the primary point of this verse. “Time” here is kairos, not chronos. God is telling us in this passage that we have a faithful and merciful High Priest, and we can approach Him boldly in our strategic times of need. The Amplified Classic translates the verse, “Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].” Wow! Ephesians 6, a chapter on spiritual warfare, is another passage where this distinction is important. Ephesians 6:18 says that we are to “be on the alert . . . for all the saints” and “pray at all times [kairos] in the Spirit.” God is not telling us here to pray all the time, which would be chronos, and would also be impossible. He is saying to pray at all strategic times (kairos). In other words, if we are alert for one another – in this spiritual war with the powers of darkness – Holy Spirit will warn us of the well-timed (kairos) attacks of the enemy. We can then pray, creating boundaries (one of the meanings of paga, the Hebrew word for intercession), a protective hedge, around the person. One morning, way back in 1978, (I was 10, 😊) as I was praying the Lord gave me a vision. I saw a rattlesnake coiled at my dad’s feet. I did not yet know the meaning of kairos, but I knew this was a warning. I spent about 15 minutes or so praying earnestly for his protection until I felt a release, a peace. I knew whatever danger was coming his way involving a rattlesnake had been dealt with. The next day he called me – he was in Florida, I was in Texas – and said, “You’ll never guess what happened yesterday. I almost stepped on a coiled rattlesnake in the shed. Fortunately, I saw it in time.” I said to Dad, “Yeah, I know.” Surprised, he asked, “How did you know?” “I saw it in a vision,” I responded, “and prayed for your protection. You owe me.” (I didn’t really say the part about him owing me. I acted really humble and said something to the effect of, “Praise God” or “Glory be to God.” You know how we do it.) In these strategic times of spiritual warfare, it is important that we stay alert for one another. Be sensitive to the promptings of Holy Spirit; when someone comes to mind, pray for them. They may need protection from harm, strength against temptation, or wisdom to deal with an important decision. This could be for a child, a parent, a friend, or the president. Yes, pray regularly for those in your family and for our government leaders. But also be alert for the kairos warnings; when they come, pray. Pray with me: Father, there are times (chronos) to pray, and then there are times (kairos) to pray. As we walk with You and learn Your ways, teach us also to hear Your voice and recognize Your promptings. Holy Spirit is our Guide, our Counselor, our Helper. We want to be sensitive to His voice and instructions. We know that in life there are accidents, things that happen because of people‘s carelessness or mistakes, and there are also spiritually caused attacks, orchestrated by satan. Help us to do as You instructed in Ephesians 6, being alert to Holy Spirit’s promptings, so we can pray for others as You lead. And we pray now regarding any attacks planned against our government officials. We ask for protection over the Justices on our Supreme Court, members of Congress, and President Trump and his Cabinet. Expose terrorists and violent criminals in our nation. Thwart their evil plans. We also pray for our spiritual leaders, those on the front lines of this spiritual warfare. Please protect them from evil, temptation, sickness, and disease. All of these things we pray in the name of our overcoming Lord and Savior, Jesus.
