https://www.givehim15.com/post/november-13-2025 November 13, 2025 Introduction Holy Spirit gave my friend, Chuck Pierce, a very important prophetic word this past weekend. It refers to a seven-day window and an assignment, running from this past Monday through this upcoming Sunday (Nov. 10-16). During this week-long window, the Lord is asking us to release praise to Him three times a day on behalf of our nation. The seven days have obviously already begun, but you can still participate. Please do so, perhaps even adding a few days, so that you also do a total of seven days. God will certainly honor that. You can find Chuck’s prophetic word and my explanation in yesterday’s post. For today and tomorrow, I would like to discuss why we praise the Lord and why God asks us to do so. Our title is: Why Our Praise Is a Weapon Elevators are convenient. . . and sometimes awkward. Who in their right mind likes being in an elevator with people they don’t know? The longer the ride, the louder the silence. Several years ago, I was trapped in the back of one of those torture chambers in the airport of one of the vacation capitals of the world - Orlando, Florida. There were only about a HUNDRED people in this elevator! Who hasn’t heard of Disney World, Epcot, and other hot spots there? And based on the lines at these tourist attractions, every person in the world has been there! Consequently, the airport is crowded and hectic. When the elevator stopped at my floor and the door opened, no one moved. After a couple of seconds, thinking no one else was getting off at this level, I spoke up rather urgently from the back, “Excuse me, I need to get off here.” You’d have thought I asked for everyone’s phone number! Backs stiffened, heads turned, eyes glared, and the man closest to the door turned and - in a most condescending tone - scolded me. “Be patient,” he snarled. “I’m just trying to be a gentleman and let the ladies off first.” After we all exited, one of the ladies with him turned to me and, rather snootily, decided to become my therapist: “You need a vacation, sir. We are in Orlando; why don’t you take a few days off and chill?” I was tired, and perhaps this had caused me to unintentionally speak louder than I realized. Or maybe my urgency sounded like impatience. What did I do? Being the godly man that I am, I took it on the chin and calmly moved on - WITH MY BLOOD PRESSURE ELEVATED AND MY INNER THOUGHTS EXPLAINING TO THEM WHAT IDIOTS THEY WERE! And being the spiritual giant I am, within a few short weeks, I had forgiven them - as you can tell! - and moved on. Doesn’t take me long! Most of us dislike being misunderstood and misjudged - especially in an elevator! I don’t think God likes it either, and He is, without doubt, the most misunderstood person in existence. Perceived as distant, He is often ignored. Considered judgmental and legalistic, He is thought by some to be intimidating and one to steer clear of. And mistakenly thought of by His children as one who likes hearing how great He is, He is praised. LOL - I had you, then I lost you. Before you stop reading or listening, hear me out. Obviously, praising and worshiping God is a good and appropriate thing to do. It’s our reason for doing so that needs some tweaking. Yahweh isn’t narcissistic, needing to be told how wonderful He is in order to satisfy an inflated ego. Nor is He insecure, needing to be reassured that He really is awesome. He doesn’t show off - praise doesn’t stimulate some macho corner of His heart, motivating Him to action in order to demonstrate His power. And He can’t be bought - our worship doesn’t cause Him to “reward” us with His presence and power simply because we made Him feel good. Frankly, God neither needs nor desires to be told how great, unique, powerful, or loving He is. The Almighty is quite confident and very secure. He does, however, seek worshipers. The difference is huge - immeasurably so. We ARE the worship. God longs for the singer, not the song. Our hearts are what transforms singing into worship, not the words and music. God would rather have a love-filled glance from our eyes than a song parroted from our lips. We can, in fact, worship without even opening our mouths. Enoch was translated to heaven without experiencing death. Why? He brought pleasure to God (Hebrews 11:5) by walking with God (Genesis 5:24). Notice that God uses the word “walking,” not “worshipping.” His worship was released - not just with words - but through his actions and his life. I’m certainly not downplaying the incredible importance of music and singing. I’m simply pointing out what makes these actions worship. When my kids were young and anxiously waited for Daddy to come home from work, they didn’t meet me at the door with a song. They jumped into my arms and gave me a big hug. When God created us, He made kids, not a choir; family members, not church members; He’s into love, not liturgy. And it wasn’t His “lording” nature that prompted Him to create us - He could have made a few billion more angels had that been His desire. It was His loving nature. God is a father at heart. Jesus, who came to earth to reveal to us what God is truly like (John 1:18), gave a profound glimpse of Abba’s loving and relational heart through an encounter with a rather loose-living woman. Looking for love in all the wrong places, this five-time divorced, currently shacked-up societal outcast was about to meet a man who wanted her heart, not her body. Christ told her He knew her lifestyle, yet His actions proved He wasn’t condemning her. He had assured her that He could satisfy her thirsty heart by placing a well of salvation in her. He shifted the concept of worship from the place to the person, which was a radical paradigm shift in her day. I’m sure she had never thought about this, and certainly not that God was actually seeking worshipers. “He’d like you to be one” was the obvious invitation. She was hooked. That God might actually be seeking her companionship, not her body, was beyond this woman’s wildest dreams. How could He possibly want her? But He did. In one moment, her shame was broken, and joy filled her heart. It feels good to be wanted for the right reasons. This new worshiper was so excited that she ran and told her village about Jesus, and ultimately, the entire community came to believe in Him. Jesus was too excited to eat! The great psalm of praise, Psalm 149, tells us that as we praise God, the sword of the Lord is released against His enemies, those who oppose His rule (verses 6-9). However, one of the preceding verses (v. 4) tells us why: “the Lord takes pleasure in His people!” The reason our praise is a weapon against evil is because our all-powerful God responds by showing up! Our relational God, Abba, is moved by our affection - He desires our company. That is what attracts Him to praise, not His ego. Our Father inhabits our praise (Psalm 22:3) because He loves spending time with us. Let’s make the great 149th Psalm our prayer and decree today. Pray Psalm 149 (TPT) with me today: Triumphant Praise “Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! It’s time to sing to God a brand-new song so that all His holy people will hear how wonderful He is! May Israel be enthused with joy because of Him, and may the sons of Zion pour out their joyful praises to their King. Break forth with dancing! Make music and sing God’s praises with the rhythm of drums! For He enjoys His faithful lovers. “He adorns the humble with His beauty, and He loves to give them victory. His godly lovers triumph in the glory of God, and their joyful praises will rise even while others sleep. God’s high and holy praises fill their mouths, for their shouted praises are their weapons of war! These warring weapons will bring vengeance on the nations and every resistant power— to bind kings with chains and rulers with iron shackles. “Praise-filled warriors will enforce the judgment decreed against their enemies. This is the honor He gives to all His godly lovers. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!” TPT *********************** "Hallelujah - Praise the Lord. Sing to the Lord a new song, His praise in the assembly of His faithful people. Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the people of Zion be glad in their King. Let them praise His name with dancing and make music to Him with timbrel and harp. For the Lord takes delight in his people." "He crowns the humble with victory. Let His faithful people rejoice in this honor and sing for joy on their beds. May the praise of God be in their mouths and a double-edged sword in their hands, to inflict vengeance on the nations and punishment on the peoples, to bind their kings with fetters, their nobles with shackles of iron," "To carry out the sentence written against them - this is the glory of all His faithful people (His Godly ones). Hallelujah - Praise the Lord." NIV

https://www.givehim15.com/post/november-12-2025 November 12, 2025 A Seven-Day Assignment Holy Spirit gave my friend, Chuck Pierce, a very important prophetic word this past weekend. It refers to a seven-day window and assignment, running from this past Monday through this Sunday (Nov. 10-16). Even though the seven days have obviously already begun, we can still participate! Here is Chuck’s word, then I will make a few comments: ******* “I am calling My people into a seven-day awareness. The next seven days, you must be aware. Praise Me like you’ve never praised Me before. As you praise, come into agreement with Me, saying, ‘I want a nation to come alive over the next seven days. I want the lie structure that is holding this nation to be captured. I want the liars to start being divided and for God-inspired decisions to be made about the future.’ “For this nation has been layered with lies from past administrations. This has formed a veil of deception that has hindered My will for the future. I will begin to divide the structure of lies and those who have followed the lies. From that, clarity will come, allowing wise decisions to be made that will affect the atmosphere of this nation for the next two years. “The next seven days are key to an announcement that there is a future in this land. This must be contended for. Move forward with Me. Praise Me in the morning, praise Me at noon, and praise Me at night. Then I will come down, inhabit the praise, and break the hold of those that are holding their finger in place over what I desire to do. This will be a week that I remove fingers that are touching what I long to accomplish in this land. I will do that by putting My finger on the real issues in the next seven days.” ******* My Thoughts This prophecy clearly states that we are in a critical seven-day window of opportunity. As is often the case, the Lord has chosen not to give specific details regarding what is taking place behind the scenes, only that we are in this window and He is asking us to participate with Him. This prophetic word speaks of a veil of deception built from lies in the government of America. It should not surprise us to hear the Lord say this; we know that many in our government are dishonest and have created a web of deceit. The roots of this are spiritual. Jesus said the devil is a liar, the father of lies, and that there is no truth in him (John 8:44). He then told the Pharisees that the devil was their father, and that they were following His desires. Likewise, we have many in Washington, D.C., following their father, the devil. This word is telling us we have reached a point where their web of deceit over America can be broken. The Lord said He will divide their structures and their unity. In other words, He will dismantle that which they have built, cause it to unravel, and even divide those who have worked together. It is fascinating that we are already starting to see this begin. I have never seen those on the Left fight against each other as they have this week (regarding the government shutdown). They are feeding on those in their ranks who voted to reopen the government, and Senator Schumer for not stopping them, like piranha in a bloody pond. But God not only said He would divide them, but would dismantle their web of deceit and break the hold of their fingers. The picture I have is of a strong hand peeling back the clenched fingers of someone trying to maintain their hold on an item. The Lord said they were touching and attempting to hold back His will/what He desires to do. This word clearly points out the fact that God works in partnership with His body and family. He certainly has enough power to do this without our help, but that is not how He operates. He wants — and because of this decision — he needs our partnership. He told us in James 4:2 that at times we have not simply because we haven’t asked. “Contend for this,” He tells us through this word. Holy Spirit clearly tells us that if we participate in these 7 days of praise and awareness, it will enable wise decisions to be made this week that will affect the atmosphere of America for the next two years. He also told us to be “aware!” This speaks to me of the watchman concept in Scripture. One of the meanings of the multiple Hebrew and Greek words for watchman in Scripture is simply to be aware! Some translations use the phrase “be alert,” or “be on the alert.” This tells me Holy Spirit will reveal issues throughout the week that He wants us to pray for and/or make decrees regarding. Those who listen intently to Holy Spirit will partner with Him in unusual ways. And lastly, Holy Spirit emphasizes the instructions of radically praising God, telling us to do so morning, noon, and night. This is perhaps a way of instructing us to praise Him throughout the day, all day long. In other words, stay in an attitude and heart of praise throughout the entire day. It could also mean to literally set aside three times a day–morning, noon, night–and give Him praise. For example, in Daniel 6:10, Daniel entered a season in which he prayed and offered thanks to God three times a day, defying orders not to do so. The results were remarkable. Daniel was thrown into a den of lions in order to destroy him. God sovereignly closed the mouths of the lions and protected Daniel. The king was so moved that he threw Daniel‘s enemies into the lions’ den, and released the following decree to the entire kingdom: “I issue a decree that in all the realm of my kingdom people are to tremble and fear before the God of Daniel; For He is the living God and enduring forever, and His kingdom is one which will not be destroyed, and His dominion will be forever. He rescues, saves, and performs signs and miracles in heaven and on earth, He who has also rescued Daniel from the power of the lions.” (Daniel 6:26-27; NASB) A king, his kingdom, and the purposes of God were all impacted by Daniel‘s prayers and the Lord‘s response. Verse 28 of this chapter adds that Daniel enjoyed success from that point forward in the reigns of Darius and Cyrus. Wow! There are some amazing results. Let’s join Chuck in this. Jump into the week, be radical in your praise, and allow God to inhabit those praises with his mighty power (Psalm 22:3). Let’s seize this moment of opportunity to impact our nation. Pray with me: Father, we thank You for this window of opportunity in America. As we obey Your instructions, we ask You for sensitivity and discernment. Help us to remain alert - aware! We commit to creating a throne for You with our praise (Psalm 22:3), a place from which You can rule in our nation. Dismantle evil structures, expose lies, and unravel webs of deceit. Give us this week the breakthrough You spoke of. Peel off the fingers holding back Your plans and release the announcement that Your future for America is secure. Bring forth the wise decisions You spoke of, decisions that will affect the atmosphere of our nation. We conclude today by offering You praise from Psalm 117, the Passion Translation: “Let everyone everywhere shine with praise to Yahweh! Let it all out! Go ahead and praise him! For He has conquered us with His great love, and His kindness has melted our hearts. His faithfulness lasts forever, and He will never fail you. So go ahead, let it all out! Praise Yahweh!” Our decree: We declare that God is enthroned in the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). ****************************** Click on the link below to watch the full video.

https://www.givehim15.com/post/november-11-2025 November 11, 2025 Honoring our Veterans Today is Veterans Day, a significant holiday in the United States dedicated to honoring military veterans who have served in our Armed Forces. Observed annually on November 11, this day is a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by those who have donned the uniform to protect the freedoms and rights that U.S. citizens enjoy today. The origins of Veterans Day date back to the aftermath of World War I. Originally known as Armistice Day, it was established to commemorate the end of hostilities on the Western Front, which occurred on November 11, 1918. The day was first observed as a federal holiday in 1938, intended to honor the veterans of World War I. However, after World War II and the Korean War, there was a growing recognition that the day should commemorate all American veterans, not just those who fought in World War I. Veterans Day is distinct from Memorial Day, another federal holiday that honors those who died while serving in the military. While Memorial Day is observed on the last Monday of May and pays tribute to fallen soldiers, Veterans Day celebrates all veterans who have served in the military, both living and deceased. It is a day for reflection, gratitude, and recognition of the sacrifices made by these individuals and their families. The observance of Veterans Day includes various ceremonies and events nationwide. Many communities hold parades to honor and celebrate veterans for their service. Schools often participate in educational programs that help students understand the importance of the day and the contributions of veterans. In addition to local events, the National Veterans Day Observance is held at Arlington National Cemetery, where a wreath-laying ceremony takes place at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. This solemn event underscores the nation’s commitment to honor those who have served, particularly those who made the ultimate sacrifice. On Veterans Day each year, we must remember the importance of honoring those who have served in our military. It is a time to reflect on the sacrifices made for the freedoms we often take for granted. Each story of service is unique, yet collectively, they contribute to our history and identity. By recognizing and celebrating the contributions of veterans, we acknowledge the complexities of their experiences and reaffirm our commitment to supporting them as they transition to civilian life. In recent years, there has been a growing emphasis on the challenges that veterans face upon returning home. Many veterans struggle with issues such as PTSD, unemployment, and reintegration into civilian life. Veterans Day serves as a reminder to the entire nation of the cost of freedom. It is a day to reflect on the values of courage, duty, and sacrifice that veterans embody. Citizens are encouraged to express their gratitude, whether by attending local events, volunteering for veteran organizations, or simply taking a moment to thank a veteran for their service. We ask you to do this - express your thanks to a veteran today. ******* Jennifer Ostan, a family friend and wife of a wounded warrior, shared the following in a previous Give Him 15 Veterans Day Post (Link😞 “To our veterans: You took a sacred oath to defend this great nation – today, we honor that single act of courage that shaped your life forever. Thank you, dear sir or ma’am, for answering a call that few have chosen, and for being willing to lay down your life for your fellow Americans. Whether you’ve come out on the other side of your service “healthy,” “wounded,” or “somewhere in between,” we know you’ve paid a price – and that does not go unnoticed. “We say to you today that we value your service, we honor your selflessness, and we salute you for your sacrifice. As President Truman so aptly stated: ‘Our debt to the heroic men and valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid. They have earned our undying gratitude. America will never forget their sacrifices.’(1) “We echo those words as we renew our national promise – you have our undying gratitude, and we will not forget your sacrifices! “Now, to those of you who have not served in our military, today is about the veterans, but it is also about how you can communicate your gratitude and convey value for their sacrifice. In preparation for this post, I asked several veterans to share examples of how they feel honored. Here are their answers: I don’t need much, a simple thank you and a smile goes a long, long way. It’s the little things that make me feel proud – a handshake on the street, a stranger buying my coffee, or a text from a friend. I love seeing the hometown parades and people coming together to cheer us on! It’s a stark contrast from the days of the Vietnam War. It means so much when children come up and shake my hand – I love it when they ask me about my service. I hope they continue to teach this kind of honor to the kids. “Clearly, your simple act of acknowledging veterans’ service as valuable goes a long way in making them feel honored. The next step is being intentional to teach children and grandchildren to do the same – this way our national promise can remain unbroken.” ******* In conclusion, Veterans Day is more than just a holiday; it is an opportunity for all Americans to come together in gratitude and respect for the men and women who have served in the military. It reminds us of their sacrifice and service, urging us to ensure that veterans receive the recognition, support, and care they deserve. As we honor their legacy, we ensure a brighter future for those who have bravely defended our nation. Today, as we now enter a new season where honor and patriotism are being restored, we sincerely recognize and esteem our beloved veterans, and say THANK YOU. Thank you for your sacrifice and the sacrifices made by your families. God bless you, God Bless America. Pray with me: Father, we are very grateful for the freedoms and liberty we enjoy in our nation. We are so very blessed to possess these liberties, the opportunities they afford, and the incredibly abundant resources we enjoy in America. On this Veterans Day, we take time to pray for those who have sacrificed to procure and protect these blessings. We pray especially for those who have lost family members fighting for us and others. Please give them comfort, strength, and provision. Motivate all of us Americans to do a better job of caring for them. We also pray for those who have been wounded and are still suffering. Comfort them as they cope with physical, mental, and emotional trauma; for some, it is significant. We ask this, as well, for their family members, who also suffer stress and pain from these wounds. We ask that, as a nation, You would further awaken our citizens to the needs and challenges these veterans face. Remind us of the price they have paid, and give us hearts to love and serve our soldiers and their families, just as they have served us. And lastly, we ask You for a sweeping revival in our military and their families. It will bring immeasurable comfort and healing to thousands when they come into a meaningful relationship with You. Pour out Your Spirit on them! Heal bodies, minds, and hearts. And we ask all of this in Christ’s holy name. Amen. Our decree: Today, we declare the blessing, strength, and comfort of the Lord to our veterans and their families. *********************** Major (Ret.) https://www.givehim15.com/post/november-10-2025 November 10, 2025 Right on Time In 1 Samuel 16:12-13, David was anointed to be king over Israel: “And [Jesse] sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the Lord said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he. Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.” (KJV) Most scholars believe that David was between 10 and 15 years of age when this occurred. However, it was more than 20 years before Samuel’s prophecy to David was fulfilled in 2 Samuel 5:1-5: “Then all the tribes of Israel came to David at Hebron and said, ‘Behold, we are your bone and your flesh. Previously, when Saul was king over us, you were the one who led Israel out and in.’ And the Lord said to you, ‘You will shepherd My people Israel, and you will be a ruler over Israel.’” So all the elders of Israel came to the king at Hebron, and King David made a covenant with them before the Lord at Hebron; then they anointed David king over Israel. David was thirty years old when he became king, and he reigned forty years. At Hebron, he reigned over Judah seven years and six months, and in Jerusalem, he reigned thirty-three years over all Israel and Judah.” (NAS) According to these verses, David was 30 years old when he became king. HOWEVER, the first 7 years of his reign, David was king over only the tribes of Judah and Benjamin, commonly referred to simply as Judah (verses 4-5); Saul’s son, Ish-bosheth, ruled over the actual nation of Israel. During the seven years David ruled Judah, his throne was in Hebron. Finally, when he was 37, the prophecy was fulfilled, and David was made king over all of Israel, moving his throne to Jerusalem. The math isn’t complicated: if David was 10 years old when Samuel anointed him, and 37 when he took the throne, it means he waited 27 years before the word was fully fulfilled; if he was 11 when anointed, he waited 26 years, and so on. My point is simply that David waited a long time before his promise came to pass. And the waiting was anything but pleasant. During those years, David was horribly persecuted by King Saul, became an outcast from Israel, lived in caves, and struggled just to survive. His home was not a palace, but a cave named Adullam. Many of David’s prayers and declarations in the Psalms were written during this time. In Psalm 27:1, he penned, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life; whom shall I dread?” (NAS) These words are much more meaningful when we realize David wrote them by candlelight in a dark, damp cave, during a time when the king of Israel had a bounty on his head! David did not write the incredible 23rd Psalm, which has brought comfort to untold millions over the years, in a coffee shop or an air-conditioned office. He wrote it while fleeing from Saul, in exile from his own people, and living among strangers - even enemies. His life was continually threatened. The Psalm is an outpouring of David’s confidence in the Lord and trust in His care, even when experiencing the very real threat of death. He drew on memories of shepherding and protecting his father’s sheep to picture the Lord’s care for him. “Just as I was their shepherd, You are my Shepherd.” David declared. “You feed me, protect me, and comfort me.” He wrote the amazing 91st Psalm during this same season of his life. While living in caves, David declared that he was dwelling in the shelter of the Most High, abiding in the shadow of the Almighty. Take some time and read this Psalm as you consider David’s circumstances. What amazing declarations of faith; what an incredible trust in the Lord he possessed. God did not waste David’s Adullam years; they were part of his training. This doesn’t mean God caused the evil, hatred, and treachery of those who attacked him. It means that God brought good from the evil, making it serve His purposes and David’s destiny: David learned to trust He learned to lead, beginning with an army of misfits and outcasts (1 Samuel 22:2) He learned humility He learned to overcome rejection and betrayal He learned to appreciate the small things He learned to wait He learned of God’s faithfulness And he learned to love the presence of God When a journey toward a God-given promise becomes unexpectedly long, is plagued with difficult delays, and fraught with monumental challenges, remember that the delays haven’t taken Him by surprise. God knew how long the process would take: He foresaw the obstacles, planned how you would overcome them, and determined how He would use them to prepare you for your destiny. With these things in mind, He started you on the journey far enough in advance to get you there right on time. When you finally arrive at the fulfillment, you’ll realize you didn’t arrive late…just like David. One more thing. The seven years David spent reigning over Judah in Hebron were not inconsequential, just one more delay waiting for “the real thing.” They were important! Hebron means “covenantal friendship;” it was actually here that God’s friend, Abraham, was buried. God wanted David to know, before he rose to the throne over all of Israel, that the ultimate key to success was through covenant and closeness to Him. Hebron was also the mountain city in the Promised Land where Caleb conquered its greatest giant (Joshua 14:15). David needed to learn that covenant and intimacy with God were keys to overcoming life’s “giants.” “Learn these lessons, David, and you’ll be ready for the ultimate throne in Jerusalem.” The purpose of today’s post is not just to give a history lesson; it is to remind us that when it seems a promise from God is taking forever, this is neither without purpose nor unexpected by Him. He knew how long the process would take and is using the time to accomplish His purposes. This is true for us as individuals, and also for nations. God knew how long it would take to restore America, and started early enough to get us to the finish line right on time. Not only will America be saved, she will be saved right on time. We have overcome in our Adullams, killed our giants, learned many lessons, built our friendship with God, and are now heading toward our Jerusalem. Stay the course. Pray with me: Father, we have been on what seems like a long journey to see America saved and restored. Like David, we have occasionally experienced setbacks, demonic opposition, the actions of unrighteous leaders, abusive policies, and other delays. Please keep the ekklesia reminded that these delays have not taken You by surprise, that You planned ahead for our victories, and just how You would use the battles to mature us. As we move forward, please remind believers that we must persevere in our prayers. Give us increased revelation, reminding us that our unseen prayers can literally produce visible results in Washington, D.C., and in other places here and abroad. May we not leave our posts on the wall, watching and listening for Your alerts and instructions. We pray that the exposure of the Deep State and anti-Christ forces continues. You said righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people. (Proverbs 14:34) We have been disgraced by unrighteous actions in our nation, and the people indeed groan under the weight of sin and deceit. Continue to use good and wise leaders to expose, expose, expose. You also told us Jesus is the ONLY way to You (John 14:6; Acts 4:12). We love people of all faiths, but will never compromise this truth. And America was founded by You to spread this message–we will not allow this destiny to be stolen. Islam will not rule America, nor will socialism or communism. Many of those associated with these beliefs will be saved in the revival that has begun. We ask for this. In Christ’s authority, we pray. Amen. Our decree: We decree that we, God’s Ekklesia on earth, will NOT grow weary in our well-doing, and we WILL reap in our “due season” (Galatians 6:9). ************************* Click on the link below to watch the full video.

https://www.givehim15.com/post/november-7-2025 November 7, 2025 Introduction Occasionally, I like to share posts that are more devotional, rather than focused on intercession. This is the case today. The Stretch I love nature and the outdoors. Sunrise, sunset, mountains, oceans, rivers, streams, trees - I just find God to be a pretty good artist. I also love to check out the animals. I’ve watched squirrels gather nuts, rabbits nibble leaves and veggies, and woodpeckers bang away at trees - how do they do that without rattling their brains out? Have you ever watched a hummingbird up close - their wings go a gazillion times per second - or observed the unmoving wings of an eagle as it soars. How did God think up all this stuff? I love observing and listening to elk. The sounds they make are fascinating. You’ve never heard all of nature’s wonders until you’ve heard a bull elk bugle. When you hear this up close, it’s one of the greatest rushes you could ever imagine. In mating season, you can actually call in a bull elk using calls that mimic the sounds of a cow elk in heat. Attracted like moths to a flame, they come running. When they approach, it is with tenacious and fierce determination. They grunt, bugle, and snort, both to alert the cow that they are coming and to warn any other bulls in the area that this is their date - back off. The bugling begins from hundreds of yards away and continues off and on as they approach. The first time I heard this, I became more “wired“ with adrenaline with every bugle. I was convinced that the archangel Gabriel was coming through the woods with his trumpet. We were hiding in some brush, and the expert caller was luring him in ever closer. Finally, Mr. Elk was no more than ten yards away. Still unable to see us but believing his “date” was close, he grunted, let out an ear-piercing bugle, slung some slobber (evidently, this is a turn-on for cow elk!) pawed the ground… and I made my peace with God! Talk about scary. If you’ve never heard the bugle of a bull elk, put it on your bucket list. Contrary to what you might think, an elk’s eyesight is not that great. They rely mostly on their senses of smell and hearing. I was observing a small herd of these majestic creatures one evening just before dark. One of the things that intrigued me most was the twitching of their ears. Ever vigilant, each time they heard a sound, their ears would prick up in order to hear it even better. Whether eating, drinking, or taking a step, they were always diligent to listen for a potential threat - their lives depended on it. As I watched them, the pricking up of their ears reminded me of the literal meaning of the Hebrew word for listening (qashab). This word literally means “to prick up the ears like an animal coming to alertness.” This live picture painted by the elk was indeed worth a thousand words. One of the places qashab is used is Proverbs 4:20-22, a fairly well-known passage of scripture: “My son, GIVE ATTENTION to My words; incline your ear to My sayings. Do not let them depart from your sight; keep them in the midst of your heart. For they are life to those who find them and health to their whole body” (emphasis mine). My understanding of “giving attention to” God’s words went to a whole new level as I watched the ever-vigilant ears of the elk. Always listen diligently for His voice, as though your life depends on it, I thought. Regardless of what else you happen to be doing, remain tuned in to Him. Spending time with God through prayer, worship, and quiet meditation tunes in the soul and awakens the heart, enabling us to hear Him. Life is loud - make it quiet down once in a while. Everything else will scream for your attention, but not the Lord. Holy Spirit refuses to shout above the clamor and dissonance created by other voices and activities. For those who have grown to love the pleasure of His company enough to make time for Him, however, the still small voice of Holy Spirit becomes easily discernible. Life gets fast. Too fast. Slow down for a few minutes each day, turn aside and listen for His voice. “Turn aside” is one of the meanings of the word “incline” (natah) in Proverbs 4:20. If we turn aside, He will speak to us. But He won’t speak until we are willing to turn aside. The word natah also means “to stretch toward, as in craning the neck in order to see or hear better.” The long-necked bird we call a crane provides the genesis for this colloquialism. “Stretch” your neck toward God in order to clearly hear His sayings. Show Him worth; assign Him value; demonstrate interest in His words. If you do so, He will speak. Interestingly, however, these same two words, qashab and natah, describe not only listening to God but also His listening to us. He, too, “pricks up His ears” and “cranes His neck,” listening for the voices of His kids. Like the attentive ears of a doting mother with her newborn baby, God is listening for the sounds and stirrings of His little ones. Malachi 3:16 tells us, “Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, and the Lord GAVE ATTENTION and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the Lord and who esteem His name” (emphasis mine). “Gave attention” is qashab. The timing of this passage was one of the seasons when many in Israel had turned away from Yahweh. His Father heart was hurting. God’s attentive ears pricked up, however, when a few of His loyal kids began talking about Him, and He was blessed by it. “Make a note of this,“ He told one of His assistants. Religion or misinformed people may have sold you a bill of goods about God being distant, but don’t believe it. Not only is He everlasting, He is also ever-listening. In Psalm 40:1, David says of the Lord, “I waited patiently for the Lord; And He INCLINED (natah) to me and heard my cry” (emphasis mine). David said Yahweh responded to him, craning His neck, stretching it toward his cry and lifting him out of the “pit of destruction... the miry clay” (verse 2). David was deeply moved by God’s heart toward him, and spoke of Abba’s strong love: “How blessed is the man who has made the Lord his trust, and has not turned to the proud, nor to those who lapse into falsehood. Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders which You have done, and Your thoughts towards us; there is none to compare with You. If I would declare and speak of them, they would be too numerous to count.” (Psalm 40:4-5) “Too numerous to count” is the phrase David used to describe Abba’s thoughts toward us. He loves us, and as we turn aside to Him, He turns aside to us. The resulting face-to-face encounter is one of life’s greatest pleasures. Don’t allow a feverish pace and the clamorous noise of life to rob you. Slow down and listen to Abba. Then, talk to Him. He’s listening to you, as well. Pray with me: Thank you, Father, for ever-listening to every utterance from the hearts of Your kids. From Your throne of glory, You incline Your ears to hear our voices and give attention to our prayers. How amazing this is! Let the sounds You hear from us bring You pleasure. And Father, we want to hear Your voice speaking to us. We stretch our hearts toward You - listening - giving attention to Your every word. Draw us to the hidden treasures found in the pages of Your Book - wisdom, knowledge, life, and health. Your Word is our daily bread. We don’t want to be casual listeners, but those who still our hearts to hear, giving our attention to and ascribing worth to Your words. May we pause frequently, as sheep who faithfully listen for the sound of their Shepherd’s voice, following Him always. Our decree: We declare our allegiance to the Lord Jesus Christ, and we will always remain attentive to His voice and His Word. ************************* Today’s post was taken from my book The Pleasure of His Company, published by Baker Books. https://www.givehim15.com/post/november-6-2025 November 6, 2025 Revival and Reformation, Part 5 Introduction Thanks to those of you who voted Tuesday, who prayed regarding the elections, and a special thanks to those who worked to support righteous efforts and candidates. Many of you responded to our appeal to partner with My Faith Votes. No righteous effort is ever a waste of time, even when it doesn’t produce the outcome we desired. I’ll probably say more about Tuesday’s election results in the coming days. (I didn’t comment on them at all in yesterday’s post because the 15s must be written and recorded the day before their release. Thus yesterday’s was prepared on Election Day.) My only purpose for commenting on the results briefly in today’s post is to encourage you. This was not a referendum on President Trump and the changes being made in America. Most, if not all, of the losses by conservatives were in very liberal states. In no way were they upsets; the upsets would have been had they won. We are making progress in the turning of this nation and will continue to do so. My hope for our salvation as a nation is not in elections or a political party, as critical as government is. Spiritual breakthroughs are what enable righteous leaders to accomplish their roles in restoring a nation. A Third Great Awakening will save America, not the Republican Party. Keep your faith focused heavenward, and continue to pray according to God’s promises. America shall be saved! This is good timing for Part 5 of the posts on revival and reformation. Today’s post deals with the devastating outcome of fulfilling the Great Commission found in the gospel of Mark (preaching the gospel and restoring people to God’s family), without accomplishing Matthew’s commission of discipling nations. For the sake of time, I will not read the review today. I am including it in the written version of the post, however, for those who would like to refresh their memory. In Review We have been looking at the concepts of revival and reformation, and the fact that they are linked to Yahweh’s assignments to Adam and Eve - and therefore all of us. Today’s post is the fifth teaching in this series (Part 1 [entitled: In The Beginning…], Part 2, Part 3, and Part 4). Each post builds on the next, so if you haven’t listened to or read the first four, please consider doing so. In Genesis 1:26-28, Adam and Eve were told to: 1) multiply His family, and 2) govern/manage His earth. Christ re-commissioned the church to these assignments in Mark 16:15-20 and Matthew 28:18-20. In Mark’s gospel, He told us to “preach the gospel” in order to see people saved, i.e., multiply His family. When this happens with great momentum and a large number of people coming to Christ, we refer to it as revival. In Matthew’s commission, Christ instructed us to teach His commandments in order to disciple nations—that is, to steward/manage/govern the earth. When this occurs on a broad scale, we call it reformation. We have analyzed the differences involved in these assignments. And Now for Today The Charismatic and Jesus People movements of the late 1960s through the early 80s saw millions of people in America and tens of millions around the world come to Christ. It was a wonderful example of Christ’s commission in Mark 16:15-20 occurring with great momentum, truly a significant revival. However, there was a deficient understanding of our calling to fulfill His commission of discipling nations in Matthew 28:18-20. For the most part, the minimal awareness of discipling that existed was limited to discipling individuals who came to Christ, rather than also discipling nations, societies, and cultures. Discipling nations involves teaching, modeling, and implementing God’s ways in all spheres of society, including family, religion, government, business, education, arts/entertainment, and media. It is NOT dictating or forcing God’s laws upon people and nations, as we are accused of by some who misrepresent our words, but rather teaching and modeling His ways and principles in every sector of society. Salvation, the new birth, opens the human heart and will to being discipled, which is why revival must occur first. When a person is born again, Holy Spirit writes God’s laws in their heart (Hebrews 8:10), making them hungry for His Word and truth. Also, their conscience becomes alive, active, and desirous of pleasing God (Hebrews 9:14). When a nation experiences significant revival, the portion of the populace affected by it does not have to be forced to obey God’s laws and walk in His ways; they desire to do His will, obeying Him (Psalm 40:8). New believers must be taught these ways, however - retrained - as must their children. If this training and discipling do not occur, satan attempts - and often succeeds - in counteracting a revival by infusing wrong thinking, ideas, and philosophies, etc., into the culture. As we stated, during the Jesus People/Charismatic movements of the ‘70s, Christians concerned themselves only with Mark 16. In an incredibly oxymoronic turn of events, while millions of people were coming to Christ, humanists, secularists, and atheists were busy doing their version of Matthew 28. We saved individuals; they discipled a nation. We preached the gospel; unbelievers taught dogmas and doctrines. We went to church once a week; they indoctrinated us in our schools and universities five days a week. We enjoyed our new, small niche of Christian TV; they made hundreds of movies and programs, increasing their hold on the industry. We sang and worshipped at church; they took over the airwaves and discipled a generation 24/7 with their music. We created a few radio and TV stations; they captured technology, developed social media, and dominated the communication platforms. The results: America experienced one of the greatest revivals in history…AND LOST THE NEXT GENERATION TO DEMONIC INFLUENCE! This is almost incomprehensible! The irony is beyond belief, the tragedy beyond words. But it happened. Adding to the devastation, the generation discipled by humanists, secularists, and atheists has been in charge of our nation for years - governing, teaching, entertaining, etc. AND, they have been grooming the next generation, our kids. Sadly, today, social media and the entertainment industry have a far greater influence on the minds of our children than parents. This is the fruit of revival (Mark 16) without reformation (Matthew 28). And it’s how you lose a nation. Had the church obeyed the commission of Matthew 28:18-20, we would not have lost 60 million babies to abortion. Our children would not be confused as to their gender, some going so far as to mutilate their bodies. And marriage would still be a sacred covenant between one man and one woman as the law of the land. Had we obeyed this commission, we would not have an anti-law enforcement movement, cities burning, thousands of criminals roaming our streets, socialists in high positions of government, antichrist religions ruling entire regions of America, and an element of our nation calling for the eradication of Jews. We would not have 42 million Americans on food stamps, and millions of Americans who can’t read, write, or do basic math. We would not have had a senile president controlled by a shadow government, and 20 million illegals in our nation, many of whom are supported with our taxpayer dollars. America would not be $37 trillion in debt. We would not have a lukewarm church, half of whom don’t believe in a literal Holy Spirit, the virgin birth, or the inerrancy of the Word of God. We must not make this mistake again. There is another powerful outpouring of Holy Spirit beginning that will produce an even greater revival than the charismatic and Jesus People movements. In this outpouring, the body of Christ, His Ekklesia, must accomplish both commissions. If we do so, it will reverse these failures and produce the greatest transformation of nations in earth’s history. Pray with me: Father, You created Your family in Genesis 1, assigning them the responsibility of multiplying the family, and commissioning them to manage their home, planet earth. Although this was temporarily stalled, Your plan has been revived. Jesus restored it, and said He would build an Ekklesia, a governing family, the gates/government of hell would not be able to overcome. Then He recommissioned them to multiply Your family and steward the earth for You. We embrace these commissions! We see this two-fold plan of Christ’s gaining momentum. His bride is growing in numbers, and the Ekklesia’s revelation of its authority is also growing. Release another wind that increases this growth even more. Cause the greatest season of revival and reformation in earth’s history to occur - Mark 16 and Matthew 28 simultaneously. Release the greatest wind of evangelism the world has ever experienced, and fully reveal Christ among the nations. Encourage Your people, Father, after Tuesday’s election results. Allow no “hope deferred” to overtake them, especially the intercessors (Proverbs 13:12). Help them to remain anchored in their faith and to focus on Christ as the Author and Finisher of this faith (Hebrews 12:2). We will not grow weary or lose heart - we will persevere (Galatians 6:9). We love You, Father, and pray these things in the name of Your glorious Son, Jesus. Amen. Our decree: We decree that the two Great Commissions of Christ WILL be fulfilled by His family and co-laborers, the church. **************************** Previous posts in this series: In the Beginning… Revival and Reformation, Part 2 Revival and Reformation, Part 3 Revival and Reformation, Part 4 Click on the link below to watch the full video.

https://www.givehim15.com/post/november-5-2025 November 5, 2025 Revival and Reformation, Part 4 In Review We have been looking at the concepts of revival and reformation, and the fact that they are linked to Yahweh’s assignments to Adam and Eve–and therefore all of us. Each post builds on the next, so if you haven’t listened to or read the first three, please consider doing so. When this happens with great momentum and a large number of people coming to Christ, we refer to it as a revival. In Matthew’s commission, Christ instructed us to teach His commandments in order to disciple nations–that is, steward/manage/govern the earth. When this occurs on a broad scale, we call it reformation. The fact that we did not focus on BOTH commissions in the charismatic/Jesus People movements caused us to lose much of the fruit and was devastating to America’s well-being. I’ll discuss this in tomorrow’s post. Yesterday, I pointed out some of the differences in our goals regarding revival (Mark 16) and reformation (Matthew 28). I want to make several more comparisons between the two today, looking at their differences regarding messages and activities. Messages It stands to reason that with different goals regarding revival (Mark 16) and reformation (Matthew 28), the messages would also be different; they are, as is the method of delivery. In Mark 16, Jesus told us to “preach the gospel,” which is the good news of Christ’s redemption; in Matthew 28, He told us to “teach” what He “commanded.” The difference between preaching and teaching is more than style and volume. The New Testament word for preaching means to announce or proclaim a message, whereas teaching means to explain, expound, instruct, etc. We announce the good news of Christ’s saving work; we teach His ways, precepts, desires, and the principles of His Kingdom. (Obviously, Mark’s commission must occur before Matthew’s can be accomplished. Only those who have accepted Christ as Savior and Lord, desiring to obey Him, can be taught and discipled according to His ways. Without this change of heart, they could only be coerced and forced, which is never God’s plan.) In revival, we emphasize the provision of Christ–His Cross, mercy, and grace; in reformation, we teach the principles of Christ–His Word, justice, righteousness, and truth. When we enter God’s family, the result of Mark 16, the emphasis is on our inheritance and rights as joint heirs with Christ; as we are discipled and mature, the result of Matthew 28, the focus expands to our assignment from Christ and our responsibility as citizens of His Kingdom. As a person matures, naturally speaking, she or he should take on more personal responsibility and require less from others. They should serve more, be served less. Otherwise, they become narcissistic, believing life is all about their needs and desires. The same is true spiritually. As we grow in Christ, our focus should become more and more on serving the needs of others, and on the cause of Christ. The American church is filled with narcissistic believers who have been taught that the goal of a church service should be to meet their needs and satisfy their desires. Never having been taught otherwise, everything revolves around them: the worship, the sermon, the fellowship–it’s all for them. It rarely crosses their minds to ask, “Where/how can I serve?” What does God need and want from me today? I don’t mean to criticize those in the pews; these believers are simply living what they have been taught. Activities And lastly, the church’s activities are different when accomplishing Christ’s two commissions. In the family mandate of Mark’s gospel, we serve the needs of people: feeding, protecting, and nurturing our spiritual family; in Matthew’s, mandate, we serve the purposes of God, ministering our gift, sacrificing, accepting risk, laying down our lives for His cause. To fulfill Mark’s commission, we gather to worship, be fed, filled, and empowered; we receive. To accomplish Matthew’s, we also gather, but to become trained, commissioned, and sent; we represent. In revival (Mark 16), we release the power of Holy Spirit for signs, wonders, and miracles - performing the works of God; in reformation (Matthew 28), we speak and teach truth, doctrine, wisdom, and revelation in order to transform minds, the culture, government, laws and systems, aligning them with the ways of God. As God’s family (Mark 16), our prayers are priestly–petitions, requests, and intercession offered heavenward; as the Ekklesia (Matthew 28), our prayers are kingly - decrees and declarations released earthward from our position with Christ. To accomplish Mark 16, multiplying and nurturing God’s family, Christ’s ministry gifts of pastor, evangelist, and teacher are most active; to function as the Ekklesia (Matthew 28), producing the transformation and reformation of nations, Christ’s ministry gifts of apostle, prophet, and teacher are most needed. In the Charismatic/Jesus People movements, the church failed to accomplish Matthew’s commission. We did not adequately disciple converts to Christ, and we most certainly did not disciple nations. Tomorrow we will examine the tragic results. Pray with me: Father, we have been entrusted with preaching “the glorious gospel” of Jesus Christ (1 Timothy 1:11). You trust us to announce the good news of Christ’s provision and blessings. You want Your family - and those not yet in the family - to know the gifts and inheritance You made available through Jesus. In the growing revival, cause an increase in the anointings required to announce these blessings with clarity and power. Increase the strength and scope of this revival. And as we harvest these new family members, enable the church to properly mature them into givers, not just takers. May every convert become a responsible citizen of Your Kingdom, employing the gifts You placed within them for heaven’s great cause. Raise up powerful reformers in all of the mountains of culture: family, religion, government, business, education, arts/entertainment, and media. Give them wise and brilliant strategies with which to transform. As You did for Daniel and his colleagues, make them wiser than those who do not know You (Daniel 1:20). Send the greatest revival and reformations the world has ever seen or experienced. All of this we ask in Yeshua’s name. Amen. Our decree: We decree that anointed revivalists and wise, skilled reformers are arising throughout the earth. **************************** Previous posts in this series: In the Beginning… Revival and Reformation, Part 2 Revival and Reformation, Part 3 Click on the link below to watch the full video.

https://www.givehim15.com/post/november-4-2025 November 4, 2025 Revival and Reformation, Part 3 We have been looking at the concepts of revival and reformation, and the fact that they are linked to Yahweh’s assignments to Adam and Eve - and therefore all of us (Part 1 [entitled: In The Beginning…] and Part 2). Each post builds on the next, so if you haven’t listened to or read the first two, please consider doing so. In Genesis 1:26-28, Adam and Eve were told to 1) multiply His family, and 2) govern/manage His earth. Christ re-commissioned the church to these assignments in Mark 16:15-20 and Matthew 28:18-20. In Mark’s gospel, He told us to “preach the gospel” in order to see people saved, i.e., multiply His family. When this happens with great momentum and large numbers of people coming to Christ, we refer to it as revival. In Matthew’s commission, Christ instructed us to teach His commandments in order to disciple nations - that is, steward/manage/govern the earth. When this occurs on a broad scale, we call it reformation. The fact that we did not focus on BOTH commissions in the charismatic/Jesus People movements caused us to lose much of the fruit and was devastating to America’s well-being. I’ll discuss this in Thursday’s post. In yesterday’s post, I listed a few comparisons between revival (Mark 16) and reformation (Matthew 28) to help us understand the differences. I want to give several more today and tomorrow, breaking down the differences into three categories: our goals, our messages, and our activities. Today, we’ll look at the differences regarding the goals: The goals of Mark’s and Matthew’s commissions are different: The goal of Mark’s commission is to impact and save people, individuals; the goal of Matthew’s is to impact and save cities and nations. Mark’s goal is to birth spiritual children; Matthew’s goal is to mature, train them as citizens of God’s Kingdom, and commission them as Kingdom soldiers, ambassadors, and legislators. Through Mark’s commission, people receive God’s life and nature; through Matthew’s commission, they are trained to release His life and nature. The fulfillment of Mark’s commission brings wholeness to and shapes individuals; the fulfillment of Matthew’s brings wholeness to and shapes cultures, societies, and nations. Mark’s commission is intended to deliver people from demons and sin; Matthew’s is designed to deliver nations from principalities and powers, philosophies, laws, unrighteous systems, humanism, racism, and more. In Mark’s commission, the fruit is internal, within believers and the body of Christ; in Matthew’s commission, the fruit is external, manifesting in societies and nations. Mark’s assignment is to transform the heart, our nature; the discipling of Matthew’s is to transform the mind, our thinking. Mark’s commission will heal individuals of brokenness, diseases, oppression, etc.; Matthew’s will heal nations of poverty, hunger, violence, and other evils. The salvation released through Mark’s message fills individuals with Holy Spirit; Matthew’s teaching is intended to fill the atmospheres, the spiritual realm of regions and nations with Holy Spirit’s presence and peace. In Mark, Holy Spirit is poured out; in Matthew, the Word and truth are taught. Mark’s is an outpouring; Matthew’s is an outworking. Through Mark’s commission, personal destinies are awakened and accomplished; through Matthew’s, national destinies are awakened and accomplished. Mark’s commission produces the family of God, the bride of Christ, worshippers; Matthew’s commission produces the Ekklesia, ambassadors and warriors of Christ. The fact that many in the church have not fully understood what each of Christ’s commissions was meant to accomplish has greatly hindered our mission. A mission must be clearly defined in order to be fully accomplished. There must be a target to hit, a mark to press toward. Tomorrow, we will define this more, looking at the messages associated with each commission, as well as the different activities. We’ll see when to emphasize the provision of Christ, and when to teach the principles of Christ; we’ll look at our inheritance in Christ, versus our assignment from Christ. I’m confident it will be beneficial to you. Pray with me: Father, we thank You for Your heart to redeem and save. Thank You for the power of the gospel, of the name of Jesus, and of Holy Spirit. Thank You for Your Word, which transforms, instructs, and teaches us Your ways. And we thank You for Your promise that America shall be saved and revival will impact the earth. We will partner with You in these endeavors, as Your Word instructs us. We will preach the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world. We will baptize those who believe, lay hands on the sick and see them recover, and cast out demons. This will produce the revival You speak of. We will also teach Your Word, Your commandments and ways, discipling individuals and nations. We will do so with Your authority, as You instructed us in Matthew 28. This will produce the reformation You have spoken of. So, Father, we boldly and passionately ask You for the fullness of this revival and reformation. Let Your power and outpouring be such that they cannot be ignored. Awaken the church, save unbelievers, and transform nations. And all of this we ask for in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen. Our decree: We declare that the greatest revival in history has begun, and this will lead to reformation throughout the world. ********************************* And please remember to vote today! It’s important that we put feet to our prayers. Click on the link below to watch the full video.

https://www.givehim15.com/post/november-3-2025 November 3, 2025 Revival and Reformation, Part 2 Last Thursday I began discussing the concepts of revival and reformation, and paused the series on Friday to honor Reformation Day. I stated last week that these two phenomena relate to Christ’s great commissions of Mark 16:15-18 and Matthew 28:18-20. I also pointed out that each of these commissions corresponds to one of the two mandates God gave humankind through Adam and Eve, in Genesis 1:26-28. The first of these assignments was to be fruitful and multiply: “Give Me more kids,” God said. The second was to steward, manage, or govern the earth. “You will represent My Kingdom’s government on this outpost of the Kingdom,” He told them. If you did not watch or read Thursday’s post, I strongly recommend that you do so. You can find it here. Both of these assignments were interrupted at the Fall. God temporarily lost 1) His family and 2) His ambassadors on the earth. Jesus, of course, was sent to recover and restore both. Regarding the first, He said in Matthew 16:18-19, “I will build My Church.” The word “build” is oikodomeo,(1) which means to build a family or household. In choosing this word, Christ was saying, “I’ve come to get the family back!” He followed this in Matthew 16 by calling this family His “church,” where the concept is mentioned and introduced for the first time in Scripture. “Church” is the word ekklesia, which means “called out from.”(2) It was not a building, worship service, or organization; at that time in history, ekklesia was not even a religious term. It referred to an assembly or group of people “called out” from the overall population in order to govern. Study.com says an ekklesia/ecclesia “played a central role in the political life of the city [Athens]. The Ecclesia had the power to nominate and elect magistrates, who were responsible for administering the city’s affairs and carrying out the decisions of the assembly. The Ecclesia also had the authority to pass laws and to decide on issues related to foreign policy, defense, and the administration of justice. “In addition to its legislative powers, the Ecclesia also participated in the judicial process in Athens. The Ecclesia members would try cases involving serious crimes, such as murder, and they could impose punishments. This made it an important institution for ensuring justice and upholding their rule of law in the city. The Ecclesia’s powers and importance varied over time, but it remained an important part of the political landscape of Athens throughout the classical period and into the Hellenistic era.”(3) By choosing this well known secular word, ekklesia, Jesus was saying, “I have come to recover My family and reestablish them as My spiritual government, My ambassadors on earth.” His other comments in this passage amplified and explained this further. Jesus said that this ekklesia would be given the keys (authority) of His Kingdom, through which they would bind and loose (lock and unlock, forbid and allow), and that the gates (government) of hell would not overpower them. (In those times, city councils often met at the gates of their cities because, in their thinking, the gates were a picture of government. Why? Gates determined what could enter the city physically, government did so legally. Jesus was clearly stating that the spiritual authority He would give His family would enable them to ambassadorially represent His Kingdom here on earth (see also 2 Corinthians 5:20), and they would not be overcome by the government of hell.) The Recommissioning After reversing the setbacks of the Fall through the Cross and reestablishing God’s two-fold plan, Jesus re-commissioned us in Mark 16:15-18 and Matthew 28:18-20. In Mark’s gospel, He told us to go and preach the good news that people could be restored to God’s family: saved, delivered, healed, and filled with Holy Spirit. In other words, He told them to “be fruitful and multiply” (Genesis 1:28)! When this occurs in mass, we refer to it as a revival. In Matthew 28, however, Jesus re-commissioned His Ekklesia regarding management of the earth, telling us to “disciple nations” according to His teachings. “As My Ekklesia, You have My authority. In My name, instruct and disciple nations back to the ways of My Kingdom,” He instructed us. When this occurs with groups and nations, it is a reformation. Obedience to BOTH of these mandates is absolutely essential. I will highlight the differences between them more fully in tomorrow’s post, but here are a few comparisons and differences:l of revival and reformation: Revival brings people into God’s family; Reformation teaches them His ways. Revival births them spiritually; Reformation trains them practically. Revival transforms the human heart (our nature); Reformation transforms the human mind (our thinking). Revival’s fruit is internal, produced within us; Reformation’s fruit is external, released from us. Revival is accomplished through “preaching” (Mark 16:15); Reformation takes place through “teaching” (Matthew 28:20). Revival creates converts; Reformation creates disciples. Revival restores God’s life to individuals; Reformation restores understanding of His laws, principles, and ways to cities and nations. Revival produces God’s bride, family, and worshippers; Reformation produces God’s Ekklesia, those who represent His Kingdom authority and rule. In most revivals, believers have thought primarily of getting people saved/born again, ready for heaven (Mark 16). This, of course, is essential and must be the starting point - birthing obviously precedes training. But if Matthew 28, the reforming and discipling of individuals and nations, doesn’t occur, the long-term fruit will be minimal…and can even be lost! Pray with me: Father, You have said that revival and reformation have begun. As Your voices on earth we declare that: all nations will experience outpourings of Holy Spirit. As the waters cover the sea, so shall God’s glory cover the earth. Even as sin abounds, grace and glory will abound more! The Spirit of deliverance will deliver many this year. Entire regions will be delivered and see the light of the gospel. Strongholds will melt under God’s fiery wrath. Youth will see His light and become volunteers in this day of His power. They will run with endurance, war with strength, speak with prophetic insight, and build with apostolic depth. They will evangelize millions and reform nations. They will wear their passion on their sleeve, manifesting love for God everywhere they go. They will be the Amos 9:13 generation: plowmen will overtake reapers. They will run with fathers and mothers, demonstrate humility, and walk in the fear of the Lord. They will heal the sick, open blind eyes, see extraordinary miracles, set oppressed people free, and raise the dead. They will be fearless, bold, more than conquerors, and not for sale. We declare these things by the inspiration of Holy Spirit and in the authority of Christ! Amen. And Father, we pray for those who are being impacted by the government shutdown. We know many are not being paid; others aren’t receiving the assistance they need. Please help them get through this situation. Give food banks the needed resources to provide additional meals. Please move upon enough Senators to vote for the reopening. And we ask that You use this closing to further expose the willingness of many in our government to prioritize power and politics over American citizens. All of this we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen. Our decree: We decree that we will experience the rain of revival and the reformation of nations in this season of time. ***************************** Click on the link below to watch the full video. ------------------------------------------------ James Strong, The New Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible (Nashville, TN: Thomas Nelson Publishers, 1990), ref. nos. 3618 and 3624. https://www.givehim15.com/post/october-31-2025 October 31, 2025 Reformation Day Today’s post is in some ways a pause in the teaching I began yesterday on awakening and reformation; it is, however, most certainly related. Today’s date is significant. While many celebrate Halloween, others like myself will be celebrating a far more important day in history, Reformation Day. Many believers give it little or no thought, most actually do not even know of its existence, but it is a monumental day in world history. The Great Reformation was a major 16th‑century movement that transformed Western Christendom, politics, and society. It began in 1517, traditionally marked by Martin Luther’s Ninety‑Five Theses, and unfolded through a mix of religious critique, doctrinal debate, political change, and cultural upheaval that reshaped the Christian church in Europe and beyond. It is often referred to as the Protestant reformation. The Cause God caused the Great Reformation, but there were several natural causes that He used. Leading into the 16th century, many Christians criticized the sale of indulgences—claims that one could reduce punishment for sins by monetary payment. This practice, along with other perceived abuses in monastic and papal authority, sparked widespread dissatisfaction. Leaders of the Renaissance emphasized returning to original sources. Scholars urged reform based on a more direct study of Scripture and the Church Fathers, challenging medieval scholastic methods and some papal traditions. The church’s wealth and temporal power created resentment among some nations and cities, fueling the desire for greater independence from papal control. The invention of the printing press facilitated rapid dissemination of these reformist ideas, while rising nationalism encouraged rulers to curb papal influence. Then along came Martin Luther and his theses in Germany. A monk and theology professor, Luther argued that salvation came through faith alone and that Scripture alone should be the ultimate authority, not papal decrees. He also contended that the Bible should be translated into vernacular languages, making it accessible to common believers. Reformers like Luther questioned the number and administration of sacraments, the role of tradition, and the authority of the Pope. Different reforming groups developed their own doctrinal positions. Translations of the Bible into German, English, and other languages empowered laypeople to read and interpret Scripture, diminishing the monopoly of clergy over doctrine. The Reformation led to the creation of numerous Protestant denominations. It also stimulated literacy, education, and literacy campaigns as people sought to read the Bible. And it influenced art, music, philosophy, and science, contributing to a broader shift in European civilization. Ligonier.org says of Martin Luther’s nailing of his Ninety-Five Theses to the church door on October 31, 1517: “…This law student turned Augustinian monk became the center of a great controversy after his theses were copied and distributed throughout Europe. Initially protesting the pope’s attempt to sell salvation, Luther’s study of Scripture soon led him to oppose the church of Rome on issues including the primacy of the Bible over church tradition and the means by which we are found righteous in the sight of God. “Luther recaptured the biblical view of the priesthood of all believers, showing all people that their work had purpose and dignity because in it they can serve their Creator.(1) GotQuestions.org says, “The impact of Martin Luther and the Protestant Reformation has been enormous on global Christianity. In contrast to the extra-biblical traditions and works-based practices of Roman Catholicism, Luther called the Church back to the good news of salvation by grace alone through faith alone (Ephesians 2:8-9). “Luther believed the Word of God was the supreme authority for the Christian faith, rather than tradition or papal decrees. In the process of bringing the Scriptures to the common person, Luther translated the Bible into German, published numerous books and sermons of biblical teachings, and composed numerous hymns based on biblical themes. Many of his hymns are still sung today.”(2) The Impact It would be impossible to overstate the impact of the Great Reformation, not only on Christianity, but the entire world. The revelation of the priesthood of all believers meant that we no longer had to connect with God through another person, other than our High Priest, Jesus Christ. He is our only go-between. Rediscovering salvation by grace through faith meant that we no longer had to work our way to heaven, conforming to religious systems and the traditions of men. These revelations freed us to have a personal relationship with God as our Father, and allowed us to draw near with full assurance of faith (Hebrews 10:22). Our prayers could now be offered “boldly” to Father God (Hebrews 4:16; Matthew 6:9). We could worship Him in spirit and truth, knowing that He was actually seeking such worshippers (John 4:23), and we could read the scriptures for ourselves, feeding on them as our daily bread (Matthew 4:4; 6:11). The Great Reformation unlocked the door of revelation to believers, allowing us to hear from Holy Spirit personally (Ephesians 1:17-18). We now know we can be led directionally by Holy Spirit, not a human go-between (Romans 8:14). Our once fallen souls can now connect to the One we were made to know and love (Song of Songs 3:1-2). We will jump back into the teaching on revival and reformation on Monday. Take some time today and celebrate these blessings, then ask God to reform our nation through another great revival of historic proportions. And ask Him to spread this great awakening to the entire earth. Let’s ask for this now. Pray with me: Father, we thank You for Jesus, our great High Priest. We come directly to You today through Him alone, approaching Your throne of grace boldly. Thank You for His mediation and advocacy, and for restoring us to Your family. As Your sons and daughters, entrusted with Christ’s authority, we partake now of His priestly ministry of intercession, asking on behalf of others. Send revival to our land. Deliver, save, and draw many to You in this season, showing them Your heart and nature, enabling them to find the fulfillment that can only come from You. Deliver them from lying teachings and philosophies of men, from deceptions regarding who they really are and what they were made to be. Bring an explosion of truth in our homes, schools, and institutions, freeing people from addictions, perversions, wounds, and all that controls them. And we ask for this in other nations as well. Open the eyes of the masses who worship other gods and follow teachings that do not lead to You. Send the light of revelation You spoke of in Isaiah and elsewhere. Break the power of principalities over regions, ending the control of these spirits. Release great revival. Spare millions of innocent lives from the destruction that the kingdom of darkness desires to bring. We ask all of these things in the name of Yeshua. Amen. Our decree: We declare that Jesus is our Savior, High Priest, and King. He has bestowed upon us His priestly and kingly role, and we will walk in the fullness of this calling. **************************** Click on the link below to watch the full video. ---------------------------------------------- 1.) https://www.ligonier.org/learn/articles/what-reformation-day-all-about 2.) https://www.gotquestions.org/Reformation-Day.html

https://www.givehim15.com/post/october-30-2025 October 30, 2025 In The Beginning . . . The Charismatic and Jesus People Movements occurred simultaneously. I have always considered them as two parts of one revival. Recently, I have been sharing a few posts highlighting some of the weaknesses of these movements to help us avoid the same mistakes in the coming revival. Today, I’m going to begin discussing another mistake we made. This weakness involved short-term thinking, and was caused by poor theology. It will take me two or three posts to cover this subject; I am going to take my time because I consider the teaching to be critically important. Just before He left for heaven, Jesus gave two commissions to His church: “And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. The one who has believed and has been baptized will be saved; but the one who has not believed will be condemned. These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name, they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not harm them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.’” (Mark 16:15-18 NASB) “And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”’ (Matthew 28:18-20 NASB) The “Great Commission” in Mark 16 is the restoration of people back to God’s family–salvation. The “Great Commission” of Matthew 28 is the restoration of a people’s thinking back to the ways of God–discipleship. The first (Mark 16) changes people’s nature—who they are—transforming their spirit. The latter (Matthew 28) changes people’s thoughts and actions–how they live–transforming their soul (mind, emotions, and will). God not only wants kids; He wants them to become mature sons and daughters who know His ways and think His thoughts, enabling them to represent Him. When Mark’s commission occurs in mass, resulting in the salvation of many people, we call this a revival; when Matthew’s commission occurs in mass, resulting in societal change—government, laws, morals, education, culture, etc.—we call it a reformation. In the Charismatic/Jesus People revivals, we worked toward Mark 16; the Matthew 28 commission, not so much. I will cover the result of this later. But first, let’s make sure we understand these commissions. These two commissions will never be fully understood without a clear grasp of Genesis 1, for they are actually recommissions of what took place then. Jesus came to restore–restart, rebirth, revive, redeem, recover, reform, refill, and recommission. It is only logical, therefore, that we must go back to the beginning in order to understand what he is RE-storing and RE-commissioning us to. In The Beginning. . . In the first chapter of Genesis, God worked on a planet in His universal kingdom: Earth. It would become home for the family He was soon to create. For five days, He transformed this home. I love the glimpses of His heart as He progressed. After each day’s work, God said the progress was “good.” Why would He say this? The Lord certainly wasn’t bragging, patting Himself on the back for a job well done. Nor was He surprised–“Wow, this is turning out really well.” No, Yahweh was expressing His pleasure—His satisfaction with what was occurring—just as an expectant mom and dad might when preparing their nursery. Abba’s pleasure increased to its highest level, however, on the sixth day after creating His human family. In His sixth pronouncement that what He had created was good, the Architect added a word: “This is very good” (Genesis 1:31). His plan was coming together, and like a proud parent standing over a newborn baby, Papa God was savoring the moment. The Creator made this family in His image and likeness (Genesis 1:26). The Hebrew word for ‘image’ is tselem, which involves the concept of a shadow, a phantom, or an illusion.(1) An illusion is something you think you see, but on closer observation, discover that your eyes have tricked you. When the rest of creation saw Adam or Eve, they must have done a double-take, thinking: For a moment, I thought it was God, but it’s only Adam. The Hebrew word demuwth, translated as “likeness” in Genesis 1:26, comes from the root word damah, meaning “to compare.”(2) Adam and Eve, at creation, were very much like God, filled with His life, nature, and Spirit. They were His family. He who had innumerable angels serving Him was not satisfied. God desired sons and daughters; He also wanted companions for His Son. To satisfy these desires, He created a new “species,” in His image and likeness, far different than the angels. Then came two commissions or mandates to this new family. Commission One: “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth” (Genesis 1:28). God was saying, “Reproduce! I have placed in you the ability to multiply My image and likeness. And I want a big family!” Just let that sink in: God gave humans the ability to reproduce and multiply eternal images and likenesses of Himself! Astounding! What a privilege and what a responsibility. Then came Commission Two: “Rule over…all the earth…over every living thing that moves on the Earth” (Genesis 1:26-28). Psalm 8:6 restates the mandate, “Thou doest make him to rule over the works of thy hands, Thou hast put all things under his feet.” Each of the above passages uses a different Hebrew word for “rule” (translated as “dominion” in other versions of the Scriptures). The Genesis verses use radah,(3) Psalm 8 uses mashal.(4) Both words convey the concept of management, government, or rule. Adam and Eve were commissioned to govern or manage earth, their home, for themselves and Creator God. They did not “own” earth; they were delegated stewardship and governance for the Owner and Creator, Yahweh. Obviously, they were to do so under His headship and rule, implementing the principles of His Kingdom, not according to their own dictates. Obviously, this plan was interrupted at the fall. When Adam sinned, he lost the image, likeness, and Spirit of God; he also lost his dominion, the delegated authority to manage the earth. And God lost His family. (God did NOT lose ownership of the Earth, for He had never given that to Adam, nor did He lose HIS personal authority over the Earth; we humans lost OUR delegated authority, which had now been transferred to satan.) These two losses are what Jesus came to restore: 1) God’s family, and 2) their lost governance and stewardship of the earth. We will pick up here tomorrow, see how this all relates to the last revival, and what will change in the coming great awakening. Pray with me: Father, we know revival has begun. It is in its beginning stages here in America, though in some parts of the world, multitudes are already coming to You. Increase it here and around the world. Save a billion souls. We thank You for the increase that has come this year. Now, we ask that You unleash the full-force power of the gospel and confirm it with signs, wonders, and miracles. You have said reformation has also begun, stating that the ekklesia, the church, is prepared and ready. You said angels have been dispatched to assist us, that the impossible will occur, and the unchangeable will change. So we ask You for this. Revive and reform. Teach us what reformation looks like, so that we can partner with You at higher levels and see lasting fruit. Cause this revival to break out over the entire world. We declare the coming of Your Kingdom, and the accomplishing of Your will here and throughout the earth, as it is in heaven. Multiplied power, multiplied deliverances, multiplied salvations–bring them forth. In Yeshua’s name, amen. Our decree: We decree that we have moved into revival and reformation, and will see the great billion soul harvest. *************************** Click on the link below to watch the full video. ---------------------------------------------- Spiros Zodhiates, Hebrew-Greek Key Study Bible - New American Standard (Chattanooga, TN: AMG Publishers, 1984; revised edition, 1990), p. 1768. https://www.givehim15.com/post/october-29-2025 October 29, 2025 The Importance of Running Together The Jesus People movement occurred in the late 1960s and throughout much of the 1970s, impacting North America, Europe, Central America, Australia, and New Zealand before it subsided. It coincided with a significant breach between the younger and older generations, commonly known as the “generation gap.” This division was not a single, uniform phenomenon, but encompassed political beliefs, cultural tastes, social norms, and expectations about authority, education, and personal freedom. Sadly, the generation gap negatively influenced the Jesus People movement in some ways. Before we address this, let’s briefly recap this “generation gap.” It was caused by several overlapping phenomena: Postwar affluence: As economies grew, more young people enjoyed disposable income and time for education and leisure. This created a distinct youth culture with new priorities and ambitions separate from parental routines and activities. Educational expansion: College attendance surged in the 1960s and beyond. Known for radical ideas in philosophy, sociology, and political science, campuses became hotbeds of challenges to established norms about race, gender, class, morality, religion, and authority. Civil rights and anti-war movements: Many young people began questioning the legitimacy of older generations’ hierarchical structures and national decisions. This led to great disillusionment in the youth. Cultural revolutions: Popular music, art, literature, and media celebrated experimentation, sexual liberation, and nonconformity. The rise of rock and roll, folk revival, and the drug culture offered new identities and ways to resist conformity. Changing gender expectations: Women increasingly challenged traditional roles at home and in the workplace, which impacted the family unit. Technological and media shifts: Television, film, and the mass availability of information allowed younger audiences to encounter diverse viewpoints and lifestyles, creating a sense of global connectedness and generational difference. Authority and traditional values came under scrutiny: Many parents and authority figures had grown up in more hierarchical, economically stable times. As their children embraced alternative lifestyles, dissent, and political activism, this generated distrust, conflicts over authority and discipline, and division. What were some of the outcomes of this era? What did the generation gap produce? Cultural transformation: The era reshaped popular culture—music, fashion, literature, and media—leading to more permissive attitudes toward sexuality, the challenging of authority, and the celebration of individual expression. This left a lasting imprint on societal norms. Political polarization and discourse: Debates around war, poverty, and social justice created lasting generational divisions. Political movements often blurred into a sense of “us vs. them” between younger reformists and older traditionalists. Educational changes: Schools and universities became spaces for indoctrination and activism. Long-term shifts in family dynamics: Shifts toward the family structure, feminism, reproductive rights, marriage, and contraception contributed to new family models and gender roles. Along with this, the idea that youth could and should define their own paths became a more accepted norm. In summary, the 1960s and 1970s were a very tumultuous period, and the generation gap became very significant. It arose from a convergence of diverse issues affecting family, education, politics, and culture. Younger people questioned established authority, challenged social hierarchies, rebelled from past standards, and demanded more freedom. The era reshaped culture, intensified political discourse, and redefined family. How This Influenced the Jesus People Movement When the Jesus People movement emerged, multitudes of youth were saved, but this did not heal all the division, distrust, and significant generational separation. The young people who came to Christ brought with them their different music, dress, free-spiritedness, many of their political ideals, and more. Some of this was actually good and helped break down the existing religious boxes in the church built solely on tradition and preference, not on Scripture. A lot of the older folks did not like this, however, and were resistant to the change, wanting the status quo. Traditions, especially religious traditions, are not easily changed. The youth also brought some of their distrust toward the older generation in the church. And, of course, this lack of trust was reciprocated by many of the older folks. Each wanted the other to change. The truth was that both generations needed to do so. Instead, the generation gap was brought right into this move of God. This was disastrous. Malachi 4:6 speaks of a curse associated with division between parents and children. I realize many translations use “fathers,” not “parents,” but I believe the warning includes both fathers and mothers, as do several other translations. The verse states: “And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.” KJV “He will return the fathers’ hearts to their children and the children’s hearts to their fathers so that I can come and bless and not strike the land with a curse.” TPT The charismatic and Jesus People movements experienced the fruit of this curse Malachi spoke of, along with the rest of America. The wisdom of age and the zeal of youthfulness were unable to partner and produce the wonderful fruit God intended through generational synergy. The experience of the older generation didn’t help channel the passion of the young, and the elders’ passivity wasn’t offset by the fire of the sons and daughters. Many Joshuas couldn’t find their Moseses, Elishas their Elijahs, and Timothys their Pauls. And vice versa. Many of the old grew stagnant, becoming old wine skins, unable to receive the new wine; many of the youth were captured by false doctrines and built ministries on weak foundations. And much potential fruit for the Kingdom of God was lost. The Third Great Awakening I have hope in my heart that this breach will not exist in the coming revival. I believe God has done a work of joining fathers and mothers to sons and daughters, turning the hearts of each toward the other. And I believe this will create a much greater stability, power, and productivity in the new move of God. I also believe it will produce the longevity that comes from generational connection. In the next awakening, we will not be divided, but instead, will run together. Let’s ask for this now. Pray with me: Father, You call us to walk in unity with one another, including unity between generations. Sons and daughters, fathers and mothers must run together. We know that when they are in agreement, it releases synergistic power. In the coming revival, we want to see Joshuas leading with the strength of their Moseses, Elishas moving in the double portion of their Elijahs, Timothy’s building with the wisdom received from their Pauls. You said Joshua had the spirit of wisdom because Moses laid his hands on him (Deuteronomy 34:9). You said Elisha received the mantle of Elijah (2 Kings 2:13). You told us that Paul laid hands on Timothy and gave him spiritual gifts (2 Timothy 1:6). Do these things many times over in our day. No more generation gaps; those days are over. And we pray that the young people who come to Christ in this great awakening would grow quickly. Break off any and all mindsets that would hold them back or cause them to stumble. Free them from all addictions, gender confusion, deceptions, and wrong ways of thinking. Cause them to be truly Christ-like, demonstrating the fruit of Your Spirit in abundance, and be the greatest generation ever. All of this we pray in Jesus’ name. Our decree: We decree that the hearts of the fathers and mothers have turned to the sons and daughters, and the sons and daughters have turned their hearts to the fathers and mothers. ******************************** Click on the link below to watch the full video.

https://www.givehim15.com/post/october-28-2025 October 28, 2025 Sensationalism Without Substance The last few days, I taught about the danger of building churches and ministries on gifts and charisma rather than on God’s heart, His wisdom, and sound biblical truths. This was a serious flaw in the most recent national revivals, the Charismatic and Jesus People movements. Today, I want to address another mistake made in those revivals. As I have said previously, I’m doing so that we might guard against repeating these mistakes in the coming awakening. The weakness I’m addressing today is building churches and ministries on hype, sensationalism, innovation, etc., rather than on God’s presence, Word, power, and anointing. Revelation 3:1&2 says of the church at Sardis, “You have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. Wake up, and strengthen the things that remain, which were about to die.” This church had obviously been alive and well at one point. And to the average observer, it continued to have the reputation of being alive. God, however, looked into the heart of the church and saw its true condition. The fact that Sardis was still considered spiritually healthy tells us that they continued to do all the right things. People were impressed. Jesus, however, said Sardis was dead. Yes, their presentation was polished, their methods seemingly effective, but it was all outward show. Inwardly, they had serious heart issues. This problem in the church comes from attempting to build, not on the anointing of Holy Spirit, but on formulas, hype, sensationalism, big names, miracles, the gifts of the Spirit, innovation—anything that breeds excitement. It usually takes place because it is quicker and easier to build this way. Innovation is prioritized over the anointing. Man-made ideas are implemented to achieve growth. In our generation, there is no shortage of creative ways to produce a movement. Just as King David attempted to bring the Ark of the Covenant back to Israel on his “new cart,” we have produced thousands of “new carts” in our efforts to restore God’s glory in the church. These “carts” come disguised in many forms, from church growth seminars to the most innovative and technologically brilliant schemes imaginable. E.M. Bounds said it well, “We are constantly on a stretch, if not a strain, to devise new methods, new plans, new organizations to advance the church and secure enlargement and efficiency for the gospel.”(1) I sometimes hear promotions of mighty services only to find hype and sensationalism when I arrive. A few years back, I heard of one well-known evangelistic team’s “great crusade” where more than 2,000 young people were supposedly won to Christ in a single week. A few months later, I checked the results and was told that only one of the “converts” had become a true follower of Christ. Great crusade? I don’t think so. I wasn’t surprised—their entire approach was hype and entertainment. This approach to generate growth leads to what I call “placebo Christianity.” The outside looks real, but the inside lacks substance. It looks alive, but is dead. Perhaps most alarming is that it standardizes mediocrity. The church of America has done this. The Samson Effect Those who read my books and these Give Him 15 posts know I want the body of Christ to see a resurgence of the miraculous. But an overemphasis on power, miracles, and especially emotional stirrings leads to sensationalism and, ultimately, a decrease in power. Like the church at Sardis, the power and anointing can die, while the church’s reputation lives on. As with Samson, this can happen without our even realizing it. After having lost his power, he said, “‘I will go out as at other times and shake myself free.’ But he did not know that the Lord had departed from him” (Judges 16:20). Sensationalism ultimately leads to cynicism in the world and disillusionment in the body of Christ. I have watched several churches and ministries built using these methods. There was great initial excitement, Christians transferred from other, less exciting churches, and these congregations became the latest “fastest-growing, cutting-edge, overnight sensations.” The interviewers came, articles were written, television shows were produced, and money was made. Many of the churches are now dead or mortally wounded. Others still have a name that they’re alive, but are basically dead. Heaven weeps…while someone goes and repeats the process somewhere else, creating another overnight sensation, playing the Kingdom success game, striving for greatness. What has been the fruit of this approach to church growth? Our cities and nation were not changed—no, that's not actually true. They grew worse! Christians grew more disillusioned, the world more cynical. Genuine Greatness I don’t think the average American–believer or unbeliever–understands greatness these days. Most Christians will be totally confused at the awards ceremony in heaven. I can assure you that it won’t look like ours. I do know some truly great people, but you’ve not heard of most of them. They are not “gifted” enough. They’re simply great moms and dads…hard workers…faithful servants. My grandfather, Bill Henkel, lived to be 90. He didn’t leave his family any money; it wasn’t there to leave. He lived in the same small house for 60 years, in a small town. Grandpa never preached a sermon, but his life continues to preach. So does his offspring. Known for his integrity, my grandfather’s handshake and his word were enough for anyone who knew him, including his bank. My brother Tim once saw him get a loan at the bank without even a signature! “We’ll do the paperwork later, Bill. Your word is enough for now,” the banker said. He was a humble man. When Grandpa was saved, he was so convicted that he crawled to the altar. He was in church every Sunday, most Wednesdays, and served in various capacities. He tithed, gave offerings, and helped many needy people, though he had to work three and sometimes four jobs to survive. Grandpa only had an elementary school education. But while Grandpa didn’t leave his family any money, he left a great legacy. His children love God; his grandchildren preach the gospel. Bill Henkel was a great man! Heaven celebrated his arrival. When he moved there, I wept and rejoiced at the legacy he left me, worth far more than money. The world around us is looking for true greatness, not sensationalism. Understanding sensation and hype far better than we in the church do, they are unimpressed with ours. We will never reach unbelievers using their own methods. They need substance from us. Truth. Depth. A proud, be-number-one, claw-your-way-to-the-top generation will be defenseless against genuine humility, servanthood, agape love, and genuine power. Let’s show them what this looks like. Pray with me: Father, sometimes we deceive others, we even at times deceive ourselves, but we cannot deceive You. You look straight into the heart, not at the outward flare and flash. You did so for the church at Sardis and told them they were flatlining, that they had to wake up and strengthen the good that remained. In their weak state Your heart was not to condemn them, but to awaken them from their slumber. We know You have come to the church in America to do the same. You have challenged us to wake up and strengthen the good within us. We believe that many believers have done so - not all, but many. And You have always been willing to use a remnant to repent, intercede, and prepare the way for others. We have done so, and will continue to do so. We ask You to enable us to fully awaken the American church and impact our nation. We ask You for signs, wonders, and great power, but not so we can grow our churches and promote our ministries. We want to make Jesus known, not ourselves. We want those who are hurting to be touched by Your power so they can be free from oppression and suffering, not so that we can be famous. Show us any hidden areas of our lives where the need for self-promotion hides. Cleanse us from any and all pride. Get us ready to be used for the great outpouring of Your Spirit that is building. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen. Our decree: We declare that we will not yield to sensationalism and self promotion, but will walk in humility and glorify God with our lives. ************************** Click on the link below to watch the full video. ------------------------------------------------ E.M. https://www.givehim15.com/post/october-27-2025 October 27, 2025 What Stage Are You In? In Friday’s post, I spoke of leaders in past revivals and awakenings sometimes being released into ministry prematurely. The following teaching helps identify the various stages of spiritual growth and development. There are several Greek words for a child or children. Though each can be translated as “child,” they typically indicate a specific age range or stage of a child’s development. And these different words of physical growth and development are sometimes used to describe our spiritual stages of growth and maturity. First, I’ll list them, then make comments. Nepios(1) means “no speech” and refers to an infant or baby. (1 Corinthians 3:1: “And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual men, but as to men of flesh, as to infants in Christ.” Hebrews 5:13: “For everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness, for he is an infant.”) Paidion(2) often refers to a toddler or young child. (Matthew 18:4: “Whoever then humbles himself as this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” Ephesians 5:1: “Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.”) Pais(3) is a word for child that can include a broad age range; it is sometimes even translated as “boy” or “girl.” (Matthew 2:16; 8:6-13; Luke 8:54) A teknon(4) is a child, up to and including a teenager or young adult. (Galatians 4:19: “My children, with whom I am again in labor until Christ is formed in you.” 1 John 5:21: “Little children, guard yourselves from idols.) These stages of growth obviously require different approaches in parenting. Nepioses or babies can’t be fed the same food as adolescents and teenagers. Likewise, Paul told the Corinthians that he couldn’t speak to (feed) them as spiritual men, but as babes or infants in Christ (1 Corinthians 3:1). And just as one obviously cannot give a baby authority or responsibility, one should not do so with a spiritual newborn. We love babies, feed them, burp them, change their diapers, let them rest, and repeat the process. Where toddlers and young children (paidion) are concerned, we begin to expect more from them, even giving them responsibilities such as putting away their toys, taking out the trash, etc. We teach them to begin doing things for themselves—eating, dressing, etc.—and send them to school. We might give them an allowance and begin teaching them to earn and manage small amounts of money. And in this stage, we begin disciplining them. It is a tremendous stage of growth and learning, but we don’t yet give them authority. The same should be true spiritually. When children become teenagers (teknons), we give them increased responsibility, supervised authority, and more freedom: we hand them the car keys, but tell them when to be home; we allow them to hang out with their friends, but we want to know who those friends are and where they’ll be. Their gifts are being realized and blossoming, and we love seeing this manifest. But we should not give them unsupervised authority and freedom, even though this is a stage of life when such liberties begin to be strongly desired. Dreaming begins, and should be encouraged, but chasing the dream must be carefully supervised. It is a stage of life when the desire for freedom to spread one’s wings greatly outpaces wisdom and knowledge. This is a very dangerous phase. The same is true spiritually. Spiritual gifts are often recognized at this point, dreams and visions are forming, and consequently, authority is often delegated prematurely. There are many teknons serving as senior pastors or leading their own ministries who should actually still be under the authority of an older, wiser leader. After these phases comes a significant and poorly understood phase of development mentioned in Scripture. A huios(5) is a fully matured “son.” Spiritually speaking, huios is not gender-based; just as a male can be part of Christ’s “bride,” females can be a fully mature “son.” And this is not the same as adulthood in general. In Christ’s day, sonship was a term connected to authority. When a child matured and had been adequately trained, a public ceremony called a huiothesia(6) was held. This word literally means “placed as a son.” It was different from a bar mitzvah ceremony. The father of the child would invite members of the community to this event, as it was a public announcement that the “child” was now a fully mature “son,” and therefore, entrusted with full authority to represent the family name, business, etc. During the ceremony, the father would announce, “This is my beloved son (huios), in whom I am well pleased.” (Sometimes they would add something along the lines of, “I bestow upon him all my riches, power, and authority so that he might act on my behalf.”) This is why Father God spoke these words at Christ’s baptism (Mark 1:11); He was declaring that Jesus was fully authorized to speak for Him and conduct His business. It was Christ’s huiothesia. Huiothesia is usually translated “adoption as sons” in the New Testament. However, when used, it isn’t speaking of us being adopted into God’s family. It refers to the above process, meaning that “children,” already in God’s family, are being positioned or placed into “sonship,” just as occurred with the Jews. God’s plan is to mature us from spiritual babies to mature sons and daughters, qualified to fully represent Him. This knowledge is critical to understanding Romans 8. The chapter tells us that as God’s “children,” regardless of our maturity level, we have all the rights, blessings, and privileges of being in His family. “The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children (teknon) of God, and if children (teknon), heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him” (Romans 8:16-17 NASB). However, the passage makes an important distinction between children and sons: “For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons (huios) of God” (Romans 8:14 NASB). Many of God’s children are not yet led by Holy Spirit. Though they have access to His blessings, they are not mature enough to recognize His voice and know His ways. Some actually never grow to this point. So, all of God’s “children” have rights and benefits; His “sons” possess representational authority. The passage in Romans chapter 8 goes on to say that creation is groaning and travailing, waiting –NOT for God’s children–but for the revealing of His “sons” (verse 19). “Children” of God cannot bring healing to the earth; only mature “sons and daughters,” those led by Holy Spirit, can do so. (This healing of the earth is not speaking of God’s ultimate restoration of the planet. Obviously, a time of complete healing and restoration will one day come to earth [Revelation 21], just as a full manifestation of our sonship will one day occur. But as Christ’s Ekklesia, we are to manifest a level of this sonship now, representing His spiritual authority and releasing His healing to a groaning earth.) I am confident that God has matured a company of believers throughout the earth into their “sonship” stage. They have grown in wisdom and knowledge. No longer spiritual babies or children, these believers have matured to a point where they can be trusted with a high level of Christ’s authority. As mature sons and daughters, they will bring salvation, healing, and restoration to impoverished nations, enabling them to prosper. They’ll help transform governments, education systems, economies, medicine, farming, and more. They will be healers of decimated cities and nations (Isaiah 58:12), deliverers of the oppressed and downtrodden (Luke 4:18-19). This is all part of the discipling of nations we were commissioned to in Matthew 28:18-20, and will manifest in the emerging revival. Pray with me: Father, we are a people called for such a time as this. You intend for and have prepared the Ekklesia to accomplish Your purposes on earth. Keep us reminded that we are equipped for this, not through our own strengths and gifts, but because of the Greater One in us, and Christ’s authority upon us. We ask that a higher level of revelation be released in Your people, awakening us to our calling and equipping. Make this revelation as powerful for us as it was for Peter, who, only weeks after denying Christ, stepped into his apostleship and authority. Bring revelation to the church of Holy Spirit’s transforming power, of the incredible reality that He resides within us. Through His holy presence in us, we truly ARE more than conquerors, and CAN do all things through Christ. Pour out Your Spirit. Awaken Your spiritual army. Cause us, Your sons and daughters, to realize our full authority and position in Christ. Infuse us with new levels of humility, love, faith, boldness, wisdom, and discernment. Do these things with such strength that we, like the early Ekklesia, turn our world upside down, which is actually “right side up.” Our decree: We decree that mature sons and daughters of the Most High God will arise in this hour and be used by God to heal individuals and nations. *********************** Click on the link below to watch the full video. ----------------------------------------------- James Strong, The New Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible (Nashville, TN: Thomas Nelson Publishers, 1990), ref. no. 3516. Speed vs. Wisdom * Dutch Sheets * GiveHIM15 * 10/24/2025
ronscarpa posted a topic in Off Topic posts
https://www.givehim15.com/post/october-24-2025 October 24, 2025 Speed vs. Wisdom On Wednesday of this week, the GH15 post addressed one of the weaknesses of the Charismatic/Jesus People movements. This weakness was ministry born of personal ambition and gifts, rather than of God’s heart. I brought the teaching, not to critique those movements, but to help us learn from the past so we don’t repeat its mistakes. I received a lot of positive feedback regarding that post, which I appreciate. Today, I want to mention another of our weaknesses in those revivals, and will probably share a few more in the coming days. Again, I share these so we can learn and grow. On Wednesday, I used the biblical account of a very gifted runner, a messenger named Ahimaaz, from 2 Samuel 18; he was very fast but ran for his own pleasure and fulfillment, not with a pure heart to serve the king. Today, I’m going to mention another speedster by the name of Asahel. In 2 Samuel 2, David was made king over Judah. He had been anointed by the prophet Samuel to be king over all of Israel, but this had not yet occurred. When King Saul died, his son, Ishbosheth, took over the throne of Israel; David, at this point, ruled only Judah, doing so from Hebron. This, of course, meant there was a great breach in Israel, with one tribe following David, the other 11 following Saul’s son. Tensions between the two factions were high, and war broke out, with friends and acquaintances now pitted against one another. David’s army was led by a general named Joab; Ishbosheth’s (Israel’s) military leader was Abner. David’s army prevailed: “That day the battle was very severe, and Abner and the men of Israel were defeated by the servants of David” (2 Samuel 2:17 NASB). As Abner’s army scattered, a young soldier serving in David’s army - who was actually a younger brother to David’s general - decided to pursue Ishbosheth’s seasoned general and kill him. It didn’t go well for the young man. Here is a portion of the passage: “Now the three sons of Zeruiah were there, Joab, Abishai, and Asahel; and Asahel was as swift-footed as one of the gazelles that is in the field. Asahel pursued Abner and did not turn to the right or to the left from following Abner. “Then Abner looked behind himself and said, ‘Is that you, Asahel?’ “And he said, ‘It is I!’ “So Abner said to him, ‘Turn aside for your own good to your right or to your left, and take hold of one of the young men for yourself, and take for yourself his spoils.’ “But Asahel was unwilling to turn aside from following him. “Then Abner repeated again to Asahel, ‘Turn aside for your own good from following me. Why should I strike you to the ground? How then could I show my face to your brother, Joab?’ “However, he refused to turn aside; so Abner struck him in the belly with the butt end of the spear, so that the spear came out at his back. And he fell there and died on the spot. And it happened that all who came thereafter to the place where Asahel had fallen and died, stood still.” (2 Samuel 2:18-23 NASB) Whereas Ahimaaz (in Wednesday’s post) represents running with wrong motives, Asahel’s weakness speaks to our maturity level: training, preparation, wisdom, and understanding. So far as we know, Asahel’s motives weren’t the problem. He simply didn’t have the necessary wisdom for the battle. Ahimaaz ran for the wrong reasons; Asahel ran prematurely. His lack of wisdom and, ironically, his speed, got him killed. In running the spiritual race of life, zeal and speed are not enough, nor are good intentions - it’s not just the thought that counts. Contrary to popular belief, ignorance is not bliss. A great vision, talent, gifts, abilities, speed - none are sufficient for promotion and high levels of leadership. The charismatic movement, despite its strengths and blessings, in many ways glorified the wrong requirements for our running. Much of the error was directly related to impatience - “now-ism.” Speed and gifting, not wisdom and character, were the measuring criteria for success. The following tendencies manifested themselves in the movement: Knowledge was glorified over wisdom. Revelation was exalted over sound doctrine. Story-telling replaced teaching, and feel-good messages replaced theology. Training was neglected in favor of speed. Formulas and how-tos replaced waiting on God. Reaping was desired without sowing. The works of God replaced the ways of God. Gifts and charisma took precedence over experience and understanding. The need for instant gratification replaced endurance. Numerical growth and success seminars replaced prayer meetings and prayer watches. Action was more important than accountability - the end began to justify the means. Fathers who didn’t seem to have enough fire and speed were rejected—along with their wisdom—and our peers became our counselors. Fire counseled fire! The results? Fireworks! And after a few bright flashes, it was all over. The movements died. Speed and size spelled success. An instant-gratification, buy-now/pay-later, live-for-today world succeeded in conforming much of the Church to its ways. Phrases such as “fastest growing” and “one of the largest” became absolute curses to the Body of Christ, curses which continue to operate. Born of immaturity, inherent in these phrases are wrong motivation, a deficient understanding of God, the wounding of others, and the propagating of a competitive spirit. Nowhere in the Scriptures will you find speed or size to be the criteria for success or greatness. Yet they have taken center stage in American Christian culture. This has done much more damage than most realize. When the standard for success is distorted, the efforts to achieve it also invariably go amiss. Enough time has passed that it is now possible to judge the fruit of this distortion of God’s ways. I’m not aware of a city in America that has experienced a genuine revival as a result of one of the “fastest-growing” or “largest” churches. Despite our supposed growth and the many megachurches that were created, the percentage of Americans attending church did not increase from 1980 through 2000. Ninety percent (90%) of reported church growth in America was from people moving to a new congregation, not from conversions. We created megachurches through a mega transfer movement! And this hasn’t changed; since the turn of the century through 2020, church attendance actually declined. Only recently has this begun to change. Because our emphasis was on speed—without depth and wisdom—the church has underemphasized character and built ministries without sufficient foundations to support the structures. We have broken the rules, but still want to win the war. Instead, many, like Asahel, have been speared by the enemy. Casualties abound. In the coming awakening, we must correct this, marrying wisdom and revelation, preaching and teaching, how-tos and theology, prayer and action, revival and reformation, grace and truth, power and humility, gifts and maturity, and youth and age. Holy Spirit is preparing us for this. Listen and obey. Pray with me: Father, as we look back, we can see that You have matured the body of Christ in America over the past few decades. We ask that this continue, that You keep us from aborting Your plans and our destinies through immaturity and ignorance. Our human tendencies are to focus on gifts and sensationalism, not Your heart and ways. We don’t like to wait. Give us grace to overcome this in our lives. Our desire is that the coming great awakening bears the greatest possible amount of fruit, and that the fruit remains. We want no delays, and we want no crop failures. With the incredible amount of harvest on the horizon, we will need to function at a very high level of maturity to reap it and disciple the large numbers of salvations. Give us the appropriate balance of gifts, power, grace, mercy, discipline, teaching, and all of the other manifestations of Holy Spirit in our lives. We ask all of this in Yeshua’s name. Our decree: We decree that as we war, we will do so with wisdom. ***************************** Click on the link below to watch the full video. -
https://www.givehim15.com/post/october-23-2025 October 23, 2025 A Time-Sensitive Request God wasted no time before introducing the all-important concept of government in Scripture, doing so in the very first chapter: Genesis 1:26-28. Government is vital. Whether it be in a home, city, nation, or any other grouping of people, God’s intent for government was that it serve people by providing protection (covering), instruction, justice, appropriate and loving discipline, peace, and more (Luke 13:34; 19:44; 1 Timothy 2:1-4; Romans 13:1-4). Righteous rule (government) is God’s primary method of releasing these necessary actions and outcomes on earth. Proverbs 29:2 tells us that this brings joy to people; when it does not occur, the result is mourning. No wonder He told us to pray first for those in government! (1 Timothy 2:1-4) The Hebrew word used for “mourn” in Proverbs 29:2, which occurs when the wicked rule, is a strong word. Anach means not only to mourn, but to do so by moaning, even gasping.(1) Proverbs 14:34 adds that the sin these unrighteous rulers produce causes shame and disgrace to a nation. The ungodly element in America’s government has brought disgrace and mourning by believing it has the right to: Kill babies in the womb Approve the selling of the aborted babies’ body parts (are you gasping yet?) Allow babies born alive during failed abortions to lie unattended until they die Redefine what it means to be male and female Reject the first covenant God established on earth, marriage, and redefine it using activities He forbade (and celebrate this rebellion with cheering, flags, nudity, and lit-up government buildings) Take ownership of children from their parents; they indoctrinate them using pornography and drag queens, even to the point of encouraging the children to be sterilized by drugs or castration (are you mourning yet?) And much more And here is something else that makes me mourn: the American church could easily change all of this, but doesn’t. The reason? Approximately half of evangelicals aren’t registered to vote, and half of those who are still don’t vote. This is mind-boggling. It is an accepted fact that if all evangelical Christians voted and did so according to biblical values, we could control every national election and position godly, Bible-believing leaders in office. This means that in one election cycle, we could begin reversing every evil I just listed. Every one. In America, “We the People” have the amazing freedom to choose who we want to rule over us, and “we the believers” have the numbers to ensure they’ll be leaders who possess God’s biblical values. The church could save the lives of babies, the reproductive future of children, God's plan for marriage and the family, and America’s freedoms - almost overnight, if we all voted. Today, I want to focus on making a difference in the great state of Virginia, the covenant root of our nation. At Cape Henry in 1607, Robert Hunt read a covenant that prophesied America’s destiny of sending the gospel of Jesus Christ to the entire world. Virginia became a battleground over parental rights in the gubernatorial election of 2021. Parents were being persecuted for involving themselves in their children’s school curriculum and activities. The Democrat candidate essentially said parents have no right to determine these issues, while candidate Glenn Youngkin stood up for parents, as did Lieutenant Governor candidate Winsome Sears. Both Youngkin and Sears won, with Winsome Sears becoming the first woman of color to hold a statewide office in Virginia. Both are strong believers. This year, Governor Youngkin must step down because of term limits in Virginia, and Lt. Governor Winsome Sears is running for the Governor’s seat. Her opponent, Abigail Spanberger, is a liberal who wants to roll back the clock, allowing schools to once again let boys in girls’ sports - and locker rooms, of course - along with other left-leaning positions. Sears, obviously, does not. Regardless of whether or not we live in Virginia, we can help stop this from occurring in this all-important state. Election day is right around the corner, Tuesday, November 4, and they need our help to keep righteous leadership in this Governor’s seat. MyFaithVotes.org is an informative website that has done the work for you! It is a wonderful one-stop-shop website where you, the Christian voter, can be educated, informed, prepared, and ready to go to the polls. There, you can find information concerning upcoming elections, articles about upcoming bills in Congress you need to be aware of, and much more. If you follow their prompts, you can even find out if you are registered to vote, info on absentee voting, and where to vote near you (state by state). If you are NOT yet registered to vote, their links will take you directly to the right link in YOUR state where you can register to vote online, right then! Additionally, they provide simple ways to engage with those who represent us in our State and U.S. Congresses. You can do all of this from home! And they have a simple, yet very impactful method to influence conservatives who aren’t actively participating in important elections. This campaign is called Write Now 2025. Many of our followers here at Give Him 15 have worked with them successfully in the past. My Faith Votes has the current names/addresses of thousands of registered voters who are pro-life, pro-traditional family, who either don’t vote, or are inconsistent in doing so. If you’d like to help change this, you can go to this link on their website: myfaithvotes.org/startwriting. They will supply a free digital packet with complete, easy-to-follow information, including a letter they have written. You will supply the printing of the letter, envelope, and stamp; that’s it. They also provide a return address to use in order to maintain your privacy. Records show that 30% or more of those who receive these letters are motivated to vote. You will have a positive effect on 30-50% of the recipients of the letters you send. Nationally, My Faith Votes has helped generate thousands of biblically motivated votes, helping turn elections. Think about it - with a couple of hours of your time and a few dollars, you can help elect godly, righteous leaders. With election day just around the corner, please consider getting behind this today! Pray with me: Father, in Christ’s name, we thank You for the awakening we see beginning in the church. The sleeping giant is stirring. Cause the alarm clock to become louder and louder. Make it impossible for Christians in America to silence the alarm or override it with other activities and thoughts. Our hearts, though breaking over many issues, are also filled with faith that You are changing things dramatically. The conscience of a nation is being brought back to life. The heart of a complacent and passive church is being and will continue to be, awakened. Thank You for Your grace and Your mercy. And Father, as believers awaken from complacency and lethargy, motivate them to vote. Give organizations like My Faith Votes great success and participation as they implement Your creative ideas. I ask You to lead many people to participate in their efforts. Give Winsome Sears and other true believers success in their elections. Thank You for turning this nation around. We are very grateful that You did not give up on America. And since You didn’t, we won’t. Your verdict has been rendered: America shall be saved! So be it. And we, Your family, will do our part to see this occur. In Christ’s name, we pray this. Amen. Our decree: We declare that we, the church, will involve ourselves at every level and in all facets of government, releasing the authority and blessing of God into the earth through our prayers and actions. ******************************* You can learn more about how you can help with My Faith Votes’ letter-writing campaign by clicking here: Write Now 2025 Click on the link below to watch the full video. ----------------------------------------------- James Strong, The New Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible (Nashville, TN: Thomas Nelson Publishers, 1990), ref. no. 584.

https://www.givehim15.com/post/october-22-2025 October 22, 2025 Capturing God’s Heart Second Samuel 18 is a sad chapter. King David’s traitorous son, Absalom, is killed and his coup overthrown. A “runner,” as they called them back then, needs to run with the bitter-sweet news to David: “The rebellion is over, but your son is dead.” A fast, gifted runner named Ahimaaz wanted to carry the news, but David’s general chose an unnamed Cushite, and off he went. Ahimaaz, however, was not to be denied: “Please let me also run” (v. 22). The general finally said okay, and Ahimaaz took off. He was so fast that he eventually passed the Cushite and proudly delivered the message to David that the coup was over. “Speed” had won…or had it? When David then asked about his rebellious son Absalom, Ahimaaz answered with embarrassment that he didn’t know. He hadn’t cared enough to find out about David’s son! The Cushite then arrived and gave David the rest of the sad news: “Your son is dead.” Ahimaaz didn’t have the complete message because his motive for running was not for the King; it was for himself. David had not only defeated an enemy, he had also lost a son whom he still loved. Ahimaaz eventually stepped aside in ignorance, insignificance, and embarrassment, as a nameless individual took center stage and delivered the complete message. This is such a poignant warning for us, especially as we move into revival. Our message will always be deficient if it isn’t connected to the King’s heart. I’m speaking, of course, of God, our King. His passions, purposes, and heart of love must be the ultimate goal of our running. In Philippians 3:14, Paul said, “I press toward the mark” (KJV). His goal, or “mark” as he called it, was clear. In verse 12 (NASB), he said, “I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus.” The Gift Mentality The charismatic/Jesus People movements were wonderful, but were unfortunately often tainted by a gift mentality. Leaders ran on the strength of their gifts. This often led to a performance mentality: running to set records, to be first, to be the best, to be the biggest. “Build ‘em big and build ‘em fast!” became the mindset of many in these movements. Overnight sensations were, and in some ways still are, the order of the day. There is nothing biblical about this mindset! Persistent, long-term building should receive more honor than something produced quickly. Sadly, it does not. Far more character is needed to build a work or ministry over a long period of time than to lead something that springs up quickly. These past movements’ overall weaknesses in this regard led to many Christians believing that giftedness qualified one for ministry. Character and God’s heart were replaced by other priorities and motivations, which inevitably led many to build personal kingdoms. A cooperative heart was superseded by a competitive heart. Travailing, agonizing prayer was replaced with the strength of our gifts. Last, and probably most tragically, success was measured not by how well we knew the Father but by how well-known we were. Speed, fueled by ignorance, raced forward out of control and with deficient messages. Ahimaaz passed the Cushite, and the King wept. We were in desperate need of an alignment; our fast-moving, state-of-the-art churches were pulling hard to the right and left. God has been correcting this. One of the basic problems with this unbiblical philosophy of success, aside from its inherent pride and self-exaltation, is that if any part of our vision, which becomes the goal of running, is born of personal ambition rather than God’s heart, we are soon running for ourselves, not the King. Zeal that was originally intended to do something for God, can easily become a zeal to remain successful. This change can be so subtle that it often happens without our even realizing it. The church in America has many ambitious Ahimaazes - individuals running for their own success rather than to satisfy God’s heart. A great vision must not be our starting place. Vision, born of God’s heart, must be our starting place. The questions we must continually ask ourselves are: How well do I understand and relate to the King’s heart in this matter? Is that and that alone my motive for running, for building? Was His heart the birthplace of my vision? Our speed or giftedness NEVER validates our running. Holy Hubert Hubert Lindsay, a gentleman greatly used by God in the early days of the charismatic movement, exemplifies a ministry born of God’s heart. Mr. Lindsay was part of “The Jesus People Movement.” This outpouring was used by God to bring thousands of drug-addicted, sexually perverted, disillusioned, and rebellious young people into the Kingdom of God. Hubert Lindsay eventually became known as “Holy Hubert.” Like King David, who was not called by his father to join the “Potential King Line-up” (see 1 Samuel 16), nothing about Holy Hubert’s appearance or personality made him stand out. But, like David, he possessed something more important: God’s heart. I once had the privilege of hearing Mr. Lindsay speak. He spoke of his calling to minister at the University of California at Berkeley and mentioned the miracles and salvations. He mixed in some humor, and we all laughed, cheered, and applauded. What impacted me most, however, was a passing comment Holy Hubert made about how his ministry at Berkeley had been birthed. “I became so burdened for this generation,” Mr. Lindsay said, “that I would walk the streets of the campus - sometimes all night long - weeping and interceding for those lost kids. I pleaded with God to save those young people.” God had given this man His heart for a lost generation. The Lord answered Hubert’s cry - because it came from Him - and gave Him a revival. Church historians agree that the Jesus movement was incredibly significant in the entire renewal of the ‘60s and ‘70s. And when tracing the roots of The Jesus Movement, one invariably ends up at Berkeley with Holy Hubert Lindsay. Lindsay’s burden cost him dearly, however. His broken heart led to broken bones - not to a large salary or a huge congregation. Lindsay and his wife were beaten on numerous occasions, stabbed, mocked, and ridiculed as they preached the gospel on campus. His wife eventually suffered brain damage from this, and Holy Hubert lost his sight due to the beatings. They bore on their bodies the marks of the Lord Jesus (see Galatians 6:17). The Lindsays picture for us the principle of running with the heart of God, allowing that to become our passion and the motivation for ministry. This heart releases pure revival, keeping it free from the debris of pride and selfish motivation. Pray with me: Father, like an automobile traveling down a well-worn road, the potholes of undealt-with ambition and desire for success can knock us out of alignment. Before we know it, like Ahimaaz, we are running for our own fulfillment, not Yours, speeding down life’s highway in search of self-worth and success. Passion for You will correct this. We believe this has begun. As it continues, our hearts will burn for You, not for our own fulfillment and building our personal kingdoms. Religion will be replaced by relationship; intimacy with You will be our desire and the fuel for our activities. Give us Your heart for lost and hurting people. Give us Your heart for the broken, wounded, and confused. Give us Your heart, even for the rebel. Break our hearts for them - give us many who will walk the streets, weeping for those who are so lost. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Our decree: We decree that the heart of God is being imparted to the church, making us nameless, faceless, and powerful. ********************** Click on the link below to watch the full video.

https://www.givehim15.com/post/october-21-2025 October 21, 2025 The Land is Being Healed The Healing Summit confirmed what I’ve been feeling and sensing for quite some time: we are clearly moving into another season of increased signs and wonders. Many were healed Friday night, there and around the world. I just saw pictures of a church in Liberia that joined us by livestream! Amazing. My brother, Tim, shared a verse Friday night that I often think of when preparing for a service of this type. “And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them” (Luke 5:17). God’s power was definitely present Friday night. Back conditions were healed, tumors/growths disappeared, and more. Because we pray for so many people we don’t stop to talk with each one. We simply pray a short prayer and move to the next. (Even with this approach it takes the six of us a couple of hours.) Because of this we often don’t hear most of the reports until later; plus, we ask people to always check out the healing medically, or by testing their pain level over a period of time, etc., before informing us. This, of course, requires time. In these summits, people have experienced healings from terminal illnesses, cancers, heart conditions, and many other disorders. The healings have occurred, not just in the Middletown summit, but in many other churches and homes. Don’t give up on your healing, and ask the Lord to use you to release His healing power to others. Don’t buy into any doctrine that says one must be a pastor or apostle, etc., to be used by God in this way. Stephen and Philip, whose responsibilities in the church were to serve food to the widows, were both used greatly to release miracles (Acts 6,8). Mark 16:18 tells us “believers” will lay hands on the sick and they’ll recover. Ask and believe for this. Also, please join us in praying for a release of signs and wonders worldwide. Healings and miracles are confirming signs of authenticity for the gospel. Ask for this outpouring of miracles to increase throughout the world - this will be one of the fuels for the great harvest. Healing Our Land Now, let’s focus on the healing of our nation. Second Chronicles 7:14 tells us: “If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” The word “heal” in this verse is the same word used for physical healing in the Old Testament, rapha. It is also the word used in one of God’s names, Jehovah Rapha, “The Lord our Healer” (Exodus 15:26). God not only heals bodies, but He also heals nations, including the very land on which we live. Our sins defile the land. (See Genesis 3:17-19; Deuteronomy 28:16-18, 38-42, Leviticus 20:22). When His people repent, however, turning from their sin and seeking Him, God heals their land. Notice that God did not say that He would do so if unbelievers repented; He said, “If MY people…” God allows “identificational” repentance and intercession by believers; we can stand in the “gap” or “breach” created by the sins of others. This enables God to release His mercy and blessing. Ezekiel 22:30-31 states: “I searched for a man among them who would build up a wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, so that I would not destroy it; but I found no one. So I have poured out My indignation on them; I have consumed them with the fire of My wrath; I have brought their way upon their heads,” declares the Lord God” (NASB). In these sobering verses from Ezekiel, God was unable to find anyone to release the necessary intercession and, tragically, had to send judgment. Such a lack of intercession has not been the case in America, however. God has found intercessors to stand in “the gap,” asking for His grace and mercy, and He is responding by healing our land, doing so through sound, righteous government decisions and the revival that has begun. You are probably one of those who has offered this intercession and I thank you. More importantly, HE thanks you– because it releases Him to do what He loves, granting mercy and sending salvation. Curses are now being broken off our nation and our land, and demonic strongholds are being broken. One example: “A sharp decline in Gen Z Americans identifying as transgender and ***** has occurred, from 6.8% identifying as a gender other than male or female in 2023 compared to 3.6% stating so in 2025.”(1) This demonic ideology is being broken off our children. Another encouraging statistic is that “Americans are buying Bibles and downloading Christian apps and music at surging levels not seen in years, according to recent data reported by Fox News.”(2) And as was prophesied by more than one person, the campuses in America are beginning to experience outpourings of the Holy Spirit. The Lord said the coming great awakening would begin there, and this has begun. The land is being healed. Keep praying! Pray with me: Father, thank You for the breakthroughs many people experienced last Friday night. We are grateful. We ask that this release of signs and wonders would increase here in America and throughout the world. Let the rain of mercy You spoke of in 2016 include a deluge of healing and miracles. Let this include mental and emotional healing. And we ask that these miracles occur, not just in churches, but in the public square. Capture them on video; show them on news channels and social media posts. Cause them to go viral. Glorify Jesus through every possible venue in our world. And we ask for the healing of our land. We have brought curses upon our nation and land by our sins, curses which now oppose our prosperity and health (Leviticus 20:22). But Your people have been praying. We have humbled ourselves before You and asked for Your mercy, which You love to grant. We ask for the healing to continue. Cause it to manifest in every aspect of American society and culture. Heal, then transform. And we ask for this to occur throughout the earth. Cause wise decisions to be made by our government officials. Continue to expose and uncover evil therein and bring lawbreakers to justice. May they no longer get away with their crimes. Our government is filled with many liars and thieves. Please continue to reverse this. Protect our godly, honest leaders and law enforcement individuals. Expose and destroy the organizations that foster and pay for the violence in America. As part of the healing of our land, please help us stop the deception, corruption, and madness. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen. Our decree: We decree that the Lord our Healer is healing our land. ****************************** Click on the link below to watch the full video. ----------------------------------------------- https://www.thecentersquare.com/national/article_2a1d90be-8b34-483a-902c-9097b1e26174.html https://readlion.com/bible-sales-faith-apps-and-christian-music-streams-on-the-rise/

https://www.givehim15.com/post/october-20-2025 October 20, 2025 Many find the account of Gideon’s commissioning somewhat humorous. He was hiding from his enemies, the Midianites, while threshing wheat; these oppressors loved to steal the Israelites’ crops (Judges 6:11). An angel came to him in his hiding place and said, “The Lord is with thee, thou mighty man of valor,” (verse 12). At that moment, Gideon looked nothing like a “man of valor.” Aren’t you glad God sees into the future, knows the plans HE has for us, and deals with us accordingly. In today’s post, Gina Gholston reminds us of this truth and applies it to God’s prophetic timetable. Her insights will encourage you! Gina’s title is: God Is Ordering Our Steps A few years ago, the Lord showed me a vision of clock hands rotating at a very high rate of speed. Then I heard Him say, “Time has accelerated.” By the Spirit, I understood that we were entering a specific time God had set on His timeline, and things were going to begin happening very quickly. We are definitely seeing that acceleration take place now governmentally, socially, and spiritually. It is a holy moment, and God is calling the church to get into position. He is joining and positioning His body. As we each take our place and release our supply, we will function in the demonstration of the Spirit that gives evidence of the reality of Jesus. (Ephesians 4:13-16) This is a set time, and set times bring acceleration. This isn’t an indication that God is behind schedule, trying to catch up; rather, He causes things to shift and align with His timing and plans. Though these actions may feel like “suddenlies,” they’re actually the unfolding of plans God has been weaving. For many of us, what unfolds in these times may stretch us beyond our perceived limitations, but we must trust that God knows what He is doing. The Holy Spirit will awaken us to gifts and abilities He has placed in us that are necessary for His plan. God has led us, prepared us, and now He will launch and position us for the fulfillment of His plans and purposes. I recall a transitional moment in my life that unfolded several years ago. During that time, many things in my personal life shifted and stretched me. One evening, as I was driving, the Lord visited me in my car and began speaking to me about what He had been doing - and was about to do - in and through my life. Words cannot explain what I felt in that encounter. It was life-changing! I was hearing God say to me, in essence, “I placed in you a purpose for this time, and now, I am opening the way for you to be and do what I’ve created you to be and do.” This was a defining moment for me. His words did not produce pride; to be honest, I struggled to fully embrace what He was saying about me. My initial thoughts were more like those of Gideon’s: You must have the wrong person! Who am I that You should say such things to and about me? My mind immediately began trying to figure out the “how” of what He was saying. Nothing in my present moment indicated that what I was hearing could possibly be true. But God wasn’t speaking about who I WAS; He was speaking about who I was BECOMING. What He revealed that night pointed me in a direction I would never have been aware of, had He not spoken. His words awakened in me a right perspective for the things that would transpire in the days and years ahead, as He unfolded the future He had planned for me. As we surrender ourselves to the Lord, He will guide us down the path of destiny He has designed for our lives. God’s part is to order our steps and plan our ways; our part is to trust Him and obediently step where He orders. As we do, this enables us to release the supply He has placed in us. When God began unfolding His plan for my life, I never thought that sharing the dreams, visions, and prophetic words He gives me would be an avenue through which He would use me. But He knew, and was orchestrating all the necessary components to mature and harvest the seeds He had planted in me...because it was time. Though I had not realized it, all along my journey, God had been ordering my steps. He saw what was ahead, and had been consistently guiding and preparing me. More often than not, we don’t realize that our steps are being ordered by the Lord. But God, in His infinite wisdom, is always working His plan for our lives. And at the right time, He brings us into launching moments for His will to be fulfilled. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us to “Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, and He will make your paths straight and smooth...” (Amplified Bible) The focus of these verses is not so much on straight and smooth paths, but on the fact that if we follow and focus on the Lord, He will direct our steps and clear our paths. The fulfillment of God’s intentions for our lives will only be fully realized as we trust in, rely on, recognize, and acknowledge Him in all our ways. With faith in Him, we can follow the path and discover all that the journey has in store. Yahweh knows every step we are to take. He knows the “how” and He knows the “when.” And we have entered a “when” moment! There are things that will now be put in place quickly in order for the purposes of God to be realized. We must not allow our perceived limitations to dictate our responses to His leading. Rather, we must trust His wisdom, and allow Him to strategically position us for His plan to be revealed and fulfilled…because it is time. Pray with me: Father, You are awakening and launching important aspects of Your plans for this season. You have declared the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10), and at Your command things are quickly aligning with Your will and purposes. Though we do not know every detail concerning what is ahead, we trust and believe that every part of the plan You have established for us will be fulfilled. You are imparting great grace to instruct and enable us to perform our part in Your plan. Help us to believe and embrace the revelation of who You say we are and of what You are calling us to do - without filtering it through the confines of our perceived limitations. As we trust in, rely on, recognize, and acknowledge You in all our ways, give us the understanding and strength to accomplish all that You have called us to. Like Gideon, we will become who You say we are, defeating the enemies of our destiny, and partnering with You in Your present plans. It is time, and we will reap the harvest of Your full intentions. In Jesus’ Name, Amen. Our decree: We decree that God has prepared and positioned us for our future, and will fulfill His plans and purposes for our lives. *********************** Click on the link below to watch the full video. --------------------------------------------------- Today’s post was contributed by Gina Gholston. https://www.givehim15.com/post/october-17-2025 October 17, 2025 Make the Shift In August of 2022 my brother, Tim Sheets, said there was coming a stronger merger in Christ’s Kingdom between the natural and spiritual realms, the earthly and heavenly. This merging would result in new levels and manifestations of the Kingdom of God. Tim declared: “A merger is now beginning that will accelerate a new era Pentecost. Power and Kingdom authority will be seen on earth as never before. We have been prophesying this for a long time, and Holy Spirit says, ‘The merger is now occurring. The glory of My presence will now fill prepared territories, regions, and nations.’” Tim went on to say, “Ekklesias are getting traction in these places. I also heard Holy Spirit say, ‘Surge after surge of the King’s manifest presence will spawn sudden miracles. The enemies of the Kingdom will be disoriented and will fight each other, resulting in freedoms decreed by King Jesus and His Ekklesia. This will be assisted by My angel armies, for I will release My mighty ones to labor with you; My mighty angels are moving into the earth realm.’” Then he stated, “The glory of God is going to amp up in certain regions and territories in such a way that it will create miracles and breakthroughs. I believe we are moving NOW - not years from now - into a season of suddenlies. Sudden strikes of high-ranking angels, under Holy Spirit’s supervision, fueled by the decrees of a functioning Ekklesia. “I feel the Ekklesia as a whole is shifting into another gear. Holy Spirit is bringing change, prophetic words are about to come to pass, and powerful angels are being released. Something has shifted, and we are moving into another gear.” Then, knowing it can be difficult to shift into a new season, Tim used an interesting analogy, saying, “Dutch, you and I are old enough to know how cars with standard transmissions and stick shifts operate. You use a clutch when shifting gears. Sometimes, if the clutch is bad or the gears aren’t perfectly synchronized, the gears grind somewhat as an attempt is made to engage them. I feel this is occurring now in the spiritual realm. We are struggling to shift into this next gear, but will do so.” While listening to Tim, I recalled a similar experience I had several years ago. While in worship I suddenly heard the sound of gears grinding. This wasn’t something I was hearing literally but inwardly, in the spiritual realm. When I asked Holy Spirit what this meant, He said, “I’m shifting the church into another season.” Exactly as Tim had referenced! The Holy Spirit knew that by using this mechanical analogy, I would immediately understand what He was saying. Due to ignorance, uncertainty, resistance, hesitancy, past paradigms, etc., some in the church were experiencing difficulty in shifting. Holy Spirit is once again shifting the church into a new season. We have been in a forerunning season of preparation; we are now moving into an awakening that will produce salvation, healing, deliverance, and ultimately great reformation. The healing aspect of this new season is what we are focusing on in tonight’s Healing Summit. Holy Spirit is shifting our mindsets and awakening our faith to the fact that it’s time to shift. John 5:1-9 tells the story of a paralyzed man healed by Jesus. It was believed by the Jews of the day that an angel periodically stirred the waters of the pool named Bethesda, located at the Sheep Gate, and the first person into the water was healed. At the Pool, Jesus approached a man who had been in a paralyzed condition for 38 years and asked what seemed like a strange question: “Do you truly long to be well?” (John 5:6 TPT). The man’s answer revealed that although he was waiting at the pool, he really had no hope of being healed. “I have no one to help me into the water and someone else always gets there first.” I believe Jesus asked the paralytic this question to point out that his hope was misplaced. Although he was waiting for the miraculous stirring of the pool, Yahweh - not the pool itself - was the source of the miracle he needed. A couple of feet and only seconds away from his miracle, just moments from total restoration, the man wasn’t able to recognize it. He needed to shift his thinking; his paradigm and his faith were based on the past. But Jesus had come - it was a new season! That which Bethesda symbolized was now being fulfilled. This symbolism of Bethesda is truly amazing: Bethesda means “house of lovingkindness or mercy.” The Sheep Gate (verse 2) next to it (verse 2) was where the lambs - used for the temple sacrifices and picturing Christ, our Passover Lamb - were brought into the Temple. Five, the number of porticoes around the pool (also verse 2), is the biblical number of grace. Putting all of this together, the pool of Bethesda and the symbolism associated with it pictures Christ, the Passover lamb, entering our fallen world to give us grace and mercy. He would bring wholeness and health to the “diseased” human race. This disabled man was staring at THE Lamb Himself, God’s gift of grace, the fulfillment of what everything around him pictured, yet didn’t realize it. An incredible opportunity, his kairos moment, had arrived, but he was trapped in the past. The gears were grinding, but Jesus helped him shift into the new season and a new life. We must listen carefully to Holy Spirit - “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches” (Revelation 2:7) - in order to recognize the timing for God’s shifts. Reader’s Digest told of the late, great golf instructor, Harvey Penick: In the 1920s, Penick bought a red spiral notebook and began jotting down observations about golf. He never showed the book to anyone other than his son until 1991, when he shared it with a local writer and asked if he thought it was worth publishing. The man read it and told him yes. The writer presented it to Simon and Schuster, then left word with Penick’s wife the next evening that they had agreed to an advance of $90,000! When the writer told Penick, the golfing expert seemed troubled. Finally, Penick came clean. With all his medical bills, he said, there was no way he could advance Simon & Schuster that much money. The writer had to explain that Penick would be the recipient of the $90,000! His first golf book, Harvey Penick’s Little Red Book, sold more than a million copies, one of the biggest best-sellers in the history of sports books. His second book And If You Play Golf, You’re My Friend, sold nearly three-quarters of a million.(1) Whether it be book writing, physical miracles, or the salvation of a loved one, we sometimes live in the waiting stage so long that it becomes difficult to believe in God’s mercy when it is offered. Listen with faith! God is saying it is time to shift. Accept the offer. Pray with me: Father, thank You for moving us from glory to glory, strength to strength, and faith to faith. You are not a stagnant God! And You said there would be no end to the increase of Christ’s Kingdom (Isaiah 9:6-7). We are confident of this, our faith in You is strong. You have told us that a new merger of Your glory, angelic warriors, and an empowered Ekklesia is coming. We are determined to participate in this. We will shift with You. We ask You for an infusion of strength, revelation, and power enabling us to make this shift us into the new season. We ask You for the miracles spoken of. We ask for the suddenlies. We ask for strong outpourings of your Spirit to spring up. We ask for an increase of prophetic anointing to discern and hear clearly what You are doing. And we ask that the fruit of this will be the rescue of millions of hearts around the world. Give us the billion soul harvest we have been prophetically hearing of. We ask that You continue to dismantle evil systems and render ineffective those who oppose You. With the keys of Your kingdom we now bind every attempt to stop this divine shift, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. Our decree: We decree that we will shift into God’s new season of signs, wonders, and worldwide harvest. ****************************** Click on the link below to watch the full video. ----------------------------------------------- Watch the Healing Summit livestream at 7PM EST at oasiswired.org. ---------------------------------------------------- 1. https://www.givehim15.com/post/october-16-2025 October 16, 2025 The Mouse and the Elephant Unlike most of you, I love to wait. NOT! I mean, really, who enjoys waiting? There are several things regarding waiting that I would fix immediately if I were put in charge of the world. Driving in the passing lane of a highway without passing another vehicle would result in a $500 fine for first-time offenses and automatic loss of the driver’s license on the second occasion. Retaking driver’s education would be required in order to get it back. Actually, I might just make EVERYONE take (or retake or take for the first time) driver’s education, even without this offense, then they all would know how to use BLINKERS. Families or friends whose group stretches ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE TERMINAL CORRIDOR in airports, walking slowly, chit-chatting, and blocking those of us who have places to go and things to do, would lose all flying privileges. (Unless they took an Airport Walker’s Education class.) Folks standing in check-out lines talking with the cashier, telling them their life’s story while the rest of us in line wait, albeit patiently. They will be charged an extra $100 for their purchase. In my book, The Pleasure of His Company, I share several more ways I could improve the world if I were in charge. It’s easy to see that, given the right opportunity, I could correct much of the injustice in the world and eliminate the stress caused by unnecessary waiting. These “injustices” aren’t actually a big deal to me, by the way. For the most part, I’m a pretty well-adjusted, mild-mannered, cool, calm, and collected guy. Okay, so I don’t like waiting. Most of us don’t. But there is one type of waiting I’ve learned to enjoy: waiting on God. Before you question my honesty, let me point out that I’m not talking about waiting for God to answer my prayers. Like you, I don’t enjoy that. The waiting I enjoy is spending time in His presence. The biblical concept of “waiting on the Lord” is understood by few people these days. Like many other biblical words, much is lost in the translation. Carefully defining three Old Testament words translated as “wait” or “waiting” will give us much clearer insight. The first word is duwmiyah,(1) which means “silently waiting with a quiet trust.” The thought conveyed is a strong, calm, quiet trust in the Lord. David said, “My soul waits in silence for God only; from Him is my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation, My stronghold; I shall not be greatly shaken” (Psalm 62:1-2). The second word, chakah,(2) means “adhere to” or “long for.” The psalmist said, “Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield” (Psalm 33:20). The writer was clinging to the Lord, knowing that He would come through as a help in time of trouble. When David said, “My soul thirsts for God” (Psalm 42:2; 63:1), he was chakah - longing for God’s company. The third word, qavah,(3) has two important meanings. The first is to “wait for with eager expectation.” Notice the combination of excitement and faith in this definition. Those who qavah for the Lord are doing more than passively waiting; they’re anticipating and expecting. Psalm 27:14 tells us, “Wait for the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the Lord.” Another powerful meaning of qavah exists, however: “to bind together by twisting,” as in a braid or a rope. As we spend time with the Lord, our hearts are joined, creating oneness of desires, thinking, and actions. Passions are shared, creating energy and action. Another result of braiding, however, is increased strength. Isaiah said, “Yet those who wait (qavah) for the Lord will renew their strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary” (Isaiah 40:31). The renewing of strength this verse promises is the result of being braided together with God. When the strands of a rope are braided into one, the strength of each strand is synergistically transferred to the other. When we wait on God by spending time with Him, His strength is transferred to us and vice versa. Guess who gets the better deal? It’s like the mouse and elephant who were best friends. They hung out together all the time, the mouse riding on the elephant’s back. One day, they crossed a wooden bridge, causing it to bow, creak and sway under their combined weight. The mouse, impressed with their ability to make such an impact, said to the elephant, “We sure shook up that bridge, didn’t we?” In our union with God, guess who the mouse is? Let’s summarize these three meanings of biblical waiting, combining them into one complete definition of “waiting on the Lord”: Quietly waiting with a strong, calm trust; longing for His presence and eagerly expecting Him, for you know He’ll come; and knowing that as He does, you and He will experience an increased oneness, a braiding together, your hearts and lives becoming more entwined. That’s what I’m talking about! If that doesn’t float your boat, you need a new boat. Practically speaking, what describes this type of activity? Do we sit quietly, trying to enter a trancelike state wherein we can more easily enter the spirit realm? No. The meditation process taught in Scripture — which is but one form of waiting on God — is not an altered state of consciousness. It is simply musing on, thinking about, or reflecting on God or a passage of Scripture. Waiting on the Lord can be done while sitting, kneeling, walking, lying down, or driving–it isn’t the position of the body, but the posture of the heart. Prayer, worship, or contemplative thinking are all ways through which we “wait upon” Him. There is nothing complicated about it. A quality “quiet time” is a means of waiting on the Lord. Make it enjoyable - sit with a cup of coffee and visit with Him. I’ve sat in front of a fire for hours, enjoying the pleasure of His company. For me, it doesn’t get any better than that. Quality, however, is more important than quantity. I’ve received great revelation and insight from Holy Spirit from just a few minutes of visiting with Him. It is also important to wait upon Him with regularity. All of us should have regular quiet times of waiting on the Lord that are shorter, whether they be thirty minutes or an hour, and all of us should occasionally spend longer times with Him. Learn to wait. In this hectic world of microwaves, bullet trains, and air travel, some things still take time. Slow down. If only for a few minutes a day - slow down and find Him. I promise you that if you will, you’ll live longer...and you’ll live better. Pray with me: Father, help us to become comfortable with the art of waiting on You with strong, calm, quiet trust. Bind our hearts tightly to Yours, as we abide. We want to be one with You in thought and desire, reflecting the glory of Christ. We choose to slow down and position our hearts to wait. Echoing the prayer of the psalmist, this one thing will we seek: to dwell in Your house all the days of our lives, meditating, gazing, simply beholding every facet of Your beauty (Psalm 27:4)...enjoying the pleasure of Your company. As we do, cause us to experience a oneness with Your heart, a braiding together with You. May we think Your thoughts, desire Your desires, love what You love, and hate what You hate. And we embrace Your promise that we will run with Your strength, move in Your gifts, release Your power, and speak Your words. Fill us afresh and anew as we wait on You! In Christ’s name we pray. Amen. Our decree: We declare that we will re-prioritize waiting and listening to Holy Spirit, knowing that as we do, He WILL share His heart with us. ******************************* Today’s post was taken from my book The Pleasure of His Company, published by Baker Books. https://www.givehim15.com/post/october-15-2025 October 15, 2025 The Important Connection Moses was dead (Joshua 1:2). It was bittersweet, for he was the last of a generation that had to die before the next generation was allowed to stop wandering in the desert and living in tents. Israel’s inheritance awaited them – nice cities, homes, gardens, and more. After his death, they could possess this inheritance. And yet Moses was the great leader who led them out of slavery with amazing signs and wonders. But he was gone, and his spiritual son, Joshua, was about to take over for him. In three days, He would lead this chosen nation into the Promised Land. For over four hundred years, this had all been in the works. It started with Abraham, whom God chose to help Him redeem fallen humankind; Messiah would come through his offspring. As a thank you, God promised him some land. Abraham and his descendants would have to wait for the land, however. Yahweh wouldn’t simply take it from its current occupants and give it to him. In His justice, He would wait until the sins of the inhabitants reached a level that justified it (Genesis 15:16). It was time. What should be done to prepare for the momentous fulfillment of this great four-hundred-year-old promise? Four centuries is a long wait. Certainly, something very special should be done over the next three days to celebrate and prepare. Should they fast? Pray? Worship nonstop for the next seventy-two hours? Throw a three-day party? Whatever we do, it needs to be monumental, they probably thought. There was a lot of packing to do, of course, but a very important spiritual assignment was given in order to prepare for this historical crossing over. “Qadash yourselves,” Joshua told them, “for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you” (Joshua 3:5). Qadash is an important Hebrew word meaning “to set apart.”(1) In biblical contexts, it was most often used as being “set apart UNTO God.” There is another Hebrew word for separation FROM, nazir,(2) but qadash is separation UNTO. It is often translated using theological terms like sanctify or consecrate, but don’t let that complicate this simple concept. The Biblical concept of qadash is simply “to separate and set apart a person or object unto God.” Setting something apart to God meant it was dedicated to or reserved for Him. For example, furniture and utensils in the temple were qadash-ed to God, meaning they were not to be used for any other purpose. The same was true with people. The Israelites were to be qadash-ed to God – they must not give themselves to the worship of other gods. On special occasions, the Israelites were often asked by God to qadash themselves to Him, drawing near in an extra special way. This would be like a husband and wife getting away for a day or two, perhaps even for a vacation, to separate themselves from other activities and spend extra, quality time connecting with one another. Occasionally, God asked Israel to qadash themselves to Him in this additional manner. The key to truly understanding God’s heart in the use of qadash is the “unto Him” aspect. We have made sanctification and consecration religious and legalistic, interpreting them as separating ourselves FROM certain activities. This is inaccurate; they are actually relational concepts. A poor understanding of this has hindered our connection to the Lord. Consecration is for connection. In the same way that the wedding vow is relational, so is spiritual sanctification. The Lord’s request to Joshua and the Israelites before this monumental occasion was simple: “Draw near to Me. Let’s celebrate this new day by celebrating one another’s company.” How refreshing is that! Interestingly, the Old Testament word for “holy” is qodesh, a derivative of qadash. Like sanctification, being holy doesn’t mean to be separated “from sin,” but rather separated “unto God.” Inanimate objects were actually called “holy” (qodesh)(3) in Scripture, as were places and days. Obviously, this was not because they hadn’t sinned. It was due to the fact that they had been “set apart to God” (qadash). Holiness isn’t defined by sinlessness! It is defined as “belonging to God.” It is comforting to know that my relationship with God centers not around my outward performance but my inward heart. I’d rather reach toward God than run from sin. I’ll take a God who wants me more than my good works any day. There’s a vast difference between performing for acceptance and performing from acceptance. God has already “accepted” us through Christ’s sacrifice (Ephesians 1:6). Connect with Him. Celebrate His love and acceptance, allowing the power of His purity to flow through you. Then, like Joshua and the Israelites, prepare to move into your glorious future, found through your union with Him. Pray with me: Lord, help us to keep our walk with You simple, resting in Your grace and trusting in Your love. Keep us from striving toward perfection and consecration in our own strength. Remind us of Your desire that we draw near to You, and that from this connection we receive power to walk in holiness and consecration. We draw near to You now, Father, responding to Your call to qadash ourselves. As we do, fill us with power and purity. Make us more like You in all our ways. We are confident that as we do, Your life will flow through us to others. You will do for us as You did for Israel, working wonders through and for us. In Jesus’ name, we receive this. Amen. Our decree: We declare that we will pursue the Lord, drawing near to Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. *************************** Today’s post was adapted from a chapter in my book The Pleasure of His Company, published by Baker Books. https://www.givehim15.com/post/october-14-2025 October 14, 2025 The Hostages Are Home! Today, we celebrate peace in the Middle East after President Trump and other leaders signed a historic peace agreement. President Trump was in Israel for the release of the hostages, and also made a historic address to Israel’s parliament, the Knesset. With dozens of world leaders in attendance, this significant peace agreement, brokered by President Trump and signed in Egypt, ended two years of fighting in Gaza. Trump said, “This is the day that people across this region and around the world have been working, striving, hoping, and praying for. With the historic agreement we have just signed, those prayers of millions have finally been answered. Together, we have achieved the impossible. This breakthrough that we’re here to celebrate tonight is more than the end of the war in Gaza; with God’s help, it’ll be the new beginning for an entire beautiful Middle East. All the momentum now is toward a great, glorious, and lasting peace, and our commitment to fulfilling the 20-point plan we developed together will be the crucial foundation for achieving that bright future.” Trump suggested that the next phase of the plan would be rebuilding from the rubble in Gaza. Secretary of State Marco Rubio also tirelessly contributed to the negotiations of the peace plan, which took nine months.(1) After 735 days of captivity, Hamas released all of the twenty living Israeli hostages in exchange for hundreds of Palestinian prisoners. The remains of four of the twenty-eight deceased hostages were also released, and others are supposed to be coming. While the excitement over the release of the hostages is palpable, many details of the peace plan remain to be finalized. These include the governance of Gaza, the disarmament of Hamas (which they have thus far rejected), and Gaza’s demand for statehood. So far, Israel is saying no to that. “Mr. Trump’s plan to end the war also stipulates that regional and international partners will work to develop the core of a new Palestinian security force. Reconstruction will be another major challenge. The World Bank and a postwar plan proposed by Egypt estimate that at least $53 billion will be needed to rebuild the shattered Palestinian territory. Egypt plans to host a future reconstruction conference.”(2) Regardless of the challenges and what happens as they move forward, the progress thus far is enormous. Without President Trump’s efforts, including his savage blow to Iran and his efforts to build bridges in the Middle East, this would have never happened. We must pray that breakthrough continues and peace prevails. And as we give honor to President Trump for his efforts, we should recall that his efforts have resulted in the ending of eight major conflicts/wars around the world: Thailand & Cambodia Israel & Iran Rwanda & the Democratic Republic of the Congo India & Pakistan Serbia & Kosovo Egypt & Ethiopia Armenia and Azerbaijan, and now Israel & Hamas President Trump has also completely changed NATO and its 32 members. Each country of Europe and North America was required to share 2% of its annual budget with NATO for the defense of Europe. Most of them have not done so for years, expecting the U.S. to protect them and the American taxpayers to foot the bill. Trump said, “No more.” The percentage was raised to 5% and incredibly, all of the nations are now stepping up to the plate to pay their fair share. Russia and China are now being weakened by the tariffs. Russia is also being weakened by its war with Ukraine, as well as America’s financial pressure. Trump has now agreed to sell some very nasty weapons to the European Union, which they will provide to Ukraine. These weapons will prove devastating to Russia. In short, God is using this man to radically transform the international scene. Pray for him; he is hated by the powers of darkness and those they influence. President Donald Trump will go down in history as the Peacemaker President, probably more than any other. Many are comparing him to Winston Churchill, the statesman and leader, primarily known for leading Britain to victory in World War II. Our President is also being compared to the Persian King Cyrus. God used this sixth-century king to fulfill His divine purpose and plan for the Jewish nation. We must continue to pray for him and his team, asking God for wisdom and protection. God is using President Trump to bring healing and the beginning of peace to Israel and the Middle East. For this, we are grateful. For months, many have been saying that the Prince of Persia’s hold over the region will be dismantled. This is that. That does not mean, of course, that there is no longer any satanic or demonic influence in the region. But this spirit/principality has been creating chaos, death, and destruction in that region for thousands of years. That influence is being removed and will result in a great, great spiritual harvest. This harvest has already begun, of course, but will increase dramatically. As we give Trump and his team the credit they deserve, don’t forget to thank the Lord, who made it possible, and those whose prayers birthed this in the spirit. On Monday afternoon, after working on today’s post, I was on a call with several prophetic leaders discussing the peace plan in the Middle East. Some of the themes and words they have been receiving included: Isaiah 19:23-25 is a word for now. It speaks of a highway the Lord creates from Egypt, unifying them with Assyria and Israel. Isaiah 60 was mentioned, which speaks of the light and glory of the Lord transforming nations, as well as camels and ships bringing the wealth of the nations to serve His cause. We are on the cusp of an incredible revival and harvest throughout the Middle East. It was strongly emphasized that God loves not only the Jewish people but ALL people in that region. One person prophesied that an incredible revival would come to Gaza. Also on the call, there was a recurring theme that we must not grow complacent but continue to pray against obstacles, ensuring the enemy is not successful in distracting or wearying the church and thereby altering God’s plans and purposes. (Daniel 7:25) We are living in incredible times that demand our focus, determination, and commitment to the Lord’s plans. We must continue to walk in the anointing of Issachar (1 Chronicles 12:32), discerning the times and seasons, which enables us to know what to do. God is trusting us with much; we must steward it wisely. Pray with me: Father, we are living in incredible times and are in awe of what You are doing. You are Lord over the nations, and are working to position them for this great coming harvest. We are partnering with You in this, praying not only for our President and his team, but also for harvesters to be raised up and principalities to be pulled down. Father, we rejoice that the hostages were released, and new beginnings in the Middle East have begun. We are excited about what You are doing. The strongholds of darkness are being dismantled, and light is shining. Your glory is coming forth and will shine like the midday sun (Isaiah 60). You love not only the Jews, but the Arab population as well, and came to offer Yourself as a sacrifice for the entire world. Continue to release dreams and visions in that region, and raise up powerful evangelists to preach Your gospel. Send evangelists to Gaza, just as You sent Phillip into that region, on the road “to Gaza” in Acts 8:26. And we bind every attempt of the enemy to weaken the church, to distract the intercessors, and thereby alter the times and seasons. We declare that this will not occur. All of this we pray in the all-powerful name and authority of Jesus. Amen. Our decree: We decree that we will not miss this time of visitation (Luke 19:44), and the harvest God has planned for our day will not be stolen. ********************************* Click on the link below to watch the full video. ------------------------------------------------ https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-celebrates-peace-middle-east-after-signing-gaza-deal-achieved-impossible https://www.cbsnews.com/live-updates/israel-hamas-peace-deal-live-updates-hostages-trump-knesset-egypt/

https://www.givehim15.com/post/october-13-2025 October 13, 2025 Mega Grace, Mega Power, and Mega Miracles The Communion America gathering in Washington, D.C., was a powerful time. I am confident it brought pleasure to the Father, allowing Him to release mercy over our nation, a mercy that will increase the momentum of revival here and around the world. God loves to grant mercy. Thank you for participating; I know some of you were there in person, and others joined online. You are part of the Ekklesia and army God has raised up to partner with Him, and your participation in events such as this is truly significant. Today, I want to mention another important meeting taking place this upcoming Friday night. I will give you specifics at the end of the post. First, consider the following thoughts regarding a small but powerful word. The English word “mega” comes from the Greek word megas, the word for “great.” Megas means “great, the highest level of rank, excellence, or importance; greatly surpassing others of its kind.”(1) Our English version, “mega,” was first coined and used, so far as is known, in 1968.(2) There can be megas intelligence, idiocy, wealth, peace, pain, fame - almost anything. There is also a different form of this Greek word megistos, which means “exceedingly great.” It’s one thing to be mega, another thing to be exceedingly mega! The New Testament uses the word megas numerous times, referring to various subjects. I find it interesting and appropriate that it only uses megistos once, when speaking of God’s amazing promises: “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” (2 Peter 1:4). How about that: exceedingly mega promises! Apostle Paul spoke of a megas door for effective ministry being opened to him in Ephesus (1 Corinthians 16:9). He added that there were also many adversaries, but regardless, he was going to remain there for a season: the megas door was greater and more important than potential problems. Was it ever! Read Paul’s letter to the Ephesians and thank him for going through the door. The Scriptures also speak of megas wonders and miracles: “And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people” (Acts 6:8). Evidently, there are miracles, and then there are great miracles. Perhaps healing a broken bone would be a miracle; creating one would be a mega-miracle. Walking on water would qualify as a mega-miracle! As would raising the dead! The healing of the lame man at the Gate Beautiful in Acts 3 would certainly be a mega-miracle. Deacon Philip was used to bring healing to “many” lame and paralyzed people in Samaria (Acts 8:7). These would certainly be mega-miracles, and verse 8 tells us they produced “megas joy.” I imagine so! That may be a megas understatement! The megas miracles in Acts were caused by “megas power” and “megas grace.” “And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all” (Acts 4:33). My belief is that the mega-grace released the mega-power. Grace is undeserved favor, mercy, provision, and ability. We don’t deserve God’s kindness based on our own righteousness and works; it is a gift to us through Christ. We are saved by grace through faith in Christ. The church in Acts had identified with Christ. His blood from the Mercy Seat of heaven had cleansed them and imparted God’s very own righteousness to them. They now had continual access to His “all-sufficient” grace, releasing God’s power and causing them to “abound (excel) in every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8). Mega-grace releases mega-power. Several leaders, including me, will be hosting another Healing Summit this week, Friday night, October 17, in Middletown, Ohio. We are asking God for and expecting a megas door to open, a door of megas grace, producing megas power and megas miracles, resulting in megas joy. We are basing this faith on His “exceeding great” promises. If you can’t attend, join us online. Many churches will actually participate in this way, worshipping with us, listening to our exhortations, and then praying for people themselves as we begin to do so. We love this, believing that the purpose of the summits is not only to pray for people, but to pray for a release of signs and wonders EVERYWHERE. We are not promoting our ministries, but Christ’s. Signs and wonders that point to Him will accompany the great revival that has begun. I’m sure most of you know that Christ is not Jesus’ last name. The word means “the anointed one.” He is “Jesus, the Anointed One.” And by God’s grace, the Anointed One has anointed all of us with the same power-producing oil of Holy Spirit with which He was anointed. Please pray and believe with us that this oil flows on Friday night to heal the sick and diseased. Let’s ask for this now. Pray with me: Father, You tell us in Your Word that signs and wonders will accompany the preaching of the gospel (Mark 16:15-20). Although there has been a lull in this over the past few decades, at least in America, we believe the atmosphere is pregnant once again with Your miraculous power. You told us to ask for the release of this power (Zechariah 10:1), therefore, we are doing so. We ask that You send the rain of miracles throughout the world, miracles of such magnitude that people are awakened to the reality of who Jesus is. Our hearts are moved, Father, over the suffering of people. Use believers everywhere to bring healing and deliverance to others. Release the gifts of Your Spirit to perform megas miracles and deliverances. Increase revelation and faith among believers, enabling them to believe for this, and stretch forth Your hand to heal. Use this service in Ohio to increase signs and wonders throughout the earth. Cause it to be an “intercessory” meeting, through which gifts of Holy Spirit are released to the body of Christ. And we ask that Your power be present to heal on that night, that great signs and wonders be done in the name of Jesus. Use this gathering and the miracles produced to bring great glory to Him. And in His name we pray, amen. Our decree: We decree that great grace, great power, and great miracles are increasing in the earth. *************************** To learn more about the upcoming Healing Summit in Middletown, Ohio, Friday, October 17, visit OasisWired.org. God Stopped Time * Dutch Sheets * GiveHIM15 * 10/10/2025
ronscarpa posted a topic in Off Topic posts
https://www.givehim15.com/post/october-10-2025 October 10, 2025 God Stopped Time Tomorrow (October 11, 2025) will be a significant day in the U.S. as millions of Americans partake of the Lord’s Table together (Communion America). Many will do so onsite in Washington, D.C., and multitudes will join online from around the world (some have been doing so since last night). Believers will be reminded and partake of Christ’s victory at Calvary - both for themselves and for the nation/s, and satan will be reminded of his crippling defeat at the hands of Yeshua. The timing of this has been orchestrated by Holy Spirit. At the prayer banquet in D.C., for the Supreme Court, this past Monday night, Chuck Pierce spoke of God stopping time for Joshua and Israel. They needed more daylight to win a strategic battle, a battle being waged to honor their covenant with Gibeon (Joshua 10:1-14). Chuck shared that God had “stopped time” for us in America so that we, too, might win our current battle for the soul of America. He wasn’t speaking literally, of course, but figuratively, stating that God has altered the times and seasons (Daniel 2:20–21), giving us the time needed to shift and restore our nation. I shared after Chuck and changed my message to piggyback on the prophetic word God had given him. I spoke of the different words for “time” in Scripture and how knowing which “time” we are in determines our actions. I declared that we have entered “the right time“ (horaios) not only to shift the Supreme Court, but to see America revived and restored (I’ll explain this word momentarily). God does not pour out His Spirit simply when He “finally chooses or decides to.” As the eternal God who sees the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10), He does not have to “finally decide” whether or not He wants to do something. His works and ways are predicated on principles and truth, not His mood or emotions. Where revival is concerned, God must release it when hearts are hungry and ready to receive Him. He uses the desperation and needs of people to create this hunger, as well as using the prayers of His people in this process. He also prepares the church to work with Him in these outpourings of His Spirit. All of this is coordinated to converge at the appropriate timing. Here is a short summary of the different times and seasons in the New Testament. First of all, there is the Greek word chronos. This is “general time, a season of time.”(1) Our English word “chronology” originates from the Greek word. In the life of a farmer, this would be the season of plowing, sowing, tending to the growing crop, and the many other practical aspects of preparing a harvest. Then there is kairos, a word meaning the “strategic or opportune time.”(2) Again, using the analogy of a farmer, this would be when the crop has ripened and is ready to be reaped. These two words can apply to many subjects, however, not just to farming. We can see these phases in the lives of Abraham and Sarah. Abraham was told that they would have a son. Most of us would expect the child to come relatively soon after receiving the word. They certainly did. Instead, however, they entered into a 24-year chronos season in which God was preparing them…and no doubt continuing to prepare the world regarding His redemptive plans. At the appropriate time, Yahweh appeared to them again—24 long years, lots of miles, and many struggles later—stating that it was time (Genesis 17:21). The Lord told them that Sarah would have a child within one year. They had shifted into a kairos season: the “opportune time” had arrived. But there is yet another stage of timing: “the right time” to act. In Acts chapter 3, Peter prayed for a man who had been born lame and was now over 40 years old. As a young boy, his family placed him at one of the prominent temple gates, a gate named “Beautiful,” where he daily begged for alms (Acts 3:2). Because of the gate’s location, Jesus had to have passed by this man dozens–if not hundreds–of times without healing him. Most other Israelites knew of him, having seen him while in Israel for the major feasts. Although Jesus had passed by him many times without healing him, on this day, just after Pentecost, Peter was led by Holy Spirit to do so. Interestingly, the Greek word translated as “Beautiful” in this verse does not mean beauty in the literal sense of attractiveness. The word, horaios,(3) actually means “right time.” Occasionally, it is used figuratively to mean beautiful because when events and circumstances come together in the right way, at the right time, it creates something “beautiful.” The “Beautiful Gate” was “The Right Time” gate. Think about the incredible picture this gives us. Holy Spirit orchestrated the naming of this gate–“The Right Time”–years earlier. He made certain that the lame man’s family chose it as the place he would sit daily and beg (His chronos season began). And He led Jesus NOT to perform the miracle (still the chronos time). He was saving it for just “the right time.” Holy Spirit knew the early church would reach a kairos, an opportune window of time when they would need this miracle, a sign and wonder of incredible proportions, to verify throughout Jerusalem and all of Israel that Jesus was truly the Messiah, and that He rose from the dead. Peter, shown that it was time to step through this right time “gate” (horaios), reached down and jerked the man to his feet. All of Israel, knowing of this crippled man and of the astounding miracle that had taken place in the name of Jesus, was certain that Jesus was the Messiah, and had risen from the dead. America has come to a horaios time, the time for her salvation and healing. God has adjusted time, creating “the right time” for our miraculous recovery. Isaac is not yet born, but Sarah is in labor. I concluded my message Monday night with a quote from my friend Clay Nash’s father; Holy Spirit reminded me of it earlier that day. When Clay and his dad worked on difficult projects and finally reached the potential for success, his dad would sometimes say: “We’re not finished, but we can get there from here.” On Monday, I heard Holy Spirit say, not only regarding the shifting of the Supreme Court but also regarding the restoration of America, “We are not finished, but we can get there from here.” Keep praying, friend. And join us as we exalt the Lord through Communion over our nation tomorrow. Pray with me: Father, we are confident in Your wisdom and understanding. Your ways are always right. You never have to react to satan’s or man’s actions, hoping that You are making the right decisions. You have been planning and preparing for another great season of harvest around the world, and have been preparing Your people as instruments of this revival. We recognize the times and seasons, and can discern with our spiritual eyes that the harvest is ripe. As Your harvesters, we know we must be ready. Help us to do so, Holy Spirit. Sharpen our sickles. Fill our lamps. Fine-tune us to Your gifts and voice. Give us Your ideas and instructions on how to prepare. Awaken the watchmen to sound the alarm even more. Awaken Your leaders to the fact that we cannot conduct business as usual in this hour. We declare that America will participate in this harvest. We are being awakened, restored, and re-commissioned! Communion America is part of this, both a statement and a release. Our statement is that we overcome by the blood of the Lamb on the Mercy Seat of Heaven. And through our partaking of the Lord’s Table together, we are releasing the power of Your shed blood to give America a great reset and restoration. All of this we pray and declare in the name of Jesus. Amen. Our decree: We decree: it IS the right time for America’s restoration; and “we can get there from here.” **************************** You can learn more about this weekend’s communion gathering on the Washington Mall at Communion America.
