  1. https://www.givehim15.com/post/september-2-2025 September 2, 2025 It’s the Water, Not the Well My friend Clay Nash had a significant dream in May 2022. I feel it is even more significant now. The dream involved Clay, his dad (who is now in heaven), my brother, Tim, and me. The dream is about re-digging a well. Here is the dream: “On the morning of May 9, 2022, I dreamed that I was working with my dad drilling a well. My dad was running the drilling rig, and I was supplying the drilling sand. I looked up and there stood Tim and Dutch Sheets. “They saw the surprised look on my face and approached me. My dad continued to raise and drop the sand bucket. Dad was a master at this and had found the rhythm that produced more depth. The manual clutch, which he was working with his right hand, was being precisely triggered over and over. “As the Sheets brothers and I walked up to Dad, he switched the clutch lever to his left hand and stuck out his right hand to shake Tim’s and Dutch’s hands. He kept his left hand raising and lowering the sand bucket. “After a bit, Dad stopped drilling. The equipment was now silent, and I asked Dutch and Tim what they were doing here. Dutch said, ‘Before we get into that, I want you to know, Mr. Nash, that was one smooth operation of the drilling rig.’ “My Dad answered and said, ‘Please, call me Bob. Yes, that was the unforced rhythm of grace.’ “Tim asked, ‘How did you learn to do this?’ “Dad said, ‘My Dad and older brothers showed me.’ “I then spoke and said, ‘There must be something up for you two to travel all the way to Arkansas. What’s going on?’ “Tim spoke and said, ‘Dutch and I have an old well to re-dig and needed y’all’s insight on doing it.’ “Dad asked, ‘What well is this and when was it dug?’ “Dutch answered and said, ‘It was dug in the mid 1940s but became polluted and cluttered with stuff in the late 50s.’ “Tim spoke and said, ‘Our dad was involved with it.’ “Dad smiled and said, ‘So we got some legacy going here.’ Tim and Dutch both agreed strongly. Dad continued, ‘The first thing I need to tell you is that re-digging that old well is not the way to get this done.’ “Dutch asked, ‘What do you mean?’ “Dad said, ‘In the time you spend re-digging the old well, you can dig a new one. All that stopped the well from flowing is still there in the casing.’ “Tim stated, ‘But we need to tap into what the old well supplied.’ “Dad said, ‘Let Clay explain.’ “I began to tell Tim and Dutch, ‘It’s not about the well, the hole in the ground. The well is only the conduit to the source. You’re not looking for the well, but the source that the well supplied.’ “Dutch said, ‘That’s it, that’s it.’ “I instructed, ‘Digging in close proximity but still drilling into the original source will give you the same pure flow you are desiring.’ “Tim and Dutch agreed. Dad then told them, ‘The flow of this new well will be used in the saving of America.’ “We all agreed. Tim said to my Dad, ‘I want to be respectful, but at your age, you’re still able to do this like a young man. How old are you?’ “My Dad answered and said, ‘I am beyond years. I would have had a birthday today, May 7th, but I no longer celebrate it. Come over here with me.’ When we arrived at his pickup, he opened the ice chest, pulled out four grape drinks, and said, ‘Clay, grab those crackers; we must take communion together and agree for the saving of America.’ “The Sheets brothers both said, ‘We can get this done now!’ Tim then stated, ‘This new well will produce the unforced rhythm of grace that America needs.’ End of Dream. My Thoughts Here are a few thoughts regarding the dream: The well Tim and I wanted to re-dig was the healing movement of the 40s, 50s, and part of the 60s. Our dad was part of this movement. It is no doubt time for this flow to be released again, which is the purpose of the Healing Summits we have been conducting at Tim’s church in Ohio. The next one will occur on October 17. Try to join us either in person or online. The dream states that signs and wonders will be part of the revival that saves and restores America. One of the keys to digging the well, provided by Clay’s dad, was operating in “the unforced rhythm of grace.” This would mean that it cannot be done by striving and human effort, but by the grace and anointing of the Lord Himself. The next point of the dream really stood out to me. We were instructed not to attempt to clean all the debris out of the old well shaft in order to reuse it. This would be very difficult and take much longer. We were advised to simply move over a few feet and dig a brand new shaft down to the water. It is the same water that is needed and wanted, not the same well shaft. When we speak of “re-digging spiritual wells,” we are referring to reconnecting with the same Source, not trying to implement the same methods, structures, systems, etc. In the dream, Clay told us, “Digging in close proximity but still drilling into the original source will give you the same pure flow you are desiring.” It is the water we want, not the well! Then Clay‘s dad served us communion. This pictures two things to me. First, the entire dream speaks of generational synergy. Clay’s dad, who gave us insight into digging the well, is now in heaven. And Tim’s and my dad, who was part of the healing movement of the past, is also in heaven. We, today, are not generating something brand new in the Kingdom of God. We are part of an ongoing Kingdom endeavor, and are simply fulfilling our portion of the task. The efforts of previous generations cannot be completed without our work; we cannot complete our assignment without building on the work they did. The generations are interdependent. And all that is accomplished will be done through the power of Christ’s redemptive work. The new covenant established through His blood, is the key to all victory and success in the Kingdom of God. Therefore, before praying for the salvation of America, we honored the Lord’s sacrifice by taking communion, basing our actions on this. I believe this is why there has been such a significant emphasis on communion over the past couple of years. Some, such as Lou Engle and David Bradshaw, are referring to the coming revival as a “Communion Revival.” This is the purpose of the gathering on the Washington Mall, October 9-12. We will cry out for God’s mercy through the blood of Jesus, and the release of the Third Great Awakening in America. This will include and be aided by great signs and wonders. Pray with me: Father, You are without doubt orchestrating events in preparation for the Third Great Awakening in America, and a great revival throughout the entire earth. You “so loved” the world that You gave Jesus as a sacrifice to save it. We are grateful for Your love and mercy. We believe the time has come for this love and mercy to be released in a new measure. As millions partake of communion together on October 9-12, cause the power of Christ’s sacrifice to be released as a mighty river throughout the earth. Let this time create a shaft into the water table of Your Spirit, releasing the well of life that brings healing to the nations. We are not asking for old methods and programs; we are asking for the old water source, the old river, the old flow. Release it into the earth, we pray, in Jesus’ name. Amen.   2. https://www.givehim15.com/post/august-29-2025 August 29, 2025 Controlling the Narrative There’s a reason leftists and progressives want to control the narrative. Language shapes culture. Words influence thinking, thinking forms beliefs, beliefs create actions, and shape the culture. Pretty simple. Murder is bad; call it “abortion.” Riots are bad; call them “mostly peaceful” protests. Reverse racism is bad; call it “DEI - Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion”. Taking people’s hard-earned money is bad; call it “democratic socialism.” Defunding the police is bad (and stupid); call it “reallocating funds.” You get the point. Perhaps you’ve seen clips of 20 or 30 liberal newscasters all using the exact same language to describe events or policies. The talking points are obviously disseminated from party leaders and talking heads to ensure they are using the same language. This is to shape the thinking and culture of America. The goal of censorship is to control and shape the narrative, thereby influencing and controlling the culture. It’s all by design. Leftists and progressives know that what people believe to be true shapes and controls them, whether it is true or not. In other words, people are not controlled by truth – they’re controlled by what we believe to be true! The Scriptures confirm this. Consider the verse from Proverbs 23:7, which tells us that “as a person thinks within himself, so is he." Some translations say that as a person thinks in his “heart,” so is he. The Hebrew word is nephesh, the word for “soul” - the mind, emotions, and will. As your soul thinks, so are you.(1) There’s greater depth to this verse in Proverbs, however. The meaning of the Hebrew word translated “think” gives added insight into what Holy Spirit was saying regarding the soul’s operation. The word is shaar, which literally means “to split or open.”(2) It refers to “a place of access” or “an entranceway.” It is the word in Scripture for a doorkeeper or gatekeeper. This verse is referring not so much to the actual “thoughts” of one’s mind, but to what the mind has been opened up to that creates the thoughts. Whatever the door or gate of a person’s soul has been opened to, and what has gained access to their soul, will shape and control them, determining their decisions and actions. Snakes, Sweat Drops, and Blisters The following examples illustrate the profound impact of this on a person’s behavior. An article in Reader’s Digest said, “Gut feelings can occur without a person being consciously aware of them. For example, when people who fear snakes are shown a picture of a snake, sensors on their skin will detect sweat, a sign of anxiety, even though the people say they do not feel fear. The sweat shows up even when a picture is presented so rapidly that the subject has no conscious awareness of seeing it.”(3) Amazing. The door of the person’s soul had been opened to a fear of snakes. The subconscious mind picked up the image of the snake and responded with a measurable response of fear. Another example is found in the field of hypnosis (which I don’t believe is wise to participate in). It’s been proven that, under hypnosis, a person’s subconscious beliefs clearly trump reality. One hypnotist told his subject to hold out her hand, then announced that he was going to put a hot coal in it. Instead, he placed an ice cube there. Despite reality, she immediately flinched and dropped the ice cube... and a blister formed on her hand!(4) What?! How can that be? The subconscious mind believed the hypnotist’s words to be true. Therefore, it went to work, initiating the body’s process of dealing with a burn. It pulled the file that associated holding a hot coal with pain and, working on autopilot, sent impulses throughout the body that caused a blister. What’s believed in the mind doesn’t have to be true to control us; it merely has to be believed. Norman Vincent Peale recounts the following: “Once, walking through the twisted little streets of Kowloon in Hong Kong, I came upon a tattoo studio. In the window were displayed samples of the tattoos available. On the chest and arms, you could have tattooed an anchor, or flag, or mermaid, or whatever. But what struck me with force were three words that could be tattooed on one’s flesh: ‘Born to lose.’ “I entered the shop in astonishment and, pointing to those words, asked the artist, ‘Does anyone really have that terrible phrase tattooed on his body?’ “He replied, ‘Yes, sometimes.’ “‘But,’ I said, ‘I just can’t believe that anyone in his right mind would do that.’ “The Chinese man simply tapped his forehead and said, in broken English, ‘Before tattoo on body, tattoo on mind.’”(5) Educators in America have tattooed on the minds of a generation that there is no God. If there is no God or Creator, then there is no purpose, destiny, or design; all is by accident and happenstance. This allows one to believe their body is a mistake: they have the body of a male, when they’re actually a female trapped in the wrong body. Or vice versa. The answer? Go to work changing it: take pills to kill the male parts. Better yet, cut them off. We have tattooed onto their minds that fulfillment can be found in drugs, alcohol, and other temporal pleasures. That marriage doesn’t have to be between a man and woman; all that matters is love. That marriage isn’t really necessary at all; just live together until the excitement ends, then find another mate. That children are a nuisance, an inconvenience, and unnecessary interruptions in one’s career. That sin and Satan are fun, while God and righteousness are boring. That absolute truth doesn’t exist; all is relative and to be determined by ever-changing standards. And many more lies. A godless culture is a hopeless culture, a mooring-less and anchor-less society blown about by human philosophies and ideas, everyone doing what is right in their own eyes (Judges 17:6, 21:25). Revival will change this, removing the tattoos. Reformation will preserve the change. God’s power is strong enough to transform the minds and hearts of a generation. He will enter the gates of their minds, remove deception, and invade their souls with His truth. He will write new laws in their hearts and minds, His laws. And He will capture them with His perfect love and passionate heart. Sixty years of deviant planning and hard work by satan’s kingdom will be overthrown through one powerful revival. Pray with me: Father, we humans get things all messed up when we try to live life without You. We call good evil and evil good. Eventually, we abandon even common sense and embrace insanity. You rightly referenced those who say You don’t exist as fools. Here in America, we removed You from our education system, filling our textbooks and lectures with hell, destruction, hopelessness, and purposeless living. Please forgive us for this heinous evil. Come now and heal our land. Begin with the young generation of Americans, doing what You promised: send the greatest awakening in history and begin with the youth. They are hungry, they are searching, and You are the answer. Demolish the arguments of humanism, secularism, and atheism. Open the eyes of this generation to the reality of who You are and who You have created them to be. Deliver them from demons, deception, confusion, and spiritual darkness. Let the power of Your love overwhelm them! All of this we ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.   3. https://www.givehim15.com/post/august-28-2027 August 28, 2025 When God Is Removed, Evil Fills the Void The 1960s marked the beginning of a downward spiral in America that has continued to this day. The use of drugs, the sexual revolution, and the break-up of the American family can be traced back to then. Sixty-plus years of moral and spiritual devolution have been devastating. Many have pointed out the correlation between this downward spiral and the removal of God from America’s classrooms. Prayer in schools was not always a controversial topic. In fact, public schools had prayer for nearly 200 years before the Supreme Court ruled that state-mandated class prayers were unconstitutional in the landmark case of Engel vs Vitale in June 1962. “When the families of New Hyde Park, New York, complained that the voluntary prayer in schools went against their religious beliefs, the prayer in question went as follows: ‘Almighty God, we acknowledge our dependence upon thee, and we beg thy blessings on our parents, our teachers, and our country. Amen.’ “Since the court outlawed prayer, the nation has been in steady moral decline. Former Secretary of Education, William Bennet, revealed in his cultural indexes that between 1960 and 1990 divorce doubled, teenage pregnancy went up 200 percent, teen suicide increased 300 percent, violent crime went up 500 percent, and he maintains that there is a strong correlation between the expulsion of prayer from our schools and decline in morality.”(1) The moral decline in our nation over this span of time has never stopped and is shocking. One of the manifestations is, of course, violence. Yesterday, a 23-year-old young man opened fire on students attending their first Mass of the school year at Annunciation Catholic School in south Minneapolis, MN. At the time of this writing, 2 children were killed and 17 people were injured (14 of whom were children). The shooter was identified as Robert/Robin Westman. Robert, identifying as a trans woman, legally changed his name to Robin Westman in 2020. Westman died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the scene. The FBI is investigating this shooting as an act of domestic terrorism and hate crime targeting Catholics. Only two years prior, leaders of non-public and religious schools in Minnesota had asked Governor Tim Walz for help in securing their schools. Tragically, the funding was never authorized. In the same month as this request, April 2023, Gov. Walz signed legislation establishing MN as a “trans refuge” promising to “protect those seeking gender-affirming care,” according to OutFront MN.(2) One has to wonder what the drugs being given to these dear children may be doing to their minds. Our hearts break for the parents, teachers, and children of Annunciation Catholic School who were affected by this horrible attack. We especially pray for the families who lost loved ones. May God’s grace and peace be with them. President Trump ordered American flags on military posts and government buildings throughout the U.S. to be flown at half-staff until sunset on Sunday. Our friend Cheryl Sacks pointed out in the GH15 post on August 20, the spiritual attacks taking place against our children: “An invisible war is raging for the hearts and minds of the next generation. Just last week, I read about a murder plot devised by fifth-graders (two boys and two girls) to take the life of an autistic boy. One student was to bring the knife, another to fake a suicide note, and one to serve as a scout while the stabbing took place. The autistic boy thought these were his friends.(3) “When God is removed, the devil fills the void. Good is evil. Evil is good. Lord, have mercy! “What’s happening in our schools is alarming. Once beacons of academic learning, places of safety, friendship, and good citizenship, they are anything but that today.”(4) I encourage you to revisit Cheryl’s post from last week, where she provides detailed suggestions on how we can pray for our children. As I have stated many times, only a powerful spiritual revival can reverse the current state of our nation. Thankfully, this has begun. A mighty revival is coming to America, beginning with the young. There are documented instances of revival breaking out among our youth, both here in America and in the UK. We must pray fervently that what has begun will intensify. During this time, the words of Nehemiah (4:14) are appropriate: “When I saw their fear, I stood and said to the nobles, the officials, and the rest of the people: ‘Do not be afraid of them; remember the Lord who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses.’” Pray with me: Father, our hearts grieve over the senseless loss of lives in Minnesota. We ask You to bring comfort and strength to the families involved. Nothing can remove from them the present grief of their loss, and the trauma to the children that survived will be tremendous. But You are the Healer and the Comforter, and we ask You to do what only You can do. Comfort them. And we pray once again for a mighty revival that will transform our nation. Let it be strong enough to undo six decades of damage to the soul and psyche of our nation. Forgive us for allowing You to be removed from our schools. Free our children from the resulting confusion, addictions, violence, lack of identity, and purpose. Introduce them to Your glorious Son and their wonderful Savior. Make them strong in character. Use them to reform our nation and carry Your light to the nations of the world. Help us remain faithful during this time of transition in our nation. Keep the intercessors motivated so that we may finish well. Don’t allow complacency to enter at this critical time. All of this we ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.   4. https://www.givehim15.com/post/august-27-2025 August 27, 2025 I’m glad to be back in the saddle writing the post for today. I hope you enjoyed hearing from some of our friends. Ceci is recovering nicely from last week’s hip replacement surgery. It’s a slow process, but she looks forward to being on the other side of it. The title of today’s post is: The Snare of Denial According to the dictionary, denial is “An unconscious defense mechanism used to reduce anxiety by denying thoughts, feelings, or facts that are consciously intolerable.”(1) This can be very detrimental to a person’s well-being. However, I contend that there is good denial and bad denial. For example, a desert nomad awakened from hunger one night and decided he’d have a midnight snack. Lighting a candle, he grabbed a date and took a bite. Holding the date to the candle, he saw a worm, whereupon he threw the date out of the tent. Biting into the second date, he found another worm and threw it away, also. Then, the nomad paused to consider the situation. Deciding he might not get anything to eat if this continued, he blew out the candle and ate the dates.(2) That’s good denial. Just pretend there are no worms and eat the dates. The fear is all in your head, anyway - eating worms won’t hurt you. I learned that from watching the History Channel show “Alone.” Then there is the story of a stubborn, never-say-die general who was taken captive and thrown into a deep, wide pit along with a number of his soldiers. In that pit was a huge pile of horse manure. “Follow me,” the general cried to his men as he dove into the pile. “There has to be a horse here somewhere!”(3) That’s bad denial. Granted, it’s good determination, unshakable optimism, and noble leadership - he went first. But it’s still bad denial. Excuse my grammar but…there ain’t no horse in the manure!!! Just because you want something to be true doesn’t make it so. In a case like this, it’s far better to “dive” into the truth. A lot of people in America have a case of bad denial, this “unconscious defense mechanism used to reduce anxiety by denying thoughts, feelings, or facts that are consciously intolerable.” I appreciate wanting to help gender confused individuals, but denial and multiple labels aren’t the answer. Certainly, castration and mutilation are not the answers. God said He made us male and female (Genesis 1:27), and that settles it. Common sense confirms it, and science even proves it - X and Y chromosomes. We must absolutely love the confused and help them deal with their pain, but not through denial. Then there is marriage. People are supposed to marry the opposite sex, not the same sex. God took a woman, not another man, from Adam’s side, and she became his wife (Genesis 2:21-24). To believe otherwise is unhealthy denial. Some politicians and educators are in denial about this, as is the Supreme Court. I certainly don’t hate those who have chosen to believe and live contrary to what the Scriptures say regarding this. To the contrary, I love them as fellow humans and citizens, and do not want them mistreated in any way. But I cannot compromise the Scriptures. And men can’t have babies!!! Talk about denial. Play word games all you want, buy fake breasts and pretend to nurse a baby, but at the end of the day, there is no baby in the “men can have babies” pile. No amount of denial and pretend games will change this fact. Gender issues are by no means the only areas of bad denial in America. Denial is everywhere. Some in the church practice denial: “Portions of the Bible do not apply to me. God just wants me to be happy.” Some in the education field engage in denial: “DEI is more important than reading, writing, and arithmetic.” And some in the media are actually specialists in denial: “Truth doesn’t matter; reporting what we want people to believe is far more important.” And then there is government. Some politicians in Washington, D.C. would rather have criminals controlling the city than have Trump remove them. It’s not that they like the crime and violence; they just don’t want Trump to get credit for fixing the problems. And they don’t want his help. In fact, many would rather have rampant crime than accept help from President Trump. So, they practice denial: “We don’t have a crime problem here!” Government is overpopulated with “ostrich politicians” - head in the sand, blind to reality. In Chicago, Mayor Johnson, with his 6% approval rating and his city being the murder capital of the nation for 13 straight years, recoiled at Trump‘s offer to help clean up Chicago. Johnson called it “Tyranny!” Proverbs 26:11 comes to mind: “Like a dog that returns to its vomit, is a fool who repeats his folly.” And we cannot forget the denial of gerrymandering. “We despise your gerrymandering,” say the kings of gerrymandering to the Republicans. “You are destroying democracy with your corruption. We don’t engage in this evil; we simply redistrict.” And who can forget those on the left who are so upset about the investigations of liars, leakers, corrupt judges, “lawfare” prosecutors, dishonest and disgraceful members of Congress, a shadow government in the White House running our nation during Biden’s tenure, and other criminals in government. “These investigations are only revenge,” they shout, as the DOJ, DNI, and FBI turn over more and more documents. They’re in denial, refusing to believe that their previous shouts of, “No one is above the law!” are drowning out their current accusations and confirming their hypocrisy. With eyes closed, they just continue diving into the Trump Derangement Syndrome pile. Jesus gave the anecdote to denial in John 8:32: “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Consistent with this, Proverbs 10:17 tells us, “If you readily receive correction, you are walking on the path to life. But if you reject rebuke, you’re guaranteed to go astray” (TPT‬‬). And Proverbs 13:18 instructs us, “Poverty and disgrace come to the one who refuses to hear criticism. But the one who is easy to correct is on the path of honor” (TPT‬‬). “The path to life” and “the path of honor” are available to all. According to God’s instructions to Israel, life can be chosen (Deuteronomy 30:19). Let’s pray that more and more people in our nation accept the truth and choose life. Pray with me: Father, we humans are “prone to wonder,” as the hymn writer said (Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing).(4) We sometimes prefer the darkness of denial to the light of truth. Remind us that we do not have to stumble upon the truth; Holy Spirit has been sent to lead us into all truth (John 16:13). We can choose to follow Him, honor Your Word, and thereby choose freedom and the path of life. We pray for those who have chosen to turn away from Your words of life and path of freedom. Bring them to their senses as You did the prodigal in Scripture. Break the deception off them. We ask that You remove the veil of darkness that blinds them to the light of the gospel (2 Corinthians 4:4). Remove the influence of those leading people into deception. Jesus described it as “the blind leading the blind” (Matthew 15:14). Continue to awaken the American people. Expose deception and corruption in government and media. Expose these things in education and entertainment. We declare along with the old but timeless song, “[Your] truth is marching on.” Awaken America to Your truth once again. Make it strong and loud. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. I’ll be back in the saddle, writing the posts myself, starting tomorrow. Today’s encouraging post is from Timmerle Kelly, Executive Director of the Reformation Prayer Network. Timmerle reminds us of the tremendous victories our prayers have generated, and exhorts us to persevere in seeing America reformed. Her title is: Reformation Rising Some of us have been praying for our nation for a very long time, longing to see shifts that seemed not to materialize. Many had to regularly guard against the heart sickness caused by hope deferred, mentioned in the first half of Proverbs 13:12. We longed to reach the second half of the verse, which says, “But a dream fulfilled is a tree of life.” As this year began, something changed. Prophetic words shifted. Victory began to manifest from the years of faithful prayers. Many began asking, “Could this be the year where the synergy of our prayers manifests in earthly fulfillment?” A new government was seated in January 2025, and we began to watch as prayers that had been prayed for 30 years or more began being answered. In some cases, we could not have imagined how completely and quickly this would occur. We had elected a president, but God had chosen a man who would form a government He could work through. Many believers–some appointed by Trump, others elected–are now in high-level positions, such as Speaker of the House Mike Johnson and the Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee. But even those who are not Christians are clearly in place to carry out God’s plans for the nation. Jeremiah 1:10 is our new reality, “See, I have set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant” (NKJV). We now join our prayers to the victories we have seen materialize. And the more we see, the more we long to see. Here are just a few of the astonishing victories we have seen in just the first half of this year: One of the longest prayer battles we have fought has been the battle for life, which has raged since the Supreme Court’s decision on Roe v. Wade in 1973. This ruling was overturned by SCOTUS on June 24, 2022, which sent the battle back to the states. More needs to happen to stop abortion in America, but good things are happening. A few days after his inauguration, President Trump re-enacted the Hyde Amendment. His Executive Order states, “It is the policy of the United States, consistent with the Hyde Amendment, to end the forced use of federal taxpayer dollars to fund or promote elective abortion.”(1) Adding to this victory was the passing of “The One Big Beautiful Bill.” It included a provision prohibiting Medicaid reimbursements to health clinics that provide abortions. This is being contested in the courts, but funding is being withheld until the case is decided. In California alone, the loss to abortionists is considered to be $300 million.(2) Over 100 abortion-providing clinics have closed or are closing across the nation thus far – including at least 41 Planned Parenthoods.(3) In fact, the largest Planned Parenthood facility in the nation, in Houston, TX, recently announced its closing due to a lack of funding.(4) We have much work to do, but we celebrate these victories! Religious persecution of Christians and Jews has been another issue in which we are seeing positive change. We have seen Christians “de-platformed” from social media, and “de-banked” by major financial institutions for public statements of faith and political comments regarding biblical values. In February, President Trump launched a task force to “eradicate anti-Christian bias.” He additionally stated, “The law protects the freedom of Americans and groups of Americans to practice their faith in peace, and my Administration will enforce the law and protect these freedoms.”(5) While watching a serious erosion of family values in America, we have consistently and fervently prayed Malachi 4:6, “He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with a curse” (KJV). Still, we watched as attacks against family values escalated in recent years. This moved from *** rights to *** marriage, then to gender identity confusion therapies, resulting in the mutilation of children’s bodies and the threat of the loss of parental rights.(6) But in answer to prayer, President Trump has signed numerous executive orders to protect children, including one on January 28th that reads, “Across the country today, medical professionals are maiming and sterilizing a growing number of impressionable children under the radical and false claim that adults can change a child’s sex through a series of irreversible medical interventions. This dangerous trend will be a stain on our Nation’s history, and it must end.”(7) And the President is working to stop this evil. On another front, in February, the president banned biological men from competing in women’s sports. The next day, in order to prevent the retraction of federal funds, the NCAA (the largest governing body for college sports) aligned its participation policy with the executive order. NCAA President Charlie Baker said, “To that end, President Trump’s order provides a clear, national standard.”(8) In July, the U.S. Olympic Committee banned trans athletes from competing in women’s sports.(9) Thank you, President Trump, for making a righteous stand. Although it seems ridiculous, we do need legislation to support these changes, or a future president could reverse them. We must continue to pray that ruling bodies stand firm for common sense and righteousness. There is so much more for which to be thankful. We could talk about the “cleaning up” of government initiated by the DOGE team, immigration and the closing of the border, changes in the leadership of our judicial and intelligence divisions, and the ongoing exposure of past political espionage. We could examine how all three branches of government are finally beginning to work together, and how other nations are being affected by our nation’s changes, including the ending of six wars around the world. We are truly in the midst of a national and international reformation. See it, believe it, agree with it, shake off any complacency or doubt, and press on in prayer and intercession. Pray with me: Father, we thank You, for You are truly moving in our nation! We see the signs of revival and reformation! We rejoice in these breakthroughs that are rolling unrighteousness off America. We will persevere in our intercession, connecting heaven and earth in a synergistic momentum that can’t be stopped by anything hell can throw at it. We thank You for the closing of abortion clinics and the losses suffered by this evil industry. As we heard clearly last Friday, we have a long way to go before this heinous activity is eradicated in America. We pray that You would give strategy to those working in this arena, both on the legislative side and on the front lines. And awaken the conscience of our nation. Also today, Lord, we pray for the many children who are in the foster care system of America. Our hearts break over this. Please move on the hearts of Americans to help these children in need. Place them in loving homes where they can be cared for and learn about You. We also pray for the children who have been trapped in gender confusion. We pray that You would bring about significant breakthroughs in this area, saving children and transforming their lives, as only You can do. All of these things we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen. Kelsey’s title is “Advancing the Culture of Life.” Here’s Kelsey. Advancing the Culture of Life My name is Kelsey Bohender. I’m the executive director of Zoe’s House Adoption Agency in Kansas City. I am honored to bring you today’s Give Him 15. Today, I bring you an update on abortion since Roe v. Wade was overturned—and a call to action for the body of Christ. When the Dobbs decision returned abortion policy to the states, we rejoiced. Roe v. Wade was dead. We knew some states would cling to abortion, but we hoped others would drive numbers down. Yet three years later, abortions haven’t decreased—they’ve shifted. Our strategy for life must follow. Informed intercession is critical. When our prayers align with action, they become “the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen” brought into reality. My husband, Randy, and I launched Zoe’s House ten years ago as part of our response to the culture of death that had taken root in the forty years following Roe v. Wade. As an adoptive family, we believed we could champion life by raising awareness and helping other families adopt. Our vision was also to treat expectant mothers with dignity and the love of Jesus. We saw adoption as a prophetic witness to the day Roe would fall – and it still is. Adoption remains a powerful answer to abortion, a living testimony that life is always the better way. While adoption stands as light in the darkness, the landscape has changed. The Guttmacher Institute estimates 1,038,000 abortions in 2024 – the highest in recent years. Though twelve states enacted total bans after Roe’s reversal, national abortion rates have actually increased. How? The truth is, abortion hasn’t ended; it’s shifted to regional hubs, drawing women from states where it’s restricted. In Kansas, which chose to protect the “right” to abort, nearly 16,000 out-of-state residents came to the Sunflower State for an abortion last year. North Carolina and New Mexico saw similar trends; Illinois nearly doubled that, performing over 35,000 abortions for women from other states. Roe may be gone, but abortion has concentrated into epicenters – bigger clinics, busier schedules, and a steady stream of women traveling in. Meanwhile, medication abortions are surging through telehealth and online pill orders. With both travel and medication abortions rising, the battlefield has changed – and when it changes, so must our strategy. This is why strategic intercession and targeted action matter more than ever. Intercessors speak the language of battle, so hear this: a “beachhead” is a foothold wrested from enemy hands, a place where the tide begins to turn. It is not the war’s end, but it is sacred ground, claimed and held, from which the next great advance will rise. Stand firm. Strengthen the lines. From here, light breaks through. As Isaiah 58 promises, “If you spend yourselves on behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.” This is the promise for God’s people who stand for the vulnerable – light in dark places, victory on contested ground. For the pro-life movement, adoption has always been a crucial beachhead — a strategic foothold where conviction becomes undeniable action. Adoption doesn’t end abortion, but it ignites a movement to defend the value of a child, protect the sanctity of a mother, and celebrate the beauty of a family. Zoe’s House is one such beachhead. From the ground gained over the past ten years, we have been able to launch in multiple directions, advancing the cause of life. Families who open their hearts to babies and children through the spirit of adoption also become a beachhead on the pro-life front. Like Isaiah’s parents, they said yes to this precious, non-verbal, autistic 2-year-old boy with no hesitation when his birthmother decided that she wanted a family for him who could care for his needs. Isaiah spoke his first words as he became a part of their family, and his birthmom receives regular updates in this open adoption. It’s a beautiful story. The courage and compassion of this family give them equity in the fight for life. In the Church, Isaiah and his birthmom are not statistics; each life is sacred with a future worth fighting for. We should never be content with merely saving a heartbeat, but invest in the futures of these children and in the dignity of their mothers. Ground is not held simply by caring for children. In the pro-life movement, holding ground means valuing the futures of both child and mother. Some women, when they choose life instead of abortion, do so out of deep love for their child and a desire for a better future. Others may not yet have that vision for their child—but they still need to know that their own life is worth investing in. The Church must see both. This means asking hope-filled questions: “What could your life look like five years from now? What would it take to get there?” It means walking alongside her with real help – healthcare, job training, education, safe housing – so that her life, too, can flourish. This is where conviction becomes action, where life advocacy becomes life provision. When the Church champions both the child and the mother, it stands firm against the tide of cultural opposition, holding ground so that hopelessness cannot sweep them away. And from this foothold, we move forward – not only to prevent death, but to provide life in all its fullness. The pro-life mission continues long after a child’s first cry. If adoption of babies is a beachhead in the fight for life, then stepping into foster care is advancing that line. Across our nation, thousands of children in foster care are waiting not just for shelter, but for stability, belonging, and love. Over 36,000 of these children are legally free for adoption right now. Many have been moved from place to place, carrying their lives in a trash bag, wondering if anyone sees them. Stepping into adoption from foster care means claiming new territory where the enemy has sown abandonment, neglect, and despair, and replacing it with safety, healing, and hope. Every home opened, every heart willing to mentor, every church that wraps around foster families - these are forward movements in the campaign for life. We have the opportunity to expand the foothold we’ve gained, not only defending the unborn but also in defending the born who are still waiting for a permanent seat at a family table. When the Church steps into foster care, the mission of life becomes complete. We move from simply saving lives to transforming them. The battle for life is fought wherever children are protected, mothers are cherished, and families are made whole. From the womb to the foster home, from the prayer closet to the frontlines, this is the campaign for life. We’ve prayed for abortion to end, for children to be safe, for families restored, and Jesus is raising up churches to be the answer. Not everyone can adopt, but every believer can serve; be a surrogate aunt or uncle, driver, babysitter, or cook, wrapping around families so they thrive. Informed prayer strikes with precision, and tangible steps bring those prayers to life. As Isaiah 58 reminds us, when we champion the vulnerable and fatherless, His light breaks through, healing quickly appears, and the glory of the Lord will be our rear guard. Darkness cannot stand. We are not bystanders in this story – we are the ones who plant the flag of hope, hold the ground, and press the advance until every child thrives, every mother flourishes, and every family is whole. I have asked some trusted friends to write the posts for these few days, individuals who have done so in the past. Today’s post from Larry Sparks is OUTSTANDING. Larry is a bestselling author, the publisher of Destiny Image, and an anointed revivalist. He is confirming that revival has begun, and we should claim it for our family and city. His title is: “Claim the Rain.” Here’s Larry. _________________________________________________________ Claim the Rain There is an end-time alarm clock going off in the spirit right now. When you hear or see the Holy Spirit moving somewhere, that is your prophetic invitation to claim the rain of revival for yourself. End-Times Context and Promise Zechariah 10:1 provides a striking prophetic instruction: “Ask for rain in the time of rain.” This Scripture gives us a model for how to respond when we see or hear reports of revival. Sadly, many believers have been conditioned to associate end-times language with doom and disaster—especially the warnings Jesus outlines in Matthew 24. But recently, while helping a community navigate end-times concerns, the Lord dropped a phrase into my spirit that recalibrated everything: “Matthew 24 is the context. Joel 2 is the promise. Claim the promise. Claim the rain.” Yes, Matthew 24 describes the shaking—wars and rumors of war, earthquakes, famines, deception. But Jesus didn’t invite us to claim those events; He was giving us context for the age in which we’d be sent. Joel 2, however—later quoted by Peter on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2—is the divine promise for that very hour: “In the last days, I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and daughters shall prophesy…” (Acts 2:17) This is what we’re called to claim—an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on all people, especially the sons and daughters who are part of God’s prophetic end-time agenda. And in this present moment, I’ve never been more convinced that we’re beginning to see that promise unfold. Lightning Struck in Dublin, Ireland… Everything shifted for me personally at a church in Dublin, Ireland, in May of 2024. The church met—of all places—in a boxing ring. I was ministering alongside my dear friend, Tommy Evans, in a spiritually charged atmosphere. There was energetic worship, hopefully solid preaching, and then an unexpected call to respond. We felt prompted to invite all those 30 years and younger to come forward. They began to gather on the platform. What happened next can only be described as a divine interruption. The lightning of God struck. As we began to pray, some fell under the power of God. Others crumpled to their knees in tears. Many lay prostrate on the boxing ring floor, overcome by the weighty presence of the Holy Spirit. All across the auditorium, families prayed together, embraced one another, and turned their seats into sacred altars of encounter. From that moment on, we’ve seen an intensification of Holy Spirit activity—across generations, across nations. And here’s what’s so encouraging: the most explosive outpourings are happening in places many have written off as too hard, too dark, or too secular—nations and territories labeled as spiritual graveyards. Evidently, the Holy Spirit did not receive that memo. If you go into a territory with the Gospel and the Glory—the bold proclamation of truth coupled with the tangible demonstration of God’s power—no stronghold can stand. No region is unreachable. So when people ask me, “Larry, where are the revival hotspots?” I can now say confidently: Southern California. The Pacific Northwest. New England. Ireland. The United Kingdom. These are places I minister regularly, and we are witnessing an overwhelming spiritual hunger rising alongside unmistakable outpourings of the Holy Spirit. And this is not just anecdotal. Look at the data—begin with what’s happening in the United Kingdom. The “new atheism” movement failed to deliver purpose to a generation, and now, we are seeing young people turning to the church in record numbers. Revival is real—and it’s measurable. Showers and Storms So what exactly is happening? Jennie Allen—bestselling author and founder of the IF: Gathering—has been at the forefront of a university campus awakening movement called UNITE US, alongside Jonathan Pokluda and Tonya Prewett. Recently, she had a conversation with Pastor Greg Laurie, who hosted a massive evangelistic crusade in Southern California where approximately 45,000 people attended and around 6,500 made professions of faith in Christ. Laurie’s insights struck me. As Jennie recounted what the Lord was doing, Laurie—himself a leader in the Jesus People Movement—said it sounded just like that historic revival. He described a pattern: First, there are scattered rain showers. People hear of revival breaking out here and there, at this place and that place. Then, it simply starts to rain. Moves of God start erupting everywhere. But his last statement is what caused my heart to burn. Then… it starts to storm. Laurie was not speaking of some kind of storm of destruction, but a storm of revival outpouring where the move of God becomes an unstoppable territorial awakening that ushers multitudes into the Kingdom of God and produces cultural transformation. I believe we are entering that final stage. The showers are turning to storms. And not storms of destruction, but storms of divine visitation. Watchmen of Revival As I continue to travel, I’ve made it my mission to be a watchman of revival. And I want to encourage you to do the same. Now, when we hear the term “watchman,” we often think of someone looking out for threats—demons, darkness, and deception. And yes, we must be alert and discerning. But I believe the Lord is raising up a different kind of watchman in this hour: Watchmen who are God-preoccupied, not devil-obsessed. Watchmen who are alert to what the Spirit is doing, not just what the enemy is scheming. These are men and women who have set their hearts to seek and recognize the movement of God wherever it manifests. Right now, I pray that kind of anointing over you. May you be like Elijah in 1 Kings 18:44, who, in the midst of a long drought, celebrated the small cloud “the size of a man’s hand” as if it were already a downpour. Celebrate the cloud. Claim the rain. Celebrate the little signs of breakthrough in your life—the smallest shift in your marriage, the prodigal child asking a provoking spiritual question, a glimmer of healing in your body. In a microwave, fast-food culture, we’re trained to expect instant, massive results. But heaven celebrates the seed as much as the harvest. It’s Time to Claim the Rain The rain is falling. We’re not waiting for God to move—He already is. So the question is: Will you claim it? When you hear about revival in California, New England, Ireland, or across your social media feed, don’t just cheer it on—lay hold of it in faith. If it’s raining anywhere, it can rain everywhere. Because Joel 2 wasn’t just a local promise—it was a global one. The last days’ outpouring is not reserved for special people in special places. It’s for all flesh. It’s for your family. It’s for your city. It’s for your church. So lift your eyes. Bend your ear. Tune your heart. The Holy Spirit is moving. He’s pouring out His Spirit. Ask for rain in the time of rain. And don’t just ask—claim it.   8. https://www.givehim15.com/post/august-19-2025 August 19, 2025 Picture the Promise Trump’s Meeting with European Leaders I have an encouraging and insightful teaching from my brother, Tim, for today’s post. However, first I feel I must address the meeting that occurred yesterday with President Trump, President Zelenskyy of Ukraine, and other major leaders in Europe. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 1 million people have been killed in the Russia/Ukraine war over the last three years. These are staggering numbers. Also, it is estimated that upwards of 20,000 children have been kidnapped and taken to Russia in order to reeducate and indoctrinate them. Putin is a very cruel and evil man. After yesterday’s meeting, there seemed to be guarded optimism that a peace deal is possible. President Trump called Putin after discussing security guarantees for Ukraine with the European leaders. “I called President Putin, and began the arrangements for a meeting, at a location to be determined, between President Putin and President Zelenskyy,” the President wrote on Truth Social. “After that meeting takes place, we will have a Trilat, which would be the two Presidents, plus myself,” Trump said, calling it a positive “early step for a war that has been going on for almost four years.” Trump placed the call to Putin after the discussions at the White House with the European leaders, “which ended in a further meeting in the Oval Office. During the meeting we discussed Security Guarantees for Ukraine, which guarantees would be provided by the various European Countries, with a coordination with the United States of America,” Trump wrote. We must continue to pray fervently for these ongoing talks, asking God to bring a peaceful end to this horrible war. ********** Tim’s Message In Ephesians 1:18 (NKJV), Paul prays that the eyes of our understanding would be enlightened. “Enlightened” comes from the Greek word photizō, meaning to light up or give light, thus to enlighten.(1) You can see the similarity to our English word “photo,” and both words do indeed originate from the same root word, phos, meaning light. It’s easy to see the connectedness of these terms: photos are produced by literal light entering through a camera’s shutter, burning an image onto a negative; enlightenment occurs as figurative light enters the mind, bringing understanding. To assist us in our faith, Holy Spirit will sometimes inspire a “photo” or picture in our hearts and minds. These images serve as faith reminders and igniters that help us declare and confess God’s promises; they give focus to our faith. They allow us to “see” and meditate on God’s promises. Faith is a function of the spirit, but the mind must also be renewed and brought into agreement with His Word. The two must be in harmony. If not, the mind will hinder the process; we can’t be picturing the opposite of what our faith is believing for. Thus, Holy Spirit will often prompt an image to serve as a spiritual photograph, helping us in this process. In Joshua 6, we see a powerful example of the Lord inspiring a picture of a promise fulfilled. Forty years after leaving Egypt, Israel was finally on the verge of stepping into their promised inheritance. Their journey had required an enduring faith. Now, standing before them was Jericho, the first city they would encounter after crossing the Jordan River. It could not be avoided, but had to be taken. Jericho, however, was no ordinary city. As one of the most fortified strongholds of its time, its walls stood 54 feet high and 24 feet thick, broad enough for two chariots to ride side by side on the tops. Its defenders were seasoned warriors, men of valor. Joshua, having spied out the land years before, knew firsthand just how formidable Jericho was. Now he stood on a hillside, looking down on the city, seeking direction from the Lord and wondering how such an impenetrable place could be conquered. At that moment, the Lord appeared to Joshua dressed as a warrior, with a drawn sword. Joshua asked, “Are you for us or for our enemies?” The Lord didn’t answer the question directly. Instead, He gave a declaration. Joshua 6:1–2 (NKJV) tells us: “Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in. And the Lord said to Joshua, ‘See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor.” God didn’t say, “Look at Jericho.” He said, “See, I have given it into your hand.” That’s a key difference. God didn’t want Joshua to focus on the natural circumstances. He was calling him to see with the eyes of faith. The Hebrew word for “see” is raah, which means to see, both literally and figuratively–to perceive, to envision, to gaze upon in the mind, even to dream.(2) God was telling Joshua: “Picture Jericho already in your hands. Envision it as done. See it as conquered.” The word “hand” is also significant. In Hebrew, it is yad, which can also be figurative, used for holding power and authority.(3) God was saying, “See Jericho already under your power and authority.” Regarding this verse, in the footnotes of The Passion Translation, it says: “Faith will see ‘what is still unseen’ (Hebrews 11:1). God gave Joshua a promise upon which to rest his faith.” This was not about natural sight; it was about supernatural vision, a photo, if you will. Joshua was told to see the promise as fulfilled before it physically happened. Picture the walls down, the enemy scattered, and the victory won! As he aligned his vision with God’s promise, his faith was assisted and activated. This is a tremendously helpful principle for us: See the promise fulfilled! God often gives us a picture, not in the natural but in our spirit, that becomes a photograph of the promise. Romans 4:17 (AMP) says that God “calls into being that which does not exist.” In other words, He speaks about things that don’t yet exist in the natural realm as if they already do, knowing His words have the power to bring them into reality. This is the essence of faith. Hebrews 11:1 tells us faith is the substance of things we hope for, the evidence of things not yet seen in the natural realm. Some translations of this verse refer to faith as the title deed, the proof of ownership before the promise is visible naturally. Even when nothing appears to have changed in the natural, faith gives substance to what we hope for. It allows us to speak and act as though the promise already belongs to us. How can we talk about things that don’t yet exist? How do we describe what we haven’t seen? By seeing with spiritual eyes that have been renewed and trained by the Word of God, picturing what our faith is producing. See your faith working. Envision the promise fulfilled. Picture yourself walking in healing, freedom, provision, and victory. Meditate on it. Daydream about it. Gaze upon it in your heart until it becomes more real to you than what your natural eyes see. Align your heart, mind, and mouth with God’s Word. Agree with His truth. When you see the promise clearly, you can decree it boldly, and your faith is positioned to grow and produce. Take a spiritual snapshot of your breakthrough, your healing, your deliverance, your answered prayer, and keep it before your eyes, your faith photo. Let that become a photo that encourages your faith. ********** Pray with me: Lord, help us see a picture of the promise fulfilled within us, sparking faith. Give us divine photographs, enlightened visions of inheritance, healing, provision, and power. Let us “see” healing and provision flowing. Let us “see” victory and breakthrough, our Jerichos falling before us. We will see it, and we will say it. Cause our faith to rise above all opposition, enabling us to thrive in the realm of the unseen. Teach us, Holy Spirit, to picture the change, declare the promise, and walk in the power of Your anointing. And Father, we continue to ask You to take action from heaven regarding the war in Ukraine. The toll in human lives has been unimaginable. Give NATO leaders and President Zelenskyy wisdom to know how to deal with Putin. Show them where to be firm and unyielding, and where to yield. Keep them united. And do something to move Putin. His heart is hard and wicked, but overrule him. Cause him to back off. Then, remove this evil man from rule. And we ask Your help in freeing the 20,000 kidnapped children. In Jesus’ name, amen. Our decree: We declare that our faith is activated, and we can see our promise fulfilled.   9. https://www.givehim15.com/post/august-18-2025 August 18, 2025 Rowing Together: Healing the Nations “But it is not this way among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant; and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:43-45, NASB, 1995) Doulos and Latris There are several New Testament words for “servant” or “minister,” each with different nuances of meaning. I will mention five of them today. I have found in my studies that these five form an interesting and important progression. The first two are doulos and latris. A doulos was a bond-slave, owned by another.(1) Paul often referred to himself as a bond-slave or bond-servant of Jesus Christ (Romans 1:1, etc.). Yes, God owns us. This is true by the right of creation, but also because we are bought with a price by the blood of Jesus (1 Corinthians 6:20; 7:23). As Lord, He can require us to do anything He wants. In the early days of the Charismatic Movement, we frequently sang the song, “He is Lord.” And He is. Latris, however, from the verb latreuo, means to serve, not out of compulsion, but by choice.(2) A parent serves his or her family by providing for and caring for them – not as a slave, but from the motivation of love. This is latreuo. Romans 12:1 in the King James Translation tells us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice to God, as it is our “reasonable service.” Other versions of Scripture translate the phrase differently, and appropriately so, saying this is our “reasonable service of worship.” They do this because the word here is latreuo, not doulos. We are not being told to present our bodies to God as a living sacrifice because we are His slaves, but rather because we are in a relationship with Him and want to please Him. We do it as worshippers. God’s heart is not to relate to us as slaves “owned” by Him, but to do so as His family and friends. Jesus said in John 15:14-15: “You are My friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, because all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.” Our Lord wants us to serve Him from a heart of love and worship, based on relationship. When we move into this type of relationship with God, we become His co-laborers, working together with Him. We embrace the great commission as a co-mission. Our hearts have become one with His, and we want what He wants. We’re members of Abba’s household of faith, His family. This motivation changes everything. Yes, Paul certainly referred to himself as the Lord’s bond-slave, but he also said the love of God constrained him; this was his motivation (2 Corinthians 5:14). As we pray and work toward the great harvest that is beginning, we must establish that we will obey God fully. But we must also fully realize that we are His partners, friends, and kids. As the Head of the church and King of the Kingdom, He gives directions, but He delights in involving us in the process. Diakonos The last three words used for “servant” or “minister” change the focus. Whereas the first two define our service and relationship with God, the last three involve us serving or ministering to other people. We are still doing it as unto the Lord, but the direct benefit is to humankind. The third word is diakonos, which simply means “to serve, minister, attend or wait on,” as in a “waiter” serving tables. We also get the English word “deacon” from this Greek word.(3) In Acts chapter 6, it is used for both the apostles’ “ministries” (Acts 6:4) and the deacons’ “ministries” (Acts 6:2). One group served natural food to the widows; the other served spiritual food to the entire church. Same word–both were servants. Diakonia/diakonos simply means to serve another, regardless of the purpose. We are ALL called to ministry or service for Christ, regardless of whether it is on a platform, in an office building, or at home. We have all been given gifts from God; serving that gift to benefit others is diakonia.(4) Huperetes The fourth word is huperetes, meaning “a subordinate or an attendant,” as well as a servant.(5) Interestingly, it is used in Acts 13:36 to describe David in his role as King of Israel. One would not typically think of describing a king as a subordinate, attendant, or servant. The verse says David ”served” God’s purpose in his generation. While governing the people, he was doing so as God’s servant. But there is another little-known meaning of huperetes. The word comes from two Greek words meaning “under” and “rower.” An underrower in that day was one who, in synchronization with others, rowed a boat or small ship. The key to their success was the synergy produced when they rowed together, simultaneously. Thirty people who take turns rowing produce only the strength of one, thirty different times. But thirty individuals rowing simultaneously create a synergistic force that can propel a small ship. This is why they often sang when rowing; it kept them in a cadence, rowing together to create a greater thrust. God’s goal is for groups in His church of “diakonoses” – servant ministers -- to connect relationally and row together (huperetes). They must not quarrel over who calls the cadence or what song they sing; instead, they must have Kingdom-minded hearts to move the boat forward: “Give me an oar and let me row.” When this is happening, we can accomplish number five. Therapon The last word for a servant is therapon. This word, while meaning “servant, attendant, or minister,” includes doing so to cure and heal!(6) (Matthew 4:23-24). We get the English words “therapy” and “therapist” from this Greek word. When God has people submitted to His Lordship (doulos), who love and want to partner with Him (latris), by ministering to others the gift He gave them (diakonos), and do so in harmony and agreement with others (huperetes), they become His healing force in the earth (therapon)! This is what we are doing when we intercede together for God’s purposes to be accomplished and released on earth. We become a force of God’s life, healing, and restorative power to save, deliver, and heal. Let’s do so now. Pray with me: Father, Jesus demonstrated true ministry – servanthood – as He went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed by satan (Acts 10:38). He came, not to be served, but to serve and give His life for many (Matthew 20:28). David, a king, was called a servant. Your apostles were called servants. We ask for great revelation to invade the church regarding our call to servanthood. And we ask for our hearts to be moved upon by Holy Spirit, bringing us passionate desires to connect, to work together. We ask that denominations, movements, leaders, and all believers would be moved on to produce this level of agreement. Convict us, the church, of judging one another, criticizing, causing, and/or honoring divisions. Show us the religiosity and pride that motivates this divisive spirit and replace it with a spirit of love and cooperation. And we ask for connections—millions of them. Build prayer connections, enabling us to fulfill the assignments you’ve given. We ask that EVERY nation have a STRONG prayer covering by the Ekklesia. Return our nations to You and send the greatest awakening the earth has ever experienced. In Christ’s name, amen. Those on the Left are demonstrating against Trump and the National Guard who are attempting to make Washington, D.C. safer and cleaner. They contend that DC is already safe and that crime isn’t a problem. Chuck Schumer says he feels perfectly safe walking around the Capitol area. He, of course, has his armed Secret Service detail all around him. Proverbs 18:1-2 comes to mind: “Unfriendly people care only about themselves; they lash out at common sense. Fools have no interest in understanding; they only want to air their own opinions.” (New Living Translation) Then there are the Democratic legislators in Texas who have walked off the job, protesting what they consider to be gerrymandering by the Republicans (redrawing Congressional districts in order to obtain more seats for a political party). Apart from the fact that abandoning their legislative jobs is illegal, the Dems did so by fleeing the state and hiding in Illinois, one of the most Democrat-gerrymandered states in the nation! “Let’s protest gerrymandering by fleeing to some of our gerrymandering friends!” One can’t help but wonder who thought that was a good idea. Meanwhile, “villain Trump” is off to Alaska today, attempting to stop another war. The Left doesn’t like this, either – someone else should end the war in Ukraine! As I have stated before, it appears TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) is real and growing much more destructive. It doesn’t matter to most of us who gets the credit for ending the war in Ukraine; we would just like for the incredible suffering and loss of life to end. It seems that the economic pressure Trump has been placing on Russia is having an effect; Putin has requested a meeting with him. No one knows if the meeting will be productive - the tensions between Russia and Ukraine are great, and they seem to be pretty far apart with their demands – but it is worth a try. Though Putin’s brutal attack against Ukraine cannot be justified, the situation is a little more complicated than most of us Americans understand. The animosity between Ukraine and Russia has deep historical roots that stretch way back beyond the two modern states, similar to the millennia-old conflicts throughout the Middle East. Layers of rule, painful memories, and strategic interests have built a long-running tension. Here is a brief historical review based on my research, which perhaps will help us pray more intelligently. In medieval and early modern times, what is now Ukraine and Russia shared a significant amount of culture and political intermingling. Over the centuries, this changed. The 19th and early 20th centuries saw an intensification of conflicting ideals. A Ukrainian national awakening challenged foreign dominance. World War I and the collapse of empires opened a brief window for Ukrainian independence, but an ensuing civil war and foreign interventions left Ukraine fragmented and under Soviet control by 1922. Under the Soviet Union era, the central government exercised tight and sometimes brutal political and economic control. One of the many negative outcomes in Ukraine was the famine-genocide in 1932–33 under Stalin (known as the Holodomor). This became an enduring and painful symbol of Soviet oppression for Ukraine. At least 3.5 million Ukrainians died, and some say it was closer to 7 million. World War II also added to the complexity and tensions, with postwar borders further entrenching Moscow’s authority over Ukrainian life. Fast-forward to the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, Ukraine declared independence, seeking Europe-oriented reforms and security assurances. Moscow’s reluctance to relinquish influence and Kyiv’s desire to assert sovereignty led to friction over security guarantees, energy supplies, and the status of Crimea. (Crimea is the southeast portion of Ukraine on the Black Sea.) The 2004 and 2014 uprisings in Ukraine (the Orange Revolution and the Maidan protests) crystallized a push toward European integration and further away from Moscow’s sphere of influence. Then came Russia’s 2014 annexation of Crimea and the resulting war in eastern Ukraine, followed by the broader invasion in 2022, which is what the world is now dealing with. Russia attempted to justify its actions, framing them as 1) protecting ethnic Russians and Russian speakers, and 2) countering NATO expansion. Ukraine frames them as illegal aggression and attacks against its sovereignty, which, of course, they are. The conflict has revived debates about history, painful interactions, security interests, and centuries of competing narratives. Although Putin is a violent and, I believe, evil man, let’s pray that he will agree to end this war and the suffering of millions of people. Let’s pray that Zelinsky and the Ukrainian people can move beyond the pain and devastation of Russia’s current aggression and, for the sake of saving many lives, be willing to negotiate a peace deal. Doing so won’t be easy when Russia is demanding some of their territory and has dealt them such pain and suffering. I’m not sure ANY peace deal will be “fair” to the Ukrainians, but the other two options may indeed be worse: their complete annihilation by Russia, or other nations entering the conflict and causing a Third World War. There may be other options I am not aware of, but the situation is certainly very complicated. Trump is a skillful negotiator. Let’s pray that God gives him wisdom and great insight as he meets with Putin. Pray with me: Father, President Trump has certainly come into the Kingdom at a precarious time in history. We believe that You have shaped and prepared him for such a time as this. Please amplify the skills You have given him and use his gifts to bring forth a breakthrough for the Ukrainian and Russian people. Give him and his team strategies that produce the outcome needed at this time. We pray that You would help the Ukrainian and Russian people recover from the incredible devastation they have suffered for these past few years. Many, many lives have been lost to both nations, and incredible damage has occurred to numerous cities and thousands of homes. War is so horrible. Use this challenging time to draw people to You, as has happened many times in history. We ask that You save millions of Ukrainians and Russians. And Father, we ask for wisdom for our government officials as they work to end crime and violence in our nation. America is reaping the fruit of great rebellion, but in Your mercy, please send an awakening and a reforming of our nation. Bring this current youth revival to greater levels very quickly, and we ask for this especially in inner cities and neighborhoods. At times, the strongholds seem insurmountable. But this is not true! You CAN save a generation, and we are asking for this. Rain down revival, we pray. All of these things we ask in the mighty name of Jesus.   11. https://www.givehim15.com/post/august-14-2025 August 14, 2025 Experiencing the “Abundant Life” Jesus Promised In yesterday’s post, we talked about an important Greek word used in the New Testament in the context of prayer. The word is dei, which means “that which is necessary, even binding, as in a legal sense; that which is right, proper or necessary in the nature of a case; that which is prescribed by law, duty, custom, etc.; from a sense of duty, one must.”(1) This word is used in Luke 18:1 to tell us prayer is absolutely necessary (dei) in order to overcome in life. Another important passage using this word is Matthew 16:18-19: “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” “Bind” (deo) is a different form of this same word. Jesus, King of the Kingdom of heaven, is referencing the spiritual authority He would give His Ekklesia (the church) to carry out His will on earth. An Ekklesia, of course, was a legislative assembly. The footnote in the Passion Translation makes this clear: “This is not a religious term at all, but a political and governmental term that is used many times in classical Greek for a group of people who have been summoned and gathered together to govern the affairs of a city. For Jesus to use this term means He is giving the keys of governmental authority in His kingdom to the church.” The meaning of deo, the word for bind(2) in verse 19, is consistent with this legal spiritual authority Christ gave His Ekklesia. Deo speaks of rulings that are “legally binding;” they must be honored. This is why some translations, including the Passion Translation, use the word “forbid” to translate deo. The Amplified Bible uses the words “forbid, declare to be improper and unlawful.” We have the right to forbid demonic powers from interfering in our lives and in the spheres of authority God has delegated to us. We can also do so in broader areas of shared authority, such as natural government. The fact that government is a “shared” authority means that the will and authority of others come into play. This is why it takes longer and requires the prayers of more people to shift governments through prayer. Nevertheless, we have the authority to bind or forbid the powers of darkness from affecting us and our family. And the corporate body of Christ has authority to bind and forbid demonic powers from ruling their nation. There is still another important and fascinating verse regarding prayer that uses the word dei. Romans 8:26 makes the point that we don’t always know how to pray as we “ought” (dei). The verse is stating that we don’t always know what is “legally right or necessary” spiritually speaking, in order to see some situations change. For example, we may not be aware of all the spiritual strongholds that control an individual for whom we are praying. We may not be aware of the “legal” ground the person has given to evil spirits, giving demons the “right” to operate. We may not know whether it is a demonic spirit controlling a person or their own fleshly appetites. When praying for a person’s healing, the sickness is at times caused by an evil spirit. (Matthew 17:18 and others). If this is the case, we would need to pray differently. When praying for our government, we obviously don’t know all of the details of how to pray; we don’t know “what is necessary, right or proper in the nature of the case” (dei). This wonderful passage in Romans 8 says Holy Spirit will help us overcome this weakness by praying through us. He alerts us to pray, gives us insight as we pray, brings Scriptures to mind and releases revelation regarding the situation. His supernatural help is what causes the working together of all things for our good, mentioned in verse 28. In her book Prophetic Intercession, Barbara Wentroble shares the following testimony of Holy Spirit’s help: “My mother-in-law was sitting in her living room at 9:30 AM. Suddenly, she felt a sensation of fear, accompanied by an urgency to pray for her son (my husband), Dale. “After asking the Lord to reveal to her how to pray, she felt a deep impression that Dale was in danger. She prayed for several minutes and then felt the ‘burden’ lift. Later that night, she called our home to ask Dale what he had been doing at 9:30 in the morning. ‘Oh, that’s easy,’ he replied. ‘I remember because I looked at my watch. Another man was talking to me while we were standing out in the plant at work. There had been some remodeling in the plant over the past several weeks, and we were discussing the progress. All of a sudden, I felt an urgency to move from the place where we were standing. We quickly moved to another spot about 20 feet away. Just as quickly as we moved, a large steel beam fell from the ceiling and landed in that very spot where I had been standing.’”(3) That is Holy Spirit help when, apart from Him, we wouldn’t know that prayer was needed, or what was necessary in the prayer. In summary, Jesus said it is required of us, it is absolutely necessary (dei), that we always pray and not lose heart (Luke 18:1). He said we have authority to enforce what is legally right (dei), spiritually speaking (Matthew 16:18-19). And He told us that when we did not know what was legally right (dei), spiritually speaking, Holy Spirit would help us (Romans 8:26-28). These are just a few of the ways we experience the abundant life He promised (John 10:10). Pray with me: Father, You told us to pray and never lose heart. You delivered us from the authority of darkness, translated us into the Kingdom of Christ (Colossians 1:13), and told us we could forbid satan and his demonic forces from influencing our lives. We can stop him from causing us harm, stealing from us, and hindering our success in life. And You told us that Holy Spirit was always available to help us in our prayers. Therefore, in the name and authority of Jesus: We forbid demonic attacks against our families from succeeding. We forbid diseases caused by demonic forces from affecting our bodies. Today, I want to mention a very important Greek word from the New Testament, along with a couple of references where it is used. The word is “dei,” which means “that which is necessary, even binding, as in a legal sense; that which is right, proper, or necessary in the nature of a case; that which is prescribed by law, duty, custom, etc.; from a sense of duty, one must.”(1) From these definitions, it is easy to see the strong meaning of the word. Dei does not indicate a suggestion or that something might perhaps be a good idea. To the contrary, it carries the weight of duty or legality. The very literal Wuest translation of the New Testament typically uses the phrases “that which is right and proper” and “that which is necessary in the nature of the case” to translate the word. With this in mind, let’s look at two passages where it is used. The first one will demonstrate the strength of the word; the latter uses it in the context of prayer. In Luke chapter 13, Jesus healed a lady on the Sabbath who had a crooked back, bent over for 18 years; the condition was caused by a demonic spirit (verses 10-12). However, practicing medicine was considered work, and the Pharisees lumped healing in with practicing medicine. Therefore, as ridiculous as it seems, the Pharisees considered it a violation of Sabbath laws to heal on that day! Upon seeing this miracle performed, the synagogue official became indignant, saying to the people gathered, “Six days there are during which it is right and proper [dei] to accomplish things. In them therefore you should come and be healed and not on the day of the Sabbath” (verse 14, Wuest translation). Unimaginable. “It’s against our laws to heal on the Sabbath,” he protested. No wonder Jesus couldn’t tolerate the Pharisees and religiosity of His day. Christ‘s response to the official was first to point out the hypocrisy of this law, reminding him that they took care of their animals on the Sabbath. Then He turned the tables on the official, using his own word “dei” to win the argument. “And this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan bound, just think of it, eighteen years, was it not a necessity in the nature of the case [dei] that she be released from this binding restriction on the Sabbath?” (Verse 16, Wuest translation). Follow Christ’s logic. He first pointed out that this woman was “a daughter of Abraham.” As such, she had a covenantal right to healing: “I am Jehovah Rapha, the Lord your Healer” God had said to Israel in Exodus 15:26. Later, He said, “You shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water; and I will remove sickness from your midst” (Exodus 23:25). Healing was her covenantal right. Then He continued: “Since she has the legal, covenantal right to healing and I am here as Jehovah Rapha, the initiator and fulfiller of that covenant, it is legally binding (dei) that I heal her. I must. Your religious legalism says I must NOT; the legality of covenant says I MUST.” zzzzzzzzz! Now, with this understanding of the strength of this word, dei, let’s look at another reference. Jesus used the word again in Luke 18:1: “And He spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought (dei) always to pray, and not to faint.” He then shared the parable of the unrighteous judge and widow. When we use the word “ought” in conversation, we are typically suggesting that something be done or stating that it might be a good idea. That is NOT what Jesus was doing! Prayer is more than a suggestion, a possible good idea. He was saying that it is necessary, right, proper, even legally binding (dei), that we pray, asking the Father for what we need. We MUST! Wuest again confirms this, stating in the verse that it is a “necessity.” Elsewhere, Jesus said that even though God knows our needs before we ask (Matthew 6:8), we still must ask (verses 11-13). James 4:2 goes so far as to tell us one of the reasons we don’t receive what we need is simply because we don’t ask. Prayer isn’t optional! And the last part of the verse in Luke 18:1 is also significant: “don’t faint.” A better translation in today’s language would be “don’t lose heart.” Some translations tell us not to lose our courage. Don’t be faint-hearted or lose your courage. Instead, pray! When Joshua began his assignment to lead Israel, three times God commanded him to be courageous (Joshua 1:6, 7, 9)! As challenging as it is to hear, courage is a choice. God has placed within us an innate ability to overcome and be courageous. He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We must draw on this overcoming nature and refuse to let fear conquer us. When times get tough, be courageous… and pray! When the bad report comes in, be courageous… and pray! When the storm rages and it seems you will not survive, be courageous…and pray! When your nation turns away from God and toward evil, be courageous…and pray! Anchor yourself to faith in God as your Father and believe that He will come through for you. You MUST! Pray with me: Father, You told us to always pray and not lose heart. You commanded Joshua in his battles to possess the land, to be strong and courageous. We, too, must be strong and courageous as we possess our nation. We declare our faith that You have given us a spirit of power, love, and a disciplined mind; the spirit of fear is not part of our inheritance. In the spirit of Luke 18:1, we ask You to forgive and heal our land. We ask You to heal the division and hatred, replacing them with brotherly love. We ask for a continued purging in our government, cleansing it from evil and corruption. Weaken those in our government who resist You and Your righteousness, removing their influence; strengthen those who walk in integrity and truth. We ask that the spirit of violence and crime be broken off our nation. Send revival to the youth of America (and the world), with a power the world has never before seen. Awaken the Ekklesia here and around the world to the authority You have given us, and cause her to burn with fires of revival. Uncontainable fire! And we agree in prayer for our brothers and sisters who are struggling with loss, sickness, lack, emotional pain, and discouragement. Cause the spirit of faith to arise in them, overcoming the spirit of fear. Help them to choose courage, to fan the flames of hope and faith, and to pray! Where there is confusion, awaken the soundness of mind. Where there is discouragement, cause hope to arise. Where there is pain, replace it with healing power. We stand with and for them today, in the mighty name of Jesus. This writing was so compelling that George Washington required all of his troops to read it as they faced the challenges of being outmanned, outgunned, and undersupplied. No doubt about it, Paine’s pamphlet was a key part of motivating America’s patriots to fight for freedom. Paine’s choice of this title was as deliberate as the arguments inside it. The phrase was designed to frame the question of independence as something obvious, universal, and within reach of every reader—not reserved for scholars and politicians. By naming his work “Common Sense”, Paine signaled that he would demonstrate to ordinary people that the case for breaking with Britain rested on practical judgment and shared human experience, not on aristocratic theory. The title revealed that the pamphlet was a voice for a broad audience. Paine wrote in plain language, deliberately avoiding the high-brow jargon of political essays. He wanted farmers, tradesmen, artisans, and laborers to grasp his arguments without wading through numerous footnotes or Latin phrases. The choice of “Common Sense” promised clarity and the kind of reasoning that anyone, regardless of education, could recognize as reasonable. By appealing to the “common” logic of his readers, Paine bypassed the elites and framed independence as a decision rooted in everyday practicality. The phrase also implied shared ideals. “Common sense” referred to the practical knowledge a community relied on to govern itself in ordinary life. Paine adopted this notion to contend that the colonies’ separation from Britain was not a radical leap but a logical conclusion grounded in the mutual interests and rights of the people. If a monarchy and hereditary rule, as Great Britain preached, seemed contrary to ordinary experience, then rejecting them became, in Paine’s view, common sense. In this way, the title invited readers to view independence as a natural consequence of the basic principles of liberty and self-government. The title also reflected Paine’s target audience. “Common Sense” was addressed directly to the mainstream inhabitants of America, not to the academic community and cultural elite. Paine’s plan was to mobilize opinion by presenting simple, provocative arguments in direct language, often posing questions that exposed the inconsistencies of British rule and the benefits of republican self-government. If the reasons for independence felt like common sense, then resistance to it would appear as stubborn resistance to practical truth. Finally, the title helped inaugurate a new political culture. The pamphlet helped foster a growing American identity around the notion that governance should be grounded in consent and common welfare rather than inherited authority. The term “Common Sense” thus carried with it a promise: that all could grasp political truth, and that the American dream would be explained in terms that any person could understand and act upon. It was a strategic declaration that the decision to sever ties with Britain rested on the clear, shared judgments of ordinary people. Common Sense Today Here we are again needing common sense to save us. Oppressed by cultural elites, woke idiocy, and anti-biblical Marxists, the value of common sense is on the rise in America. Americans are sometimes gullible, definitely uninformed, and, sadly, entirely too self-absorbed. But they love their freedom, and most of them possess “good ole common sense.” They will tolerate bureaucratic and woke nonsense for a while, but their tolerance level is eventually reached, and they demand a return to sanity. Enter Donald Trump. I just listened to his press conference, where he announced that he and his team are taking over law enforcement in Washington, D.C., at least for the time being. He spoke of the rampant violence, filth, graffiti, disrepair, homeless camps, out-of-control crime, etc. I couldn’t help but think of Paine’s pamphlet as I listened to him, for all that Trump said was simple common sense. Here are some highlights of his statement, not in direct quotes, but generally speaking: We are taking back our nation from the thugs and criminals. We will clean up and repair our nation’s capital, making it something we can be proud of. We will remove the graffiti; those who deface the city and its monuments will be held accountable and face jail time until they have served their entire sentence. We will make our capital city safe again, so that US families can visit without fearing for their lives. Spit in the face of a cop and they will now hit you, rather than be forced to stand and take it. We will use whatever force is required to accomplish this, including the military if necessary. Commit a crime and you will not be back on the street in a few hours through cashless bail. You will go to jail. We will now listen to the culturally elite talk about how horrible these things are, while the rest of us shout a hearty “Amen.” One of the more entertaining parts of the press conference was watching Pete Hegseth stand just behind and to the right of the President, trying not to smile at some of Trump’s comments. Patriots like Hegseth enjoy good ole patriotic common sense. Most of Trump’s statements at his rallies were also simply common-sense-based declarations: We are going to function like every other nation and have controlled borders. We will deport those who have come here illegally, beginning with criminals, gang members, rapists, murderers, and those with terrorist ties. We will demand fair and equitable trade in our dealings with other nations. Countries we protect across the ocean are going to start paying their fair share. We are going to stop calling girls, “boys” and boys, “girls.” And we will stop mutilating their bodies. We will stop arresting concerned parents who attend school board meetings because they don’t want their kindergarten children taught how to be drag queens. We will strengthen our military. We will lower taxes and cut out waste in government. Common sense..! Pray with me: Father, Your Word speaks of those who profess to be wise, but are actually fools (Romans 1:22). America has its share of these. It also says, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil” (Isaiah 5:20). Romans 1 also speaks of suppressing the truth and allowing darkness to overtake foolish hearts (verses 18 and 21). Rejecting You and silencing one’s conscience makes people become fools. America has allowed many incompetent individuals to sit in positions of government and education. In Your mercy, please continue removing them. Give us more plainspoken purveyors of truth and common sense. Continue to awaken the American people to the nonsensical positions of those who oppose You and the laws of nature. Cause them to continue to rise up and demand that truth rule our nation. Give support to leaders like Trump, his team, Michael Johnson, and other government leaders who are standing for our Constitution, our heritage, and Your ways. We ask You to rescue the many youth in America who are out of control and angry in our inner cities. They have been misled, deceived, and left to their own ways. Save them before it is too late for them. Give strategies to those attempting to reach them, and send the fire of revival to the inner cities of America. Pour out Your Spirit in our schools. Please send the greatest revival to the young people of America that has ever taken place. And we pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen. (One of the five has only been a U.S. citizen since 2019.) Let that sink in: five of the rogue judges dictating policies that affect our entire nation had never served as a judge in any capacity before being appointed to some of the most powerful judgeships in America. They are: “Judge Tanya Chutkan, born in Kingston, Jamaica. She came to the U.S. in 1979…In addition to overseeing the legal challenge to the Department of Government Efficiency's [DOGE] work to slash government spending, she has presided over cases involving Trump, including overseeing his criminal trial in connection with the 2020 presidential election. “Judge Amit P. Mehta, appointed by Obama, was born in Patan, India…He is to oversee four Jan. 6 civil cases against Trump. “Judge Ana Cecilia Reyes, nominated in 2021, was born in Uruguay and grew up in Louisville, Kentucky…and is the first openly LGBTQ Hispanic woman to be appointed to the court. She presided over an objection to an executive order from Trump that declared ‘gender dysphoria’ as inconsistent with standards for troop readiness, blocking the order through a preliminary injunction. “Judge Amir Hatem Mahdy Ali, another Biden appointee, is the first Muslim and Arab American to serve on the D.C. District Court. Who needs Congress to pass laws? Just appoint the right judge, and they can legislate from the bench and even override the President elected by the majority of Americans. The appointment of liberal judges and the election of left-leaning district attorneys in numerous blue cities has led to horrendous violence and crime. The recent mob attack in Cincinnati, Ohio, is just one case in point. Tens of thousands of people are leaving beautiful California, having given up on changing the state back to a place of common sense and law and order. The same is true with New York. The problems go all the way to the top. Certain opinions of Supreme Court justices on the left have been criticized as ridiculous, even laughable, based on the Constitution and precedent. And regarding corruption at the High Court, does anyone in their right mind actually believe the ludicrous assertion that the leaker of the Dobbs decision reversing Roe versus Wade cannot be found?! Please! The good news is – and yes, there is good news – people in America are rising up and demanding change regarding the un-American, leftist, dishonest, and stupid ideals being forced upon them. And a remnant of the church is praying. America was birthed by appealing to heaven, and America is being saved by appealing to heaven. Samuel Adams, known by Bostonians as the father of the American Revolution, has become one of my favorite Founding Fathers. In September 1777, the war for independence was not going well. The British were in control of New York, Washington’s troops were suffering from deprivation and fatigue. “The number of delegates present at Congress had dwindled to a mere twenty from the fifty-six members who had signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776. Those remaining gathered for a private meeting in York to question whether there was any hope of success.”(2) Sam Adams rose to speak, comparing the American revolutionaries to the Israelites who had left the slavery of Egypt. According to Exodus, chapter 13, God guided them in the wilderness with a “pillar of cloud by day” and a “pillar of fire by night.” In his address, Adams demonstrated his faith and patriotism stating: “Let us awaken then, and evince a different spirit, a spirit that shall inspire the people with confidence in themselves and in us, a spirit that will encourage them to persevere in this glorious struggle, until their rights and liberties shall be established on a rock. We have proclaimed to the world our determination ‘to die freemen, rather than to live slaves.’ We have appealed to heaven for the justice of our cause, and in heaven we have placed our trust. Numerous have been the manifestations of God’s providence in sustaining us. In the gloomy period of adversity, we have had ‘our cloud by day and pillar of fire by night.’ We have been reduced to distress, and the arm of Omnipotence has raised us up. Let us still rely in humble confidence on Him who is mighty to save. Good tidings will soon arrive. Heaven shall never abandon us while we act worthy of its aid and protection.”(3) Keep praying, church, we have Scripture and history on our side. Heaven shall never abandon us. Pray with me: Father, sin and rebellion often lead to depravity and insanity. America now has depraved judges and legislators who want to see babies killed, children mutilated, Your Word mocked, Your marriage covenant defiled, and common sense outlawed. Many “became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools” (Romans 1:21-22). We have sown the wind and are reaping the whirlwind (Hosea 8:7). And yet, You are rich in mercy (Ephesians 2:4), and love to redeem. We approach You now based on the redemptive properties of the blood of Jesus. In the greatest story ever told, our Creator has become our Redeemer. We ask that His blood continue to cleanse our nation from sin, its resulting depravity, and the curse of insanity. Cleanse our hearts and heal our minds. Restore us to You, and thereby to truth and life. As founder Samuel Adams referenced, we ask You for the cloud by day and pillar of fire by night (Exodus 13:21). Bring Your glory and fire to our three branches of government, releasing these guiding forces in the White House, the halls of Congress, and the Supreme Court. Flow down from these “heads” to every facet of the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of our government. “We have appealed to heaven for the justice of our cause, and in heaven we have placed our trust.”(4) We will not doubt, and we will not stop until our nation is ablaze with revival and being reformed by truth. You shall observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread; for seven days you are to eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the appointed time in the month Abib, for in it you came out of Egypt. And none shall appear before Me empty-handed. Also, you shall observe the Feast of the Harvest of the first fruits of your labors from what you sow in the field; also, the Feast of the Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather in the fruit of your labors from the field. Three times a year, all your males shall appear before the Lord God.” Deuteronomy 16:16: “Three times in a year, all your males shall appear before the Lord your God in the place which He chooses, at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, at the Feast of Weeks, and at the Feast of Booths, and they shall not appear before the Lord empty-handed.” God understands that we must relate to others on different levels. In Israel, they identified with one another as families, cities, tribes, and as a nation. God realized that the closeness and commitment to one another would decrease as the number of people increased. One of the ways He ensured that Israel would maintain its national identity, while immersed in living life with family, community, and tribe, was this requirement for all of the men (13 years old and upward) to go to Jerusalem three times a year for major feasts. This practice helped keep them all connected both spiritually and nationally. These journeys were time-consuming and required sacrifice, but they were necessary to remind all of Israel that they were part of something bigger than themselves. Who doesn’t realize how easy it is to get caught up in our own world of family, friends, challenges, and activities? The principle behind this requirement in Israel is appropriate for us in the body of Christ today. Though we are members of different congregations, streams and “tribes,” we are part of one spiritual nation; we must never fail to remember and honor this. It is inappropriate to think we can isolate ourselves from other tribes and spiritual families. Our union in Christ is far more important than our differences and preferences. God loves and demands unity, and those who divide brothers are an abomination to Him (Proverbs 6:16-19). There is another occurrence in Scripture mentioned in the books of Numbers and Joshua, which demonstrates the importance of our corporate identity in God’s family and the importance of working together. Joshua 1:12–18 reads: “To the Reubenites and to the Gadites and to the half-tribe of Manasseh, Joshua said, ‘Remember the word which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, saying, “The Lord your God gives you rest and will give you this land.” Your wives, your little ones, and your cattle shall remain in the land which Moses gave you beyond the Jordan, but you shall cross before your brothers in battle array, all your valiant warriors, and shall help them, until the Lord gives your brothers rest, as He gives you, and they also possess the land which the Lord your God is giving them. Then you shall return to your own land, and possess that which Moses the servant of the Lord gave you beyond the Jordan toward the sunrise.’ “They answered Joshua, saying, ‘All that you have commanded us we will do, and wherever you send us we will go. Just as we obeyed Moses in all things, so we will obey you; only may the Lord your God be with you as He was with Moses. Anyone who rebels against your command and does not obey your words in all that you command him, shall be put to death; only be strong and courageous.”’ These verses refer back to an account in Numbers 32. Three tribes, Reuben, Gad, and Manasseh, had requested that Moses give their inheritances to them before Joshua and the entire nation conquered Canaan. They had found land on the other side of the Jordan River that suited their livestock well, and asked that this land be given to them as an inheritance. Moses agreed – as long as they temporarily left their ranches and homes to fight for the other tribes when it was time for Israel to possess Canaan. It was “all for one and one for all” as far as the inheritance of Israel was concerned. Failure to honor this agreement was punishable by death! Regardless of how settled they were on their farms and ranches, how comfortable they had become in their homes with their families, when the time came to fight, the men would have to pack up, grab their weapons, and fight for their brothers and sisters. Although it was 40 years before the time came for the remaining tribes to possess their land, Joshua – and God – had not forgotten the agreement. Joshua brought it up immediately in chapter one of the book bearing his name, and these three tribes honored their commitment. How different things would be if the body of Christ thought this way today. If we realized that we could not honor only our tribe’s identity or celebrate only our congregation’s success, but possessed hearts willing to sacrifice and battle for the success of our brothers and sisters, how different things would be. If we realized it was required of us to war for the entire nation, not just for our home and family, how different things would be. Obviously, some causes and battles are local, but others rise to the level of national importance. As we war for the soul of America – for her revival, restoration, and reset – much of that must be done at the local level. But there are some battles that require all of the tribes to fight as one. This is why God, at times, leads individuals to host significant national gatherings or release national prayer alerts. And when we honor these calls to national prayer, victories flow down to all. A very significant national gathering will take place in Washington, D.C., on October 9-12. It is simply called Communion America, referencing our faith in the blood of Jesus, and the belief that no person, no religious or political organization, and no human strategy can save America. The journey of salvation we are on is a journey back to our faith in Christ and our relationship with God through His blood: “What can wash away my sins? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus.”(1) So, throughout the day on Thursday and Friday, we will gather in 50 tents – one for each state -- and worship. In the evenings, we will all gather together, worshiping and praying for our nation. On Saturday, October 11, a table of communion will be set up the length of the Washington Mall, and we will humbly partake of the covenant meal together, asking God to cleanse our nation with the blood of Jesus…and send the greatest of revivals. I can safely say that God has used various visits to Washington, D.C., to accomplish as much or more in my heart than any other activity. There is something about taking a stand in our nation’s capital – as both a citizen of heaven and of America – that is incredibly significant. My emotions have run the gamut when doing so, from overwhelming travail accompanied by many tears to exultant, powerful decrees. If you have never made such a pilgrimage, this would be a great time to do so. During my visits, not only have I been used, I have been marked. Nothing has done as much to solidify the revelation that this is MY country as have these visits to pray in Washington, D.C., Holy Spirit has told me many times while there, “Take ownership of this nation – it belongs to you.” You should consider joining host David Bradshaw, Lou Engle, me, and other leaders, helping us write this new chapter of America’s history. Family units are blessed and cursed, as are cities and entire nations. Also nations, just like individuals, possess divine purposes and destinies. We know You raised America up to propagate the gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth. And though we have rejected You and turned from this calling, in Your mercy, You are restoring us. We declare that we will experience a great harvest and also be used to reap an incredible harvest in other nations. Without a doubt, You have led David Bradshaw and Awaken the Dawn to host this worship and Communion gathering on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Now, we ask You to breathe Your life, favor, and blessing into it. Give it wind. Move upon the hearts of tens of thousands of people to attend, and millions more to participate online.   16. https://www.givehim15.com/post/august-6-2025 August 6, 2025 Mining the Gold “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” (Jeremiah 33:3) This famous verse of Scripture has no doubt been heard by almost every believer. On one occasion several years ago, I woke up at 3:33 AM and heard the Lord say to me, “Jeremiah 33:3.” At least, I thought I had awakened at 3:33 AM, until I woke up again at 3:33 AM, and heard the same words! When I finally did wake up, I realized I had dreamed – twice! – that I woke up at 3:33 AM, and heard the Lord say “Jeremiah 33:3.” The Lord wanted to “awaken” me to this verse and do so with extra emphasis, so He gave me the same dream twice. I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but upon waking, I knew immediately that God wanted me to look at Jeremiah 33:3. We all find comfort in the promise that if we call upon the Lord, He will answer us and show us great and mighty things. But I decided to dig a little deeper, and began by reading the verse in several translations. I was immediately intrigued by the Amplified Classic Bible: “Call to Me, and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand).” The phrase “fenced in and hidden” fascinated me. “Mighty” is the word that motivated the Amplified translators to add this additional phrase. My first thought was, Well, which is right? “Mighty?” or “fenced in and hidden?” Out came the lexicons. The Hebrew word is batsar.(1) It is a very fascinating word. Follow closely: the root concept is “to cut off,” including the aspect of separating or isolating something. It was often used in the context of doing so in order to protect it. This is why it was used by the Amplified translators to describe something “fenced in and hidden,” like a garden or vineyard; it was even used to describe gold, which is “cut off” from view and “hidden” by the ground. The word also took on the meaning of a city that was cut off, inaccessible, and therefore, “fortified.” The concept of mighty, therefore, is not referring to a muscular or military might, but to something hidden and inaccessible, thus, protected and “mighty.” The Amplified got it right. The verse is saying that God will reveal information or a revelation that has been hidden, not yet made known. He will “unhide” it. This can be seen in the fact that a different form of the word, betser,(2) is used to describe gold that was once “hidden” but has now been discovered and mined. Using this analogy, we could say that God is going to reveal the treasure of His Word, or the prophetic revelation necessary to succeed or prosper. We actually sometimes use the phrase “a wealth of information.” This information from Holy Spirit could be prophetic insight regarding the times and seasons, how to break through in a given situation, or direction for the future. Any new insight revealed by Holy Spirit would fit the description of batsar/betser. God is willing to reveal the understanding you need to break through and prosper. Your Counselor and Teacher, Holy Spirit, wants to release the spirit of wisdom and revelation to you (Ephesians 1:17). He wants to “uncover” truth, information, and insight for You. Uncover is actually the literal meaning of revelation. Let Him help you mine the gold. Jeremiah 15:16 says, “Thy words were FOUND, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts” (emphasis mine). Too often, we fail to “find” the gold, the revelation we need, because we are not diligently looking and listening. Psalm 107:9 tells us God satisfies the thirsty and the hungry, filling them with what is good. “The problem isn’t God’s refusal to speak but our refusal or inability to get quiet enough to hear. Silencing the soul is a learned art. The psalmist David spoke of this. ‘Surely I have composed and quieted my soul; like a weaned child rests against his mother’ (Psalm 131:2). When we quiet the soul, we can hear His voice in our hearts.”(3) As King Solomon was about to begin his reign over Israel, he prayed a prayer God couldn’t resist. “So give Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people to discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?” (1 Kings 3:9). The phrase “an understanding heart” should actually be translated “a hearing heart.” The translators struggle with the concept of a “hearing” heart, so they don’t word it this way. But the Hebrew word is shama,(4) and it means “to hear.” Solomon asked for a hearing heart to discern between good and evil, enabling him to lead God’s people appropriately. God answered Solomon’s prayer, revealing to him treasures of wisdom, and we can read them in the book of Proverbs. Why don’t you take a little time today and ask God to reveal some treasure to you? Pray with me: Father, we echo the words of the Psalmist, who asked You to “open my eyes that I may behold wonderful things from Your law/word” (Psalm 119:18). There is no problem we have, no situation we face, for which the answer cannot be found in Your Word. Give us the hunger and tenacity to dig for the treasure, for You have said that if we call upon You, You would answer and show us the hidden pearls of revelation we need. No, these priceless gems are not lying out in the open for the casual seeker to come across them “accidentally.” You do not cast Your pearls before swine. They must be sought, treated as the priceless treasure they are. But for the hungry, You have promised to help us mine the gold and find the treasure. Give us hungry, seeking hearts, just as Solomon possessed. And we know You will respond to that hunger by opening our eyes to see hidden treasures of wisdom. We pray for our leaders in government and in the church. We ask that You give them wisdom and revelation to lead with Your understanding and enlightenment. Give them supernatural strategies to overcome challenging problems. Give them solutions to heal our nation and spread righteousness and justice. And we pray for everyone joining us today. Give them the answer they need in order to overcome, to break through, to succeed. Give them heaven’s understanding and wisdom for every situation they face. All of this we ask in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. As always, it is powerful, and I believe it will minister to you greatly. Tim’s title is: The Oil of Joy: Strength for the Season I believe this is a season in which the Lord desires to bring deep healing and renewal to our souls, positioning us to reign victoriously with Christ in the fullness of His promises. Just as the Lord, our Shepherd, restored David’s soul in Psalm 23, He desires to do the same for us. I recently heard the Lord say, “This is a season in which I will give beauty for ashes in amplified ways. My transforming anointing will destroy yokes of oppression, hopelessness, and resulting bondages. It will be poured out in great measure. “Soul strikes” will be healed, bringing full recovery to My people. I will give the oil of joy for mourning and garments of praise for the spirit of heaviness.” As I prayed and reflected on this, Holy Spirit brought to my mind a prophetic word from several years ago and added fresh insight. Here is that word: “A supernatural time of exchange has now come to fullness, which will liberate my people to live in the freedoms I intend for them. Move into and live in the reality of that which I have promised. Move into the power dimensions I have provided. Leave the ashes your enemies used to stain your soul and darken your times. Leave the burning, singeing soul-grief brought by the spirit prince of heaviness. Wrap yourself in new garments created from the promises your Prince of Peace has made to you. Live in the realities of My revealed identity for the joint heirs, My nature and life within you. Live life as a child of God. Live the God-life in your natural-life, filled with Holy Spirit-life. Come to the place of awesome exchange. Is not My altar the holy place of exchange? Your sins, for My forever life. Your chains, for My freedom. Your guilt, for My pardon. Your shame, for My innocence. Your condemnation, for divine approval. Your weakness, for My strength. Your futile works, for My grace. Your defeats, for My victory. Your fears, for My boldness. Your failures, for My success. Your sickness, for My healing. Come unto Me, all you who are weak and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Understand anew the supernatural favor I placed upon you. You are marked for supernatural favor. Understand the exchange privileges, the promises that are faithful, true, watched over, and performed for you. Move into the reality of My great exchange. Give Me your ashes, I’ll give you beauty. Give Me your grieving, I’ll give you joy. I'll pour soothing oil over you. Give Me your heaviness and I'll give songs of thanksgiving. Give Me your burial clothes and I’ll give you garments of praise. Receive the anointing pouring forth from heaven. Participate in the supernatural time I am providing. Receive and enjoy the benefits of the great exchange.” As I began to reflect on this prophetic word, the Holy Spirit drew me to Isaiah 61. As I read it, I knew the passage was a kairos word, a now word. A fresh word breathed on the body of Christ, carrying fresh wind, fresh life, and fresh power. I heard the Spirit saying: "A new measure of the joy of the Lord is being poured out in this season. I am pouring out the oil of joy." Nehemiah 8:10 reminds us that the joy of the Lord is our strength. When joy comes, strength is activated. This means the opposite is also true: despair weakens us. There is a surge of joy being released by Holy Spirit to strengthen sons and daughters, making them joyful warriors. They will be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Joy is always available to us, but there are times when heaven releases an intentional wave of joy that produces strength. This is one of those times. Isaiah 61:1–3 (The Message) says: “God sent me to announce the year of His grace—a celebration of God’s destruction of our enemies… to give bouquets of roses instead of ashes, messages of joy instead of news of doom, a praising heart instead of a languid spirit… They’ll be renamed Oaks of Righteousness, planted by God to display His glory.” This passage tells us the brokenhearted will be renamed. The bound will be renamed. Those who are mourning and in grief will be renamed. God is calling them His strong ones, His oaks of righteousness. The Father never calls you His weakling. You may feel weak because of circumstances that have knocked you down, but heaven is pouring out joy to make you strong like an oak tree. We don’t make it through life without some misfortune. But experiencing problems doesn’t mean we’re in unbelief or that we’ve sinned. It simply means we’ve encountered an unexpected storm. We may not have seen it coming, and we may not have caused it, but when it arrives, we must overcome. As born-again sons and daughters, we have a promise of victory alive within us, and we trust God – He will turn things around! Romans 8:28 declares that God works all things together for good to those who love Him... That doesn’t mean everything will return to the way it was; some things will never be the same. But the promise is that God knows how to make life good again. He knows how to restore or replace what was lost. He knows how to change what needs to be changed. He knows how to give beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. There is a story recorded in Lee: The Last Years by Charles Bracelen Flood. After the Civil War, General Robert E. Lee was traveling through Kentucky on horseback and passed by the home of a woman, clearly upset about what the ravages of war had done to her property. She pointed out to Lee a great shade tree that had been mangled and broken by artillery fire, expecting Lee to condemn the Union troops. Lee knew, however, that it was time to heal, and simply said, “Cut it down, madam. Cut it down and forget it.” Then he rode on. (1) You may have suffered greatly from the enemy’s artillery fire. And, yes, some of it is undoubtedly devastating. But I believe God wants to give you grace to move on from losses, abuse, and attacks of the past, so that you can stop reliving the “soul strike.” He will enable you to lay the axe to the root of despair, no longer controlled by the effects of the enemy’s artillery fire. Plant your hope in a new season. Plant your faith for a new harvest. Press forward into the future God has in store for you. This is a season when God is bringing fresh strength, fresh hope, and fresh joy. Receive the oil of joy and let Him make you strong, an oak of righteousness, planted to display His glory. Pray with me: Father, we are grateful that You have promised to restore our souls. We thank You for this season of supernatural exchange. Thank You for the promise of Isaiah 61, that You give beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Lord, today, we choose to trust You, anchoring our hope in You, knowing that You don’t disappoint. Cause joy to arise in us, producing strength for this season, so we may live as joyful warriors, strong in You and the power of Your might. And Lord, we pray for this refreshing, restoration, and strength to be poured out on our leaders. They are on the front lines of war, not only in America, but the entire world. Give them strength-producing joy, faith-sustaining courage, and fruit-producing wisdom. We pray they not grow weary in doing what is right, so that they may reap in due season (Galatians 6:9). We pray this especially for President Trump. Give him supernatural strength to finish his race well. All of this we ask in Jesus’ name, amen.   18. https://www.givehim15.com/post/august-4-2025 August 4, 2025 Declaring God’s Word “You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways.” Job 22:28 NKJV It was 1980, and I was fresh out of Bible College. I was radical enough spiritually to pray for anything that moved – or grew. That’s why I was standing in the middle of a field, reading the Bible to the crops. Now that I have your attention . . .No, I’m not kidding. I was taking my cue from Jesus, who once spoke to a tree, releasing a death sentence to it. The following day it was dead (see Mark 11:13-14, 20). On another occasion, He also spoke to a storm, commanding it to stop (see Mark 4:39), and even addressed a corpse, giving it life (see John 11:43). One of His disciples also did the latter (see Acts 9:36-41). Jesus knew that nature and dead people weren’t “hearing” Him, but that His words were releasing the power of Holy Spirit to impact those realms. Likewise, our words, when they are God’s words and Holy Spirit leads us to speak them, also release divine power. That’s why I was declaring the Bible over a field. Actually, I was reading it to the field and the flies that were invading it. I read the blessings of Deuteronomy 28 concerning the crop: “Blessed shall be . . . the produce of your ground . . . The Lord will command the blessing . . . in all that you put your hand to, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God gives you . . . And the Lord will make you abound in prosperity . . . in the produce of your ground” (vv 4, 8, 11). I read Psalm 91:3 concerning the flies: “For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper, and from the deadly pestilence.” The flies died, and the crop lived. The situation was as follows: A Guatemalan farmer, already in financial trouble from previous losses, was in danger of losing thousands of acres of maize to these flies. He was about to spend approximately $25,000 to have them crop-dusted and wasn’t even sure this would stop the plague. We reminded this new Christian about the biblical principle of tithing and the promise that God would “rebuke the devourer” (see Malachi 3:10-11) for those who would obey Him in this regard. We then read him the verses mentioned above and asked if he would like us to join him in reading and declaring these words of God over his crops. He did, we did, and God did. The crops lived, and the flies and their larvae died. The crop-dusting wasn’t even necessary. Not only was the crop saved, but the $25,000 for the costly treatment was, as well. When scriptural principles are followed, the spoken Word is a powerful aspect of intercession. Decrees and declarations need not lead to imbalance or weirdness. However, being biblically balanced does not mean our actions won’t, at times, strain human understanding or reason. It means we stay in the parameters of biblical teaching and the leading of Holy Spirit. Much so-called balance in Christianity is simply a desire to remain within the realm of our human understanding and natural laws. This eliminates the spiritual laws of faith and speaking the Word of God as a spiritual weapon. God honors His Word above His very name (see Psalm 138:2; KJV). A person’s name means nothing if his word can’t be trusted. When we consider the Word of God as unfailing and all-powerful, we are giving Him the greatest honor we can give. We’re stating that we know He cannot lie (see Hebrews 6:18), that His Word is eternal (see Isaiah 40:8), and that He can be trusted implicitly. A Roman centurion came to Christ on one occasion, asking Him to heal his servant. Christ said He was willing and offered to go with the man to minister to his servant. The centurion gave a startling response, however: “Lord, I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I, too, am a man under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one, ‘Go!’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come!’ and he comes, and to my servant, ‘Do this!’ and he does it” (Matthew 8:8-9). This man understood the authority of God-inspired words and declarations. Jesus did give the command, and the servant was healed. I recall a challenging situation I faced several years ago in which demonic spirits were obviously involved. Great anger and strife had arisen in a family, and a strong possibility existed that the next day, this family would be torn apart for years, if not forever. I prayed late into the night about this very volatile situation, asking God to intervene. After a couple of hours of prayer, I clearly heard Holy Spirit say, “Use your authority and speak the Word!” I began to aggressively declare Scriptures Holy Spirit brought to my remembrance, making decrees based upon them. It went something like this: “Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall injure you” (Luke 10:19). “Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4). I declare that God has given me authority over the spirits involved in this situation. Holy Spirit in me is greater than any power they can muster. “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exaltheth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:3-5 KJV). I declare that my weapons are fully able to disarm this situation. In Jesus’ name, I tear down the strongholds of the powers of darkness in this family situation. “Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you” (James 4:7). I am fully submitted to God and know that as I speak His Word, the evil forces at work must flee. I command you, demonic powers, to leave this situation in Jesus’ name. I free these individuals from your influence, in Jesus’ name! I probably used a few other verses, as well – this happened 40 years ago – but I’m sure you can understand what I was doing. After 20-30 minutes of this, I felt great peace and went to bed. The following morning, every person involved had experienced a change of heart, and total peace prevailed. The power of God’s Word had been released, overcoming the evil spirits and positively influencing the minds and hearts of the individuals. It just needed to be released. Pray with me: Father, we know that the power which created the universe was released through Your words. Few believers, however, understand the power that can be released when WE speak YOUR words. Increase revelation of this to the body of Christ; arm us with truth. As You do, we pledge to go to a new level of using Your words as the sword of the Spirit. We will speak Your words regarding our personal lives, the lives of others, and our nation. Doing so now, we decree that the wicked will not prosper in our land (Psalm 92:7; 125:3). No weapon formed against Your purposes in America will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), but that which You have spoken – giving the nations to Your Son (Psalm 2) – will manifest in America. We release this in the mighty name of Jesus.   19. https://www.givehim15.com/post/august-1-2025 August 1, 2025 Introduction This week, I felt a strong leading from the Lord to re-emphasize some truths from Scripture that are essential for our success as we represent Christ, but are rarely taught. In today’s post, I want to remind you of the importance and power of speaking God’s words. You can also find the teaching in our Give Him 15 Devotional, Volume One. Today’s title is: Releasing Power “Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted to him. Therefore, I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted to you.” Mark 11:23-24 Today I want to refocus on the number one way we impact the unseen realm of the spirit (“heavenly places”). The answer may surprise you: it is with our words. Whether releasing our faith, the power of Holy Spirit, or warring against satan’s kingdom, the primary way we influence the spiritual realm is through our words. Why? The answer need not be mystical or lead to strange doctrines. The simple explanation for the power of words is that our mouths are the outlets of our spirits. Jesus said, “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks” (Matthew 12:34). Love and blessing in our hearts are released or communicated through our words, as is cursing (James 3:9-10). The faith in our hearts or spirits is also released from our mouths through words (Romans 10:10; 2 Corinthians 4:13). Believe, speak – born again (Romans 10:9)! Believe, speak – mountains of adversity gone (Mark 11:23)! When God’s conditions are met, we speak and the words are infused with His power and life. “How forcible are right words!” (Job 6:25 KJV). Most people are unaware that it is mentioned in the Bible. Job’s word for “forcible” (marats) means “to press.”(1) One of its biblical uses describes a king pressing his seal of authority onto a decree or legal document with his signet ring, making it legally binding, the law of the land. Words seal deals and decree laws. They are powerful, even unto life and death (see Proverbs 18:20-21). The New Testament says we are justified or condemned by them (see Matthew 12:37). Wars are started with words. Love is communicated through words. Instruction and education are shared by words. Deception and confusion are propagated with words. Kingdoms are built with words. People are controlled by words. Lives are shattered and healed through words. Words are the greatest conduit of authority and power in the world. God’s “Let there be” created the world and everything in it. Ecclesiastes 12:11 says, “The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies” (KJV). Nails help us build, construct, assemble, and hold things together. According to this verse, so do words. The Master Craftsman used words to build the earth, the seas, the mountains, and all the other amazing elements and dimensions of creation. Hebrews 1:3 tells us He also holds all of this together by the power of His words and decrees! Luke’s gospel says that even the incarnation -- God becoming human -- was caused by a combination of God’s words and Spirit. When Mary asked how she, a virgin, could have a child, the angel informed her that the power of Holy Spirit would overshadow her and impregnate her with Jesus (1:35). Then he said, “Nothing will be impossible with God” (1:37). This translation of Luke 1:37 doesn’t nearly do justice to the strength of what the angel actually said. The most literal and accurate rendering is: “No word spoken by God is without power.”(2) What an amazing statement this is, and what tremendous ramifications it carries for us. Our all-powerful God infuses transcendent power into His words. They become the carriers of His awesome strength. God also calls His words a sword with which He rules and judges. His declarations not only create and build, they also judge and destroy; they’re both constructive and destructive. Consider the following: “Out of His mouth came a sharp two-edged sword; and His face was like the sun shining in its strength” (Revelation 1:16); “Repent therefore, or else I am coming to you quickly, and I will make war...with the sword of My mouth” (Revelation 2:16; see also 19:15, 21). God’s decrees are not only to bring forth or accomplish something in the present; some are declarations regarding the future. In Isaiah 46:9-10, God says of Himself, “I am God, and there is no one like Me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things which have not been done, saying, ‘My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure.’” He stands outside of time and looks ahead, declares the future, and eventually time catches up to His decree. How preposterous the fools who think they will outwit or overpower Him! When time catches up to a decree God made regarding the future, He often involves us in its fulfillment. We say what He said, echoing His voice on the earth. Job 22:28 says, “You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; and light will shine on your ways.” The first part of this verse could be more literally rendered “You will decree a decree.”(3) We discern God’s will, His decree – what He has determined about a given situation – and decree His decree. Incredible! Then, He says, it will be established. The verse then says that when we decree His decree, it will be “established.” This is the Hebrew word quwm, which means “to rise.”(4) Quwm describes a variety of activities; one lexicon said it is used to depict God’s “creative, saving, and judging action” rising up.(5) Our decreeing the Lord’s Word releases His creativity, His salvation, and yes, even His judgments! I once watched as a minister commanded a young boy’s crooked legs, supported by metal and leather braces, to be healed. As the minister prayed, the air was filled with the sound of joints popping. Muscles and tendons formed, bones became new. The young man, who had never run before, took off his braces and ran around the church. We watched with amazement and awe, and the entire church celebrated with this young man over his creative miracle...which was released through words! I also watched another miraculous healing take place as this same minister prayed for a lady with stomach cancer. He spoke to the cancer, cursing it in Jesus’ name. The woman vomited up the cancer and was completely healed...again, through the releasing of Spirit-led words! I know these stories sound fictional, but in the healing revival of the 1940s, 50s, and 60s, miracles such as these occurred in services across America. Thousands were healed supernaturally. Doctors substantiated these two miracles. I know because the minister was my dad. Our prayer and decree: Father, we release the power of Your words into America. (If you live elsewhere, do this for your nation.) We declare that the earth is the Lord’s – Yours – and the fullness thereof (Psalm 24:1). All of it belongs to You. You are the King of all the earth (Psalm 47:7). All authority on earth belongs to You (Matthew 28:18-19). Yours is the Kingdom and power and glory forever (Matthew 6:10). We declare the release of Your authority over the government of America. You are dismantling the arrogant systems and political forces that have exalted themselves against You. All who have opposed You, along with the strongholds they have built, are being pulled down, and all unrighteous laws they have written will be reversed in the coming season of revival and reformation. Your angels are on the move now to expose and dismantle the evil of unrighteous leaders. Continuing this, today’s teaching brings insight regarding the dual functions we have as we represent Christ here on earth. As believers, we are a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9); all of us are privileged to represent Christ in both His kingly and priestly roles. There is a teaching that has circulated over the past few years in the body of Christ stating that “priests” are those in full-time ministry and “kings” are those in the secular workforce. This is not biblically accurate. All believers, regardless of our vocation, are called to represent Christ in both His kingly and priestly functions. Let’s look at this incredibly important subject. This teaching is also shared in our Give Him 15 Devotional, Volume One. Today’s title is: Understanding Kingly and Priestly Intercession “And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” (Revelation 1:6) “You have made them to be a Kingdom and priests to serve our God; and they will reign upon the earth.” (Revelation 5:10) In the late 1980s, I was having a friendly phone conversation with a seasoned prophet, Chuck Flynn, when he began prophesying to me. One phrase in particular stood out. He said God was going to bring forth “the fresh age of the Melchizedek order” and that I would play a role in it. “What is that?” I asked when he concluded. “I don’t know,” he said somewhat humorously. “But when you find out, let me know.” It took a while..! Fast-forward approximately fifteen years to October 2002. I was praying for America’s Supreme Court when I heard Holy Spirit clearly say, “The church will fully shift the government of America when the prayer movement fully shifts from priestly intercession only to kingly intercession as well.” I suddenly remembered what Chuck had prophesied to me, the dots connected in my mind, and I finally understood “the fresh age of the Melchizedek order.” The Scriptures describe Jesus as a priest “according to the order of Melchizedek” (Psalm 110:4; Hebrews 5:6-10). Melchizedek is first mentioned in Genesis 14, again in Psalm 110, and then in the New Testament book of Hebrews. He was both a king and a priest, and as such, became a picture of Jesus, our King and High Priest. And this is key to understanding the “Melchizedek order.” Old Testament priests primarily represented the needs of people TO GOD; kings, on the other hand, represented the authority of God TO PEOPLE. In His unique role, Christ functions as both. As our Savior, High Priest, Mediator, and Advocate, Jesus represents humankind to God. On the other hand, as King, Christ represents God to humankind. But Christ doesn’t release these functions by Himself. He established a new order. An “order” is not just one person, but a group of people in the same profession or performing the same function. He works through His body, the church. We are His voice, His hands, His feet; what He does on earth, He does through us. Both His kingly authority and His priestly ministry are now administered by Holy Spirit through His people. This is the “Melchizedek order.” We are expressions of Christ in His priestly role, representing the needs of people heavenward. Just as Christ “offered up both prayers and supplications” while on earth (Hebrews 5:7), we also, as priests, “offer up spiritual sacrifices” (1 Peter 2:5). However, not only are we priests, we’re a “royal priesthood” (1 Peter 2:9). Spiritually, we are seated with Christ on His throne (Ephesians 1:20; 2:6), told to reign in life (Romans 5:17), instructed to extend His scepter (Psalm 110:2) and as His Ekklesia, are given keys of Kingdom authority with which to bind and loose, forbid and allow (Matthew 16:19). Just as Christ “decreed” the will of the Father in various situations – pronouncing blessings and curses, casting out demons, healing the sick, even raising the dead – we are told, as Christ’s ambassadors, to do the same (John 14:12). When representing Christ in His kingly authority, we do not petition – we command! Both the priestly and kingly aspects of prayer, the Melchizedek order, can be seen in the model prayer Christ gave us, often referred to as the “Lord’s Prayer” (Matthew 6:9-13): The prayer begins with praise, an obvious example of priestly activity: “Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.” The prayer then shifts to kingly intercession, telling us to command God’s will and authority into situations: “Your Kingdom come! Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” (The verbs “come” and “be done” are both in the imperative tense, making them a command in Greek. In other words, we are not only to request His Kingdom rule and will – we are to decree them into situations for Him. This is kingly, governmental intercession, releasing heaven to earth.) The prayer then shifts back to priestly petitioning, asking for provision, forgiveness, and freedom from temptation. In 1980, I was asked to lead in prayer for a newborn baby with a fractured skull. During a difficult birth, the doctor used forceps and, in the process, fractured the baby’s skull. I began with priestly intercession (petitioning the Lord), but then was led to command healing into this infant’s skull (kingly intercession). I, along with the congregation joining me, decreed that by the redemptive power of Jesus, the baby’s skull was being healed. It happened instantly! Through this miracle, the mother was born again, and the following Sunday, I had the privilege of dedicating this baby to Jesus. The Melchizedek order is arising on the earth. The priesthood of Christ, the church, is offering up the incense of worship and petitions. But as ambassadors of the King, representatives of His Kingdom on earth, we are also issuing heaven’s commands and decrees against the forces of darkness. This is Christ’s “Ekklesia” – legislators, liberators, deliverers, and enforcers. Pray with me: Father, thank You for the honor of being extensions of Christ’s ministry, releasers of His love and Kingly authority on the earth. We ask for more understanding, insight, and revelation regarding this privilege. May we go deeper in humility and higher in authority. It is Your will we want, and only Your pattern can release it. Yours is the Kingdom, power, and glory forever! Today, as priests, we appeal to heaven for Your mercy and grace to be extended to America. Cleanse us from sin and deliver us from evil strongholds. Awaken America to truth and, as the Psalmist prayed, renew a right spirit in us (Psalm 51:10). Cause the revival that has begun to increase and multiply; breathe on the dry bones of America. And as kings, we decree that nothing will stop the reset You have begun. We declare that evil will be exposed as Your light shines in the dark places. We break the power of darkness that covers and hides evil, and release the light of truth to shine into it. We declare that this truth will shine as bright as the noonday sun! You said our government would fully shift when we began operating in both priestly and kingly intercession. We are now doing this. We appeal for – but we also decree – America’s shift! We believe now is the time! We ask and declare all of this in Christ’s name and authority. Amen.   21. https://www.givehim15.com/post/july-30-2025 July 30, 2025 Operating in the Invisible Realm Introduction There are some truths from Scripture that, while essential for our success as we represent Christ, are rarely taught. I feel the need to emphasize a few of them for the remainder of this week. In today’s post, I want to remind us of the reality of the invisible realm of the spirit. I am using portions of the Give Him 15 Devotional, Volume One. Today’s title is: Operating in the Invisible Realm “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places” Ephesians 6:12. The “heavenly places” referred to in the above verse are not often talked about. This is very unfortunate. Let’s look at the following verses: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places. And raised us up with Him and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus, so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.” This sounds like one uninterrupted passage of Scripture, doesn’t it? It is actually five separate verses from Ephesians 1:3, 1:20, 2:6, 3:10, and 6:12. I became fascinated several years ago as I read these verses consecutively, with none of the in-between sections. I realized they really do provide a continuity of thought. In summary, they tell us we have been given everything we need in order to operate in heavenly places; Christ has been given all authority in this realm; we have been seated there with Him in that position of authority; through us, from our position there with Christ, God intends to confront the kingdom of darkness; finally, the last verse describes that evil kingdom, listing its various components. What are “heavenly places”? They do not refer to heaven, God’s home, but to the invisible atmosphere all around us, the spiritual realm. It is the unseen realm of the spirit – invisible yet real, hidden yet very active. Much of what happens on earth is influenced from it; certainly, anything of eternal significance or that regulates the destinies of people and nations is influenced from this realm. However, most people, including Christians, give little thought to this unseen world. Many people, especially in cultures that emphasize higher education and intellectualism, are actually cynical of this dimension’s existence. But the Bible is filled with descriptions and accounts of it. In fact, apart from the invisible realm, there is no God, satan, angels, demons, the fall of humankind, the birth of Christ, redemption through the Cross, miracles, or resurrection of the dead. Yet again, surprisingly, most American Christians live their lives without considering how much this realm affects us, let alone how we can influence it. As I meditated on these 5 verses of Ephesians, God began emphasizing to me that I was not cognizant enough of this invisible realm. It was not a new subject to me. I had been aware of it for many years and realized we could operate in it through our prayers and actions. But Holy Spirit was revealing to me that, even so, I was not as conscious of this dimension as I needed to be. I saw more clearly that in order to be as effective as possible in changing situations on earth, I had to understand more fully how this heavenly realm affected them. Conversely, I also needed a greater understanding of how I could influence the invisible world. Consider the following significant statement: the more we learn to function in the invisible spiritual realm, recognizing and applying its governing principles, the more we can partner with God, positively impact our world, avoid the snares and influence of the evil one, and enjoy the blessings of our salvation.(1) The more I studied this spiritual realm, the more I realized it was central to the Bible’s overall theme – two invisible kingdoms warring for control of the visible world. The following account of the unseen gives us a vivid glimpse: “When the attendant of the man of God had risen early and gone out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was circling the city. And his servant said to him, ‘Alas, my master! What shall we do?’ So he answered, ‘Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.’ Then Elisha prayed and said, ‘O Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.’ And the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he saw; and behold the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. And when they came down to him, Elisha prayed to the Lord and said, ‘Strike these people with blindness, I pray.’ So He struck them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.” (2 Kings 6:15-18 NASB) The invisible forces were there all along – it was just that Elisha’s servant could not initially see them. And so it is with us. We live in a world filled with constant and tremendous angelic and demonic activity. Our natural eyes, however, simply cannot perceive it. If we Christians are going to be effective in prayer, we must acknowledge, understand, and learn to influence the spiritual realm. We must move beyond our fear of criticism and agree with Scripture. Jesus is our example, and He frequently dealt with the invisible. He was aware of it and consistently engaged unseen entities, stirring up demonic opposition everywhere He went. The early church in Acts did so as well, confronting forces of darkness and addressing them when appropriate. We are inconsistent if we confess to be Bible-believing followers of Christ and yet refuse to acknowledge and deal with the invisible kingdom of darkness. Failure in this area hinders us greatly. Pray with me: Father, increase our understanding of the spiritual realm and how it influences the natural realm. Give us understanding of how to impact this dimension and extend Your Kingdom influence from it into our natural world. We ask for a greater revelation of how to release the victory of Christ into the earth in order to change nations, cities, and people. Make us more conscious of the invisible realm where much of what occurs on earth is determined. We pray that anointed teachers will be raised up to skillfully teach on this subject, so that with the tools You give us, we can operate in this invisible realm with balance, skill, and accuracy. And as we do so often here, we ask You for, and thank You in advance, for sending the greatest spiritual awakening/revival ever to the nations of the earth. We pray that entire cultures and people groups would be swept into Your family. We ask You to break off from them the control of invisible principalities and evil spirits, freeing them to see truth and receive Your love and provision. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. Executive Orders began flowing out of Washington immediately to undo all Trump had done to stop illegal immigration. This plan to flood the nation with potential Democrat voters was launched and became Biden’s highest priority. Millions were wanted – there would be no time for vetting. A few thousand gang members, murderers, rapists, pedophiles, and terrorists coming in with the millions of other illegals would just have to be accepted, as would the hundred thousand or so annual fentanyl related deaths. When you stack up 400,000 deaths over four years against 20 million potential votes…no contest. And so a conscienceless president and his soulless party went to war on America. There would obviously be many practical issues to address in facilitating this invasion and vote-buying. The illegals would need housing, food, flights, buses, phones – all would want phones, monthly support, government workers to oversee all of this, etc. It would cost hundreds of billions of dollars. No problem – the taxpayers would cover it. Then, of course, there would be the unaccompanied children. There would be many hundreds of thousands. What could be done with them? Not to worry – the compassionate, child-loving Biden, Harris, and Mayorkas vote recruitment team had developed a brilliant plan: “We’ll just pay a couple of hundred NGOs and UN agencies (234 to be exact) to deal with them,” they decided. “Those of us at the top will have more important things to do.” And so they did. Allocating six billion taxpayer dollars – that’s billion, with a B – they handed off these pesky little “problems” to a host of organizations, some good, but many of whom were simply money hungry and had no idea what they were doing. What could possibly go wrong? The vetting system for “sponsors” -- those to whom the children would be given – was poor, and keeping track of the children was almost impossible. The result: over the next four years, at least 300,000 kids vanished. Some claim that it was closer to half a million. White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller stated on Fox News that the number is 450,000 and called it unforgivable. Just let that number sink in: 450,000 missing children. Sure, some are no doubt with people who care for them and have simply disappeared in the “system,” but others are without question either in forced labor, sex trafficking, abusive settings, living on the streets, or dead. The vetting of the “sponsors” to whom the children were given was so poor that Ali Hopper, Founder and President of GUARD Against Trafficking, told Congress on July 16 in a House Homeland Security hearing that more paperwork was required to adopt a pet than to become a “sponsor” of one of these children. Well, of course, we can’t let the animals be mistreated; pets deserve love and kindness. We must acknowledge, however, that Mayorkas and his childcare NGOs had a safety net. The kids were given a hotline number to call if they experienced difficulties or mistreatment. But that’s a lot of kids – several hundred thousand. How many phone operators/social workers/child counselors would be assigned to take the potential calls from such a vast number of children? One should do it. Republican members of Congress were stunned, aghast, when Hopper reported that there was only one person assigned to this task, and that between August 2023 and January 2025 (when Trump, Noem, and their team took over), there were 65,000 missed calls. Sixty-five thousand unanswered calls from children in danger, or hungry, or experiencing some sort of trauma, in an 18-month span. Biden, Secretary of Homeland Security Mayorkas, and their associates could have stopped the carnage at any time, but they couldn’t have cared less about these children. I’m not referring to ICE, by the way, but to the Biden administration and the Dems in Congress. When questioned about the missing children by members of Congress, Mayorkas just smiled smugly and allowed the suffering to continue. The vote gathering must go on. Don’t doubt for a moment that Biden and the Dems could have stopped this heinous barbarity. When reelected, Trump had the border closed in days, and his team has located 35,000 of the missing children in only 6 months. This has been a challenging post to research and write. After 2-3 hours of reading and listening to reports, I wanted to hurt someone. I have no words to express the disgust and anger I feel toward all of those who participated in and sanctioned this cruelty. That includes those in the Democratic Party who were complicit through their silence. I am also angry and ashamed over the silent leaders in the church who refused to speak out against this gross wickedness. Regardless of whether they were willfully ignorant, afraid of offending, or believed it was inappropriate to speak about “political” matters, their silence is inexcusable. I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised, however. Those who won’t speak out regarding the murder of millions of babies in the womb or the mutilation of thousands of children’s bodies certainly wouldn’t speak up concerning a few thousand missing migrant kids? Regarding the perpetrators of this tragedy, I know they can be cleansed by the powerful blood of Jesus, as hard as it is to wrap my mind around this reality. If they don’t find true repentance, however, some words spoken by Christ Himself come to mind: “Jesus called a little one to his side and said to them…And if you tenderly care for this little one on my behalf, you are tenderly caring for me. But if anyone abuses one of these little ones who believes in me, it would be better for him to have a heavy boulder tied around his neck and be hurled into the deepest sea than to face the punishment he deserves!” ‭‭(Matthew‬ ‭18‬:‭2,5‬-‭6‬ ‭TPT‬‬) Jesus seemed to be implying that there is a special corner of hell designed for unredeemed abusers of children. Let’s pray for the children. Pray with me: Lord, we often forget that You were once a child and therefore know full well their need for love and security. Joseph and Mary were hand-picked to become Your parents – You would need wise and loving care as a child. Your Word tells us that because You became human, You are touched with the feeling of our weaknesses and needs (Hebrews 4:15). And being all-knowing and ever-present, You know the pain, fear, abuse, and trauma all of these children have and are experiencing. We ask You to give comfort and healing to them. Send angels to aid them. We ask that abuse be discovered and stopped, and that those perpetrating the abuse be brought to swift justice. We ask that wisdom and skill be given to government agencies that are looking for these children. And as they find children in unhealthy situations, please help them locate loving environments in which to place them. And yes, we ask that those behind this evil treatment of the children be brought to justice. And if our system cannot do so, You have promised that You would. The money made harming these children – we ask that You cause it to dry up! Those who “sold” them for votes, may the votes never materialize. We ask that You forgive our nation for this evil. I ask You to forgive leaders in the body of Christ who have refused to speak out against evils in our land. Awaken the conscience of our nation, convict us of our sin, and cause the burgeoning revival and reformation to end the abominations we have and continue to allow. All of this, we pray in the name of Jesus. The letters form pictures and concepts, and the context gives us specific applications. The word paga(1) is a good example: the picture or concept of this word is of two or more entities coming together or meeting. The concept can be applied to various scenarios, including a meeting between two individuals, someone arriving at a location, carrying someone’s burden, striking or hitting an enemy, and more. Anytime two or more things “come together” or “meet,” this is paga. In my books Intercessory Prayer and The Essential Guide to Prayer, I explain how all of these concepts and usages of paga can be pictures of intercession. And indeed, paga is sometimes translated as such. Intercessory prayer creates a meeting between God’s provision and individuals’ needs, allowing us to carry one another’s burdens and strike our spiritual enemy with God’s power. Interestingly, paga is also the word for a boundary or border, the point at which two territories meet or connect. Paga is used repeatedly this way in Joshua 19 to define the boundaries of the tribes of Israel. When applying this picture to prayer, paga is the establishing of boundaries or perimeters of protection. Psalm 91 describes the power of the “secret place” of prayer. Verses1-4 from THE MESSAGE state: “You who sit down in the High God’s presence, spend the night in Shaddai’s shadow, say this: ‘God, You're my refuge. I trust in You, and I’m safe!’ That’s right--He rescues you from hidden traps, shields you from deadly hazards. His huge outstretched arms protect you— under them you’re perfectly safe; His arms fend off all harm.” What a promise! The Scriptures also refer to this protection from God as a tower to which we can run for strength and safety. In biblical times, towers were associated with security, as they provided locations for shooting weapons and offered visibility for watchmen. The following verses referred to this: “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous runs into it and is safe.” (Proverbs 18:10) “For thou has been a refuge for me, a tower of strength against the enemy.” (Psalm 61:3) “The story is told of a missionary experiencing the sovereign protection of God while taking the gospel to an interior region of China. Ruthless bandits along the road had prevented this area from being reached. However, this young missionary went anyway, preaching the Good News of Jesus Christ. He later returned to the base without having seen any bandits. Shortly thereafter, the missionaries heard a rumor circulating throughout the area: the bandits had not attacked the man because an entourage of eleven soldiers had traveled with him. Since he had traveled alone, the missionaries concluded angels must have protected him! But why eleven? “The missionary wrote about this amazing experience to his home church in the United States. His pastor asked when it had happened. Upon receiving the information, the pastor excitedly communicated his part of the story. God had prompted him to call a special prayer meeting for this missionary. When the date of the prayer meeting arrived, the pastor had been disappointed at the poor turnout. That changed, however, after he received the missionary’s amazing report. The pastor was thrilled to tell him, ‘You’ll be pleased to know that, counting myself, there were exactly eleven of us who were praying for you that very day.’”(2) Those eleven faithful intercessors created a wall, a perimeter of protection, around this missionary through their prayers of intercession. Through them, Psalm 91 and Proverbs 18:10 became reality. God wants to do the same through our intercession, building walls of protection around individuals. Isaiah 26:1 and 60:18 refer to God’s protection as “walls”: “In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah: ‘We have a strong city; He sets up walls and ramparts for security.’” “Violence will not be heard again in your land, nor devastation or destruction within your borders; but you will call your walls salvation, and your gates praise.” The apostle Paul was a firm believer in receiving prayers for protection and deliverance from others. He frequently requested prayer from those with whom he was in relationship. Romans 15:30-31 states: “Now I urge you, brethren, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God for me, that I may be delivered from those who are disobedient in Judea, and that my service for Jerusalem may prove acceptable to the saints.” Again, in Philippians 1:19, Paul states his confidence in “deliverance through your prayers.” Also, in Philemon 1:22, he says, “I hope that through your prayers I shall be given to you.” Paul was frequently persecuted and imprisoned for his preaching of the gospel. He placed his hope of deliverance from this in the prayers of his friends. He believed in the power of intercession, not just for the furthering of the gospel, but also for protection. Two well-known ancient strongholds of protection from enemies exist in Jordan and Israel. The city of Petra (Greek for “rock”) in Jordan was virtually impregnable against attack by the weaponry of the ancient world. The original name of Petra was Sela, the Hebrew word for “rock.” The stronghold of Masada, from the Hebrew word metsudah meaning “fortress,” was an incredible natural fortress in Israel, located near the Dead Sea. In Psalm 31:3, David uses both of these pictures, saying of God, “You are my rock (sela) and my fortress (metsudah).” God is our Petra and our Masada! A man who has been a spiritual father in my life for over 40 years, Jim Hodges, texted me after reading Friday’s post. He said that while reading it, he felt from Holy Spirit that Attorney General Pam Bondi, Director of National Security Tulsi Gabbard, and Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem needed increased prayer for protection. These three women currently find themselves on the front lines of the Trump administration’s actions and are hated by radicals on the Left. I concur with Jim, of course. We should pray for protection for all of those in government, but today we’ll do so specifically for these three women. It would be great if, for a season, some of you would add them to your daily prayers. Pray with me: Father, we live in perilous times. Satan, whose mission is to steal, kill, and destroy, is on a rampage. We are thankful that we can look to You as our rock and fortress, our Petra and Masada (Psalm 31:3). You are our strong tower (Psalm 18:10). You rescue us from hidden traps, shield us from deadly hazards…Your huge outstretched arms protect us – under them we are perfectly safe (Psalm 91:1-4). We declare that our homes are like impenetrable cities, surrounded by spiritual walls of angelic protection. We also pray this over Pam Bondi, Tulsi Gabbard, and Kristi Noem. We ask you to protect them and their families from evil (Matthew 6:13). Surround them with angelic guards and shelter them in Your “secret place” of protection (Psalm 91). We pray for President Trump and his team, our congressional leaders, judges and justices, as well as state and local leaders. Surround them with protection. Uncover demonic plots to harm them; expose terrorists and their plans in our nation. Give those in authority supernatural help and success in finding the enemy. Protect our law enforcement individuals as they deal with criminals. We pray against false evidence that is fabricated to accuse and destroy innocent leaders. We ask You to expose all lies and corruption, and vindicate the righteous. We thank You for all of this and ask it in the name of Yeshua. Amen. It has always sprung from a desire for righteous, God-honoring, and pro-life policies – “righteousness exalts a nation” (Proverbs 14:34). I knew by revelation from Holy Spirit the unrighteousness and devastation that was about to be unleashed on America when both Obama and Biden became presidents, and grieved tremendously over what I saw coming. Sadly, I was right. Thankfully, I also had a word from the Lord regarding revival and America’s recovery, with which to keep my faith anchored. In January of 2021, a week after Biden was inaugurated, I released the following comments in an attempt to ward off discouragement and keep intercessors motivated: Taken from Post of 1/28/21 “Do I believe God will continue to use Donald Trump? Absolutely. Do I believe Holy Spirit will continue to expose degeneracy and corruption in our nation? Absolutely. However, we must be diligent in keeping our focus on God’s big picture and plan. My goal and assignment in prayer was and is to see America turn back to God and fulfill her spiritual destiny. Though God is absolutely answering our prayers, He is not doing so as we thought or hoped He would. His plans and goals, however, remain unchanged. We must now adapt to His new strategy. “…[Our prayers] were not in vain. In fact, they have positioned us for His next phase of recovery. We, like David, have called upon the God of Breakthrough and we will not turn back. Like any good fighter, He sometimes allows the enemy to land an insignificant blow, just to set him up for a knockout punch. I assure you that regarding the strategy for America, God is far ahead of satan. And now that the church is praying, the strategy will be unleashed. Stay engaged and get ready for the ride.” Now fast forward four years. The “degeneracy” and “corruption” I spoke of are indeed being exposed. Four months ago, on March 4th, I released the following regarding this: Taken from Post of 3/4/2025 “Over the past couple of years, at least three words from the Lord have been given to trusted individuals that speak of God exposing incriminating ‘files’ in our government. This may or may not refer to actual files; more than likely, it simply refers to proof of corruption, regardless of the form in which it is found. “In January of 2024, Gina Gholston was given a dream by Holy Spirit (which I included in a post) in which people were frantically attempting to shred files in the White House. These people were stopped before they could do so, and were arrested.” From the Same Post “In July of last year (2024), our friend Shirley Strand was given a vision regarding files: Here is a portion of what she said: ‘I saw government file cabinets in D.C. and elsewhere. They were flung open, and multiple documents were flying out…God is exposing, big time. The Lord spoke to me and said, ‘The cup of evil is full. Now I will stand up and deal with these people – I gave them time to repent, and they would not.”’ “The phrase ‘the cup of iniquity is full’ relates to Genesis 15:16, where the Lord promises Abraham the land of Canaan a second time. In this declaration, God said that He would wait, however, until the sins of the Canaanites reached a level mandating their judgment. God knew this level of sin was coming, yet in His justice, He waited until it had occurred. In Shirley’s vision, Holy Spirit stated that ‘The cup of evil was full’ for many in our government. From My Brother Tim Lastly, in 2022, my brother, Tim Sheets, had a dream involving files, which he knew represented the uncovering of corruption in our government. Tim said: “I saw a very old, gray file cabinet, maybe four feet high. I somehow knew it was owned or was associated with a prominent American family. This file cabinet was filled to capacity, full of folders. Two men were flipping through the files, obviously looking for something. When they had looked through every file in the top drawer, they shook their head, not finding what they were looking for. They did the same with all four drawers, but still couldn’t find what they were searching for. “Then, one of them said, ‘Let’s just take all the folders out of all the drawers. Let’s empty this file cabinet.’ And they began removing all the files, stacking them up. As they did so, the man said, ‘Well, look here; there are files lying flat at the bottom of the drawers. They must have been hidden by all these other files that were upright.’ “They pulled out the hidden files lying flat in the drawer, and shortly thereafter, one of them held up a file and declared, ‘Here it is. This is what we’ve been looking for.’ “At that point in the dream, the scene shifted, and the file cabinet transformed into a large computer with an extra-large screen. As I viewed the screen, an image appeared and filled the screen. The image was of a long line of dominoes, in the shape of an ‘S.’ I knew it represented a snake. And as I watched, the last domino of the ‘snake’ began to slowly tip until it fell against the next domino. And of course, one after the other, all the dominoes began to fall, until the head was eventually knocked down. “I believe the significant uncovering of corruption mentioned in these dreams and visions has begun, and is about to reach a new level of accomplishment.” (End of Tim’s dream)(1) The Files Are Being Found Our Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, has found the files, and the dominoes are starting to fall. Many of us have known for years that the Russia story regarding Trump was a lie, and liars Obama, Hillarious, along with their lying, crooked cronies, fabricated it. Now there is proof, including the fact that Obama initiated it. This is the most heinous crime in America’s governmental history, undermining an American president, interfering with our elections, subverting the will of the American people, and has continued for nine long years…all while they pretended to be the DEFENDERS of democracy! I don’t know if these crimes will be treated as such, but they are most certainly treasonous. Complete faith in America’s government overall, and our justice system in particular, will never be fully restored until the perpetrators are brought to justice. Pray that this occurs. Pray with me: Father, Founder John Adams was right when he said, “Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any others.”(2) We have seen this proven in our day. Only You can right this ship, and You are doing so. You have protected and preserved the evidence that will expose significant evil and corruption in our government. We ask You to now tip the dominoes until the head of the serpent is destroyed. The perpetrators believed they had covered their tracks and buried the evidence, but You preserved the “files.” You have given individuals much time to repent; they have chosen instead to persevere in their evil ways. Many cups of iniquity are now full (Genesis 15:16). We ask You to continue revealing the evil – EVERYTHING that has been hidden. We pray that wisdom, skill, and supernatural help will be given to those responsible for discovery and prosecution. Bring forth whistleblowers with more evidence and protect them. Lead individuals to the right files, and deliver us from this evil. Please also give wisdom and revelation to our leaders as they reform. Give them “insight with understanding” as the angel Gabriel gave Daniel (Daniel 9:22). Use them to restore our education system, government, economy, and military. Through revival, restore our homes, churches, and morality. Make us a model of virtue, a light to other nations once again. In Christ’s name we pray, amen. But it was through the shining forth of Your radiant presence and the display of Your mighty power. You loved to give them victory, for You took great delight in them.” (Psalm 44:3 TPT) In 2 Samuel 5:17-25, the Philistines decided to wage war against King David, attacking him in the Valley of Rephaim, which fittingly means “the valley of giants.” David sought God for the battle plan, implemented it, and defeated the Philistines in that valley. He renamed the place Baal-perazim, which means “the master of breakthrough,” stating that God had broken through his enemies for him. The Philistines, however, decided to attack David again, doing so in the same manner and place: the same enemy, same battlefield, attacking with the same strategy. One would think David might be tempted to use the same strategy he had previously used to defeat them. But he inquired of the Lord regarding this, and God said, “No. You shall not go directly up; circle around behind them and come at them in front of the balsam trees. And when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, then you shall act promptly, for the Lord will have gone out before you to strike the army of the Philistines,” (Verses 23-24). David obeyed this strategy and prevailed once again. The “Master of Breakthrough” is also the “Master Strategist.” On another occasion, when Israel desperately needed water, Moses sought the Lord and was told to strike a rock with his staff; he did so and a river of water gushed forth (see Exodus 17:6). However, at a later time when Israel again needed water, God’s strategy was for Moses to speak to the rock in order to bring forth water (Numbers 20:8). That seems strange. Why speak to a rock? Because through the smitten rock that produced a river, God was producing a “type” or a picture of Christ (1 Corinthians 10:4), who would be “smitten” at the Cross. Christ, however, would obviously only be sacrificed once (Hebrews 7:27). After that, we would receive His living water by faith. Moses disobeyed, striking the rock as he had done previously. This produced the needed water, but God was very angry with Moses for messing with His picture of Christ’s redemption. So much so, in fact, that Moses was severely disciplined. Strategies change. If we are going to partner with the Master of Breakthrough and defeat the spiritual giants in our land, it is critically important that we listen to Holy Spirit and obey the Master Strategist. He will prepare a table before us in the presence of our enemies, as He did for David, but can only do so as we listen and obey. When considering this, I often think of “the sons of Issachar, men who understood the times, with knowledge of what Israel should do” (1 Chronicles 12:32). Although I mentioned it in a recent post, the principle it contains is vital and cannot be overstated. “Understood” is the Hebrew word biyn,(1) which is actually a mix of wisdom and revelation. The Issachar leaders possessed a unique blend of wisdom – that which is learned over time, and revelation – that which is received spontaneously by the Spirit. Through this unusual mix, they could discern times, timing, and what to do regarding the time – what, when, and how. David relied heavily on Issachar when at war (1 Chronicles 12:1, 32, and 38). Biyn is also what Solomon possessed. Most think of him as having wisdom, and he did, but Solomon asked for and was given more than just wisdom in order to function in his governmental role. He asked for biyn (1 Kings 3:9), which, again, is both wisdom and revelation. The margin of my Bible says he asked for “a hearing heart.” Another government leader, Daniel, was given biyn to help him lead (Daniel 9:22-23). In verse 22, the angel Gabriel said, “I have now come forth to give you insight with understanding (biyn)” (NASB). What a phrase – insight with understanding! May God give us leaders today with this special grace. This help from heaven is how we overcome spiritual giants, turn chaos into order, replace darkness with light, and transform nations. Transforming a nation is a complex process: personnel must be replaced, paradigms held by millions of people must shift, many systems must be changed, and where America is concerned, much corruption must be exposed and overcome. This is why it is so critical that we pray for our government leaders, asking that God would bless them with His wisdom and strategies. The battle that is underway for the soul of America is far greater than securing freedom, liberty, and prosperity only for our nation. It is, without question, connected to the cause of Christ around the world. This obviously means that satan and his forces are working feverishly to stop what God is doing. I can assure you that the spiritual warfare over Washington, D.C. is fierce. We must lift up our leaders daily, praying for their strength and protection, and for God’s wisdom and revelation to be imparted to them. No human has enough understanding to fully accomplish what is needed. None. As Solomon said in verse one of Psalms 127–yes, he wrote this Psalm, not David: “Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.” Pray with me: Thank You so much, Father, for what You have begun in America. You are restoring our nation, enabling us to recover all. The “Appeal To Heaven” has been restored, the great reset has begun, the covenant well of Cape Henry is now open, and the Liberty Bell is ringing once again with Christ’s jubilee promise. You have promised to save America, and You are doing so. Now Lord, as we move into this next phase of Your strategy, revival and reformation, motivate intercessors to stay engaged. As we do so, help us grow in our understanding of Your ways – teach us to pray at higher levels of authority and deeper levels of wisdom and revelation. We ask You to bring forth the Ekklesia Christ spoke of in Matthew 16: “I will build a Church that the gates of hell cannot prevail against.” Bring forth THAT church! We pray for our government leaders, just as Paul prayed for the church in Ephesus: give them the spirit of wisdom and revelation (Ephesians 1:17). Download to them–through their thoughts, Your Word, dreams, wise counsel: divine strategies, timing, and ideas. Keep them from mistakes and wrong decisions. Show them how to remove corruption, even if it is entrenched, and establish justice. Don’t allow enemies of truth to take righteous leaders by surprise or outmaneuver them. Guide our godly leaders as You did David, Solomon, and Daniel. As You do, this will give us the needed breakthroughs over spiritual giants in America, and transform our nation back to Your plan and purpose. We ask for this, Father, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
