Al-Haidari pointed out that "there will be discussions and developments for the parliamentary blocs, taking into account all the observations, but so far Al-Sudani is the only candidate for the framework." On Monday and Tuesday, the capital, Baghdad, and other provinces witnessed armed clashes, especially in the Green Zone. The Sadrist movement rejects the nomination of the coordination framework, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, to head the government, and demands the dissolution of the House of Representatives and the holding of early elections, while the framework adheres to forming a government after it has become a majority following the resignation of the current representatives from Parliament. Disagreements between the Iraqi forces have prevented the formation of a government since the last elections were held on October 10, 2021.
