Remember, no one really knows what will happen, or when. They're simply stating their opinions based on what they perceive to be happening in Iraq... RON *** Frank26 [Iraq boots-on-the-ground bank report] FIREFLY: Bank friend doesn't know [the new rate] but his opinion is we won't see a recent rate when the change comes... FRANK: A "recent rate" - 1200...we won't see those rates. FIREFLY: Because when the change does come there is way too much being counted on this new rate and much is needed to be done to go back to the 'recent rate' of 1200...these are exciting times and they are almost upon us... *** Mark Article: "THE SADRISTS ARE NOW TALKING ABOUT A FORMULA FOR A PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM, NOT A PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM" [Reference Mnt Goat's morning post below] This is huge news coming out of Iraq. They want to move to a system similar to ours where a majority can move forward without a complete concensus. How often can you get everyone to agree on everything…not gonna happen. They need to run with a majority. I am still hearing a resolution could be moments away, if not days away…We had hoped for a resolution last Saturday and then Monday…it’s fluid as we watch it play out. I do not think they are kicking the can…its just a process that is playing out. *** Mnt Goat Article: "THE SADRISTS ARE NOW TALKING ABOUT A FORMULA FOR A PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM, NOT A PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM" This is one of those WOW! moments in history of Iraq...I have been saying this now since the election began that they needed to get out of this parliamentary system as the corrupt use it to their own purposed to circumvent democracy...Sadr wants a majority government but what has changed now in the tone on Iraq is that they are now FINALLY calling for the necessary constitutional changes to make this happen. WOW! Finally!... It is all very good for Iraq!!! (Reposted Ref Mark above)
Remember, no one really knows what will happen, or when. They're simply stating their opinions based on what they perceive to be happening in Iraq... RON *** Tivon Dissolution puts in place constitutional legislation that the EFSL is based on. Which gives Al-Kazemi full powers to enact laws put on the back burner...the Oil & Gas Law can be passed with a transitional government. We don't care about the IMF/UN...They can not dictate what goes on in the country... *** Kaperoni ...Mtn Goat keeps talking about the delete the 3 zeros project. We don't want that to happen, that's a currency exchange LOP. *** Frank26 [Iraq boots-on-the-ground bank report] FIREFLY: Talked to many bank friends and all of them are saying the rate has been changed on their side so to speak just not known to the public until a government has formed. FRANK: What he means is a second set of books that they can't see. FIREFLY: We don't know if it's going to go back to 1200 or to a rate 1 to 1 internationally but we will know after the government is seated. Sadr says we have made our point. *** Tivon [Response to Humble1 Noontime] ...It needs to be clear who is officially running the country. Dissolution will make that very apparent...We as investors do not want a the new government...We want an interim which can give us a rate before they sit the new government after the transition period is over... *** Pimpy For people asking how this [Iraqis protesting] is going to affect our investment it's obvious. If they can't get things settled down. If they can't even form a government and they can't open new avenues of revenue away from oil they're putting themselves in a really bad position and you're not going to see any rate change happen anytime soon until this gets cleared up...
