  1. He placed one scoop of clay upon another until a form lay lifeless on the ground. All of the Garden's inhabitants paused to witness the event. Hawks and Eagles hovered looking down, Giraffes stretched their heads, trees bowed and Butterflies paused on petals and watched. God turned to all and said you will love me always, for I made you that way, Universe, you will obey me for you were designed that way. All of you will reflect my glory, but this new creation will be like me. This one will be able to choose. All of creation stood in silence and gazed upon the lifeless form and the creator reached inside himself and removed something yet unseen. He pulled it out and held it up and said, "This is the seed of choice, it gives them free will to choice". An angel standing off a little distance walked up and said, "But what if he chooses not to love?. God smiled and said, " Come with me and let me help you understand what I am doing." Unbound by time they walked through several centuries, now look at the fruit of the seed of choice, it is both sweet and bitter. The angel gasped at what he saw, Spontaneous love, voluntary devotion, chosen tenderness. He felt the love, he saw creation sharing burdens and helping one another over and over again. The angel looked at God and said, " I have never seen such out pouring of love as this". Truly this is your greatest creation for this one. Ah, but you have just seen the sweet, now witness the bitter side. A stench enveloped the both of them as the angel turned in horror. "What is this", Selfishness, Pride, Hatred. The angel stood speechless as they passed through centuries of repugnance. Never had he seen such filth, rotten hearts, Ruptured promises, Forgotten loyalties, and this is the seed of free choice, "said the angel". Yes, well they will forget you? Yes and they will reject you? Yes, And they will never come back, some will, some won't. What will it take to make them listen?. The creator took the angel by the hand and walked on through time, further and further into the future until he stood by a tree, a tree that would be fashioned into cradle. He could even smell the hay that would surround him. The angel followed as they stepped further and further into time until he stood at the trunk of a tree, a wide strong trunk with strong wood. God said one day this will be cut and stood up on another hill and there they will hang me on it. The angel stood there In silence and then said, "is this the only way and God said, it is", then the angel stood for a moment and said, " Wouldn't it be easier to not plant the seed and not give them a choice for all that evil". It would be, but if I remove the choice then love would also be removed also then the world would be ruined. All of Heaven heard this and they drew their swords to fight, All of nature rose to rescue, all of eternity was poised to protect its creator, but the creator gave no command as they watched. "It must be done, he said, for this is the only way that my creation will have forgiveness". As the angel stood there looking at his creator on that tree, he heard a cry, MY GOD, MY GOD why have you forsaken me, and the angel stood there in silence. The angel said isn't there another way with less hurt to suffer and God said, "The it wouldn't be love". They then returned to the lifeless body laying before them and God bent down and blew the breath of life in him and then called him Adam. Then God turned to the angel and said, this one and all who follow after will have the seed of choice to choose good or bad, bitter or sweet and when their life's are over they will come before me and I will open the book of their life and they will be judged accordingly for eternity.
