All of this is because Hakim would not grant immunity to Maliki,s list. So Maliki is hanging in and with the immunity coming to a close he is a freight train heading to a brick wall. He cannot win and this will not take months tlar TLAR: I am in Cozumel checking in twice a day. The news has been great. This thing is coming to a head as we edge closer to June 15th. The way to get rid of him overnight is for the SOL to pull his nomination. Either they do it quickly or as a party they are done. If they hold their position M will be rejected and then he is done. The genius of this man and his thoroughness is amazing. They must have had many strategy meetings to have covered all the holes. tlar TLAR: Here is a shocker for everybody. There is a good chance the SOL will try to by pass Hakim and make a deal with CHALABI FOR IMMUNITY. IF IT COMES TO PASS THE SOL WILL PULL MALIKI AND NOMINATE CHALABI FOR PM. TLAR TLAR: Once parliament meets it will either be over because the sol has made a deal with chalabi or hakim or maliki will be voted out in the first round. At that time the sol will be out of a bargaining chip if they let it go that far. My guess is before weds of next week the sol will dump maliki and choose chalabi as the nominee in order to salvage something out of this deal. Then you will see a scramble to the borders. TLAR: Not likely but he may do it to get everyone on the same path. Chalabi hates M with a passion but he wants to have this over as do we. So he may make a deal with the leaders of the SOL exposing the big fish to no immunity. Soon the SOL will act everyman for himself. Either way Maliki is toast. He can not use his army. The US imbedded 1000s of soldiers under the guys of terrorism just before the elections. His newspapers and TV station have lost all credibility. Hakim has political filled all the holes so there is no way out for M. The international community will bring charges of genocide as soon as the Iraqis settle this.
