The spokesman for the Ministry of Planning, Abdul-Zahra Al-Hindawi, said in a statement to the official agency, which was followed by "NAS" (April 23, 2022), that "the job number project will limit fake employees and double salaries," noting that "the Ministry of Planning continues to work on the job number project for Iraqi state employees, and we have entered until Now 3 million and 86 thousand employees are on the platform." Al-Hindawi stressed that "work is continuing to complete the full number on the platform before next July, because as of this month, salaries will be linked to this platform," noting that "employees who do not have data on it will stop their salaries until it is completed." He added, "The job number project will link the platform with the unified card to benefit from the biometric data of the employees," noting that "there are still more than 500 thousand employees in the Iraqi state who have not obtained the unified card, and there is high coordination between the Ministry of Planning and the Interior to grant special facilities to employees who do not have access." on her". He added, "Completing the national card for this number of employees will allow the completion of the biometric job number platform, and this gives a very important database for employees and greatly serves development." Earlier, Al-Hindawi stressed that "the job number is of great importance to address many problems in the functional body, as it will give a clear picture for the government to draw future policies and know the size of financial expenditures at the level of the coming years and the nature of knowledge of the specializations and experiences in state institutions." He continued, "The project will be linked to the issue of salary disbursement, meaning that after the completion of the job number platform, salaries will be released through this platform, where the Ministry of Finance will notify the institutions to release salaries through it." The Cabinet, earlier, took two decisions regarding the job number. The council's media office stated, in a statement, that "the council agreed to oblige all lagging government institutions to provide the Ministry of Planning with the data required to complete the unified job number according to the planned schedule." The statement added, "Salaries are paid to the number of employees installed in the Ministry of Planning in the job number database, as of July 1, 2022, and the defaulters are held accountable."
