The meeting witnessed a discussion of the current state of electricity, the ongoing preparations to provide electric power, and proactive measures to address the problems and obstacles that may impede increasing production and cause a potential crisis in the summer, according to the statement, which added that the meeting touched upon mechanisms of communication with the Iranian side, regarding the provision of Iranian gas. . In this regard, Al-Kazemi directed assigning a working team from the Ministry of Electricity to travel to the Islamic Republic of Iran, to solve problems related to the Iranian side regarding supplying Iraq with gas. The Prime Minister directed the need to take practical steps by overcoming all obstacles facing production, transportation, distribution and maintenance operations.
