I agree completely with everything you said. I am a newbie, but in the last few days I have started to post the same thing several times and each time have held off making the post until I got more familiar with the "tone" of the members. I wrote my son in law a long email saying the same thing two days ago. Simply, U.S. has too much to lose to not get good RV and Obama, with his low approval rating, will go on TV and take responsibility for "paying for the Iraq war" -- too many things happening all at once that support your analysis -- thanks for the post, we should know by March 1.

I agree over $1. Two primary reasons -- 1) the Iraqi people will feel a sense of pride if their Dinar is valued higher than a U.S. dollar and 2) reportedly the U.S. Treasury has over 7 trillion IRQ and they no doubt have some degree of influence over the RV rate. The higher the better for the US; helps pay for the war and gives Obama something to claim success for at a time when his approval rating is low: "I did this, I paid for the Iraq war".
