  1. Yes I know! But if you just go to the site http://www.Iraq.alloexpat.com with out the marketplace/classifieds behind it and look in the bottom corner it does not show that.
  2. Just went to the site and it says 1USD = 1171 IQD
  3. Sorry, doesn't work that way! First of all the IMF doesn't care who makes what off of what! They only look at what crountrys can back or support in the global market.' His theory would be like saying ford doesn't want to increase their stock value bc they are afraid if they do before gm does then people will cash out and go buy gm stock and make money off both of them...... Wow people have way to much time on their hands to come up with this stuff.
  4. I'm going to hold my breath untill it happens Well that didn't work....lol
  5. Do you think he means next year like 2011 or could he be talking fiscal year? Don't they start a new fiscal year pretty soon. I don't know just a thought.
  6. Both links go to the same site, so it is just one site that is down
  7. Is it just me or does his math not add up If I have 100billion dinars and I use that 100billion dinars to purchase meaning buy 207billion dinars then all i have is 207billion dinars not 307billion dinars???? so it would make the rate more around 2.28-2.30. Again maybe I am just not understanding his wording, but if you use something to purchase something, you lose what you used and are only left with what you purchased. Either way Go RV.

  9. Enorrste... haha first off thanks for the jab.. lol I like your article an i believe you to be a stand up guy and always base your intel off actual news which i like. All i was really trying to get across was that until it happens we really will never know what they are going to do... That we can read articles and pull out the parts and then try to put them all together... But realistically all of the information above has come from news articles...again which is fine...( its not my friend said this or i heard this.. you have news articles to back it up) But... Until it RV's... And believe me i think it will... we really won't know how it is going to happen or when or even how they are going to do it... b/c no matter how much info we get from the news or try to pull out of articles... it really is all just speculation on till it happens. Again... I love reading you post.. and seeing your point of view on things... I was just wanting to get across that until it happens no matter what we see or hear... is just speculation. Thanks again
  10. I was just using it as an example... What i was getting at is The Iraqi government does not have to give us a laid out plan as to what will happen... nor will they. I was just pointing out that the "US military might say... hey we are going to attack a city tomorrow.... but what they don't do is say... we are going to come from the east and the west with... x amount of peoople... at x time... etc" Nor will Iraq.... Iraq will not come out and say we are going to rv... this is how we are going to do it... this is why we are going to do it... etc... Another thing is.... You have to ask yourself why?... Why would Iraq out of the blue just start talking about their currency... exchange rate... etc It just doesn't make sense.. if you really set back and look at the big picture Thanks for you opinion.
  11. Ok... I personally do not believe all of these new articles coming from... CBI, IMF, etc... on them explaining to the public what they plan to do... "managed float"... "keep the rate the way it is"...etc. Why would they come out to the public and start talking to them about the exchange rate at random. Then go even a step further and tell them what they plan to do with rate and how they plan to manage it. When really the people of Iraq are not worried about their exchange rate or how they are going to manage it... The only people who really care are the investors, other countries, or big companies. But out of no where you start seeing article after article talking about there plans with there currency coming out of iraq. Really the only people they have to explain anything to is The Investors, Other countries and Big companies.. Also if they really are going to explain how they are going to do it... then all anyone has to do is just sit back and wait until the very last moment and buy up as much as they can.....It would be like the united states telling everyone just how they were going to invade another country...time, date, what type of weapons they were going to use.....IT WOULD BE JUST STUPID.. First and foremost the public does not deserve to know all of the information on how the government going to war... all we normally get is " We are going to war and this is why" I just feel like we need to sit back and really look at the articles and ask ourselves WHY???? WHY would they feel like they need to explain what they are going to do with there currency to anyone... let alone their people... If they are not planing on doing something right now... "It is like a company saying we are planing on doing layoffs in 10 months..." All of the people at the company would be in a constant state of terror wondering on whether on not they will have a job in 10 months. I THINK ALL OF THE ARTICLES ARE NEGATIVE PROPAGANDA AND THAT WE CAN NOT TRUST ANYTHING THAT THE IRAQI NEWS PUTS OUT.... CBI... IMF... ETC. It is going to happen and when it does it will just happen. They are not going to explain to the world what they are doing... they don't have too.. and they wont. JMO
  12. I think what they mean when they say 25000 iqd = 25 usd.. by the time you pay their service fee.. it ends up being 1 to 1... jmo
  13. I thought netinfo was from iraq ... and i think MESHA said her husband can translate
  14. Thank you for your info... we appreciate it and if you hear anything else don't hesitate to post again.
