  1. The saddest thing is that he will never be held accountable for any of the lies he makes by the low-information voters and the lap dog media. And he knows it. He can lie with a straight face which ought to be a chilling wake up call to Americans with any moral compass.
  2. Sounds like a guy who doesn't know what he's talking about to me....
  3. Yup, that's the expiration of the DFI Standby Agreement. Looks like they'll blow through that too.
  4. Checked your coinmill link. It shows 1 IQD = approx. .00086 USD This is generally consistent with where the IQD has been for the last few years. This also agrees with the CBI rate shown at 1166 1164 IQD/USD. These rates are as of 2-21-2013
  5. It appears that the passage of the budget is pro forma at this time and should be announced "soon". Just in time to beat the expiration of the DFI this Saturday. These are interesting times.
  6. For those of you who cringe at the prospect of having to wade through one of Frank26's rambling diatribes, I'll give you the cliff note version: 1. CBI on 2-19 stated on their site in Arabic to the Iraqi populace that from that date on they can only exchange/withdraw 10,000 USD per month vs. being able to exchange/withdraw up to 50,000 USD per day. 2. Iraqis from now on will have to show a passport to withdraw USD funds vs. an ID previously. 3. Only specified banks (stated three) can do exchanges/withdrawls on specific days of the week. The above restrictions are surely in aid of an impending RV and an enducement for Iraqis to use IQD. That's the gist of Frank's message. He has stated that he will have more info today (2-20).
  7. I've been on this site for three and a half years. While I agree that the general tone on the site has declined somewhat, IMO the reason is different. So many have spent so many days, weeks, months, and year, yes, even years, waiting and waiting, it's no surprise that a lot of us are fed up with the obfuscations, delays, and misdirections. I would suggest that many of us just want it over....and move on with our lives. You can just say, "so just sell out and move on", but intellectually you know it's not that simple or easy. Many of us have invested much time, money, and perspiration in this investment and therein lies the inherent frustration and impatience. It's one thing if you buy dinar and then get impatient after a few weeks that nothing has happened; it's quite another thing if you have waited year after year after year. So, yes, there are a few that perhaps get a bit nasty at times, but I chalk that up to the frustration of something that has such promise getting mired down in delay after delay after delay. And always within the veil of confusing, or lack of, information. Trust me; once the RV takes place (be it a float or flat -out RV) all of this will be forgotten as we all move on with our lives and good fortune. IMO,the bottom line is that the reasons that we all originally got involved with this investment still are as bright and promising as ever. We just want it to happen......once and for all.
  8. I don't doubt that most all of the allegations against O are true, however IMO, they will never touch him as he is viciously defended and supported - at all costs- by the mainstream media. If not, he wouldn't be president today. Who else could hold the office of president for four years shirking leadership, never governing, taking accountability for big decisions, and cruising through his term pitting sides against each other while de facto voting "present" and essentially being MIA on critical issues. The fact that this could happen is a national disgrace.
  9. It is like the vanishing horizon....always over the next hill.......and the next.......and the next
  10. Wow, I dreamed that you dreamed that you took a rate and ran, and I ran at a great rate. Call it coincidence, or simply quantum wierdness at a distance. An RV could stop all of this.
  11. Encouraging news, except for the dreaded reference to "the coming days".
  12. This guy is apparently very smart and writes articulately (yet loosely connected to reality), however, his grievances (real or imagined) are no basis for a rational person to take the lives of innocent people. Whatever basis he had for his complaints, he has undone and delegitimized through his murderous actions. He is obviously ready to die and I'm sure he will face final judgement at that time. Perhaps the LAPD will be able to help him along.
  13. Possum...stick to it. You CAN do it, and life after alcohol is so good and clear. Just celebrated 31 years of sobriety.
  14. Don't think for a minute that the fact that the USSR, Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea and all other socialist experiments have been utter failures will deter Obama and his socialist/marxist agenda. He wants a "fairness" (socailist code word for redistribution of income) outcome regardless of the devestating effect it will have on the U.S. He should be viewed and worked with accordingly.
  15. Problem is, all they have is rhetoric and in-action. Don't hold your breath.
  16. Has nothing to do with the IQD.....they're just two kids in love! Lol
  17. Predictable and inevitable. These people are incapable of getting out of their own way.
  18. In the land of the gurus every day is Monday.....and every RV is coming soon, for sure...until it ain't.
  19. In fact, if you go back over his various speeches, edicts, and pronouncements, you will see that his words are almost always 180 degrees from what he does. Watch his actions.
  20. And the grand daddy of all, "no matter where you go, there you are". Deep.
  21. Once again, we're letting pesky facts get in the way of unbridled euphoria.
  22. Tough to find in our increasingly dominated progressive/celebrity culture. IMO, once you take the family and God out of the equation, you are truly slouching toward Gomorrah (apologies to Judge Bork) and one of the first casualties in an "anything goes" society is the relevancy of truth. I only hope the pendelum will some day swing back to personal responsibility and accountability. Surely not with the current crowd in power.
  23. Obama's "low-information voters" are in for a rude awakening when they get their health insurance bills or try to apply for health insurance. Won't bother Obama though, since he and the media will just blame it on George Bush and those awful Republicans. Never ends.
