Absolutely Lyn LaVigne as an author with about ten books under my belt, full half of which were self-publish...the research, the production, the distribution all cost money....and as with yours...the MESSAGE was important....some people need a serious wake up call...or as one wag said....those who can't do and can't teach become CRITICS..... The Servant book was "Verdict on the Shroud", followed by "The Shroud and the Controversy" (Thomas Nelson) and "Image of the Risen Christ" (Frontier Publishing)...working title now is "White Linen & the Blood of Sprinkling" ...haven't identified a publisher as yet... still digesting your paper...thanks..

I will read in depth this evening, but even before I read....1) some of my colleagues have opined that Abgar was called "the Black" because he had leprosy but the Bible says clearly leprosy turned the skin "white".... is there anything in the history that reflects "why" he had that "name" ? 2) again my colleagues refer to the "Doctrine of Addai" which says Abgar sent Jesus a letter asking him to come heal him of some "disease" that Addai came after Jesus' resurrection and came bearing the Miraculous Image of Christ (Image of Edessa) what do you know of that story ??
