  1. I will happily buy your Dinar at $10 per million more than the dealers are paying.

I am not a dealer, I will be buying for my own personal investing.

    Thank you.

    E.G. Dinartrade is currently paying:

$900 per million dinars Uncirculated New Notes

$760 per million dinars Circulated Notes

    I will pay $10 more.

*** follow up - I am no longer buying. In the past years I have purchased as much as I need :twothumbs:

  2. I didn't think anyone could get kicked, booted, whatever, on this site.

99% of the content on this site is still going to be uncensored... but when someone comes in chat pretending to have me or another admin on the phone, or starts spouting vulgarities... that needs to be moderated.

So, although free speech will still reign, idiocy must be dealt with appropriately.

Let me make one official announcement: any mod who ever chooses to boot because of a personal difference with a member, either by belief or personality, will be terminated from the position of moderator. I expect all mods to act with an impeccable degree of fairness.

  3. I bought some dinar last week from 5/3 bank here in Cincinnati, and I'm still waiting for them to come in. I just check my local branch and they were still selling them.

    another post said

I called Safedinar.com on Saturday, 24 October and they said they have dinar in uncirculated 25k notes, although their website still says they're out. I bought 1/2 million and will pick them up from the FedEx hub tomorrow, 27 October. Just FYI

I have a ton of cash, so I haven't bought any recently. I thought 5/3 was still selling though.

Any other banks that we know of?

  4. Regions Bank No Longer Selling IQD as of 10/26/09

I just phoned Regions Bank here in Wilmington, NC. All Regions banks as of today, 10/26/09 have stopped selling Iraq Dinar. They were selling up to this last Friday 10/23/09. She said it was a cross the board corporate decision, not per bank decision.

So what banks do we know of that are still selling?

  5. according to his contact in the cbi, the rv date is nov 1st. seems like theres a leak in the cbi!

I didn't say that. Please don't put words in my mouth - you can be as skeptical as you like, but if you're going to make false claims about me I have a problem with that.

  6. Interesting read. One of the reasons why I became a member of this forum is to find how things will work out for non-US dinarholders. I live in Brazil and I have no idea how the goverment and the banks here think about a RV/RI of the Iraqi Dinar. It is also not clear to me if it will be possible to exchange dinars for Brazilian reais once a RV/RI is there. Once when I was in my bank (Citibank) and asked the man at the counter about this subject he looked at me as if water was burning.

    Anybody has ideas about this?

    Joop.

Might want to post a new thread, I'm not sure what the answer is to your question.

  7. Adam, in your email you said you would love to start sharing stock tips in the message board. I, for one, am all ears. Please feel free to start sharing at any time. Thanks again for all you do.

PS. If I have done this wrong I apologize...1st timer. :o

You did it perfect, SNKHall! Welcome aboard.

I'll be adding to this section as we go along, just trying to get caught up on a ton of stuff right now. Are you invested in the ISX?
