  1. EIGHT YEARS LATER it's still part of your life - that's my point EXACTLY! I love this program, and I'll be on it for the rest of my life in some form or fashion. Thanks for the post, I need to get down to the dungeon and hit those dumbells
  2. That's one of those words that just doesn't look right to me - it looks like it should be pronounced "Sky'd" when you write it that way.
  3. ok, I know I already slacked on my updates.. but now this THREAD is part of my home pages, along with 19 other non-fitness related pages! Seriously, when I open Firefox - my preferred browser - I automatically have about 20 tabs open. 18 of the 20 are dinar related, one is my email, and #20 is "Reply to THIS THREAD". Here we go! Day 3: I was exhausted from the prior day's lack of sleep, and as sometimes happens - life got in the way. I wasn't able to take a full 36 minutes to do a lower body workout, so I switched it with my cardio that would have been on Day 4. I did 3.75 miles on the elliptical in 20 minutes, which is about a 1/4 mile slower than I was at before... no matter, the important thing is I pushed myself and hit a TEN at the end! Day 4: I had a lower body workout to make up for, so I headed for the hills with my daughter and skied (MR PHONICS!!!! WHAT'S THE PAST TENSE OF SKI?!) for 2.5 hours. Tomorrow is Day 5, and I'm back on upper body.. the truth is, I'm already a wreck from this week. The first 3 weeks are always bad, while your body is getting used to it again.... or maybe, for the first time. But hey - no pain, no gain! See you tomorrow. I changed it for you.
  4. let's stop giving Dinar Daddy credit for stuff that comes from other sources. Credit for this post goes to Nemo, not DD.
  5. It WAS from enorste, and the fact that Enorste's request that he be given credit for it was intentionally removed is a testament to the lack of character whoever posted it has. For the sake of the readers here, I'm not mentioning the name of the plagiarist thief.
  6. where.. what... lol. Wow. Jack didn't verify anything about a lop, he only verified the cosmetic change to the bills. Oh, and he verified that it was their article - Jack doesn't work at the CBI, nor does he hold a position in Parliament, nor does he have a desk at the IMF.

  8. You obviously have the wrong impression of this site and the mods here. OP was respectful, just stated his opinion. This site doesn't get paid to sell Dinar, so why would anyone in this thread get banned? Amen, brother.
  9. Also, the quickest way to lose fat is to convert it to muscle. I'll post back later after I do my lower body today... Day 3!
  10. Oh, I should explain the workout routine a little better. It's bad to work one group of muscles too much without giving them a rest, so the routine goes like this: Week 1: Focus on upper body Monday: Upper body (shoulders, biceps, triceps, lats, and chest) Tuesday: 20 minutes cardio Wednesday: Lower Body (calves, hams, quads, abs) Thursday: 20 minutes cardio Friday: Upper Body Saturday: 20 minutes cardio Week 2: Focus on Lower Body Monday: Lower body Tuesday: 20 minutes cardio Wednesday: Upper body Thursday: 20 minutes cardio Friday: Lower Body Saturday: 20 minutes cardio Alternate upper, lower, upper, lower, etc... You'll notice Sunday is left out... That's because Sunday is rest and free day - eat whatever you want, don't exercise not even a tiny bit!!!
  11. Day 2 was yesterday, I swam for my cardio. 22 minutes in a 75 ft pool, swam 31 lengths. I was WRECKED after the last lap, when I surfaced I must have huffed and puffed for a good 2 minutes before I could see straight, and I can only imagine what the people in the hot tub were thinking, watching me almost wheeze and basically blow water and maybe some spit all over the floor at the end of my lane I DEFINITELY hit a "10" on the last two and a half minutes of this one!
  12. Day 1 was Monday. I started off with upper body. I absolutely HATE rows, but as I was doing them... I realized I hate NOT doing them even more than I dislike the exercise. I didn't hit any level 10's, but I broke a good sweat and I'm sorrrrrrrrrre today still. Feels great to be back on the program!
  13. Thanks for the posts already! I figured this would get positive feedback. What is "Body for Life"? Body for Life is not only a diet and fitness gude, it's a way of life. Let me explain: When you first open your Body for Life book, you are introduced to the theory that eating 6 small meals per day is much better than eating 3 meals per day. If your body thinks food is scarce, it stores fat. If your body thinks food is plentiful, then your metabolism raises and you burn fat all day. It's a very simple concept. You are also introduced to the theory of "personal high points". This program can be tailored to any body type, any age, any level of fitness - it revolves around your personal levels. As you go through the exercises, you start out at a "level 5" and push towards a "Level 10". My level 10 might be running at a 7 minute mile pace, your "Level 10" might be a fast walk... it doesn't matter, as long as you can hit your Level 10 at the appropriate point in your workout. That's why this works for anyone! You are also introduced to the "Free Day" theory. The harder you are on yourself, the more likely you are to collapse, give up on a different diet, and fail all together. The "Body for Life" program gives you one day every week where you can eat ANYTHING. 10 gallons of ice cream, 80 deep fried jalepeno poppers in one sitting, a bucket of lard... ANYTHING! This ability to "let loose" and abandon your diet altogether for an entire day each week makes it a HECK of a lot easier to stick with the entire 12 weeks... you're not on a 12 week countdown until you can eat a box of Oreos, you're only 6 days away at the most at any given time! That's the Body for Life program in a nutshell - I highly recommend it, I've had great success with it, and I've encouraged many people to do it... and watched them be successful with it. The first time I did it was after I quit smoking after 10 years. I put on about 25 pounds over the course of 2 months and had to do something. 12 weeks later I was in better shape than I had ever been in my life, and I'm still in better shape than I was before I quit smoking 4 years ago. 4 years, going strong, on the Body for Life principles... I'm living walking talking proof that the system changes you for good. Now... on with my success journal!
  14. Hey all! This is in the Off Topic forum, so don't shoot me for posting something completely unrelated to Dinar. I do have a personal life too, you know! Actually - I don't think it's so unrelated to Dinar. In fact, there are a lot of similarities to Body for Life and the Dinar... most importantly, your interests. Most of us are interested in the Iraqi Dinar for what it can do to improve our lives. When the Iraqi Dinar goes up in value, many of us are going too make a lot of money - and that's awesome! But let me ask you this: If you have a ton of money but you have poor health, how rich are you really? And even if you still consider yourself to be rich, simply because your bank account is full... how "full" can your life be without the good health to enjoy all of your other riches? You see, there are a lot of ways to be "wealthy". I happen to have a "wealth" of good things in my life, including my health. I also work hard to make sure I stay healthy - I exercise 4-6 times per week, I eat healthy meals, and I watch what I put in my body. Don't get me wrong... I love a beer or a cocktail just as much as the next person. I also like to shove some pizza down my gullet once in a while too! Moderation is key, though. If you ever find that you're tired during the day and can't seem to find the energy to do all of the things you want to do... or maybe you remember when you used to have a great outlook on life, and now it's a little bleaker... or maybe you just wish you could take off a couple of those "extra pounds"... YOU CAN! I'm a huge fan of the "Body for Life" program and I tell everyone I know about it. I've completed the program twice now... ... and I'm doing it again! Today is Day 3 for me. So, why am I posting this here? Well, I have two reasons. Number one: I'm a man of my word. When I make a promise, I KEEP IT. This thread is going to be used for my personal motivation to complete it once again - and you are ALL my witnesses! There's simply no way I can start a thread like this and not see it through to the end... so once I click "Post New Thread", I am STUCK! But - in a good way. Number two: I like to think I have a little bit of influence here. (I know, I'm probably just suffering from an over inflated ego, and nobody here really listens to me. ). I am hoping that a few of the members here will see this thread... follow along with me... give me encouragement... and more importantly, get encouraged when you see me sticking to my goals. If I can influence just one person to get healthier, make any kind of improvement in their daily routine, or even give the Body for Life program a shot... I'll have accomplished my goal. In the next post: What is Body for Life?
  15. I think your friend was misguided or mistaken. My book is the only book out about the Dinar that's newer than 2006 - see amazon. I've never even been implicated of any kind of fraud, much less convicted... so I have to guess your friend was mistaken or repeating lies he heard from a competing site, perhaps. Also, I'm not telling anyone to buy anything (other than my book and VIP ), so... I think you're pretty safe with me.
  16. Heck no!!!!! I'd let someone else moderate it if they want to, though.
  17. I know many of our members are deeply religious. I also know that many of our members do not wish to see religious topics. I know that many of our members are interested in politics. I also know that many of our members don't know the first thing about politics! So, with that said - the political and religious forums would be hidden unless you decided to join them. Before I make a seperate place to discuss religion and/or politics, I want to know if you members would welcome it. Please state your opinion and also vote in the poll.
  18. I give Westy props for trying to make a serious thread. My name is Adam Montana, I can spell Dinar, and I approve this thread.
  19. Not really, but you're welcome to your opinion. Keep it respectful, thanks. Yes, the free chat will stay. Thanks Russ. For those that saw something negative with my chat... I'm pretty sure the serious investors are already in VIP, I don't need to promote it anymore, and that's not what I come in chat to do. If I mention it once in a while - well, it's there! I'm not going to pretend it's not!!!! I already know who it is that I want to work with in the future, and it's NOT the people that bought a $30 dinar deal on ebay and then came here to sit and complain about how unfair it is to have a VIP room. Unfair? Maybe. But heck.. life isn't fair, either. I'm simply not opening the doors to every "Hand-Out Harry" and "Kick--Me-Down Katherine" that wants to rush in later after they make their first ten grand - I'm making connections NOW with people that are serious about business. If you're in the VIP room, and I haven't reached out to you yet, and you think I should have reached out to you - send me a PM. I'm out of this thread now, I shared what I could and I'm happy that many of you appreciated it. Those that don't appreciate it... well, life goes on. I'll be back in chat tomorrow, no new news at this time.
  20. this isn't a "dinar rumor", so I'm moving it to Off Topic.
  21. At your request, I've moved your profile to the registered user group. You still have your VIP and chat access, and I thank you for all the help you've given. Being a mod around here is a thankless job at times, and I appreciate your loyalty and hard work to make this place the best it can be. Sometimes we all need a break... and it's usually easier to quit using the phone if you lose it, easier to quit smoking if you don't have cigarettes, easier not to participate in moderator or dinar sites if you don't have access to the control panel. I understand why you requested it, and I don't blame you if that's where you're at. If you ever want to be part of the mod team again, let me know. I do hope you pop in and post still. You're a great part of the DinarVets community! Thanks Steve.
