  1. Then you're obviously in agreement with me. I am doing what I am doing to prevent people from being defrauded by other sites. Thanks, case closed.
  2. If they want it deleted, they will ask - and I will comply.
  3. Congratulations, you know how to Google and you found a Wikipedia article that kind of backs up your theory. Unfortunately, I know first hand that you are wrong - I lost a lawsuit on these very same terms. That's not theory, friend - that's FACT. Here's another wikipedia for you: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Millennium_Copyright_Act Please keep your future posts respectful, I'm about done "discussing" this.
  4. Look, I'm pretty sure I have a valid reason for asking this. I don't want people paying for access to MY thoughts and information on other sites, because they can be misled and it effects my reputation when I don't answer people's questison. How can I know there is even a question if people are talking to "me" when they respond to posts on OTHER sites? I'm not asking a lot here, I'm only asking for respect. Here's some education: If it is created by you, you own it. If you take a picture, i.e. your finger pushes the button - YOU OWN THE COPYRIGHT. If you make a speech, that speech is copyright YOU, if you choose to enforce it. Are you on facebook? A while back, facebook made a legal change to their TOS that stated that any photos you upload become property of Facebook - it works the same way here. If it comes from here originally, it is owned by this forum, and I am protecting YOU and me by asking for this. Now, you're right about one thing - the most that can happen to YOU is a ban on DV. However, if the other site owner doesn't comply when I ask that they remove it, they can be held liable for up to $150,000 per occurrence. Go do some research on DMCA before you throw the next flag.
  5. Some sites have even gone as far as to: 1. Have complete sections dedicated to this site. 2. CHARGE people to read the stuff that is free here. 3 people asked me yesterday why they paid to access my content on another site and then found out it wasn't even on there. I've had enough.
  6. hey all, I deleted some posts in this thread that were completely off topic.. off the Dinar Topic, anyway. I should have known better than to try to address two things at once. I apologize. Let's get back on track.

  8. yesterday was Upper Body - I had a great workout. I love upper Body workouts! Today was a reallly really reeeeeeeeeally slow run - 1.85 miles in 24:28. I am super paranoid about screwing up my shins agani, just when it's running season... so I took it easy. My last two runs were realistically much too long for my present/recent running history. Tomorrow - Lower Body! (ugh.) Then tomorrow night I'll take the kid skiing for some extra credit, and maybe get a swim in on Saturday for Day 26. Day 27 is my free day, and Day 28 starts next Monday on Upper Body. See you in this thread then!
  9. day 21 was a FREE day, I ate a bunch of junk. It was awesome. Day 22 - back to Lower Body. My wrist was STILL screwed up, so I went to the gym - good thing they have machines! Day 23 - Cardio. Ran a nice 2.56 miles in - l ol! - 30 minutes. Oy vey... I started checking out another run tracker called RunKeeper for the iPhone, which is why I slacked on my updates. It screwed my journaling up! But on a neat token, they were both very close in stats: Summary from MapMyRun Name: run Type: Regular Run Date: 03/16/2010 Time Taken: 00:30:00 Workout Weight: 192.0 lbs. Workout Route: 03/16/2010 Route Total Distance: 2.54 mi. Burned: 368 (kcal) Summary from RunKeeper: Start Time 3:10 pm End Time 3:40 pm Duration 0:28:52 h : m : s Distance 2.51 mi Avg. Pace 11:31 per mi Avg. Speed 5.21 mph Climbed 14 ft Burned 358 calories
  10. cheers bud, thank you for the support. It's hard to keep going sometimes, but people like you keep me motivated because you let me know people DO appreciate my work.. *tips hat* thank you, sir.
  11. You mean to tell me that if you have a million in Warka, and they give you 7% - you wouldn't withdraw it all and spend it on crack or cars? You're one of the few
  12. No way! I made my last update on 3-12, only 5 days ago. I actually just got back from a ski trip, so I simply need to update my journal on here. I hate cardio as well... I find it easier if I do it outside. Running, for example, is a GREAT way to stay motivated... I hate treadmills, ellipticals annoy the crap out of me, but if I get to look at different scenery every block - that's different. I'm actually considering biking. I'm going to search CL today for a road bike, and then get some Spandex. I'm sure my brothers will both disown me shortly. Thanks for the encouraging words.
  13. WOW I'm behind - whooops! I'll catch up shortly, I just need to grab my journal.
  14. I spent an hour writing a blog post, sent out an email to the newsletter list, and was in chat this morning. I just posted this here because it's relevant. If it doesn't interest you, find another thread or start one of your own.
  15. No change on the IQD yet, but look at some of the interest rates... Warka kills them all. 16. are you holding your breath?
  17. Actually he said we should have a RATE by then. He didn't say we run to the bank and cash in - there IS a difference! Patience is a virtue, friends. I hope we cash in this weekend, but if we don't - that doesn't mean all is lost. It's still a good investment. That's for sure!
  18. ok gang, enough. I'm as guilty as anyone, but let's just let it go. thread closed.
  19. lol E just partnered with DD, and he's already trashing the guy. Somebody needs attention.
  20. amen ToddS - keep up the good work Sunshinelvr!
  21. Sory everyone, I know I meant to update this daily... I have been true to my workout schedule, but the recent flurry of excitement with my CBI email left me with no time to update HERE. Day 16 was cardio - I wanted to swim, didn't make it out of the office. Wanted to run, didn't make that before dinner either! Luckily the elliptical was staring me in the face when I went upstairs. My wife sat down and we crammed some "together time" in while I was sweating on the elliptical. Day 17 - the dreaded lower body workout. Grrrrrr.... strapped on the headphones, hit the gym - I'm STILL sore! Feels great. Day 18 was yesterday, ran a quick 2 miles around the subdivision. Today is upper body, I'll hit the gym on the way to the airport. I'm taking the weekend to head out to some nice big hills... my 20 minutes of cardio on day 20 is going to be replaced with a full day of skiing. WOOOO! That's the update, keep the faith if you're following along!
  22. by the way, next to buying a car - buying a NEW car is the second dumbest thing you can do. As soon as you drive it off the lot, you lose money. Smart idea: Let someone ELSE drive it off the lot, decide they want something else, trade it in... and then get the same vehicle for 40% less with only a couple thousand miles on it.
  23. I would agree with OP IF you simply plan on always having a car payment. Otherwise, his logic is flawed. I don't plan on returning my Toyota for the money I'll get back... I plan on driving it into the ground. If my truck makes it 400k, which it will, at 12,000 miles per year which is what most leases limit you to... here's the breakdown. 400,000 miles / 12,000 per year = 33 years of 'leasing'. 33 years x 12 months per year = 396x$350/mo lease = $138,600. I'm sorry, but I don't think paying $138,600 for a vehicle I don't even own is very smart. Someone help me out here I'll pay for my truck, drive it as many miles as I want per year, and save about 100k.
