  1. Russia announced in August of 1997 that they would be lopping 3 zeros off their currency starting in January 1998 and would change out bills until January 2002. They also announced they would bring back kopeks (their coins) Instead they only allowed 2 weeks for changing out the currency.
  2. About Newshound guru Breitling's post . I was in Russia shortly before they lopped. We were adopting 2 little girls and had to exchange all of our cash for the adoption into Rubles. We were millionares!! We were told to be cautious about rubles that caused your hand to burn as it was probably from the Chernoble area. They loaded them off on foreighners. Shortly after we returned home we read about their lop. The population was given a very short time to exchange their old rubles for the new ones. Most of them couldn't get into the bank in time to do it, so many people lost what they h
  3. Climber7 http://www.arkdiscovery.com/ark-cov-index.htms this is the linc to the information about Ron Wyatt's discoveries. Fascinating read!
  4. Eagle Eye, thanks for posting your book linc. I 'm glad you have completed it. Have you read anything about Ron Wyatt's discovery of the Ark of the Covenant back in the early 80's? It was discovered 20 feet below where Jesus died and the blood flowed down and was sprinkled on the mercy seat. They had the blood tested and it was incredible!!!
  5. We have been in this investment for almost 9 years. Back when the chat page was really active there was a fellow Dinar vet who claimed he and his father had invested in the the Kuwait dinar. (I believe his name was Ronan 77 or something similar) He said back then there were no sites like this to help them keep an eye on their investment, but they knew someone over there and when the Kuwait dinar started to become active their contact kept them up on things. They didn't immediately cash in, but waited their time. He said it was very volatile and when it went over $2.00 per dinar they cashe
  6. Very low denominations are not worth a fraction of the cost of the paper they are printed on without a significant adjustment to the rate of exchange. I hope this happens soon!
  7. Perhaps Abadi is needing the Kurds support to become Prime Minister again...so... What do the Kurds have #1 on their wish list??? HCL, baby!!!
  8. It seems to me that Kaps explanation for the way it will happen is very close to what Dr. Shabibi explained back in 2011.
  9. Iraq needs to tap in to some of Israel's innovations. They were slowly draining the Sea of Galilee before they built desalination plants. Now even though they are 60% desert, they have no water shortage at all. Israel has been sharing their desalination technology with third world countries so they can have clean, fresh water also. If Iraq could get past the fact that they desperately hate the Jews, they could benefit from their superior innovations.
  10. Hi caz, How are things in Cazland?
  11. I was in Israel in March and visited the Golan Heights. They have UN forces there with huge binoculars watching everything that was happening near there in Syria. Our guide said the rebels would head in that direction if they were being attacked and their attackers would retreat because they were afraid of the Israeli forces. If wounded the Syrians cross over into Israel and have their wounds treated My guess is the Golan Heights are not open to tourism right now with all the tensions.
  12. I remember 14-15 years ago when the US was wanting to inspect Iraq's factories to be sure they were not producing chemical weapons (like what they used on the Kurds) My theory is that they shipped them to Syria under the radar so they wouldn't be caught by the inspectors. Now- Tadaa!- Syria just happens to have some to use on these rebels. I can understand why Trump is so heated up about this- and with good reason! The tricky part is to not start a war with Russia.
  13. I have been in this since December 2009. In June of 2010 I had a dream about the dinar. I had a friend with me in a convertible. He was showing me where the cash in site was. We traveled on this rough rocky road it seemed forever. Finally we pulled into the bank parking lot. When we inquired in the bank where to cash in our dinar, they told us it was across the street and sure enough, there were 2 women behind what looked like a fruit stand, under a big tree, cashing in dinar. When I asked them if this was the right place they said it was and that, boy had it shot up last night. I went t
  14. I was just in Israel. They have UN troops in the Golan Heights constantly watching Syria. The Syrians cross over into Israel when they are wounded. and they receive the help they need and are sent back home again. The discussion among the Israelites is why do they do this??? They have spent over 1/2 billion dollars on this and the know the Syrians will probably turn around and attack Israel next time they get a chance. They came to the conclusion that they know how it feels to be in that situation and they will not turn their back on the wounded.
  15. My theory is the uppity ups in In Iraq know how closely we all watch everything they do, so they have a little fun and yank our chains with stuff like this every once in a while.
  16. Release from UN sanction Chapter VII was always on the list of things that needed to happen before their money could revalue. Funny how we were convinced, years ago, that this had already occurred. Perhaps now we will see the HCL passed also. The crack down on corruption and the formal end to the war on ISIS are also biggies for our investment. Bring on the lower denoms!!!and maybe that will put all our ducks in a row!
  17. It will be interesting to see what difference it will make for Iraq if the UN totally releases them from Chapter 7 sanctions. Is this the item that has kept their currency from going international? I thought the article that addressed Kuwait's (still) missing dead interesting this week- showing that Iraq is trying to get all their ducks in a row before the UN meeting.
  18. Congratulations Eagle Eye! The Shroud is fascinating! Thank you for bringing your first hand experience to the world dear friend!
  19. Vato96- Sonny1 did mention GE and a device they had that would separate the natural gas from the crude oil.
  20. Rabbi, It may be worth $860,000 now, but with a 1:1 revalue it would be 1.25 billion dollars. That could buy a lot of terror. Maybe they are thinking in those terms.
  21. If Daesh or ISIS hold large amounts of Iraqi Dinar, wouldn't that be funding terrorism to Revalue the currency at this time?
  22. Thanks Adam! Happy fourth to you also. Do you know which 2 US presidents died on the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence (both were signers)?
  23. We'd be rich if we had a nickel every time the gurus have called it
  24. Thanks for the update. I think your friends' assessment is probably pretty accurate. I think Baghdad is pretty upset over the low price of oil. In the past, many felt with the high price of oil, the huge holdings of gold and other wealth and their liquidity would foster an RV But now we are seeing a totally different picture. Their budget wont cover their expenses because of low oil prices and it is diminishing their reserves rapidly. Inflation could skyrocket with the implementation of the tariffs. Let's just hope they can see a recovery from this slump soon! Not trying to be negative.
  25. Perhaps, Greg Hi, you ARE the someone who said the Kurdistan delegation would be there! LOL
