My brother in law went to his Wells Fargo branch in Camp Verde, Arizona (small town, folks!) last week and asked about exchanging the dinar. He said they would exchange it with a deposit slip, then do the electronic deposit. The interesting thing to me is that a teller in a little Arizona town is actually conversant in the dinar. Big difference from a couple of months ago when the typical response was "Huh?"

I haven't checked the IMF yet, but do they have to have the valid, tradeable currency when they RECEIVE the loan, or just when they pay it back? If the latter is the case, that pushes the clock back a bit.

Plus, he is a real estate appraiser...as am I. And I have been known to drink dirty martinis......

When I popped into chat today, it was all abuzz about having to post 10 times to be able to get into chat...I can see some are following that by the number of lame posts, which only serves to further clutter this site. But NOWHERE can I find this new "rule" posted...

Thanks, Steve - glad you have reposted this. Excellent analysis, based on FACT. This is basically tied to economic factors...but what about the political angle? Hard to believe that wouldn't have ANY influence...

Hold on...it says they WENT to visit Sistani - past tense. Been there, done that. I think Medic was intimating there would be ANOTHER meeting, yet to come...

When I first heard about this investment opportunity I had to laugh...how like our God to use a Muslim country to bless His people so that we can spread the Good News in the last days!!!!

I agree with the concensus - VIP clear (1st choice) but if it's a banner ad, OK - hate those pop-ups. Frankly, tho, I imagine most of us in this forum already have a trusted dealer...
