If the CBI is manipulating the currency by not selling it to the open market, then there should be an obvious squeeze on the dealers here in the states, and you will see the price of the dinar (to purchase) take off and skyrocket. This my friends will be the obvious sign that what the GOI and particularly the CBI has begun their RV/RI and our investment will begin to flourish.

Looks like GID and Associates has now lowered their price from 1230 usd/1 million IQD to now 1150 usd/1 million IQD, and also they have indicated that they are offering the 10K notes, new and uncirculated as well as their usual 25K notes. Just for the thought.

AFERRISS....... I don't really have much of an intelligent answer as to why GID has such a wide spread. If I had to guess though, I would say that it is probably greed.

I have noticed that the price to purchase IQD on the GID and Associates website has charged forward from 1020 USD to 1120 USD to purchase. This movement in price has occured in the last two weeks. Sounds like they are having trouble supplying at this time. Peace...................GO RV!

ok that all makes sense, but to what end? How high you think this will go on this side of the ocean? Should we stock up more now? And do you think this is going to continue going higher, or is this just a fluctuation in the price curve?

5 days ago I bought dinar from GID Associates (via wired funds) at 1020$ USD/1 million IQD. I look today and GID is selling the same 1 million IQD for 1070$ USD. Whats up with that?
