  1. Easyrider, I have been on this particular site longer than most. I can tell you that I cant recall seeing the responses I saw tonight on your Frank thread. It was childish and ridiculous. Attacking someone because of what they post?? DONT LIKE IT? DONT READ IT! I firmly believe that nobody knows anything in terms of rates, dates, predictions. So if all these prognosticators are all full of crap, then why discriminate? Why not bring it all?? We all need to put on our big boy pants and decipher the information as mature adults. Thanks for all those concerned, but really, I dont need anyone "protecting" me from outrageous guru claims. I can handle that just fine. If you cant research on your own and filter out the BS, you should have kept your money out of dinar and in your freakin piggy bank.
  2. Well the "countdown" he started his posts with last year sure looked like a date prediction to me. Of course when the clock hit zero with no RV ol Frankie let it go very quietly. He doesnt ever come right out and say, the RV will be xx/xx/xxxx, but he words his predictions in a way that people DO respond, DO get pumped up, but always leaves himself an out. To me that is more dangerous to the uneducated than someone like Okie whose BS is overtly obvious.
  3. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. After the Six Day War, Isreal gained control over all of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount. Jews believe that the Temple Mount was the home of Solomon's temple and a the future home of the Temple of the millennial age. Instead of destroying the Al Aqsa mosque and erecting a new temple, they once again played the peacemakers. They gave complete control of the temple mount to the Islamic Waqf, and voluntarily confined themselves to just the Western Wall. How much more are they expected to give?? On a side note, when Eastern Jerusalem was under Jordanian control, Jews were prevented from visiting THEIR Holy sites. In fact many of the temples and synagogues were destroyed and important historical texts and cultural treasures were destroyed. Its obvious who is for PEACE and who is for violence. These United States should stand with the peacemakers and I am embarrassed that our president doesnt realize that.
  4. So let me see if I have this straight. Isreal is threatened to be "wiped of the face of the earth" by Egypt, Jordon, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, and Algeria. So in the summer of 1967 defends herself (miraculously IMO) and repels enemies from 3 simultaneous borders. She destroys the entire Egyptian airforce and a majority of its ground forces in 96 hrs. She asks Jordon not to enter the conflict, but is answered by mortor shells in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Proceeds to force Jordon from Jerusalem, retakes the city, the Temple Mount, and the Western Wall and most of the West Bank. Syria attacks from the north and is driven back out of the Golan Heights. Though fresh of the heels of a resounding victory, Isreal immediately calls for peace talks with the Arab states (which is rebuffed) and enacts a LAW protecting religious sites from desecration and allows access to ALL holy sites (Jewish, Muslim, and Christian) Since the six day war of 1967, Isreal has voluntarily given back the Sinai to Egypt, the Golan Heights and the Gaza Strip to the Palestinians. The only border they keep under strategic control is the West Bank. The Joint Chiefs of Staff in a June 29, 1967 memorandum to the U.S. Secretary of Defense, argued that, from a strictly military point of view, “Israel would require the retention of some captured territories in order to provide militarily defensible borders.” Referring to the West Bank, they argued that Israel required a new boundary that would “widen the narrow portion of Israel” and help protect Tel Aviv. But this nutcase we have in office thinks that Isreal should use the 1967 borders as a jumping off platform to "peace" in the Middle East. Maybe we should give back our original 13 colonies to the British, or how about Texas to Mexico?? Why should Isreal concede ANYTHING?? To the victor go the spoils! They arent a threat to their neighbors. They are bordered on all sides by states whose dedicated and stated goal is the eliminate the Isreal people from this earth. They defended themselves in 1967 and will protect themselves again if needed. 2012 cant get here soon enough. Please please everyone go vote. And for those of you who were "starry eyed" last time around, walk back toward the light, all is forgiven.
  5. Chuckray- I was laughing the minute i saw your topic. Thanks for the chuckle For all you red marker folks, lighten up some otay?? +1 from me.
  6. Unfortunately, I think Zantac is on the money on this one. I am encouraged that they are finally "talking" about HCL in parliament, but this sounds like early discussions on drafts, not the 1st of three readings of the actual law. Quote from article: "The oil and gas law will be returned to the Ministers Council to be reformulated for being written before the licensing rounds" I have argued for awhile now that the HCL will be a long fight in parliament. We see how these guys fight over nothing. My guess is that we will see some serious fights when it comes to determining monetary disbursements from the sale of their oil. I am hopeful for quick work in this area, but I dont think we've seen anything yet. This is the granddaddy of all, this is about OIL MONEY!! Another issue that we scarcely hear about is the census. How can you decide who gets what and at what percentages if you dont even have a valid count of your citizens??
  7. Well its about time! This one is on my RV checklist!! Get r done
  8. Wow................Mr G a n k i n s...................please come back toward the light. This is the craziest crap I have ever heard. But hey, I will take the $14 exchange rate. Now I can buy my own country!! Thanks!
  9. Wish I had known that it was from PD, wouldnt have wasted my time
  10. OK, so I posted this about 6 weeks ago................ Not much has changed, only the budget passed.......will check back in another month GO RV! Repost from early February 2011: Of course this is only my opinion.... But instead of letting rumors and gurus get us down, how about a little common sense about what is NOT done yet. So here is my checklist: 1) Fully announced government including all remaining ministries. Key issue: Allawi and the new "oversight" group, The National Council for Strategic Policy is essential to checking Malikis power. Either they will form this group, empower it, or we will see Maliki balk and grab for more power. If that happens, this thing may get strung out for another 6 months or more. We need official announcement (not some rumor from Okie that its "done") 2) HCL done. Maybe its done in the Erbil agreement and the Kurds oil production is a clue that it is actually done. Personally I dont think so. The Iraqis took nearly a year to form a government (and its still not officially done), do you really think they will move a lighting speed to agree on how to divide up oil profits?? I see a long protracted fight over this one. Probably need a completed census for the arguments to even begin. Havent heard anything lately about the census. 3) Chapter 7 fully released. Get the Kuwaitis happy for crying out loud! Getting closer?? 4) To a lesser extent, budget announced. May not be a true "key" to the RV, but it ties in. (ONE OFF THE LIST!!) Hopefully we get lucky and this all gets done before DFI protection runs out in June. But remember, this is really all about OIL and who controls and profits from it. That means GOVERNMENT FORMATION and HCL. Until then, save the RV rumors.........please! We are all too tired! Read more:
  11. Yawn!!! Is it me or is the folks over at PD trying to be the new GET They are running more rumors lately than anyone!
  12. Exactly. The budget has been approved "in committee" for lack of a better term. Still has to be read 3 times in parliament, voted on (hopefully approved), and published in the gazette. If they were to RV, all they would have to do is change the numbers. The percentages would remain the same, just with new rate. They know their GDP (at least a decent ballpark) since oil is currently their only source of revenue and is sold in USD. I never suspected the budget would reveal the RV. So change the rate, adjust the numbers leaving the percentages alone. JUST DO IT ALREADY!!!! DO IT NOW!!!!!!!
  13. I think movement in that direction is a good thing, but my thinking is that Iraqs acceptance to the WTO would be POST-RV. Dont think they will let them in with the current state of their currency. But I honestly havent researched it much. That would be good info to look up. Are there others countries in the WTO with nearly worthless currency?? If there are, then we can quit following WTO information as it wouldnt really matter to us. If however, WTO members all have stable and somewhat valuable currency, then I would continue to track Iraqs push for membership as it may be a clue as to where we actually stand. Curious!! I guess if "opening" of accounts equals early Chapter 7 release, then this is pretty big news. The part about calculating payments to Kuwait would indicate that. Not sure but they may just be setting up accounts early for the transfer of DFI funds?? But the real concern for Iraq is DFI "protection". Meaning other debtors cant come making claims on the DFI fund to secure debt payments. That runs out in June and is a very big date on Iraqs calender. Dont think that article refers to moving the "protection" date forward a month. That would not be to Iraqs advantage..........and we know how they feel about advantages
  14. Could be BIGCG. That very well could be already done. Would love to hear more about it soon. Maybe that was the "real" holdup since last march. 9 months of haggling not over the PM but over the oil $$$ Hopefully youre right, that Kurdish oil flowing is a great sign.

  16. No one seems to be able to answer this. The mods dont even know.
  17. The GETO team aka Ghetto group gets their own super-secret copy of the gazette, or didnt you know?? You are just going to have to trust them
  18. Box office review: As usual we get great entertainment value, but the story left me doubting its validity. Weak plot, poor character development, dishonest on-screen relationships. The director continually relies on the same cast of characters, which leaves us wanting something new and fresh. To sum up, its just not believable anymore. I predict a low draw at the box office and a high chance of "direct to dvd" releases for future endeavors. I give it a big thumbs down..........
  19. I say good for them! Maliki needs a little more rioting to get his arse moving! Egypt part II. I'm done saying go RV, its go Iraqi people.......let em hear ya!!!!!!!!
  20. hmm............curious as to when "today" was. If he is referring to Tuesday, then ok good rumor. But if he is referring to Wednesday (today) then I believe parliament had scheduled themselves another "vacation" for today.
  21. Nice find. Lots of good info. If anything, its just nice to hear that someone in our government IS actually concerned over the government formation and disruptions to that formation (ie- Sadrists, Iran, etc) To hear them actually discussing the same things that we as dinar investors concern ourselves with is very refreshing......thanks.
  22. These guys are making the Florida recount look "normal and professional"............
  23. yep.....what you said. and its not always the CAD, sometimes some of the others are missing. I think the CBI has a lazy I.T. guy.
  24. Got no problem with hope, got a big problem with preying on peoples emotion! I have been around awhile, not just here at DV, but all over these dinar websites. This biggest thing I notice is the turnover. New members joining everyday, old members disappearing. WHY? Because after a year or two of hearing "RV this weekend" most get burned out and move on. They need the new folks to believe these rumors, they arent as jaded, more gullible. Again what saddens me is that Gankans was once a great contributor. An anayst of news. He would simply break down and dicipher the information that was coming in. He was just like many of us, trying to get a read on this thing. NOW that he is involved with GET, all of the sudden he has "sources" of intel????? How exactly did that happen? They all of the sudden just contacted him so he could have the "super secret intel of the Iraqi dinar revaluation" Listen, nobody that really knows what is going on would contact any "website guru" and alert them to how the biggest exchange of wealth the world will ever see is going down! Lets all keep our BS meter on high alert...............mine is beeping wildly right now.
