Thanks, Steve. I am not so naive to believe that the CBI or any country's Treasury Dept. / Central Bank is going to be truthful about pending policies changes to their respective currencies. Justified deception and flat out erroneous statements is the traditional game plan and I reference China when they vehemently denied rumors of a pending currency appreciation. Two days later, they raised the value of their currency. Everything espoused about the short run future of the IQD is purely supposition but I believe that Iraq is a unique situation that has no historical reference and likely, no future recurrence. This is just one of the many reasons that I have speculated the IQD for the past six years. Good luck to all of us and God Bless our military and our country!

I thought the same thing, too, Robin. If one is to believe Shabibi's comment (which I don't) then what rate does he consider 'unreasonable'? He can't tell the world what he really thinks or what he is planning to do, imo.

Thanks B. I'm beginning to think that Frank26 is the one that is confused. I don't recall anything that he has prognosticated coming to fruition. For that matter, all of the self-proclaimed 'dinar gurus' are batting 0.00 when it comes to predicting a possible rv. I would certainly like to see one of them nail it on the head. JMO, but I'm following Enorrste's premises because thay are the most logical and fact based that I've seen in my 6+ years speculating the IQD.

You are incorrect in your statement about no uncirculated dinar. My initial purchases back in 2004-05 included million dinar 'blocks' of 50, 250, and 500 notes that were banded with and still wrapped in heavy plastic. I purchased millions of dinar in 25k & 10k notes that have never been in circulation. I think you are confusing the word 'circulated' with 'released' dinar as in the 5 denominations that have not been released with the other 9.

I received the same email from Enorrste. This is his post and he deserves recognition for it. If Enorrste is supposedly not a member here, how can he post on chat like he did yesterday? Enorrste is likely the most intuitive dinar prognosticator currently posting on any forum and although he may ultimately be incorrect in his premises, he presents a very logical, fact-based theory regarding why Iraq must revalue the IQD. Compare his posts to the myriad of self-proclaimed 'dinar experts' who capitalize every word which only serves to magnify that they are in fact, 'functional illiterates'. functional illiterate - definition of functional illiterate by the ... I do disagree with the Israeli agent's comment regarding terrorists not focused on detonating nukes because there are approximately 70 suitcase / backpack nukes that 'went missing' (stolen??) from the USSR arsenal after the collapse of the Soviet Union back in the late 80's. Rumor has it that they were sold by high ranking Soviet officers who had access to them and sold them to the highest bidder. Bin Laden was reported to be 'in the market' for some of these and had his $300,000,000 inheritance from his father to do some serious 'shopping'. There is no doubt in my mind that al qaeda would not hesitate to detonate any number of these in the most populated cities in the United States. Supposedly, there are highly sensitive radiation 'sniffers' strategically placed all over and around Washington D.C. and NYC and are monitored 24/7 for any rise in radiation levels. They are likely in every major port and bridge complex across the country. The world will be dealing with the Islamic homicidal maniacs for at least the next 50 years imho.
