Thanks for this encouraging and realistic update. I too believe we will get there...it never was going to be a "get-rich-quick" scheme and I knew that when I got in. But I too also believe that we will get to the finish line someday -- or my son will on my behalf. :-) Have a great week everyone!

Exactly...way too much political posturing and finger pointing right now. Lots of talk in Iraq right now but seemingly little action. Since my opinion was asked for -- I do think it will happen, but probably sometime down the road. Really hope I'm wrong but somehow I think we will caught by surprise (but happy) when it happens. Not enough infrastructure Maliki is still breathing Iran still trying to get its hand in the pot Not enforcing the rules of their own constitution Too much political corruption Not really a stable environment for outside investors (despite all their trumpeting) Lots of op eds coming out, but not much in real laws being passed Too much reliance upon oil Not enough of an State identity (Kurdish independence) An awful lot of borrowing undertaken by GOI Just my $0.02...

Trying not to view this with dinar goggles or panic mode -- Looking at this from a big picture standpoint I wouldn't surprised if they put out some thicker smoke...something like "Hey, we're probably going to LOP the 3 digits so you better get your currency in." And then after the smoke clears a bit, come out at 1:1 with no lop at all. While I can definitely see the math at $0.10 or lower, I think the politicians need something to keep the otherwise demonstrating crowd from going after Parliamentary blood. Just my $0.02.
