Vietnam and Iraq sign commercial agreement

Progress! I like reading stories that show that Iraq is growing. Thank you for sharing the post. -
AC has received a lot of criticism for saying what people don't want to hear. That's the problem with the truth, sometimes it isn't what we want to hear, but need it anyway. Personally, I would rather hear the truth than to be told something is going to happen next week, oh wait next week, or I meant the week after that. He said things are progressing, and truthfully stated that progress takes time. There are people behind this investment. It takes time to change an entire culture. I know I teach the refugees from this culture. They are very strong in their beliefs and are willing to change, but it takes small steps. And, I mean very small steps. For them to trust the banking system because their money is worth more would not work. And the bank of a country needs the people of that country to have full faith in the institution. That takes time. When you have "gurus" that predict things that their audience wants to hear, there will be a voice that says the truth. When you have several "gurus" predicting what we want to hear, a truer picture, being so contrary will annoy the senses. That's what contrary does. This is an investment in a culture, and another site's news giving insight to that culture. When the culture has recovered from the havoc, the investment will be complete. So I read the AC posts with the news of the culture, not the investment, in mind.

New hospital to be built in Kirkuk City
trishberg replied to k98nights's topic in Iraq & Dinar Related News
This really caught my attention and showed how American I am. My first response was "there are three beds in the room without a curtain?" Then I realized, they would appreciate having the facility to be able to take care of their community. Watching Iraq regrow has really taught me a lot about the good things in our country that I had taken for granted. -

Sorry to hear about this. They probably need to set up signs or something to that effect. We have those in AZ. The signs to mark the sacred or historical sites. -

Iraq plans to increase per capita income
trishberg replied to lgraham's topic in Iraq & Dinar Related News
One thing I find especially nice is that they are able to focus on the income status. For so many years they have been under damage control. Now they are looking and moving in a forward direction. Thanks for sharing the information -

Thank you for starting this topic. I'm sure I'm not the only one who read and prayed for each person as I read their request. This is one of the many little things that make this site special.

It is nice hearing about the politics from someone who is there-in a way that only requires one read through. Thank you for taking the time to share the information.

Wow! Phone call from Bank. No speculation just what happened.
trishberg replied to jte70's topic in Dinar Rumors
Kind of off topic, but relates to your post. My bank called when there was a weird $6.00 purchase on my account. Yes 6 bucks. It turned out someone tried to steal my identity and the bank caught it right away, but called to make sure it was me. So it does happen. -

You go to the top corner of your screen where it says edit profile. From there you edit Other Information Here you can configure all other information that is shown on your profile. Read more: http://dinarvets.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=help&do=01&HID=2&hl=#ixzz1APzMaeze Here's the catch. When they upgraded the site that option wasn't added to some of our pages. I did the "My information changes" prior to the site upgrade this summer and don't have the option any more. If you don't have the option to modify your "other information", I know a mod would help you make the changes.

I have to go to work, but I'll play with the site again later. There is a way you can change your status in the settings page. I changed mine over a year ago so I can't remember the steps. Chat with you later.
