I'm going to stand by the theory I have backed for years now. I believe you are 100% correct in what you are saying. However, my theory is that it will be an in country lop only. This will allow Iraq to collect the 000's from inside the country and create a smooth process over to the new denoms. After that phase is complete, I believe foreign investors will be able to cash in their dinar at face value through the banks in their countries. The federal reserve banks in those countries will then collect that dinar and give it back to Iraq in return for oil at a pre determined rate of exchange. Again it is my belief, and only my belief, that the plan from the beginning was to allow the people of Iraq to prosper through the HCL while foreign investors will prosper due to their foresight to invest in the rebuilding of Iraq through purchasing their currency. Unfortunately, I think a lot of investors are going to cash in after the in country lop thinking that is the end of it. DO NOT fall into that trap. Be patient and wait for the other shoe to drop. That is when the true blessing will unfold.
That is one theory among many. Only time will tell where the truth lies.

This idea of trading Dinar for oil has always intrigued me. Our government doesn't buy the oil in this country, the oil companies do. Don't they? Hummm

You have the right to do what you want with your money, but your attempt to influence others to make the same discision is wrong. I purchased my Dinar 8 years ago. If I sold them today, I would make a 425% return on my money(based on what they are going for in the sales section of this website). You are right about investments taking time to produce. I entered this investment with a goal of 10 years to make a profit. I have 2 more years to earn on my investment. It appears to me that you were looking for a "get rich quick scheme", and lost your patience. There aren't too many of those left in the world anymore, but there have been a lot of firsts happening, lately, all over the world. Maybe this will be one of them. I, too, budgeted this money and can afford to lose it if neccesary. I do not see that happening. Good luck to you in the future.

Can you show that the Japanese or German currency put in circulation after the wars had a major Revaluation up?
I is my understanding from all accounts, a new currency was issued after the wars, without any dramatic RV as characterized by the lies about an RV of the Dinar.

Show me with links any major nation revaluing the currency issued after the war in a dramatic way...
There are many instances of Devaluation down, none I can find of Revaluation up.
Check out the links offered, they are valid and may help you as they did me, change my mind and get me out without loosing all my funds.
Currencies do change in value to a market valuation world wide but only gradually, and you may have a gradual increase if you want to wait it out.
Dinar may be worth more in the future, but not for a long time, years from now.

I too am hoping for the " good things come to those who wait", I have been waiting 8 yrs and will keep waiting for as long as it takes. This is 1 year past what I originally thought. Actually I guess not. I anticipated 7-10 yrs. Still in range.

I am a longtime dinar holder (2004). I stop in occassionally to check progress. Gave up on the RV 3 years ago, but still believe the Dinar has to increase dramatically in the future. They are much too properous beyond belief for it not to happen. I have kept the faith in this investment through thick and then. I, too , am fearful for this country's future. But, I agree with Rayzur's statement, "there is only one true King", and He has sustained me through worse times than this. I will keep my Dinar till the end. If you feel that time is your enemy, think of me and many like me. We have been waiting for a very longtime.

Hi everyone. One of the misunderstandings of Chapter 7, from the very beginning, is that most Americans hear chapter 7 and they think of bankruptcy. This is not that kind of chapter 7 folks. The United Nations has a list of sanctions that they use to keep countries in line. These "sanctions" are referred to as "chapters" with a number attached to them. Iraq was under the control of a number of sanctions that were imposed by the U.N. Chapter 7 Sanctions was only a part of these sanctions. If you go to the U.N.'s website, you can navigate to a section that describes each sanction by chapter and number. For the longest time, I was confused by this also until I realized that Bankruptcy is a priveledge bestowed upon American Citizens when they get into financial trouble. It is a federal section of American law. Iraq doesn't have that priveledge. So I started doing research and found my mistake. It certainly sounds like bankruptcy, but it is not. Hope this helps to clear things up.

Been here with you since 2004 myself. Well, not here at this website since then, but you know what I mean. The only difference between me and most others here is I expected to be here waiting at this time. In fact, I thought it would be more like 15 years before a significant pay-off. You can go back through the archives of this website and see I have always been patiently waiting. I have to admit that a few times the gurus and pumpers got my adrenaline pumping, but the dissappointment, for me, wasn't that great. As soon as I fell back to earth, I was fine. It is good to find another "oldtimer" like myself. Hang in there.

I actually stumbled across the info in a document that I read on the United Nations website, or maybe it was on the IMF's history of nations. Anyway, I agree, it's NOT over till its over. I still have a great feeling about this investment. I look at it this way: The longer it takes to RV the Dinar, the more time that Iraq has to put it's infrastructure back in place. This isn't just about oil. They have Sulpher, Natural Gas deposits, Gold, Silver, and lets not forget the crops they have the potential to export. It is a long ways off from hearing the "fat lady sing" in Iraq. I am just as ready as everyone else for this to be over, but there is an argument to be made for waiting. God bless.

Actually, they first announced their intentions to do this in 2006, and have followed through with sporadic press releases confirming their intentions.
It is only lately, especially since June 19 of this year when the plan was presented to Maliki, have the press releases been coming out multiple times per week.
That said, it is, and always has been a distinct possibility. Anyone saying otherwise is very poorly informed.
Before this can take place, there are many hurdles that have to be cleared; of which Maliki may be the most difficult.
There is little doubt that this is the CBI's first choice. In 2006, the Minister of Finance and Shabibi's fore runner first announced it as the plan. Shabibi has continued to reinforce the possibility ever since.
However, it hasn't passed parliament, and unless Shabibi really wants the political fallout of exercising the CBI's autonomy to unilaterally affect the Iraqi currency, it may never come to pass.
This is just one more of another uncertainties we face.
XE is merely offering the only information that has been released from Iraq in the past 5 years that may affect the Dinar.

Actually, I have seen a reference to 2003 somewhere in the archives, and I have seen sporatic references since 2004 when I first invested. I guess I am learning patience if nothing else.

The real problem is that they still have not stopped the massive corruption that still exists. I read recently that there is still billions of dollars that are missing from this last year. The more Iraq makes, the more that will be stolen by the politicians. We don't have a chance in hell at making any money on this investment if they don't plug the holes.

I took it that the authors are using that as an example regarding the ability to make change, which they have not been able to do, and not a literal exchange. I seem to remember one of the original articles regarding the change issue, indicated it was an example. And, yes, it is the same at so many articles, but I think is part of the education process.
It is tough just sitting and waiting, isn't it? Especially when we are so close, IMHO. The speculation will make you crazy. If the speculation doesn't make you crazy, the translations will.
Has there been any discussion on doing a LOP in country ONLY? Read this carefully, because it could be interpretted in that way. Lop in country, but outside investors would experience a raise in value. It makes no sense does it? Just popped into my head. I guess I am grasping for straws.

The Az Cardinals said this morning that they had to secure Larry Fitzgerald's contract with big money and that today is the day for that money to arrive. Looks like its gonna be at least another couple months with the way things are going. I think I need a vacation from all the Hype.
I highly recommend it. It has been very relaxing to me. It took me 6 years to take my first break (I took about a month off), and now I take a short break every month (about 4 days away). I was going crazy from the hype before. I came into this with low expectations but the hype finally got to me, so the break saved me from going over the edge. As I said, I highly recommend it.

The interesting part of this article is when they say that they "raised the value of the Dinar to more than 2000 from 1120" I'm sorry guys but 2000 is almost half the value of 1120, not higher. Remember, the lower the number, the more the value.

It sounds like it would make logical sence....but who says they have to join the international community by raising there currency value??? Selected iraq politations can keep there people poor and still provide the basics by trading oil for goods.
I agree. Besides, who says they have to raise their value to enter the International Community? There are plenty of other countries with values less than the Iraqi Dinar and they are still members. So, why is it so important for the dinar to raise in value?

If you really think I want a RD and do not want a RV then I really dont know what to say to that. I want to be rich just like everyone else and I am sorry if I am ruining anyones hopes because that is not my intention. I was merely trying to point out what was actually being said in the article. If people cant deal with that then so be it. Its not like this is the first article that has told us this. What if you invested in Microsoft and they were telling you that they were about to lay off half of their work force? What would hope or positivity do for you then? Maybe Microsoft was using "smoke and mirrors". So would you want your stock broker telling you that it was smoke or they really meant something else?
You should ignore people who bash you for telling the truth. They are only doing it because the truth is destroying their hopes and dreams, and that truly is hard to deal with. Put yourself in their shoes for just a moment and you will understand where they are coming from. Don't take it personal. They aren't really mad at you. I appreciate your point of view since I have been away for some time, and it helps me catch up on the perspective of this investment. It is ironic that things seem the same as when I left. The RV is still "This Friday" or "On Monday", everything in the news pertains, in one way or another, to the Iraqi Dinar, etc., etc., etc. In fact, this is the same as it was in 2004 when I first invested. Just the names have changed, with exception of a few.

At least when keep or others who believe in the lop or RD theory chime in they give you a link or a detailed explanation of their thoughts which can result in an intelligent discussion rather than just popping in to spout off some negativity and then promptly dissapearing which only results in frustration.
You know, reading these quotes makes me feel like I ,too, am guilty lately of the very same thing as this guy. I used to explain, in detail, what my thoughts were. I must apologize to all you who do not know me, and assure you I will do better. Keep knows me from way back. Starting in November 2010, I started taking breaks of a month or so at a time. It has been very medicinal. I have been in this investment since the beginning (2004) and it was starting to weigh heavily on my mind, so the break did the trick. It has been hard to get back involved again, though, so that is why the short responses. Keep and I used to go back and forth all the time, and I learned to respect his point of view. It is good to see him still here. I have been laid up from surgery for about a week. This will give me time catch up on my research, so I know what I am talking about. I don't want to waste anyone's time by repeating anything. I know how frustrating that is to some. Later people.
Well it seems this is a positive post. So far I am the only one on here that doesn't think they are talking about a RV. Sorry you think I am negative or whatever but I can't help but to point out the obvious. I don't want a RD any more than you but come on. How many more of these do we need to see before people finally realize what they are saying. It is amazing how the human brain can manipulate something to make it what we want. These articles are not in good translated english but how hard is 100 million becomes 100 thousand to understand? Remove three zeros. Reference Turkey. It sux. I hate to read them but there is really no way out of 15 or so posters that I am the only one who gets the hint of what is being said. If you want I can pretend that this articles means imminet RV. My stance is this though... IMO only of course... after all I am not a politician, and I suck at lieing... is it not possible that much of what needs to be done that is still left on the "checklist", could be done behind closed doors (where even Okie can't know 
... sorry buddy) where we are not privy to??? And could it also not be feasible that once they decide these things could be implemented simultaneously? I like to keep an open mind! I hear ya though... normally things like this take time, like all good things worth waiting for... oh, but hold on now... some folks have been waiting a good long while now... so whaz it gonna be??? 
Fast or slow... I think we might have em both covered! GO RV Already! 
I've been invested for 7 years now. I was pretty confident, when I invested, that this was going to be a 10 to 15 year ride. So, I still have 3 to 8 years to go before I will feel like it is time to complain. That is why you do not see me responding very often. I am still happy with this investment.

I have received this notice twice a year since being here on Dinar Trade. I think every once in a while they run out of things to get us all excited about the investment, so they send this out to some newbies. It does work pretty well. It worked on me the first couple of times I received it, because I thought, "It must be happening soon or they wouldn't be reminding us of the cash in procedures, right". That's what I thought anyway. Who knows, maybe it is just around the corner. Wouldn't that be wonderful!!! After 7 years of waiting, I cannot help but be a little suspicious.

I hate to say this guys but, I have been hearing this stuff for over 7 years. I am starting to see that it isn't always the person who is doing the posting who is wrong. Sometimes, I think, the guru gives the info to a seemingly credible person, that person, innocently, posts the info, and that takes the guru off the hook. Also, using the "Christian Card" in order to gain credibility can be very dangerous if you are not one, so be careful. God's wrath can be devistating.Aloha Alli......

I am not a guru, I am not a date or rate guy. I am a Christian father and grandfather that has studied this blessing thousands of hours to try to figure out where we are, based on fact and fiction from posters on all sights, but mostly, I have contacted dozens of credible people inside and outside our country that might know something that would be of credibility. I have never posted to bring attention to myself but usually to try to keep our members grounded. Many times I have stated that no matter what you hear or see, nobody can tell you exactly when it is going to happen 100% or what the rate will be. I make no apologies because I talk the talk and walk the walk with my Savior.
Now, with that being said (and I will never say it again), I just got off the phone with Mr. XXXXX from XXXXX who is President of XXXXXX Bank who has walked me through over the last five days what he has been told and what he has been sent from higher ups in the Banking Industry. Being that you have no way of knowing who he is as I have held that for his sake, I will give you the round-up of the conversations briefly:
Thursday - Talked to him about why it did not happen last week. He told me that it was supposed to happen last week and something or somebody delayed it. He had no idea other than his bank (which is smaller than the BIG FOUR by far) had been told to be ready and then it did not happen.
Friday - He told me that he had conversations with the financial community in the states and that he was told that last minute negotiations had failed causing it to be delayed. Between who, he did not know.
Saturday - He called and told me that it was ready, nothing to hold it back and that the BIG FOUR BANKS had been frustrated because of the problems it caused them by not going last week and so they were rushing to try to get this done as soon as possible. At that point, he told me that he had a Test "Ping" on his foreign currency indicator. (I am not an IT guy but had heard a lot about the pinging, so I listened) He said that is a test to make sure that all of the banks get the signal.
Sunday - He told me that on Sunday he got the second ping which indicated $ 3.30 on the IQD but it was a test number (not the real rate) to test to make sure that everyone was getting the same rate. Now, I was excited, of course. Later Sunday evening, I got the call that everything was a go. The plan was to bring it out Tuesday for people to cash in on Wednesday.
Monday morning, he told me that he had received an email that he was funded and ready to go and that it would come out Tuesday and he could cash people out on Wednesday. Which brings us to today (and I don't believe that anyone has given you blow by blow of their intel, but you need to see where I am at this point) this morning about 10 AM, his information was still the same ..... going down today and cash out tomorrow! Just a little after 6 P.M., his information had changed, he is still absolutely sure that the RV is locked and loaded and should come out at any minute but his sources are now telling him that they have moved the speculative cash in time to within 72 hours. This would mean that we are looking between Wednesday and Friday for cash out. That is it folks. I trust this gentleman, he gives us this intel free as I have a good friend who's family is close to this guy and he has no reason to give me anything but the truth. Given Okie's post today about getting almost the same information from Chase, I believe it and it jives with zzzzzzzzz's information that we are in the moment.
Now if you bash me, you are wasting your time and finger skin. I have never, ever given date or rate before that came from me. I am absolutely comfortable with this intel as I know from whom it comes and I trust that this is what he has in hand. So, with that, I will hope for the next 72 hours to see what I believe is planned and barring any more delays caused by unknown sources. We should see it by the weekend.
So that the attention is not though to be toward me. I will give you this info and excuse myself from this thread. I will only return if I have something else to report. GOD BLESS YOU and GOD BLESS THE USA

I cannot believe that after 9 years with this investment, that people still believe that "Chapter 7", when referring to Iraq, has anything to do with Bankruptcy. Chapter 7 is the number of one sanction impossed on Iraq. One of many. How anyone could think that Iraq would be afforded protection from creditors by using American Laws is preposterous. Come on people!!! Go to the U.N. website and view what chapter 7 sanctions are when pertaining to the U.N. Charter. It is at best a coincidence that the numbers are the same.
