  1. We will be debating this topic 12 months from now and there will be virtually no change in iraq. There won't be an HCL, there won't be a removal of ISIS from mosel, there won't be an RV, RI OR Rd. It will virtually be the same as it is today, as it was at this time in 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, etc. Etc. Etc. Oh, I forgot one thing. Caz will still be promoting the big RV, and Shabs will be seconding his every word. Throw in a few more, give or take, but there won't be no RV. And I will be getting very close to having Caz cough up $1500 for my remainING dinar, as he said he would. ( I'm not holding my breath on that one)

  2. Well, since It appears that I have been banished to the lobster pot by the powers that be, I will make a comment on your question. Iraqi government workers go to their offices everyday and then go home to their families at night just like government workers around the world do . They don't have much money, but iraq is their home. They worship in their neighborhood mosques, and they celebrate social happenings in their homes just like we do. If they can squirrel away a few dollars for a rainy day, I'm sure they do, but they are dependent on government subsidies to survive. The main corruption occurs in the seats of government power. People who have international connections, who can move money overseas quietly and confidentially. We will never change that. And the powers that be want to keep it that way. Therefore, they will not do anything to rock the boat, to "wake the sleeping giant". And in every country, the sleeping giant is the general public. So the CBI and MOF will keep an even strain, moving the peg slightly in reaction to economic factors. I don't think they will RD, RI, or RV the dinar anytime soon.

  3. Going international is no guarantee of a revalue. And I personally believe the Iraqi dinar will never go international. Too many inconsistencies and government corrupt officials for the international world to trust the CBI. The dinar's only hope is a restructured economy, a GOI that is functional, border security, increased oil values, and confidence in their nation. Otherwise we hold just another third world toilet paper currency worth one tenth of a penny.

  4. I think this site is much more for entertainment than actual dinar RV news now. Nobody believes that myth anymore. Back in 2009, yes, the RV fever was upon us, but now....7 years later.....highly unlikely. Unless you just woke up from a seven year coma, belief in the 100,000% revalue is just plain silly. What's far more likely is the complete disintegration of the sovereign nation of iraq into warring sects of ideologically driven fanatics. Of course this is just my opinion on these matters. Yours may differ significantly.

  5. In their current state of fiscal crisis it is impossible for the CBI to RD, RI, or RV the dinar. All they can do right now is hang on and pray for oil to go up or a sympathetic IMF to send them more loans. It is a mess over there and we will be lucky to survive it ( dinar speaking that is)

  6. It's why I dumped 75% of my dinar holdings a month ago. I feel iraq is heading for an abyss, both economically and politically. Without a massive US occupation which isn't going to happen, iran will step in and pick up all the broken pieces. And iran now has 100 billion dollars from sweet obama, to buy influence, corruption, militany hardware and worst of all, ideology. If it gets much worse, I'll be giving caz a call to buy my remaining 1.5 mi at $1000 per mil, as he/she promised me.

  7. I love your Psalm 66:12. God bestows His wealth upon us in many ways. Love, joy of family, the beauty of Creation all around us, inner peace, abundant food and clean water. How about the smell of honeysuckle on a warm southern evening. Man, now that's wealth!! Kinda puts our discussion of the dinar into perspective, doesn't it.

  8. Well, shegal, you indicated wrong. My life is quite full. I just do this to needle you. Feeling sorry for me is a complete waste of your time. It would be better spent looking under your bed for the big RV. Maybe in another seven years without an RV you might begin to see my alternative points on this. But I would bet a Zimbabwe dollar that conversations just like this will still be going on. Of course it won't be me, cuz I will have long since sold my last 25% ( maybe to caz) and moved on. But I would imagine that you, shabs and caz will still be here, making fun of lobsters and generally causing chaos in the pot. Smile. The dinar is not a life or death matter.

  9. To answer your question, I hang around because without me who would you three have to gnaw on? You drove off all the good ones, so all you have left is me. Of course you could all just sit around the campfire and sing Kumbiya waiting for the dinar to RV at 1 to 1. I'd rather debate. Caz would rather sing and roast hot dogs. We each have a place at the table unless this site has been hijacked by the Luigi crew.

  10. Well, shegal. I am comforted that you at least draw a distinction between shabs and Tony. I was being "tongue in cheek" when I lumped all of you together with the T. I realize that he was a dishonest dinar pumper, and you all are just like me, a dinar holder. Where we differ, and differ greatly, is in the future of the dinar as a speculation. I sold my "speculation" part of my holdings awhile back ( felt good too), but am holding my last 25% as an"investment". No more speculation for me. I grew up and quit believing in fairy tales of riches untold several years ago. But I might be able to save a little money if the dinar revalues a little over the next 3-4 years. Did I hear you say it was an honor to be associated with caz? Ever play golf with him?

  11. I hate to tell you, but Marcus Curtis so far, has been proven right! Has it RVED in 10 years? Has it done anything worth reporting? Or has it stayed at good ole 1166 (1182) forever. Who was right? MtGoat, TNT, Shabs, Shegal,Caz, jax? , or was it Keeps, Legulous, and Curtis. Ah......let's see..the winner is Curtis, Keeps, and Legulous! Case closed. Now go find some more dinar to buy.

  12. You three, caz, shabs, and jax, should go back and read the last 12 posts here. You three are so alike you could be the same person using different handles. Let's all pick on Antietam, then maybe he'lol go away and we can continue our shill-like subterfuge to keep the "believer" in check. Seriously, you three need to go back and read your last 12 posts. It's an indication of why we free thinkers think you three are shill-like creatures guarding the pot from little ole me. HaHa, you boys/girls are a hoot when you band together. How's Tony doing? You three should have first hand experience.

  13. Well, your "style" hasn't changed one iota. Always on the attack. Never conciliatory. Never willing to consider an alternative view. Always attack. What is your secret motive behind such ideology, caz? Either you are too hard-headed to see any other options, OR....you have alliances you do not wish to discuss here. I have my own opinion on where you stand on that matter. Call a spade a spade, my brother.

  14. You of all people lecturing me on this. How ironic. You are probably the last of the guard dog posters that have invaded the pot for years. EVERY post of yours has a sarcastic twist to it. Your dedication to this endeavor has garnered my suspicions that you have very shill-like ambitions for keeping the GO RV mantra going. Seen TNT lately?

  15. Well, since several of you have referenced my "abrasive" side, I will receive that exhortation with peace. Yes, I have an abrasive side, especially when I feel other posters are deliberately trying to debase my thoughts on the dinar future. I have several associates who are dinar owners, and believe me, they are so deeply mired in the guru talking points that they will never, NEVER, reconsider their decision to buy dinar. That is the side to this investment that is so frustrating. I don't like using the word "cult", but it is very much like that. There is such a concerted push to brainwash the investor with thoughts of instant riches that chanting "GO RV" becomes a brain worm mantra. Any attempt by others to bring a glimmer of logic into the discussion gets hammered down by the guard dogs instantly. ABRASIVE? you bet. And so are you and others. Constantly. That's why all the great free thinkers who once posted on this site have pretty much left for greener pastures. You folks drove them off with YOUR abrasiveness!

  16. Touche', Jax. I liked your response. You are full of baloney, but I liked your answer. At least it's a change from the shill-like responses I always get from caz. But, if you actually believe you will wake up tomorrow a millionaire and can then trot down to your local WF to cash in....well.....you might be a Bernie supporter!

  17. "Warnings and awareness are fine..once or twice". What are you..the posting police? I have just as much of a right to present alternative ways to make money on the dinar as you do to say "Go RV" with every breath. If you don't want your mind tickled, stay where all you ever hear is Go RV. You will be much happier within that bubble. Free thinkers gravitate to the pot because that's where the action is. If the heats too hot, then hop out of the pot!

  18. It is what it is. The one thing all the guard dogs can't dispute is an unchanged dinar since 2009. Opps, I am in error. It is now 1182. If you want to keep promoting a big RV, it's fine with me. Your motives for doing such is in question of course. If you hold to your views despite all the evidence to the contrary.....well its got to be for one of two reasons. You figure it out.
