  1. "Moderation in all things". Politics have been ugly for a long time. I forget the candidates' names, but in the late 1800s (presidential race) it was an open secret that one of the candidates had a bastard son. So his opponent came up with a campaign slogan of "Ma, Ma, where's my Paw? Gone to the White House, haw haw haw!" Slogan backfired and the candidate with the son won. Now THERE's Dirty Politics for you!
  2. Thanks for the link. I expect Trump is coming from a perspective that many Democrats are surely going to do this, so Republicans need to do it too; i.e. the best defense is a good offense. Sad that the political climate in our country is so nasty and fouled by a total lack of trust on either side of the aisle. Hasn't been all that long ago when Congressmen of the opposite party of the sitting President called themselves the "Loyal Opposition". In today's political environment unfortunately, such a concept would be laughed to scorn. Thanks for the kind words about Louisville. I moved to this area in 1982 and have stayed all this time. Pretty much a Southern town in temperament and pace, but big enough you can find most anything you would ever want here. Kentucky Derby being a world class event lends a touch of panache to Louisville's prestige.
  3. Not joking at all. I seldom watch commercial TV and have avoided much of the news what with all the rioting/burning/gunfire, etc. I live in metro Louisville and in some of downtown the stores are boarded over. Oprah apparently has taken an interest in our Fair City, having placed Brionna Taylor ads on over a dozen area billboards. In this kind of environment I'm wary of political statements which I think is a reasonable attitude to have.
  4. You got links to this? I'd really like to see this.
  5. To repeat, in 2016 Obama encouraged illegal aliens to vote. So far I haven't heard Trump encourage people to cheat and I'll be surprised if he does. Frankly I liked voting years ago before computerized voting. I called it the Blue Haired Brigade, where most of the precinct workers were elderly widows who looked like people you could trust.
  6. Trump isn't creating the problemb the Democrats are. THEY'RE the ones trying to legitimize mail-in (as opposed to absentee) ballots.
  7. High Dumb Quotient exhibited by Trump haters in this thread.
  8. Trump's just pointing out what's GOING TO HAPPEN, he's not asking Democrat voters to vote twice, we all know a great many of them who can get away with this will do so.
  9. I certainly did, but you couldn't find coverage of this from CNN, MSNBC and the usual MSM shills for the Left.
  10. Don't forget; OBAMA encouraged illegial aliens to vote in 2016. As sitting President and head of the Democratic party no less. Small wonder Trump is concerned about voter fraud in this election.
  11. Hillarious's Election? Pick a scandal; ANY scandal.
  12. The left started fighting Trump's presidency before his inauguration. Remember they actually went to individual electors and tried to talk them into changing their required votes for Trump in the Electoral College?
  13. Well done! Genius has limits but stupidity has NO limits!
  14. I found the very last part of the article interesting: ""the nuclear deal between the United States and other major powers and Iran would be in favor of Iraq and is in line with the aspirations of the stability and the start of a new chapter of harmony among different countries. Read more: http://dinarvets.com/forums/index.php?/topic/200399-parliamentary-citizen-the-next-meeting-will-see-the-inclusion-of-oil-and-gas-law/#ixzz3WkQE92SA FWIW Rush today said the nuclear deal with Iran was BAD for Iraq. Myself, I have no idea. Haven't paid attention like I suppose I should have. Isn't Obama trying to push something through Congress without even producing the document of agreement between the US and Iran? Or do I totally misunderstand?
  15. I'm more the Lone Ranger type; gimme my Silver Bullets.
  16. This just in: DinarVets is rolling out a Super/TopSecret service where the real deal will be spelled out. One catch: Payment for subscription will be in 50 dinar notes only, and the service starts May 1st. Gotcha!!!!
  17. Newby here, just wondering; does Iraq follow Sharia law; anybody know?
  18. 10 cents? Pfffft. I'm holding out for $3.75. :)
  19. A pressing concern in my mind is ISIS. How far into Iraq have they invaded? How much do they control? Has the U.S. government actually made a concrete commitment to defeat ISIS? It's difficult for me to foresee real progress on the RV until we get ISIS out of Iraq altogether. Any thoughts/input on these questions?
  20. Right. I'm new to this but I'm not totally ignorant, and if you think a quarter of a mill dinar is significant, then I'm wondering just how small an opportunity you see in this thing. My friend who got me started in this is a professional horse farrier (shoes horses, other work with horses) and has extremely wealthy clients who own multi-millions of dinar. So thanks for the warning. Uhhhhh, by the way, to repeat my question, who is Breitling?
  21. I am pretty much brand new to all this (only own about a quarter million dinar); who is Breitling? Some financial newswriter or blogster? Does he (or she) have a first name?
  22. eBay is an excellent way to buy dinar, I've picked up my modest investment there, buying one 25K bill at a time. I'd expect it's a good way to sell, too. Just go to Advanced Search, look for Completed Listings and you'll get an idea what the market will bear there. Roughly speaking it's been selling for about U.S. $1,100-$1,200 per million Iraqi dinar. Edit To Add: There's a listing on eBay right now where a seller is asking $4,975 for 5 million dinar.
