  6. I’m selling. I have a little over 1 million uncirculated.
  7. My family and I have hit a rough patch. We must sell 1 million dinar. We are in the Phoenix area. Please call me 606 306 2652 if you are interested.
  8. What effect, if any, will the IMF have on the possible RV?
  9. Nashville's mayor certainly isn't speaking for Eastern TN. Here, there is a huge push to remove many refugees already here. Knoxville is having trouble already. I heard one of UT's games received a bomb threat. The good ole boys here do take their football seriously. The number of people carrying is visibly increasing. It seems many more trucks are being equipped with gun racks and more people being vocal about protecting their own family, property, etc. Heaven help ISIS if these good ole boys get hold of them.
  10. He wants to perpetuate the last 8 years. This comment reflects his commitment to sectarian policies and probably will re energize the Sunni and Kurd factions ( if they need it).
  11. Actually, I was making an observation that too many Americans are too willing to sacrifice freedoms. You asked why didn't the Feds shut down the website. I was also attempting to answer that question. The first amendment protects speech.LGD, I never said I wanted to prevent Christian speech. I said I wanted to give people a forum to engage in religious debate without hijacking threads.
  12. This is a statement that reflects the core of what lead to the problems in America. We have been too ready to give up small freedoms to "protect" ourselves. Freedom of all speech is necessary for freedom of any speech. I find this sort of speech completely abhorrent but will go to my grave to defend the right to say it. Without doing so, our rights are worthless. We have only the rights someone deems proper.
  13. I agree! It usually is and it is only recently that it has become otherwise.
  14. Tbomb, I appreciate all your hard work. You are one of the reasons I visit this site. I know how much time and work goes into finding these articles, translating them, and attempting to educate. Please don't allow small minds to dim your hope, enthusiasm, and bright light in an otherwise murky dinar landscape.
  15. I thought this was likely to be the response from some. I thought it was worth a try. A couple of you mentioned that I have been involved in some of the threads that end up hijacked. I freely admit that and in the thread where I first brought it up, apologized for doing so. I don't find Christianity offensive. I find the complete hijacking of threads away from the original topics to be offensive. Recently, religion is the topic which seems to cause most of the hijacking. Nelg, the stop reading tactic was working fine for quite awhile. The problem is that the threads are being hijacked, reoriented to the original topic and then hijacked again. I was missing pieces and ideas by just stopping reading when a hijacked started. Not to mention that some of the worst hijackers are also solid contributors to the forum. The ignore list for these people isn't practical and would make reading here almost worthless. I typically enjoy your posts, long or not, and read the vast majority. Goldie, thank you for the compliment. I have tried very hard to keep my personal bias out of posts on religion here. I am glad I succeeded. As for being a shite stirrer, maybe it seems that way. I have a habit of making statements that cause debate. Unfortunately, my life away from the computer often causes me to be unable to post for blcks of time and the debate has moved on when I get back. Bamagirl, I don't want to eliminate all discussion of religion. As you point out, that is impractical. I am just suggesting that there be a place for some of the religious debate which is currently hijacking threads. Right now, if an issue opens up a religious debate like the recent one about peaceful Muslims, there really isn't another place for that to be debated. Off topic would be about the only option. I don't want to eliminate the ability to discuss such things. I just would like to see it moved out of the news forum. Markinska, thank you for the clarification. Djorgie, I don't want to eliminate it. I just want to not be wading through it to get the news. If I have 15 minutes to read news, I don't want to spend 10 of it on religious stuff. It would appear this isn't a viable option. I thought I would pose it. Thank you for the feedback each of you.
  16. I mentioned this is a post a couple days ago. Is there any possibility of a forum being created for religious discussion? I know we have many people deeply committed to their religion, spirituality, whatever term works. I, for one, have been considering not coming to this site because lately so many threads are getting hijacked. I come here for information and intelligent discussion on DINAR. I know so many of the events, etc include Islam and it's philosophies. I don't wish to eliminate relevant discussion but 4 and 5 pages of preaching and/or debate about the right/wrong of a particular belief is too much. I shouldn't have to feel like I have just attended an all day church service in order to read my news.
  17. Thank you, Ezra. I am SO tired of having to wade through religious propaganda to get my information on the dinar. This is, in my opinion, the best and most reliable site for information but I have been considering not coming here because religion is pervading the boards. I understand many of you have deeply held beliefs which urge you to share in everything. For the sake of those who may simply want the news, can we either take religious discussion to another board or the mods perhaps start a board for religious discussion. I have upon occasion been guilty of bringing religion into a thread or feeding the trolls in regard to religious debate. I apologize to the members for doing so and will refrain in the future.
  18. I don't like the word study either but think it is a good thing to do. Maliki is sneaky and conniving. I don't put it past him to have orchestrated some punative clauses in the budget. They might need to weed those out.
  19. Is there a translation of this? I want to get excited but experience urges caution.
  20. Once again, Maggie, you astound me. Any competent and reliable researcher knows not to trust/quote Wikipedia. It is user editable and often wrong. If you wish to engage in meaningful dialogue based on sound logic and reasoning using reliable information (as you claim to demand) start by providing it yourself. Beyond this, Theseus told you it was a biased website in his post. Attempting to discredit an entire post based on one reference the author told you ahead of time was biased is truly throwing the baby out with the bath water. I don't think you would like me throwing out your post because you quote something highly Christian.
  21. Theseus, thank you for your insightful post. I did not have time to go pulling the chapter and verses out for Maggie today. Your post and the response shows me how futile the effort would have been. I appreciate the time you put into your post. Maggie, your spilling of vitriolic acid is unwarranted and a clear sign you know you have been shown to be wrong. It amuses me to see Christians proclaiming peace and love to the exclusion of logic turn to this sort of low class posturing.
  22. Maggie, I know what you are trying to say. You are entitled to your opinion and way of doing things. Mine is simple. I go to the source whenever possible and in as near to the original as possible. I do not read Arabic so I have been dependent upon translations. I have read the entire Koran in an English translation I acquired at a bookstore. It is possible, I suppose, that this translation was completely inaccurate and the Muslims you spoke to were completely honest with you, an infidel. The Koran is FULL of references to killing the infidels. The pieces you quoted are carefully culled from the Koran for the exact use you demonstrated. There is a strong push to make Islam appear more peaceful. Truthfully, if your Muslim, it can be. For those of us who are infidels with no desire to be converted, there is no peace. Until you have read for yourself what makes up this faith, btw the Koran is only a small part of it, please refrain from preaching the Islam line of "peace". It is only peace for those willing to convert. I cannot tonight but will get the references for you. It is likely to be tomorrow evening.
