  1. Does the non oil sector not have enough financial utilities available to buy into some solar back-up? They have a mass abundance of sunlight to make it work, right?
  2. VISA would probably like to sign up to take care of IRAQ's newly passed Food Security law. All that dough needs to be distributed into mass accounts in a timely manner on a regular basis. VISA is an expert in this manner.
  3. They really can't use trade exchange to fix the water issue, because they desperately need all the trade they can get and more whilst they improve the countries trade palate for a diverse economy. What they need from those countries is water cooperation. Might have to turn to international help for resolution. It's gone on long enough.
  4. IT seems like Iraq's lack of an Oil and Gas Law (HCL) is back firing on them. If international oil companies only check for common things in their contracts, AND NOT IF THE COUNTRY HAS IT'S HCL UP AND RUNNING, then this is purely Bagdad's to thank for never straightening it out. Are international oil companies supposed to meddle in a countries oil and gas laws? I think not. But I'm no expert on the matter. We Really need a cartoonist to illustrate how foolish this all looks! How on earth can Iraq pick up the slack of the Russian oil issue with this garbage going on with Iraq having no HCL? Iraq claims they can do it, but they look very unorganized to me!
  5. It seems to me that a countrywide HCL would solve the problem. If the central government wants all of the Kurdistan regions money, without an HCL in place, then how is this helping any of the Iraqi people? Does this possibly place the regions profits in the hands of criminal politicians? To line their pockets? At least the Kurdistan region shares their oil wealth with their region, because they have an oil and gas law for their region. The constitution says that the oil belongs to all of the people. The Kurds drill for oil in their area and do what they want with it. It wouldn't still be like this if the central government had already approved and enacted their HCL. Even Barzani commented on this. This federal suit is not really the way to handle the problem. The countrywide HCL really is. This is just my opinion from reading the articles. I'm no expert on the matter.
  6. The HCL would handle all this nonsense. Barzani even commented on it (in an article posted in the oil and gas thread). Iraq central government doesn't have an oil and gas law and does whatever with the countries monies without taking care of their people. Kurdiston region takes care of their people with their own oil and gas law. Years ago they were likely in the same boat as the rest of Iraq, until they decided to change their own fate without expecting the central government to do it for for them. I'm no expert, I'm just observing. Kurdiston region takes care of their people and Iraq, in general, does not (due to power control issues obviously).
  7. Wow... it sounds to me that Iraq could almost just "cease to exist" if can't get their shitte together. But I'm no expert on the matter.
  8. Kurdistan region doesn’t trust the central government to pay them, so they really don’t want to send them over all their paychecks. Central hasn’t had their shitte together for a long time. Probably why Kurds branched out on their own years ago. I’m no expert. Just what I’m observing.
  9. It seems to me that Kurdistan region stands to loose its contracts with oil companies they are selling to unless the region goes with the Federal ruling. It seems to me that the whole region could go out of business if they don't. But I'm no expert on the matter. I wonder how long it will be before the first oil company, with a Kurdistan region contract, will be served with a law suit by the Federal Iraq government.
  10. Kurdistan Region and their constitution. Maybe they should become their own country. Iraq has oil fields in the west that they have started to re open, and plenty of opportunity for new fields. Does Iraq need the Kurdistan region? Does the Kurdistan region need Iraq? What a mess! Way beyond time for change!
  11. This pretty much says it all SMD. And who's the fool who made that decision? Go Brandon
