Thanks for this reminder juliebug. Sounds like even if we had an HCL the RV couldn't happen without Article VIII. This makes me wonder if an RV could happen with the Article VIII and without the HCL. Although the HCL would make a much nicer suitable environment.

Parliament has postponed the country from moving forward IMHO. The Council of Ministers voted on a bunch of things the other day. I say they take those important laws to be voted on in parliament and sent em over to the Council of Ministers. But I bet they'd get them done! I hate politics and this probably can't be done, but it felt good to just say it.

I wonder what would happen if suddenly no one wanted to buy their foolish dinar. Can't really have an auction if no one shows up. Is that a suitable environment?

Wow. Iraq is fortunate to have these experts so kindly bring forth foreseen conflict in this law... and it gives several hints on how to remedy and make it flow smoothly. It ALSO mentions....... So how can the National Oil Company even be a thing without the LONG-AWAITED "OIL AND GAS LAW!" !!!!!!!!
