  1. Shouldn't Luigi's posts go to the perspectives section since they're all perspectives of gurus?
  2. Technically by math's standards, you could answer with a variable and not be wrong.
  3. Today, I will not answer the radio call that your boyfriend has come home drunk and is beating you again. Today I will not answer the radio call that your 16 year old daughter, who is very responsible, is four hours late coming home from school. Today I will not answer the radio call that your store has been robbed or your house has been burglarized. Today I will not stop a drunk driver from killing someone. Today I will not catch a rapist or a murderer or a car thief. Today I will not answer the radio call that a man has a gun or tried to abduct a child or that someone has been stabbed or has been in a terrible accident. Today I will not save your child that you locked in a car or the child you were to busy to watch who went outside and fell into the swimming pool, but that I revived. No, today I will not do that. Why? Because Today I was killed by a drunk driver while I was helping push a disabled car off the highway. Today I was shot and killed during a routine traffic stop to simply tell someone that they had a taillight out. Today I was killed in a traffic accident rushing to help a citizen. Today I was shot and killed serving a warrant on a known drug dealer. Today I was killed by a man when I came by to do a welfare check because his family was to busy. Today I was killed trying to stop a bank robbery or a grocery store robbery. Today I was killed doing my job. A chaplain and an officer will go to a house and tell a mom and dad or a wife or husband or a child that their son or daughter or husband or wife or father or mother won’t be coming home today. The flags at many police stations were flown at half-mast today but most people won’t know why. There will be a funeral and my fellow officers will come, a twenty-one-gun salute will be given, and taps will be played as I am laid to rest. My name will be put on a plaque, on a wall, in a building, in a city somewhere. A folded flag will be placed on a mantel or a bookcase in a home somewhere and a family will mourn. There will be no cries for justice. There will be no riots in the streets. There will be no officers marching, screaming “no justice, no peace.” No citizens will scream that something must be done. No windows will be smashed, no cars burned, no stones thrown, no names called. Only someone crying themselves to sleep tonight will be the only sign that I was cared about. I was a police officer.
  4. Well, it isn't rocket science that if you comply with police officers, you'll walk away just fine, but I think we know that the people on the anti police movement aren't exactly rocket scientists. Bless their hearts.
  5. Probably in the coming days aka never Probably in the coming days aka never
  6. I'm the guy who said he should be banned. I doubt that's very buddy-like.
  7. Something has occurred to me in the past month or so. While I am absolutely totally 110% for marriage equality, it was a victory that I take with a very sick stomach. 5 people made a landmark decision and redefined a fundamental right for the people of America. That is not the way I wanted it to happen. We now live in a time that if very few people want it, it will happen without any sort of checks and balances. This is wrong, people. On a whim, things can change. We no longer run this country by the people and for the people. While I'm happy that marriage equality passed, I was hoping it would be state by state and willfully. Whose to say the next SCOTUS decision won't be about say... An "assault weapons" ban or limiting the first amendment? This is scary. I feel like I'm just a stroke of a pen away from becoming a criminal just because 5 or so people say I am.
  8. Well this is obviously the gun's fault. If it hadn't have tempted the young angel to commit such an atrocity, none of this would have happened.
  9. I wish it were banned. Rumors have a possibility of being true. These are outright lies. For some reason, the members like this useless clutter. I'm beginning to think they're all trolls.
  10. Yeah, for real. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go claim my iPad on that free cruise I won from my long lost Saudi prince uncle who I've never met before.
  11. Doesn't matter what your religion or ethnicity is. What matters is your stance on issues and how well you present yourself professionally and in a leadership role.
  12. Yeah, and I'm trained too, but if I'm responding to a threat like that, and all I see is the business end of the gun, I might take action. You don't point a weapon at a police officer. It's not rocket science. By the way, the bb gun is the first picture Dog posted. Betcha didn't know that.
  13. He had a Crossman pistol bb gun. I used to have one of those and it doesn't have an orange tip. To someone having to act with quick judgement, you might not be able to differentiate it from a real gun. The cops should get off scott free.
  14. I'm just not crazy about the Huracan. I liked the old Murcielago better. If I'm going to buy some kind of European sports car, it's going to be one of these, which basically has the same engine.
  15. Making stuff is fun. We made a flashlight once out of a spraypaint handle thing, an LED, a toggle switch, a work light, and some batteries. It was sketchier than a Craigslist date but it was fun.
  16. Debate? Jesus Christ, dude. xDMaybe if you read into it you'd realize by the song I posted that it doesn't even matter to me.
