Phillip, Any helps on getting Warka to return emails? I have wanted to get a report on my stock holdings and even try to buy more stocks but for 18 months I have received no answer. TIA

Moneysoon, When corresponding with Warka how much information do you give them? I certainly don't want to give them my account numbers but how much information as far as contact information did you provide with your email request? TIA

Money, that's also way I believe they still display the "feed problem" statement. When it is changed you will be heading to the bank!

I too have sent numbers emails and have had no response for 6 months. I still have access to my account and my numbers are still good. I cannot view my stocks purchased still. Can any of you?

Forbes on Fox led with story asking if it's time to give all Iraqis a monthly payment for their oil revenue! All agreed this would give the citizens a reason to fight for their country and support the new leadership. They talked about transferring these payments to the average Iraqi by means of electronic transfer using cards. They discussed the fact that Obama should receive credit for finally getting Maklii out and this new government in. They talked giving Iraqis greater spending power and property rights, thus giving them greater pride and support for their country. I might be looking at this through dinar goggles, but when our media starts talking about this – it's probably in the plan to be carried out in Iraq already. IMHO

I, too, am able to login in after writing them for a week. I still have not received any response per my ISX orders I have submitted to them five different times! But I am looking forward to the interest payment!!!

I have had the same problem with not only getting a copy of my ISX portfolio but also completing my stock orders.

I would believe this is a good sign for Warka, its customers and the Iraqi banking system!

I believe having an ISX account at this point is just another option ensuring that you're going to benefit off this adventure in the speculative investment. What else can you get literally on the "ground floor" of a stock exchange for fraction of a penny on the dollar? I have found it difficult to purchase additional stock through Warka on the ISX. Has anybody else had that experience?

You don't charge tariffs, sell bonds, mint gold coins and have the Bank of international settlement want to use your currency on their books if you are going to maintain a "program" rate.

This coupled with the abnormalities of the CBI website, especially the Arabic side, seems to indicate that there is a change coming. When is the question. How long can they charge tariffs and sell bonds without publishing the rate?

When Iraq goes international with its currency I would believe the banking sector will take off as investment money from around the globe comes pouring in.

IMO the postponement is all about timing. I believe they have already agreed upon the budget with a new rate but are just stalling to make sure all is in order before they release the info to the world. If the budget with a new rate would come out and they would not add significant value (RI or RV) to the dinar there would be a run on their money and that would be devastating. IMO this is done. They are just figuring out timing. Notice ... no one is saying they don't have a budget! And there is no apparent major disagreement with the items in the budget. Be prepared for things to more fast ... very fast.
