  1. Hi Adam... I've been thinking about taking the plunge on the OSI/name reserve. Can you share anything more about how the Belize part of it works - Do I have to physically go there, either to take my corporation's money there or set or the bank account, or anything else? How much does it cost to set up the bank account in Belize and/or any minimum deposit requirements? Thanks.
  2. Hi Adam - I've been daydreaming, thinking ahead to what happens after we get that thrilling message from you and subsequent directions on what to do next. I'm picturing that I may be taking my dinar currency to a bank that you point us to. I'd then have to hand it over to some bank employee to "verify" (?!!) or check the authenticity or some such. Then I would have tax forms or other paperwork to sign, and hopefully they would deposit a lot of bucks in my account. Do you think it would go something like that? Obviously I'm nervous about handing over my currency and not getting ripped off. I'm wondering if there is something I can do to prepare - I've opened an account with a big name bank - I think they will have resources that my local bank doesn't and that might be important for post-RV cash-in. I've also made copies of all my currency so I have records of all the serial numbers. Is there anything else you can suggest or let us know what to expect? Thanks very much.
  3. Okay, think I messed up last time, photo wouldn't upload. Let's try this one...
  4. What is the significance of the change in the dinar currency - the new bills that started being issued in August 2014? How confident should we be that all currency (pre- and post- August 2014) will be honored in an RV Do you think they are setting the stage to redeem only the newer notes? Anything happening in-country on this - like Iragis exchanging their older notes for the newer ones? I have seen almost nothing on the subject of the change in the currency, maybe I'm not looking in the right places? Thanks!
  5. Adam: Two questions: 1. If/when the CBI RV's the dinar, wouldn't that touch off crazy inflation in Iraq? I mean, if every dollar (or dinar,or whatever currency) you own became worth $1000 overnight, you and everyone would be flush with cash, and the price of goods would skyrocket as a result. Seems like that would be a big deterrent for an RV. Please tell me how/why this is wrong, how do you see this? 2. I bought most of my dinar a few years ago, but have been excited recently and bought some more. My recently purchased 10k notes look different, they have more high tech looking security features. New and old notes have horsehead watermarks; new ones have "windows" in the bills covered by mylar strips bearing holographic symbols and a few other differences. (All - new and old bills bought from the same (hopefully) reputable dealers, certificates of authenticity, etc.) A Google search turned up info on new dinar currency being issued starting in August 2014. I assume that new and old bills will be honored the same in an RV, but I haven't seen any discussion of the change in currency or what it might mean in the forums here. Maybe I've totally missed it, or can't come up with the right terms to search with? Can you offer any info or insight or direct me to discussion of the meaning of the changes to the currency? Thanks very much!
