Maliki first; the Kenyan second!

Saleh stresses that "the bank has enough to dispel these procedures bubble within a few hours of shut down and restart the situation to what it was previously."
What does this mean?
And good morning Yota

It is midnight there...does anyone have a friend who can confirm that they got money on their card?
I will put out some feelers, Snow. Good idea

Don't you have a litter box, Kitty Cat?

When Yota talks people listen! Thank you Yota!
Yota is the man!

easy there Deborah....you might start sounding like a guru haha
Omg, I WISH! Being a dinar guru has been my dream ever since I was a little girl. The legions of fans. The masses, clinging to my every word. The kickbacks on reserves!!
To dream...the impossible dream...

The really important thing to see with regards to the bonds is WHERE will they be traded. They can be available only to Iraqis, or they can be the types of financial instruments that are traded on the international financial markets. If it's the latter, once again, this is another indication that Iraq is about to open their economy to the rest of the world. Ch-ching!!!!
I've got a friend who is keeping a close eye on the bonds being traded internationally, as in right here. Word has it a major bond company has been waiting with its finger poised above the SELL button for weeks. I guess they're on hold and tired of waiting just like the rest of us.

Indeed it has.Hun, I don't know what to say.
This has finally gotten mind boggling.
I told myself a few weeks ago that if budget opens with no RV I'm going to find a new hobby.
Now I'm just trying to remember what year's budget they have again failed to open.
What's up with the budget anyway? It's like the biggest deal in all of Dinarland but...now where did we leave that pesky thing anyway? I think it rolled under the fridge. And once something rolls under the fridge, it's history.

Uhm, yes, I have a suggestion for this new and improved committee:
Why don't y'all go ask the CBI to revalue the currency, so that you don't need to keep forming new and improved Comittees for the Ongoing Discussions of Obvious Things?
Thank you,
A concerned American citizen

I don't know Deb, but 300,000 dinar is only about $240dollars.
That doesn't sound like a whole lot of money to me.
Unless, one dinar was worth say 10cents to 25cents.
I know. I guess the amount would be altered to reflect a new rate if a new rate is going to be included, but this is for January and February right?
I'm trying to get enthusiastic about this but I'm just not there,
Somebody help me see it.

I don't know if I like him saying "... the financial situation is not as bad as some might imagine"
-
So out of sheer curiosity, is there any indication that this suggests RV? Or do I have to put on goggles to see it? I'm either rusty or deadened to the subject of smart cards.
Looks like card people get their $ tomorrow, and maybe hard copy paychecks issued Wednesday...?

That's all- it was just Intel from several months back when maliki was yammering about selling bonds. Apparently the IMF said no bonds until RV or Ri or whatever. And suddenly he shut his yap.
Still, no bonds right?

He said implemented
The cat is correct.
He said 'implemented'
Lesson: always listen to the cat
-
The only Intel I have ever learned which has proven true is that the IMF said no bonds until RV

So is Hawrami saying they need their $$ or is he blaming DAASH for not keeping up their end of the bargain?

Yota - I believe I speak for everybody when I say... Thank you. You rock. You rock the casbah. The Sharif don't like it, but that's his problem.

Ahh. Which touches on Yota's thoughts that the banks are encouraging people to bring in their 50's to set up accounts with them.I tend to believe that they don't transfer them electronically due to the fact so many Iraqi's do not use a bank or electronic banking, therefore the banks have to have paper money on hand. Just like my local bank which gets money truckedin on a regular basis.

No, but your left eye makes you look a little crazy. Yes, I know I'm not Deb but how can I resist. Why don't you put a pic of your butt up and let us comment on that? Fun for all and especially Deb. Take her mind off Luigi and rubbing two brain cells together to start something. Maybe you could rub two cheeks together and see what that starts? Hahahaha Just having fun. You can have some back. It's all good.
Eww, eww, eww!!!

Thanks Yota. I like hearing positive news about the National Guard. It seemed to be important to Shabs when he was here a few years ago
