  1. Useless, stick to fries. You mentioned war on women, frankly the buzz words doesn't make sense to me but women have something to consider. Healthcare, pre-existing conditions, ability for contraceptives (for health reasons), RvW for health reasons. - I'm one to believe we speak for our own bodies within the law.
  2. Speaks volumes... WHAT CONGRESS LED US INTO THE GREAT RECESSION (June 2007 - October 2009? NOW THE OTHER IS LEFT TO TAKE THE HEAT AND GET US OUT.
  3. RvW to start... maybe Lilly Ledbetter afterwards... he avoids those equal pay questions. Others he have spoken about.
  4. What a *************** you are, get off it dude! If you are so informed, let's digress to this for a moment: What were the policies from 2000 to December 2012? Tax cuts for the rich; how that work for the country bonehead? Tax cuts were suppose to create more jobs, right? Why did Bush have problems creating jobs? Obama has struggled to get 5 million jobs in spite of congress idiot likes, like you. You keep threatening liberals and that's BS. Guess you had a bad day. Either some liberal had you on fries or cleaning toilets today. Even with today’s disappointing and troubling jobs report, private sector job creation under President Obama has far exceeded private sector job creation under President Bush. 40 months into his presidential term, there are currently more private sector jobs in the economy than when Obama came into office. At the same point in President Bush’s term, the total number of private sector jobs was still down 1.7 percent from where it began.
  5. HaHaHa man, woman, whatever, I've yet to see a reasonable remark from you. Maggie's a good Independent that's fedup with the entitled attitudes of the neocons.
  6. Carla, The Truth on the budget deficit: It’s true that Obama “inherited the biggest deficit in our history,” as he said on CBS. By the time Obama took office in January 2009, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office had already estimated that increased spending and decreased revenues would result in a $1.2 trillion deficit for fiscal year 2009, which began Oct. 1, 2008. In a detailed analysis of fiscal year 2009, we found that Obama was responsible for adding at most $203 billion to the deficit, which in the end topped $1.4 trillion that year. But that was just the first of four years of trillion-plus deficits. The last three budgets fall squarely under Obama. And, during that time, the federal government had to continue these payments of $1.3 trillion in 2010, $1.3 trillion in 2011, and about $1.2 trillion in the fiscal year that ends Sept. 30 — for a total of nearly $5.2 trillion in deficit spending. Obama have not been able to work with congress for larger reductions. Reps and Dems are not agreeing. Republicans rip him for not keeping his promise of pulling the 2 parties together; thats like betting your psychiatrist he can't cure you. :LOL He's also ripped for not reducing budget, creating jobs quicker etc... but they refuse to support any success stories of President Obama and the state of the economy. Goal was to make him a one term President - they're coming very close to that!
  7. Cris is sitting in Granny's rocker with this vision. I agree with your earlier statement Maggie, it's much like believing all the dinar rumors. Heck that's why 99.999 percent are here! Vulnerable to a fantastic story!
  8. We don't know the chain of command in the area. There are people in charge and I'd like to know how that person came to his delayed decisions. I believe they have to be concerned with placing troops in harms way - but did it really take that long to assess the situation?
  9. We have to find out WHO denied the help! WHO did not make the decision to move quicker! Where is the failure? We can't just blame everyone when someone had a job to respond! SOMEONE HAS TO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE!
  10. No no, I wouldn't think that's your m.o. Thx
  11. Neg for that... small-minded folks unwilling to talk discuss the topics!
  12. Now that's a simple and complete response I can appreciate. I can say that Romney has stated over turning RvW and allowing states to manage at their level. Is that Pro Life or Pro Choice or just not wanting to lead? Right to bear arms - Nothing showing Obama has anything against the Second Amendment. In fact he supports the Second Amendment. Again, thx for your reply.
  13. Do you realize I was asking about Romney? Thx Bama, I also believe in equal pay for women and anyone doing the job.
  14. What's your problem? cool.
  15. Ok, thx! What about equal pay?
  16. You know what I mean Bama. BTW: do you think any other rights would be taken away from women under a Romney administration?
  17. Come on Cris if you wish to chat with me on President Obama, please respect the name. Arguing freedom of speech on spam type letters and spam type products of division is not a distraction but lazy thinking. Is there a need for easy answers and half baked solutions? Integrity, how do you know? Or what part of his history bring you to that consistent point? • the state of being whole and undivided • the condition of being unified, unimpaired, or sound in construction • internal consistency
  18. Sounds like common sense and integrity required. Not even a very clever production; and now we hide behind spam labeling it freedom of speech? Man is getting to lazy to think.
  19. Easier to get to real points when theres some level of respect.
  20. Think outside of those buzzwords, redistribute and class warfare. We need congress working together on taxes and job plans. Those buzzwords only create distractions. We can't make a living with those words, only politicians and talk show hosts. Agree.
  21. Not new. Same positions packaged to appease a few people. A campaign move.
  22. Okay Cris, how would you improve the system to get our kids educated?
  23. Write your congress person. One thing, I've read about it but still don't know why they started free phones - but it was prior Obama.
  24. What is a job plan? Let's say it's a series of situations induced by the government to get more citizens back to work. Capitalism will continue as long as supply and demand exists. Also as long as visionaries are supported with financing. Obama administration has worked to get banks lending again, economy is growing and over 5 million jobs have been produced during the last 36 months. Other things could have been done with bi-partisan agreements if they would talk. We know what one party declared on the other. POTUS plan is a continuation of what he have started. Congress has to go to work to help job growth. The POTUS has the same focus for the next 4 years. I'm sure you guys would just make immature humor instead of looking at the progress and speaking with intelligence. Romney has stated the economy is improving; and he doesn't need to make any changes for the economy to continue improving if he gets in office. Pupil/Teacher Ratio For public schools, the number of pupils per FTE teacher—that is, the pupil/teacher ratio—declined from 22.3 in 1970 to 17.9 in 1985. After 1985, the public school pupil/teacher ratio continued to decline, reaching 17.2 in 1989. After a period of relative stability during the late 1980s through the mid-1990s, the ratio declined from 17.3 in 1995 to 16.0 in 2000. Decreases have continued since then, and the public school pupil/teacher ratio was 15.4 in 2009. By comparison, the pupil/teacher ratio for private schools was estimated at 12.5 in 2009. The average class size in 2007–08 was 20.0 pupils for public elementary schools and 23.4 pupils for public secondary schools. There's no doubt the U.S. need to compete more in education overall in comparison to other nations.
