  1. Okay thanks, perhaps the second year of Obama's term.
  2. Can I assume your husband's financial position changed between 2008 and 2009?
  3. Can you not read and comprehend a chart or table / there's no other explanation. I'm with you Elixirbaby. There's no working together when there's animosity and blame. Government policies carryover, policies don't end when a political official retire; that's understandable and reflects on their administration. That's a fact... but people assume it's a silly observation.
  4. When jobs are lost people revert to unemployment insurance and some eventually to government assistance. Debt rises because less taxes paid. Where's Bush when you need him to do what? Didn't he do enough in those 8 years? Didn't you get your fill by 2007, 2008 or 2009 - even 2010? Country recovering from policies and decisions by Bush & Cheney from 2001 through 2009. Without the new directions the economy could have been several times worse by 2010. Whoever wins in 2012 will receive the credit for a recovery that has begun despite McConnell's and Republican's priority to risk the country's welfare just to spite the Democrats. 5. Another premium example of post #18, weak and condescending remarks. And you'd like to believe those remarks. How frivolous.
  6. Carrello again, hitting all cylinders with facts that can't be disputed! Extraordinary post! Extraordinarily weak commentary from your readers. This is about comprehending success.
  7. GREAT Day To Post Democratic Platform, No Negatives! Just not in the mood to take advantage.
  8. Brave post Carrello ---- It's not Black --- It's Culture --- That's understandable! Evident that still more than half the country discriminate when they don't understand another culture.
  9. I'm not sure how my laughter came across. Your negative opposition on DV has no similarity to a non-conservative's opinion on any subject.
  10. I'm not going to make careless personal opinions if that's what you're asking. McConnell made their intentions clear from day 1. The impact of the standoffs are what they are, NO spinning the what if's. Not a way to recovery.
  11. That's not the way to recover from a strained period.
  12. I don't understand, even the given site, by Yota, says it's not true. What's the driving point here? http://www.truthorfiction.com/rumors/o/Obama-Master-Lock.htm The Truth: President Obama did make a speech at the Master Lock plant in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on February 15, 2012 but he never said this. The transcript and video of his visit are posted on the White House website. Click here for transcript and video. At first, we believed that this was someone's attempt at political humor but it turned out that there actually was a misidentification of the Wisconsin state flag for a union banner by Politico contributor Donovan Slack who covered the event in his February 15, 2012 blog. The article was corrected and this notice appeared below it: An earlier 44 blog post about Obama’s visit to Wisconsin incorrectly identified the Wisconsin state flag.
  13. Republicans play a major role in managing the country even when they do not hold the Presidency. It's no hidden secrecy they were a major agent in preventing progress of the country over the pass 4 years. Their movement, led and voiced by McConnell, to prevent this president from accomplishing more was a detriment to the country. Now they want us to turn the country over to them when it's clear they care more about party accomplishments than the country's welfare. They made no accuses to their goals. 2009 Go after Geitner; Show unyielding opposition to the President's economic policies; Begin attacking vulnerable Democrats over the airwaves 2010 Denial and Obstruction and do allow any achievements no matter the cost 2011 Jab Obama relentlessly 2012 Win the White House and the senate Even with the country on the brink of default, the Senate's highest ranking Republican says his "single most important" goal is to make Barack Obama a one-term president. "The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president," Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told National Journal's Major Garrett in October. Fox News' Bret Baier asked McConnell Sunday if that was still his major objective. "Well, that is true," McConnell replied. "That's my single most important political goal, along with every active Republican in the country." One question: Why would we accept these selfish and careless actions from our political leaders? Seems like disgruntle employees, we'd have to let'em go.
  14. There were plenty of deceptive stories... but don't tell me to watch a futuristic movie (2016). Can I use the writer at the tracks? BTW: I don't know about the racist undertones but I can't agree with same sex marriage... just can't!!!
  15. See my comments and the neg's underneath; answer is no, I don't think there's a chance of just getting along. If truly hopeful thinking please press +.
  16. I certainly got a kick out of it even though it was a little brassy. I was nervous for him and didn't know if he knew how to close. BTW: Just noticed your string regarding your nephew Ryan; he is a hero and sorry he and the family are going through this pain. There's no words to describe what they really do for us. Some give their lives. I hope the prayers have been enough strength.
  17. Nonstop - most, if not all, of these guys called Romney a liar long before he got the nomination. Now they bash and neg anyone that claims he's untruthful. That's roofless, contradicting and hypocritical; That's the American way! We destroy ourselves because the truth and righteousness of our constitution doesn't weigh enough in our country. Have a Great Weekend Everyone!
  18. LOL - Michelle Malkin is the most wack and hyped girl I've ever seen. Since we're playing kid games, how about those words we shouldn't forget; Stick and Stones May Break My Bones But Words Will Never Hurt Me. Com'on guys this is cheap. I agree with Carlos - for the most part.
  19. Why not just ignore this language because everyone doesn't think that way. Why even post this petty comment.
  20. I think every person need an ID, preferably a government issued ID, for clear identification to be presented at any time! As far as voting, there's an act to register to vote in which the state has an obligation to adequately follow their state and federal rules. Only U.S. citizens have the right to vote in federal elections.[12] In a few cases, permanent residents (Green Card holders) have registered to vote and have cast ballots, most without realizing that it is illegal; non-citizens convicted in criminal court of having made a false claim of citizenship for the purpose of registering to vote in a federal election can be fined and imprisoned for up to a year, then deported, and removal proceedings have resulted in several cases.[13] While the federal government has jurisdiction over federal elections, most election laws are decided at the state level and the true authority to interpret and enforce those laws comes at the local level. Usually the county election office is the place to start if you want to register to vote. The administration of elections can vary widely across jurisdictions. Registering to vote is the responsibility of individuals in the United States. Voters are not automatically registered to vote once they reach the age of 18. Every state except North Dakota requires that citizens who wish to vote be registered.[14] Traditionally, voters had to register at state offices to vote, but in the mid-1990s efforts were made by the federal government to make registering easier, in an attempt to increase turnout. The National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (the "Motor Voter" law) forced state governments to make the voter registration process easier by providing uniform registration services through drivers' license registration centers, disability centers, schools, libraries, and mail-in registration. Some states allow citizens to register to vote on the same day of the election, known as Election Day Registration.
  21. You're confused by my message. Wow, don't cry attack. Have a coke and a smile
  22. Cynical one-sided response isn't it? What are you insinuating GP? What kind of people cheat? What class/party do they come from? Of course we know the Acorn guy story. Do you think a large amount of people would risk prison again over 2 or 3 additional votes? How about the mail-ins? VERY DISTURBING THAT AMERICA IS NOT PASS THESE BROAD STROKES.
