I'd rather have neither. As a matter of fact, I wish they would outlaw parties. That way we would have to look at each candidate for what they stand for instead of voting straight down party lines. Then we wouldn't have any trouble figuring out these stupid bills that each side keeps trying to pass and block. It would also be great if congress were set up like parliment where at anytime during their term they could be ousted with a vote of no confidence. And could you imagine a government with term limits and no lobbiest?

If it was up to him none of us would get a dime. Believe me, he didn't invade thinking "one day I'll make a lot of people rich".

No. You are right. Bush didn't say he would be transparent. He just acted like he was. Like when he said,"We know for a fact that there are weapons of mass destruction". Or better yet. He was the only president in history to use no bid contracts so that his whole administration could get rich. They never did give up their intrest in Haliburton did they. So when everyone is casting stones be aware that you live in a glass house.

And you think this is any different than the last 8-10 Presidents and their "regimes"? Where have you been? Maybe you just put on the blinders when a certain party is in control. Amazing how people will be led blindly by either party.
