{Political: Al Furat News} The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, said that a prime minister or a republic in Iraq after 2003 did not end in prison or the gallows was among the "positives of the new phase in the country."

In his speech at the Middle East Peace and Security Forum hosted by the American University in Dohuk, Saleh said: "We hope that the elections will end with legal and constitutional results. A prime minister or a republic is to be imprisoned or to the gallows, as is the case for many countries in the region, and this is one of the positive aspects of the new phase in Iraq.”
He added, "Iraq faces a new serious challenge. Will we be able to overcome it? The next stage is a stage of great national entitlements. We have problems that require engaging in and structural treatment, including the problems of the federal government and the regional government."
And he said, "We are facing challenges of security and extremism, and these are not resolved by local measures, but rather require regional cooperation and communication, despite the fact that the differences in the region are deep.
Saleh pointed out that "the Middle East is in a new phase of transition, and it is a permanent transformation, but this stage represents a pivotal point in the region, and the hinge of these transformations is Iraq, and what happens in Iraq will have major repercussions in the region."

Al-Kazemi is the best PM Iraq has had since the war, and it would be in Iraq's best interest to have him continue as PM. However, Al-Abadi seems to be favored by the Sadrists at this time, so we shall see what happens.  Hopefully Al-Kazemi will be given a significant role in Iraq's new GOI ...!  JMHO - 

I also see it difficult for the bad guys with Ababi back in the picture . Much harder to remove 2 possible PM's instead of 1 if you are the enemy

While I think there will be a settlement, and that xrp will get clarity, there isn’t enough xrp to cover the Dinar in circulation. Trillions doesn’t divide into 50 Billion evenly at 1 to 1.20. I don’t believe there is any truth to this rumor. 

 

I do believe that they could create a CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency ) and give everyone digital Dinars for a trade in of their physical Dinar, and then using XRP as a bridge currency you could trade your Dinar for anything (US/ EUR/ CNY etc. The Central Banks are amazing for a net zero Carbon Economy and the legacy system doesn’t help their goals. Plus they want to tax everyone globally and they want to track every digital transaction… i.e. look at the proposal to send the IRS any transaction over $600 bucks…. The world is changing and XRP will be a part of it. But I don't think it will be linked to the Dinar

This by No means is a disagreement . But it is interesting that Iraq had a class on XRP.....
