"From Feb. 17, 2021, the SBV reduced the frequency of buying intervention to once a week on every Wednesday, instead of daily," the central bank said in an email to Reuters. "This move aims at letting the rate move in accordance with the market." Currency intervention is a sensitive issue for Vietnam since the United States branded it a "currency manipulator" in December for seeking to keep the dong from rising. Vietnam has seen a surge in export-led growth and a higher value for the dong could hurt its manufacturers and threaten this growth in the middle of a pandemic..Reuters earlier reported the SBV had this year ceased buying dollars in the spot market, where trades settle within days, and instead purchased them for delivery in July, a move traders said could help avoid drawing U.S. attention.The SBV said it stopped spot transactions from Jan. 4 and instead shifted to using derivatives called forwards - including an unusual provision allowing banks to cancel them - in order to ensure a flexible rate for the dong and to support liquidity.Vietnam has consistently said its currency policies aimed to maintain stability and control inflation, not seek trade advantage.The dong has barely moved in official spot markets this year, with a 0.2% gain and quoted around 23,020 per dollar on Monday. They would be taken off the list of manipulators . If no deal was made why not leave their currency alone and continue enjoying the unfair avantage ?

13 years ago . When my cousin introduced me to dinar . I was also told about crypto currency . Mainly bitcoin . Here we are in 2021 still following iraq and some of us crypto currencies .I have to belief now they are both more connected then what we might see .Countries around the world are quickly producing their own CBDC's. Alot of these countries are in debt . How are they suppose to back these digital currencies for launch . Its my beleif some of the wealth to back these CBDC's is coming from countries like Iraq along with their own resources and other currencies in their reserve . If this is the case . The pressure from the rest of the world is far to great for Iraq NOT to revalue there currency at some pre- chosen point .

I have been following the stock of one of the oil companies drilling for oil in Kurdistan for close to a year . When they show a raise although slight in value . I think it tells me when buget negotiations may be going well, Kurdistan pays them I imagine from what Iraq gives them ,the oil they secretly sold and from the raise of oil price . It's starting to go up in value .

No . I don't think he's Robinhood . In the past . When government officials and Iran wanted to slow progress . They would send suicide bombers , do auction thefts , counterfeiters , assainate other officials , rob banks and armored trucks , steal from ministries . What was your reason for the theft again ?

Once Iraq gives its people their purchasing power , share of oil wealth and a prosperous future. The people in power of Iran will be gravely threatened by their own people . Anything they can do to stall that they will do if they can .....? Go RV

A theft like this could be possibly be used to give reason to groups that don't want progress to say we don't have stability to move forward with reforms. A planned theft with a purpose for disruption . Not personal gain.
