  4. John, 3;16 For God so loved the World, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting Life.
  5. Thanks Delta for the post. It's should be good for everyone to stay informed but as some of my old grade teachers use to say, some may rather burry their heads in the sand like an ostrich. God bless
  6. Thanks sportfisher for your post and for your response to others.
  7. carboncoyote, tim22 is correct. The scriptures documents the following by the words of Jesus. John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. God is a spirit. KJV
  8. Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
  9. carboyncoyote I would suggest to you to talk to your pastor, to ask for help in understanding the scriptures. I think you are taking the scriptures out of the proper context. Please read the following verse which I believe is true for you. I pray you will find your way. In Jesus name I do pray. Ephesians 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
  10. Thanks for posting this Delta22, this information needs to be a wake up call to all Christians. I am guilty as I'm sure a lot of other Christians are of not putting Jesus first in our life. We need to make sure to attend church, and wittness for God spreading the Gospel, and show the world that there is hope through the Lord Jesus Christ. Again thank you Delta22. God Bless
  11. dhardage, Please take a look at the following information. It will inform you with the simple truth how you can be saved. The Lord Jesus Christ of you, me and all of us when he was hanging on that old rugged cross a little over 2000 years ago. He loves you dhardage or who ever you my be reading this. God Bless God’s Simple Plan of Salvation My Friend: I am asking you the most important question of life. Your joy or your sorrow for all eternity depends upon your answer. The question is: Are you saved? It is not a question of how good you are, nor if you are a church member, but are you saved? Are you sure you will go to Heaven when you die? God says in order to go to Heaven, you must be born again. In John 3:7, Jesus said to Nicodemus, “Ye must be born again.” In the Bible God gives us the plan of how to be born again which means to be saved. His plan is simple! You can be saved today. How? First, my friend, you must realize you are a sinner. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Because you are a sinner, you are condemned to death. “For the wages [payment] of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). This includes eternal separation from God in Hell. “ . . . it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). But God loved you so much He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, to bear your sin and die in your place. “ . . . He hath made Him [Jesus, Who knew no sin] to be sin for us . . . that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus had to shed His blood and die. “For the life of the flesh is in the blood” (Lev. 17:11). “ . . . without shedding of blood is no remission [pardon]” (Hebrews 9:22). “ . . . God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). Although we cannot understand how, God said my sins and your sins were laid upon Jesus and He died in our place. He became our substitute. It is true. God cannot lie. My friend, “God . . . commandeth all men everywhere to repent” (Acts 17:30). This repentance is a change of mind that agrees with God that one is a sinner, and also agrees with what Jesus did for us on the Cross. In Acts 16:30-31, the Philippian jailer asked Paul and Silas: “ . . . ‘Sirs, what must I do to be saved?’ And they said, ‘Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved . . . .’ ” Simply believe on Him as the one who bore your sin, died in your place, was buried, and whom God resurrected. His resurrection powerfully assures that the believer can claim everlasting life when Jesus is received as Savior. “But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name” (John 1:12). “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13). Whosoever includes you. Shall be saved means not maybe, nor can, but shall be saved. Surely, you realize you are a sinner. Right now, wherever you are, repenting, lift your heart to God in prayer. In Luke 18:13, the sinner prayed: “God be merciful to me a sinner.” Just pray: “Oh God, I know I am a sinner. I believe Jesus was my substitute when He died on the Cross. I believe His shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection were for me. I now receive Him as my Savior. I thank You for the forgiveness of my sins, the gift of salvation and everlasting life, because of Your merciful grace. Amen.” Just take God at His word and claim His salvation by faith. Believe, and you will be saved. No church, no lodge, no good works can save you. Remember, God does the saving. All of it! God’s simple plan of salvation is: You are a sinner. Therefore, unless you believe on Jesus Who died in your place, you will spend eternity in Hell. If you believe on Him as your crucified, buried, and risen Savior, you receive forgiveness for all of your sins and His gift of eternal salvation by faith. You say, “Surely, it cannot be that simple.” Yes, that simple! It is scriptural. It is God’s plan. My friend, believe on Jesus and receive Him as Savior today. If His plan is not perfectly clear, read this tract over and over, without laying it down, until you understand it. Your soul is worth more than all the world. “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul?” (Mark 8:36). Be sure you are saved. If you lose your soul, you miss Heaven and lose all. Please! Let God save you this very moment. God’s power will save you, keep you saved, and enable you to live a victorious Christian life. “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, Who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it” (1 Corinthians 10:13). Do not trust your feelings. They change. Stand on God’s promises. They never change. After you are saved, there are three things to practice daily for spiritual growth: Pray -- you talk to God. Read your Bible -- God talks to you. Witness -- you talk for God. You should be baptized in obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ as a public testimony of your salvation, and then unite with a Bible-believing church without delay. “Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord . . . .” (2 Timothy 1:8) “Whosoever therefore shall confess [testify of] Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 10:32). 12. Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. Lucifer Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. John 21:25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen. Titus 3:9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. the Authorized King James Version or KJV, is the word of God and the glory of the English language. For almost 400 years it has led multitudes to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and a whole new life in him and his word. The King James Bible has spread across the world reaching mankind generation after generation. It has saved, comforted, exhorted, rebuked, admonished, warned, enlightened, and edified without ceasing. King James VI & I, founding monarch of Great Britain, not only commanded the translation of the Authorised Version but he actually took an active role in developing the rules for translators and encouraging the completion of the work. The King's College website states, By divine providence, the King James Bible is still available to the true church today but, unfortunately, a plethora of modern perversions of the scriptures have sprouted forth from the earth like a field of so many tares. Men of corrupt minds have developed and sold many of these scurrilous productions that they call Bibles. Notwithstanding this grievous situation, the Authorised Version stands alone as the word of God. It is tried, true, and tested. For those that love it, the modern versions with their missing verses and inserted heresies are only impostors. The Authorized King James Bible alone speaks with the voice of authority and holiness and has done so for almost four centuries. For those looking for God, the website at this link may help you in your journey. It contains articles on heaven, hell, comparative religion, and much more; for those that are saved, the Deception Series provides critical information and insight on these last days Do you think that God does not or did not have the power by His Holy Spirit to inspire the writing of his word and not the power to have it physically done? of course he does. The Almighty whom holds every atom in his hand. The Authorized King James was transcribed I beg you, please don't spend your time trying to disprove the Bible, but spend your short time that you may have trying to find the lord. none of us know how much time we may have left. May God have mercy on us all
  13. Faith Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Hebrews 11:4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. Hebrews 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. Hebrews 11:8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. Hebrews 11:9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: Hebrews 11:10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. Hebrews 11:11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. Hebrews 11:12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable. Hebrews 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. Hebrews 11:14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. Hebrews 11:15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. Hebrews 11:16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city. Hebrews 11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, Hebrews 11:18 Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: Hebrews 11:19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure. Hebrews 11:20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come. Hebrews 11:21 By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff. Hebrews 11:22 By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones. Hebrews 11:23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment. Hebrews 11:24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; Hebrews 11:25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Hebrews 11:26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. Hebrews 11:27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible. Hebrews 11:28 Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them. Hebrews 11:29 By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned. Hebrews 11:30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days. Hebrews 11:31 By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace. Hebrews 11:32 And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: Hebrews 11:33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, Hebrews 11:34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Hebrews 11:35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: Hebrews 11:36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: Hebrews 11:37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; Hebrews 11:38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. Hebrews 11:39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: Hebrews 11:40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect. Gods word- Amen
  14. Come on Christian members and visitors, Testimonies are important, to show others how God is working in your life. You know that God is still on the Throne. Amen In these times, it is good for us to show our faith, and by giving your testimone you are telling others that God is real and he does Love them, and that Jesus his son is the way.
  15. This makes me sick also. How could a President of the Unites States of America make such statements and actions to be subservient to a Muslim Nation? Making a statement that we are no longer a Christian Nation and refusing to ware the American flag pin, does he not know how many Americans have died for our American flag and what it stands for? We need to get this video out to our friends and family quickly as possible. He should be impeached right now for these statements and actions. If we don’t do it now we need to be prepared for the election to boot him out of office. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God Indivisible with liberty and justice for all. I remember saying this every morning before our school class began, boy have times changed. I pray, Dear Heavenly Father thank your for you love and your mercy that you have shown this country since it’s founding. Please continue to look over us in these times of our individual needs. These are times like we have never had and we need your help like never before. Father listen to our prayers of hope that you have given us through your only begotten son Jesus. Our nation’s people are crying out for help from you, our leader ship is disgracing our Christian and moral values. Our pride for our flag is growing dim. Father give us the strength we need as a majority to stand up and say, NO MORE! Dear Heavenly Father, I know I speak for many when I say this still is a Christian Nation and we pray to you to keep it that way. In Jesus name I pray, Amen Please look at the video on the first post. Thanks and God Bless
  16. To the Black Swan, I do apologize for the statement about the pup tent. I should not have expressed my views that way and for that I do apologize. For the rest of I entered I stand by. God Bless
  17. The Lost[/ What are the characteristics of a lost person? Think about the lost child wandering helplessly in the woods, the life-rafted survivors of a plane lost at sea, or the elderly Alzheimer’s patient who has walked away from his home on a cold, dark night. Lost people are cut off from help and resources. They don’t know how to find shelter, protection, and provisions. Lost, disoriented people need help. Most people are lost. Most don’t know where they are, who they are, or why they are wandering aimlessly through life. Most people don’t know that they have come from the God of Adam, Abraham, and David. Most don’t know how to find this God. Most don’t know that there is a real heaven where relatively few people are going, and a real hell where the majority will lose everything they ever dreamed of having. Most people don’t know where to turn for real help. Most will die like the rich man Jesus described in Luke 16. There, with a pathetic picture of regret, Jesus described a conversation between the deceased rich man and his ancestor Abraham. The two were pictured as being separated from each other by a great gulf. Jesus related the conversation that occurred as the rich man cried out: “Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus (a deceased beggar who ended up in paradise with Abraham) that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.” But Abraham said, “Son, remember that in your lifetime you received you good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented. And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.” Then he said “I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house, for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.” Abraham said to him, “They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.” And he said, “No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent. “But he said to him, “If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.” (Luke 16:24-31) Notice how many profoundly disturbing insights this passage gives concerning the lost. It shows us how pathetic their condition really is. Christ helps us see through the highly temporary appearances of material well-being. He gives us a glimpse into the irreversible and miserable condition of the lost that shows why they need help and warning before it is too late. He shows us that…. • The lost may not look like they are lost (Luke 16:19) • The lost may not feel they are lost (Luke 16:19) • The lost may look enviable (Luke 16:19-21) • The lost will end up in torment (Luke 16:23-24) • The lost will plead for mercy (Luke 16:24) • The lost will find no relief (Luke 16:25-26) • The lost will not be able to warn others (Luke 16:27-31) Prior to the coming of Christ, lost people had the message of Moses and the prophets. Since the coming of the Son of God, Lost people have needed to hear that He died for their sins, that He was buried, and that He rose from the dead to give all who would believe in Him the gift of heaven and escape from the fires of hell.
  18. Swan I regret that to stay on topic with this post I can not talk bugs with you. The only thing that I will say relating to the topic of this post is bravo to the scouts for standing their ground. I pray that they will continue to uphold their standards. Also I will continue to pray to my Lord Jesus Christ to help and bless you. I have no doubt that he loves you just as much as he loves me.
  19. Before I leave let me explain to Genc610. If you were refering to my post. It was not saying anything about molesting anyone. It simply stated that they may be influenced by *** statements. Good night all, the chickens are going to roost so it's my bed time. God bless
  20. I guess I will have to take your word on that one. I have no desire to even look. But the normal for reproducing. I guess there may be a danger of the ones you listed of going extinct. There are no more buttons here for you to push. If so they would be to hard for you. Have a good evening Black Swan and Neodinar. God bless and I will be praying for you both.
  21. No denial or weirdness here, just stating my opinion as an biblical based adult who believes Gods word. I have a *** in my family and I don't hate him I love and care about this nephew as I do my other nephews. I have prayed that he will change his life style. But I don't think he can help who he is as far as being ***. He is not but suppose he wanted to be a scout troop leader, and was accepted in the scouts to do so, over a peiod ot time he may say over and over to young children that it is ok to be ***. Is that what they are in the scouts for? No it is not. How many children might he affect as to accepting the *** life style because of this. It is unnatural life style. Even in the animal world do you see two males or two females trying to mate. Black Swan if you are *** I have not tried intentionally said anything to hurt anyone personally. This is my opinion based on gods word.
