Speaking as someone who went through several budget stand offs in Ca. and getting paid once a month it can and does get rather precarious when you get a pay stub and it is blank. I was/am a person who was always looking for part time work so it did not feel to bad unless work slowed. I knew people that came close to loosing their house, but for the grace of God the banks worked with them after they explained and showed proof of their employment with the school district. I do not condone any illegal immigration and fully support a border barrier. Trump needs to do his elected job, enforce the law and build the barrier. Cut and dried, no grey area here.

Secure Fence Act of 2006

My President... Do your job. Under Article II of the Constitution, the President is responsible for the execution and enforcement of the laws created by Congress. ... The Executive Branch conducts diplomacy with other nations, and the President has the power to negotiate and sign treaties, which also must be ratified by two-thirds of the Senate.- 1 reply

This was pretty "Comprehensive" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immigration_Reform_and_Control_Act_of_1986 Reagan "Compromised" with Congress and got screwed in the process. Don't talk to me about compromise and Democrats in the same sentence. I don't believe them or trust them. https://www.azcentral.com/story/news/politics/elections/2018/02/11/kelli-ward-claims-president-ronald-reagan-regretted-1986-amnesty-law-did-he/1089297001/ excerpt from above article President Ronald Reagan's "biggest regret" was granting amnesty as part of 1986 immigration-reform legislation and then counting on Congress to secure the border, which never happened.

History will also show Trump had enough "Never Trumpers and Never Learners" in Congress to prevent any action he wanted. Not his fault the clowns in DC want what is best for them and illegal immigrants. The Democrats don"t want what is best for U.S. citizens and Republicans don't have the bolas to stand up to them. You said compromise is good. Every time a conservative "compromises" it is thrown back at them during an election and the Democrats don't carry through with their side of the deal. The word "Compromise" to a Conservative/Republican means" Bend over and take it.

All Trump and Congress have to do is follow the Constitution and all of this goes away. Protecting the U.S. Is in the Constitution, DACA is not. Dreamers are ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS who have broken the law. Deport them and have them go through the process legally. Why is that so hard to understand. And even if Trump did as you suggest, they would still want him impeached because of their hate for him.

Southern states are only the gateway in. All states are affected by it. All Americans are affected by it. Democratic leaders are all screaming "immoral and racist" but they voted for this same wall a few years back. Can't it both ways.

You are absolutely right. And the left has shown once again they have none. ( If you had said that I would not have responded and given a +. ) Not that you are looking for one. Pelosi, Shummer, Clintons and Obama have all said we need a border wall. When Trump wants it, it all of a sudden becomes a line in the sand they won't cross. As said in other post we know Trump is not perfect. If Trump folds to the Dems on the wall I and others will most likely not vote for him again.

Wow Starr. Thank you. Spot on. Act on it Democrats.

It is great for some but some cities restrict the installation of batteries. Don't get me wrong I am all for it. I had solar on my old house and loved it.
