  1. It's hard to express how sad it makes me feel knowing he wasn't able to make it to the end of this dinar ride. But I know the ultimate journey he's taken is much more important. He's found the ultimate RV; a heavenly home free of pain, cares and worries. What more could anyone ask for? God bless him forever, and also the dear friends that saw him through his final days. He left a legacy through them that will finalize the last chapter of his life here on earth; a loving and giving one. Peace to you Sarge...

The whole page is covered with killings and bombings. Hmm, who did M try to blame the violence on? He must be smokin some real good stuff. The nut next store in Iran and Maliki can be dangerous. Maliki and his side kick Auk Ma Nut already shut down Sadr's office in Tehran, now they are bombing his home, what's next? I mean really, I could be wrong it could be someone else, but not likely. All the signators have to fear for their lives. He may try to get them one by one. He still don't get it.

Urgent .. A bomb explosion near the house of Muqtada al-Sadr in Najaf

    Friday, June 1, 2012 22:01b_283_189_16777215_0___images_idoblog_upload_75_ghhgt.jpg

    [baghdad - where]

A bomb exploded near the home of the cleric Moqtada al-Sadr in Najaf this evening.

A security source told all of Iraq [where] that "an explosive device was placed near the home of the cleric Moqtada al-Sadr, as well as near Najaf television channel went off this evening in the Alhanana Najaf governorate."

"The blast wounded a police officer was seriously wounded and was evacuated to the hospital."

The source noted that "the target is not know whether the television or home Moqtada al-Sadr." Ended

Probably scare tactics to ward off the votes against him. Bet Sadr is ticked... and I sure wouldn't want Sadr ticked at me... uh-uh, no way! He's been tagged as the "Murdering Cleric"... Maliki would do well to watch his step when ticking Sadr off

  4. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. There's too many conflicting articles out to make a logical assumption, IMO. But, June sounds like a pivotal month for them; WTO on 7th, UNSC on 15th, Tarrifs on 30th. Hope they can fit an RV in there somewhere... :twothumbs:

Maliki is going no where folks dont buy into the propaganda that is taking place as we speak.

That goes along with what Delta says too. And he's over there... ;)

  5. Thanks Adam for a good chat and for keeping us all grounded. And thanks KCW for bringing it to us. I do have a problem reading the pink colored type though. My eyes are not so good, even with glasses, and I'm wondering if anyone else might be having the same problem. It's really pretty though. :) I do appreciate all you do to get it to us.

  6. i 2nd that about wang. his call and the_iqd_team are the only ones i listen to.

I haven't listened to the IQD team, but I'll give it a listen since you like it. It must be good since you like Wangdang. Did you know Wangdang had 2 conference calls this week? One on Sat. and another longer one on Sunday. Surprising, since he usually just does the one CC a week. Thought you might like to know in case you missed one of them...

  7. In all fairness to WangDang, that was only a tiny portion of his chat. I've followed him for quite some time and respect what he says. He's very grounded and backs up everything he says with legit news articles. He's a no-hype type of guy, just brings the facts to his chats.

  8. Thats horrible news......And this is exactly what I was thinking last night....

We had a GREAT article come out that seemed to say they were going to stimulate the economy and get the dinar on par with the USD, but that they were gonna take the draft of deleting the zeros off the table....

Now, an article talking about how the currency in circulation will reach 90 trillion in 2017 so they need to accelerate and push for redenominating.....

I evened you out Keep for the neg you got. Someone wasn't fair to you. Like it or not, I agree with you.

  9. I was listening to Kaperoni's "special call" a couple of days ago and at the very end BondLady came on the call and agreed with Kap's belief on the 1000 dinar to $1. articles, but then she chatted with Scooter yesterday on her website and said the total opposite, so I'm a little confused now on how she believes this will end up. I like both of them but this week has done nothing but confuse me.

  10. You are a newbie let me give you some advise, Don't believe anything coming out of Iraq news, 99.9% is nothing but pure lies. I would encourage you to listen and read article related to Dr. Shabibi hes the guy that you pay attention to. Right now he is not talking 1000:1 hes more on the lines of .86 and $1. Hes the guy that will pull the trigger..:lol:

Very good advice, mrref. You are spot on! Right now we're seeing a tremendous amount of crap coming out of Iraq and we all know it's deliberate. The real question is "why now?" Remember Adam saying there'd be a lot of this type of stuff towards the end? Who knows, maybe we're almost there. Staying focussed on what Shabibi says is important, not his minions... As always, JMO

  11. The most advantageous time for Shabibi and the CBI to raise the exchange rate is after Erbil implementation, a seated government, announcement of the strategic council, and prior to tariffs.

Great post SWFG, thanks. I think you're 100% on target... :tiphat:

  12. yes when they said 2 years that takes us into june so something should happen by then

My thoughts exactly... Especially with the tarrifs starting in June. :D

"The rate must increase prior to the tarffs going into effect." :partyhat:

  13. Official: Three major blocs to discuss retaining Maliki tomorrow

    Posted: May 22, 2012 in Iraqi Dinar/Politics

Tags: Ayad Allawi, Baghdad, erbil, Maliki, Massoud Barzani, Muqtada al-Sadr, National Iraqi Alliance, Nouri al-Maliki

ERBIL, May 22 (AKnews)- Leaders of the National Alliance, the Iraqiya List and the Kurdistan Blocs Coalition will meet tomorrow in Baghdad in a bid to overcome the political crisis in the country, an official said today.

In the meeting it is likely that the leaders will discuss the option to retain Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki for two more years, said Aref Tayfur, second deputy to Speaker for the House of Representatives Osama al-Nujaifi.

Tayfur expected that with the passage of time the tensions are becoming easier “because Maliki…. is increasingly showing flexibility towards resolving the issues.”

The reports over Maliki’s replacement grew stronger after Kurdistan President Massoud Barzani met in Erbil with Iraqiya List Leader Ayad Allawi and Muqtada Sadr, who leads the Shiite Sadr Current.

The leaders warned should Maliki continue his “unilateral” decision-making, they will withdraw confidence from his government. They set a two-week deadline for Maliki to implement the “overlooked” articles of some political agreements.

After the termination of the deadline, Allawi and Barzani met for the second time and reiterated their previous position against Maliki’s government. Both leaders directly or indirectly have described Maliki as a “dictator.”

There are also reports that Maliki has been given an extra week to fulfill the demands issued during the summit of leaders in Erbil.

Aref said one of the points that the parties have agreed on is to let Maliki rule for the rest of his second term (two years) but to bar him from nominating himself for the next term.

The official seemed optimistic about the meeting in Baghdad.

“I believe the current situation will get normalized but it will not settle as it ought to,” Aref said.

Maliki is under a “heavy pressure” said Kurdish MP Farhad Atrushi, “because the situation is getting tenser and this is neither in the interest of Maliki nor the Iraqi people.”

“Maliki has realized that now two major components which are Kurds and Sunnis as well as part of Shiites are not with him, therefore, he shows flexibility [towards settling the issues].

Atrushi expected the political crisis will get over.

Maliki was reinstated as PM by National Alliance (NA), the largest Shiite alliance which was created after the elections. Sadr Current is one of the components of this super bloc.

I think they have Maliki's hoo-hoos in a vise... He may be a little more inclined to implement the things that should have been done a long while back. :D

  14. Delta Comments - Post By Leo

    05/22/2012

    Delta Comments:

5-21-2012 Delta: If they no confidence Maliki then the replacement has to come from the National Coalition. This is the same group that Maliki controls.

There is no one in that group that can replace him. If Maliki was such a bad guy the US would take him out.

Maliki was put in there to hold the fort down until all was implemented and ready.

Maliki is getting more popular with the people. He would win the next election.

If Maliki was the problem, the PTB AKA the authors of the plan would take him out.

Talibani is pushing hard to get the National Meeting and I doubt there will be a no confidence.

Kuwait is totally cooperative to get things done on Chapter 7. The Euro deal signed last week is big move for Iraq to move forward globally.

The article about the 62 Billion says "the return of the dinar to world trading." This is really huge, this was from Shabibi.

The CBI is using new words when speaking now. Big time clues coming out.

On Iraq TV today, they talked about the new machines. Must be de la rue.

According to plan to lift the 3 zeros, the time frame would put the RV to happening in June because the end date is mid 2014 and for a period of 2 yrs.

As far as the tariffs, they will not postpone it anymore past JULY 1st.

The currency has to go up prior. The CBI has said they are ready to pull the trigger.

The rate must increase prior to the tarffs going into effect.

  15. I hope all this turns out good, and things just start movin fast. :)

Me too, but I'm mighty afraid that bozo Maliki will manage to stay strapped into the PM seat with another set of promises that he has no intention of following thru on. If the man was Pinocchio his nose would be 10 feet long!

What's your thoughts on this Yota? You have great insights and I highly respect your opinions...

  16. From another site...

    5-20-2012

Intel Guru Hammerman If Iraq doesn't get off their butts in the next 8 days, then 6 other currencies will RV without them. That's what I have been told from my banking contacts. The movement that's going to take place with these other currencies has never happened before. The VND started bouncing around yesterday. Last night around midnight it showed at 43 cents. This morning it was around 13 cents. The IQD showed in the banks at $4 and also around $16 but probably won't stay there. Kuwait is also going to revalue but the IQD will come out higher.

    Read more: http://www.another site.com/#ixzz1vVfhmTU0

I could not find a thing on any of the FOREX sites or the official UN Exchange rate site to prove or disprove it has occured. Guru states the VND is now fluctuating between .13 cents & .43 cents to $1USD. Please varify if possible. Thanks.

I think Okie must have had a hand in that one... :D VND .13 to .43, IQD $4 to $16 ? C'mon, you gotta be kidding :shakehead:
