  1. Yes, we go way back. I don't spend much time on this board anymore, but when I do I look for your name always! For some reason, anything that has to do with the porcelain god makes me laugh, haha.
  2. lol. ok, slick. If I'm being a hypocrite and trolling then I guess you just go trolled , but I asure you I'm not trolling. Either way, enjoy spending your time arguing about something you don't believe in and have no vested interest in. The dinar gods are smiling heavily on your good work.
  3. Oh, I'm not going to name names. You very well know who you are expecting comments from when you create your posts/topics. They're on your mind like a bad ex-girlfriend. I like to call it passive-aggressive posting. It's a mark of a troll. But please, humor me. What is it exactly that I don't want to hear? An RD of the dinar? Don't care about it one way or the other. I'm in the ISX for the long-haul, non-warka. I make out either way as I already have. So what exactly is it that I don't I want to hear?
  4. There you go committing the fallacy of assumption. You don't know my stance on the dinar. Neither do you know if I agree with you or not. What is known is that you used to troll in other threads before you were confined to this cage and you continue to troll in this cage because you know people will comment. As I said, you seem to target specific people in particular to get a rise out of them because you know you can. You provoke. That's the definition of a troll. You conitnue commenting and making topics on a subject you have no vested interest in. It's comical. For me, I don't care what you or anyone else believes concerning the dinar, but a troll is a troll and you are trolling hard. We're about the same age, I know a troll when I see one. Tin-foil . . .the aliens are coming.
  5. The troll is strong in this one. "In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people,[1] by posting inflammatory,[2]extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a forum, chat room, or blog), either accidentally[3][4] or with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[5] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[6]" I think you fit that description well. - You've no vested interest in the dinar since you hold none. - You've spouted the same arguments again and again regardless if you are correct or not. Seriously, at some point just walk away if no one is listening to you. - It's rather obvious you enjoy getting a rise out of specific people. Why else would you spend so much of your time on a forum of which you infinitely disagree with? Please, do tell. You're either trolling or a self-proclaimed internet white knight out to save people from their personal choices, but I doubt it's the latter. Pick up a hobby, Put all this ill-wasted energy into something more meaningful.
  6. Yeah, it's pretty obvious he's a troll. Typically, I'm active in a forum until I leave that investment, then I no longer frequent nor post in said forum. So either he is: Trolling The great dinar white knight that warns everyone out of the goodness of his heart. Needs to pick up a hobby. Take the money he got from selling dinar and put it into the ISX.
  7. Good thing it's difficult for the IRS to know who is trading crypto currencies
  8. And people have been banned from the lopster tank because theres a difference between being a lopster and being a condecending/name calling lopster . . . .
  9. Why dont you just ban him. Others have been banned for much less.
  10. It's amazing to me that the three wakra topics on how to set up an account with warka is still pinned. Those threads should be deleted or at the very least have a bid disclaimer in red font . . . .
  11. Still not funny. Yeah, this is a pretty tacky OP.
  12. Love Ottmar Liebert. My favorite song if his is Aqua Fria.
  13. Hey guys, Al-Jazera has posted the SILT Dividend Authorization form on their website. SILT is giving 10% dividends to share holders for all shares owned before their AGM. Make sure you send them your signed form if you qualify! Not sure how it works for the other brokers, but if you ahven't heard anything, you might want to ask them about it.
  14. I'll rephrase the question: Do your sources in Iraq have any more info on Warka than what little is revealed in the news . . .
  15. Will the ISX and ESX be rivals? For sure, each stock exchange would like to be the winner and both of us would like to keep the companies that are listed on our exchanges. My expectation is that there are about 85 companies that are listed on the ISX that would be keen to cancel their listing there and join the ESX. But we would like to take part or contribute to the boom of the Iraqi economy in general. What does this mean for our own stocks in the ISX? Will we see a price increase or a decrease?
  16. Hello Haymon, Yes, once a company comes out of their AGM, they will list their decisions and you have to let your broker know (I believe within a few weeks after the AGM, not sure) that you want to purchase the paid-up shares. BBOB went to AMG last July and the paid-up share period has already passed, but BIME bank is offering their paid up shares now, so you can purchase those if you are interested.
  17. Basically, when companies have their AGM (annual general meetings???), they sometimes choose to give share holders either dividends, free shares, or paid-up shares. Paid-up shares are company shares that are typically offered at 1IQD regardless of the current price of the company's stock. For example, you own 100,000 BBOB shares trading at 2IQD, they decide to offer 50% paid-up shares, meaning you can purchase 50% of your share holdings before they had their AGM in paid-up shares at 1IQD. So you bank 50,000 shares at half the cost. Al-Jazeera doesn't tell me personally when companies are offering bonus, dividend, or paid ups, so I have to read either my broker's website for announcements (which is where I got the BIME info) or others. As far as I know, you have to tell your broker you want to purchase the paid-up shares. Bonus shares are automatic and concerning dividends, if the broker needs some paperwork, he'll let you know. These sites typcially list all the AGMs and company decisions: Look for the titles Iraq Stock Market Report http://www.iraq-businessnews.com/category/investment/ ISX Broker with daily info https://twitter.com/BainAlnahrain Al-Jazeera http://isxbroker.com/?page_id=61 Hope this helps!
  18. Hey Guys, For those who own BIME stock, don't forget to subscribe to their paid-ups. Subscription began on the 16th. These are for shares owned prior to the December 14th AGM. Good luck and let this be our year!
  19. There's a reason Bitcoin is so low on Mt.Gox and trading at $600 on other sites . . . They're apparently having liquidity issues and are not allowing people to withdraw funds. They're blaming a glitch on bitcoins part, others are saying the opposite. If you're a risk taker, by all means use MT.Gox, just be away you might be running into your own version of Warka.
  20. I think it depends on your bank. I tried with my primary bank, but used their intermediary bank was HSBC, which doesn't send to Iraq. They charged me $85 to have the wire returned to my account. My wife's a tropper. She was in their face for a week until they refunded us the charge since they didn't tell us they couldn't wire to Iraq. Switched banks and sent a wire last week and just got an email from Al Jazeera that they received it. Moral of the story: before you wire, make sure your bank allows wires to Iraq. There's a lot of incompetence with bank employees and theft by the banks themselves. But I'm thinking of opening an account with Al Karmal, too. I can't recommend Al-Jazeera enough. They've been professional and timely, but it's always smart to spread your money around just in case.
  21. Stud may be trolling, but how about addressing the point made rather than attacking Stud's character? The article shows exactly why both Dems and Republicans in Congress are not to be trusted.
  22. Yup, that is the recent info. $10,000 to start, $1,000 each transfer thereafter.
