Man, you sure make a lot of judgments on people you don't know. In this case, an entire society. Wasn't that what you were accusing others of doing? Cries for justice? Justice will be served. Perp will be in jail for life. Angry protests? Protest against whom? Thugs on the street? Quite impossible . . . You can protest/petition government. You can't protest/petition against those who don't care . . . who knows though, government is a bunch of thugs anyway.

I believe you misunderstand. I didn't say you were corrupt or abusive . . . I also have two good friends who are cops and my best friends father was a cop. I know all cops are not bad and I know the majority are good. But what I don't like is when people get upset simply because you question the motives of someone who is a cop. A cop is no better than anyone else. They are neither more honest or upstanding simply for being a cop. I've never needed a cop and have never been arrested. I mind my business. If there ever comes a time I need the services of the police, Ill make sure to thank them, just like I thank my janitor when I see him cleaning the bin in my office. Lastly, I do not offer my religious beliefs in this thread, but if you think the concept of hell is more appealing just because of people you run across on a message board, then I suggest you reevaluate your concept of hell.

Police brutality is police brutality and it does exist, regardless if you believe it or not. Are you saying all cops are wonderful people? I honestly don't care if your brother is a cop or not. If he is a good, law abiding, no abusive cop, prayers out to him. If he misses any of these qualities, he's scum and should be stripped of his badge. Same with any citizen, cop or not. Sarcasm, eh? Exactly, Maggie! People are so quick to defend cops no matter what as if all cops are saints: they're not. Since January, multiple cops have been indicted on murder charges for just about executing suspects. This story reeks of police brutality, unless you want to believe that a guy can so easily break his own neck. I don't believe there was any racism invovled by the cops considering three of them were black, but there definitely is a hint of racism by some who are critical of the residents of baltimore.

Are you people seriously defending the cops? Instead of concentrating on this being a stupid "race" issue and being herded like sheep into the left/right, liberl/conservative, black/white paradigm. How about concentrate on it being a police brutality issue. Because that's what it is: a police brutality issue. These cops committed a crime. They should be punished. Being defending the cops are being unreasonable and so are the people claiming it's racism.

I don't mean to squabble, but I've paid for VIP before. And unless I'm clicking on ads, no one is getting paid. If revenue is based on site traffic, then anyone who makes a post or even visits the forum is contributing as even if an ad is blocked, traffic is still tracked.

That's way too much work. Just use firefox and get the AdBlock Plus plugin. Blocks all ads from all sites.

Funny, I just posted this on my facebook not two minutes ago before seeing it here.

There are a few sites that give info on each listed company (earnings, ratios, news, etc.). Are they as thorough as US sites? Of course not. There is more guessing involved for sure, but this doesn't stop one from trading technical analysis and potentially turning a profit. I mentioned bernie as an example of giving my money to a third party and potentially getting ripped off, which is what happened. Yes, there are some good opportunities here, which I have taken advantage of, but I hold on the ISX for long term and trade when there is a good profit to be made. I am long on serveral positions and Im banking that through bonus and paidup shares, and dividends, they will turn a better profit than some companies here in the states, especially in the long run.

No doubt, totally agree. But regardless if their a LOP and a stock split, or an RV and price fluctuation, many people (professionals) feel that the ISX is a good investment long term and very undervalued should Iraq reach its potential economically. Regarding my profits, I've reinvested them into the ISX, so I have not requested a withdrawal. Another member claims to have tested our broker ---- (several of us do not use WARKA (actually, it frustrates me that instructions on how to open a WARKA account is still pinned . . . . ), by requesting a withdrawal of several grand and received it quickly. However, I'll only belive this when I try it, but the broker I work with has yet to disappoint me. But of course, there is risk involved when working with any broker (bernie madoff), but investing in the ISX is one I feel is worthwhile.

I can't speak for others, but my holdings in the ISX have no bearing on what the currency does (RV or LOP). I and many others, including big investors, feel many of the companies/banks in the ISX hold great promise for growth, which happens often as a country recovers from war (should Irawq recover, which I believe they eventually will). For those who have been buying/selling actively and at the right times on the ISX, you could have already doubled or tripled your investment, not including bonus/paidup shares, and dividends.

Hey guys, It's been a long time since I've posted on here. I don't have any news on the ISX, I just have a prayer request from ya'll. My big brother passed tonight. He was 32. I ultimately don't know if he was saved or not. He came to the Lord a couple of years ago and was on fire, cleaned himself up, but then lapsed into addiction again. My heart is killing me. Death is painful, but when you know there is eternity and judgment, the feeling of not knowing the state of your loved one is a special kind of pain. It's dark and it hurts. Please pray for my family, especially my mother and youngest brother. And please say a prayer for me. I need peace of mind. Thanks guys. God bless you.
