ME TOO!!!! I had the worse day I have had in a very long time. I work with idiots dressed up in three piece suits. There is not a rational thought that rattles around in any of their brains. I pray every morning on the way to work and every afternoon on my way home, that I don't have to go back the next day. I absolutely cannot wait until I have the pleasure of telling each and every one of them what side of my _ss they can kiss. I might even let them kiss my whole entire _ss. A government-sponsored enterprise (GSE) is a financial services corporation created by the United States Congress. Their intended function is to enhance the flow of credit to targeted sectors of the economy and to make those segments of the capital market more efficient and transparent, and to reduce the risk to investors and other suppliers of capital. Government backed mortgages such as FHA, and VA are AUTOMATED underwritten mortgages that maintain a high level of compliance through the use of DESKTOP UNDERWRITER (DU), or LOAN PROSPECTOR (LP). Not all mortgages run through these decision engines receive auto approval, some are manual refer (google it), which are even more strict. Wells Fargo also has proprietary decision engine that runs in the background of both of these engines called Core Logic. These types of mortgages simply do not get insured by HUD when there are issues that you have offered above. It's referred to as a HOC Reject, or for those of us in the business, a ZY (shelfed mortgage) loan or for those not in the business a post closing nightmare. One stands the risk of winding up HUDs Limited Denial of Participation, or possible revoking of ones delegated endorsement or CHUMS number when HUD guidelines are not complied with either before, during or after the closing of the mortgage.. Well I will have to say, WF Bank is all about value added products. They are not the cheapest guys on the street, but they do like their bundled products, and the brand stands alone. ok,ok, what the heck....... Obviously, by my screen name I am a mortgage banker.....That's all I will say, well unless you want to talk about mortgages then, as my husband says..she will talk all night long. That's a stretch, but having prefaced all that with my opening remarks, here you go. I am being heavily recruited BACK to Wells Fargo Bank (what, did I say that?) So, with all the chatter about big projects Wells has going on right now, and they do. I have copy and pasted the body of a email that I received from the "global" recruiter for Wells Fargo Bank that I am dealing with. I left everything in tact except of course her name, and her personal contact information. We were speaking about the requisition number of the posting that I am being considered for. So, the question is why do they need hundreds of UW's (underwriters)???? They didn't need hundreds of uw when I worked for them..... Could it be that there will be an onslaught of real estate purchases in the near future???? Hmmmm, well maybe I will find out first hand. Anyway thats a real live banking story..... Jan 25 (3 days ago) Sounds good. It doesn’t look like they have reviewed it yet. I would expect next week. They have a huge hiring event in Dallas this week, hiring hundreds of UW’s there, so I think a lot of their internal recruiters are down there for that this week.
