  1. Kaperoni shows the facts - where the dinar will go...the plan for the New Iraq Dinar (and rate). 2/23/2012 Kaperoni: I thought I would try and put the pieces of the dinar puzzle together. Kaperoni: Many have tried to figure out how Iraq can support a RV. Or how the dinar would be collected back to Iraq. This topic has been discussed several times and as recently on the DinarAlert Conference Call back a few weeks ago. Kaperoni: Lets get into the numbers. First, how much dinar has been sold out of Iraq? The numbers vary, and at this point it appears that no actual number can be obtained. Therefore speculation is all we have. Personally, I believe somewhere from 4-10 trillion…no more. Others see it as high at 30 trillion. I think we can discount that when the CBI themselves state the total money supply at 25-27 trillion. Kaperoni: Now we need to see how Iraq is going to pay for the cost of the war. Or will they? Is this a myth? Kaperoni: If you watch this video, you have to assume either tankers full of oil are coming to America soon or they will simply RV the currency to pay off some 800 billion and growing debt. This is only the USA side of the expense. Estimates worldwide are 3 trillion plus for the cost of the war with Iraq. Kaperoni: Here is the link to the US Senate Committee Video Hearing: Iraq -The Challenging Transition to a Civilian Mission. Fastforward to the 95min mark for the Senator Menendez comments. Kaperoni: http://www.foreign.senate.gov/hearings/hearing/?id=a421f9a1-5056-a032-52ae-3e2b956077c2 Kaperoni: Ok, so we know that it Iraq will pay for this war, like it or not. They will based on this video and statement. Kaperoni: The next thought is if it’s not boatloads of oil, it must be the dinar. The dinar is the vehicle in which they will pay. We can ask if a LOP or Redenomination possible? Let’s go with the full 27 trillion dinar in circulation. If they LOP or re-denominate 27 trillion to 27 billion (delete 3 zeros) and gave it all to the US, they would not come close to paying off the war debt of 800 billion and climbing. So, one can come to a reasonable conclusion, that neither of these solutions will happen. Only a RV will solve the financial expense. Only a RV will pay off the kind of global debt. Kaperoni: Now lets look a bit closer on where the dinar will go post RV. Can Iraq collect it and pay for it? I don’t think that this the plan. Kaperoni: Here is a link to an article… Kaperoni: Experts: we aspire to make the Iraqi dinar portion of international reserves - 28/8/2011 Kaperoni: http://www.microsofttranslator.com/bv.aspx?from=&to=en&a=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.almustakbalpaper.net%2FArticleShow.aspx%3FID%3D8402 Kaperoni: Quote… Kaperoni: “Experts regard financial ambition that the Iraqi dinar is adopted as part of international reserves, through the establishment of a strong economy boosts value of local currency.” Kaperoni: Here we have the first statement which appears to disclose the plan for the dinar. The dinar that was “leaked or sold” outside of iraq. Pretty clear..”adopted as part of international reserves.” Kaperoni: Quote.. Kaperoni: "Central Bank Adviser, said the appearance of Mohamed Saleh: the Iraqi dinar is not an international reserve currency to be treated abroad, we aspire to be the monetary policy of the Iraqi dinar portion of international reserves and this needs to be a long time," he said. Kaperoni: So he is saying here. The Dinar will not he bought or sold overseas. That will be done by the CBI. The CBI will control the monetary policy. The dinar held in international reserves will stay there for a “very long time.” Clearly telling us, once again that banks/feds hold this dinar will use it simply as a reserve currency. A currency held for a “long time.” Kaperoni: Next article… Kaperoni: Experts: Economy sober works to support the dinar and attract global investment - 29/08/2011 Kaperoni: http://alsabaah.com/ArticleShow.aspx?ID=12867 Kaperoni: Quote… Kaperoni: “and aspiring professionals affairs financial that are supported Iraqi dinar as part of international reserves, through the establishment a strong economy enhances the value of local currency.” Kaperoni: More confirmation of the plan. More factual statements to confirm what was already stated. To prove the point. Next quote… Kaperoni: “For his part, central bank adviser said the appearance of Mohammed Saleh: that the Iraqi dinar is not an international reserve currency until it is handled in overseas and we are the Central Bank and as a policy cash aspire to be the Iraqi dinar is part of international reserves, and this needs a long time .” Kaperoni: Again, a similar statement. The CBI will be the Central Bank for the dinar handling the monetary policy. And once they RV, the dinar will become an international reserve currency (as the dinar you and I own is collected and held). Next quote… Kaperoni: “The member of the Economic Commission parliamentary: the idea is now up to the deletion of three zeros of the Iraqi currency, and this project will hopefully contribute to give power to the Iraqi currency to foreign dealings.” Kaperoni: They just gave us the answers we wanted. When will it become a foreign reserve currency? The answer is clear…That once they “delete 3 zeros” that will start the process (collection) to create the foreign reserves “they aspire to be part of.” As well we see they want to “give power” to the Iraqi currency internationally. Only a RV can accomplish this. Kaperoni: Next article… Kaperoni: Abtan: Iraq possessed 90 billion dollars in Central Bank reserves - Saturday, 03-09-11 Kaperoni: http://www.microsofttranslator.com/bv.aspx?from=&to=en&a=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ikhnews.com%2Fnews_view_19443.html Kaperoni: Quote… Kaperoni: “Saturday: "it is obvious that Iraq is capable of adopting the dinar as part of international reserves, especially large resource he possesses in the oil sector and over (80 to 90) billion dollars of Central Bank reserves and the positive impact on the Iraqi currency against the greenback and makes well-placed dinar as formerly among world currencies.” Kaperoni: Wow! This quote is very powerful. They are saying the dinar will be very strong, have a positive impact against other currencies (causing them to be strong). More of the plan is coming out. Next quote… Kaperoni: “The Central Bank adviser said in an earlier statement to the news agency of news "that the Iraqi dinar is not an international reserve currency to be treated abroad, we aspire to be the monetary policy of the Iraqi dinar portion of reserves and this needs to be a long time.” Kaperoni: Again, same statement above. Clearly, this is factual and part of the plan. Kaperoni: So now we need to confirm whether or not this is the plan. I think this next article confirms this… Kaperoni: Central Bank: the dinar covered in hard currency and no fear upon the volatility of currencies of countries - 12/02/2012 Kaperoni: http://www.aladalanews.net/index.php?show=news&action=article&id=83138 Kaperoni: Quote… Kaperoni: “Saleh said in a press statement on Saturday: The dinar today has become a strong and like a hard currency thanks to the policy of the central bank in control of the cash raised in the local market.” Kaperoni: And this quote… Kaperoni: “He pointed to: that the goal of central bank policy at the moment is the stability of the exchange rate of the dinar against the U.S. dollar , Our goal in the long run be equal to it being a process need to be a strong economy and inflation is low and a cash reserve large.” Kaperoni: And this quote.. Kaperoni: “Jubouri said in an earlier statement: The approach undertaken by the central bank retention rate of the dinar against the dollar during the current indication that monetary policy in the country able to make the dinar equivalent of the U.S. dollar.” Kaperoni: These 3 quotes…tell us the dinar is now (the CBI feels) a “hard currency.” That the goal is to make the dinar equal to the USD. Or 1 to 1. Therefore, we now see the rate. Not some foolish rate, but a rate comparable to the US dollar. It is also necessary to look at Wikipedia Kaperoni: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hard_currency Kaperoni: Quote… Kaperoni: “Hard currency (also known as a safe-haven currency or strong currency), in economics, refers to a globally traded currency that is expected to serve as a reliable and stable store of value. Factors contributing to a currency's hard status might include the long-term stability of its purchasing power, the associated country's political and fiscal condition and outlook, and the policy posture of the issuing central bank.” Kaperoni: This definition falls in line with the plan. What the other statement meant. What the plan is for the New Iraqi Dinar. Last article…. Kaperoni: The parliamentary economic: to delete the zeros of the Iraqi currency will increase the international credibility of - 03/09/2011 Kaperoni: http://www.microsofttranslator.com/bv.aspx?from=&to=en&a=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.aknews.com%2Far%2Faknews%2F2%2F259979%2F Kaperoni: Quote… Kaperoni: “And at the same considered decision of the Economic Committee in the Iraqi parliament on Saturday, that the deletion of three zeros from the Iraqi currency will increase the confidence and international credibility in Iraqi currency, noting that the Central Bank of Iraq has a real strategy on the matter, noting that the Iraqi dinar will be the strongest in the Middle East.” Kaperoni: Another quote confirming the plan. Confirming the desires of the CBI. And the objective regarding the upcoming RV. This event will “increase the confidence and international credibility in Iraqi currency” Kaperoni: Next time someone gives you a huge bogus rate, show them the facts. Show them the desire of the Central Bank of Iraq. When you follow the facts, you get the real story. Kaperoni: I hope it helps. Kaperoni: Done.
  2. kaperoni: Tonight’s chat is a "re-assuring" chat today. I am calling this…The Talabani Express. kaperoni: Tonight I will focus on Iraq's progress and future. Specifically, 3 reasons why the RV should occur sooner than later. Keep in mind, that the RV is part of a bigger economic plan. That it is just one piece of the puzzle within Iraq. kaperoni: IMO, there is no way Dr, Shabibi will hold progress up, the move to a free market economy, the success, future, reduction of poverty of the country. Lets get the first article… kaperoni: Baghdad is ready to host the summit - 23/02/2012 kaperoni: Quote… kaperoni: “The source said the Arab: "The delegation briefed in detail on all the preparations that impressed them, and their level higher." The source added that "it is the most prominent was seen by the delegation headquarters held the opening session and the meetings of Ministers, and the headquarters of the establishment of the Arab leaders, in addition to the centers for journalists and hotels will hold the Arab delegations.” kaperoni: I just wanted to put this out there…I want you all the see the significance of this event. The grandness of it. Clearly the importance of the event is not only to the Arab world, but to Iraq. Next article… kaperoni: Zebari criticizes the political positions of the parties of the Arab Summit - 22/2/2012 kaperoni: Quote… kaperoni: "the path of the summit is three days beginning on the twenty-seventh of March of the Ministers of Finance and Economy Arabs, and in the twenty-eighth meeting of the date of the Arab foreign ministers, and in the twenty-ninth of it holding the Arab summit and the presence of Arab leaders. " kaperoni: They tell us here the plan for the 3 days of activities. Next article we will go back to March 2011… kaperoni: Iraq agrees to delay Arab League summit in Baghdad - Thu Mar 3, 2011 kaperoni: Quote… kaperoni: “The Arab League summit is viewed as important for Iraq's reintegration into the Arab world eight years after the U.S.-led invasion that toppled dictator Saddam Hussein.” kaperoni: Ok, so we're starting to see why this is so important to Iraq. Why they would be fools to not just host this event, but to have a worthless currency to boot. Next article… kaperoni: Maliki says the Baghdad summit will open a “new phase” with the Arabs - February 21, 2012 kaperoni: Quote… kaperoni: “A statement issued by the Information Office of Maliki as saying during a meeting with a delegation from the Iraqi Bar Association, said that “Iraq has regained its health and after almost a month will host the summit will open an important new phase in Iraq, in turn carry out with its Arab brothers.” kaperoni: Maliki office states just two days ago, “Iraq has regained its health” Really? He continues… “host the summit will open an important new phase in Iraq” Ok, keep in mind how proud these people are. They need the RV before the summit. Another article… kaperoni: Baghdad: preparations reached their final stages to host the Arab summit in Baghdad - On: Tuesday 02/07/2012 kaperoni: Quote… kaperoni: “He added that Iraq is a pivotal country in the region and part of an active player in the Arab system and because of the circumstances which passed in the previous period affected the double role at this level, stressing that Iraq is today, after the achievement of security and political stability and exit of foreign troops, he was able to receive and post all activities of Arab, regional and international levels.” kaperoni: And this quote… kaperoni: “He said Shammari to: that the establishment of the summit on the land of Baghdad would be an important turning point at this stage in the relations between Iraq's Arab and a start of a mission to Iraq to perform its responsibilities and leadership role in the region and the world.” kaperoni: Ok, I think I made my point. Regained health, international levels, important turning point, leadership role not only regionally but the world. Does this sound like a country that can continue to have a worthless currency? Ok, so we all know the Arab Summit is vital and important. kaperoni: Let’s move on to tariffs and taxes…lets see how this all plays in the economic puzzle…Next article… kaperoni: Calls for the application of the law of parliamentary customs tariff with the controls of the commercial market - Thursday, 23.02.2012 kaperoni: Quote… kaperoni: “A member of the Economic Committee in the House of Representatives, Mohamed Khalil the need to apply the law of customs tariff. “ kaperoni: Just today, the Economic Committee is asking again, lets get these taxes/tariffs going. Another quote… kaperoni: “Khalil (range): The law of customs tariff laws which must be approved at this time to protect local product, pointing out that The government hesitated enabled this pretext prices of goods in local markets.” kaperoni: Ok, he is giving us reasons for this. Remember this is to stimulate the free market economy. Another part of the puzzle…To support manufacturing, agriculture, etc. Tariffs make all this possible….next quote… kaperoni: “Khelil said: that the product suffers from a deterioration of the domestic and local markets experiencing bad goods in addition to the absence of the private sector taking the leading role in the community, noting that the country's future to join the World Trade Organization.” kaperoni: Ok, he is starting to explain why. Years of deterioration. It is time to reverse this trend. This also supports the goal of full accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO). Next quote… kaperoni: “activation of tariff law will contribute to improving markets and make it a solid competitive markets to world markets. " kaperoni: Bam! There we get the punch line. This single step will open the door and improve the markets…making them competitive and to be able to join the world markets. Wait….how no tradable currency?….You are starting to see how tariffs and currency go hand in hand? Let’s get some more…Quote.. kaperoni: "goods internal to the country is supposed to fit in with the merits of the citizen," noting that "there is a need to activate the customs tariff law to regulate the markets." kaperoni: Alright, he is telling us. That tariffs are the “key” or the regulatory process for the free market economy. Next quote... kaperoni: “The new law eliminates the customs tariff law issue by the civil governor Paul Bremer and the subject of all goods imported into the discount rate of 5% in taxes, while the new law discriminatory tariff starts from zero and up to 30%.” kaperoni: This is why the tariffs cannot be implemented to date. Why they cannot do this until the RV has taken plan. 5-30% import taxes would crush the economy. Only after the RV would they succeed with this. Next quote… kaperoni: “It was hoped to be activation of the Tariff Act in March after it passed the House of Representatives.” Kaperoni: There you have it. The second reason to be very optimistic this RV will occur very soon. They want to implement this in March 2012. kaperoni: Moving on to the 3rd reason tonight…Next article…An older article… kaperoni: Parliament: legislative barriers to entry for Iraq, the World Trade Organization - Date: Mon 10/24/2011 kaperoni: Quote… kaperoni: “Said committee member Abdul-Hussein al-Yasiri told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that "does not turn Iraq into a free market economy comes because of the legislation in force that prevent speeding in obtaining permanent membership in the WTO." kaperoni: See how these are all starting to all seem to tie together? We have committee member al-Yasiri stating no WTO unless they implement the laws and such for a free market economy. Next article… kaperoni: National Commission on Iraq's accession to the WTO will hold its meeting of 29 - Date: Monday, 12/19/2011 kaperoni: Quote… kaperoni: “the necessity of activating private sector activity and to follow developments and proposals relevant to the organization and in line with WTO requirements” kaperoni: There we have it! Confirmation that they need the free market economy (tariffs, RV) to get access to WTO. Next article we go back in time… kaperoni: Iraq wants to join WTO - Monday, September 13th, 2010 kaperoni: Quote… kaperoni: “An Iraqi task force was established in December 2004 to pave the way for the country's membership in the organization. The task force officially submitted a request to the WTO expressing Iraq's desire to join the "organization.” kaperoni: All good. This simply means they know they need it. Next quote… kaperoni: "Iraq has taken big steps in its efforts to join the WTO especially after talks were held with the member states in the organization," said Ibrahim Zenjili, a member of the task force.” kaperoni: Obviously, this process takes time..So you see they started years ago…so this piece of the puzzle was ready at the same time as the others. Next quote… kaperoni: “He said the main duties of the task force are reducing the difference of value between Iraqi Dinar and US dollar and activating Iraq's private sector.” kaperoni: Bingo! Tariffs, RV and WTO…It is nice or what? That all makes a successful free market economy. Something Shabibi is not going to prevent or hold up. Few more articles…Lets go back to Jan, 2011…. kaperoni: Iraqi president to ask Arab Leaders to support Iraq’s bid to the World Trade Organization - 2011/01/17 kaperoni: Quote… kaperoni: “A senior official said on Sunday that the Iraqi President Jalal Talabani will travel to Egypt on Tuesday to represent Iraq in the Arab League Economic Summit which begins on January 19 in Sharm al-Sheikh.” kaperoni: Next Quote… kaperoni: “Chief of staff at the President’s office Nasser al-Ani, said that Talabani will stress the importance of the economic role the Arab nations can play in Iraq in light of improvements to the country’s security situation.” kaperoni: And this quote… kaperoni: “He said that the president is hopeful that the Arab states will become significant partners in the implementation of investment projects in Iraq.” kaperoni: Next quote… Kaperoni: It has also been stated that Talabani will call on the assembled Arab leaders to support Iraq’s bid for the restoration of its World Trade Organization membership.” kaperoni: You see Talabani has been working this for a long time. Telling everyone about security improvements, time to invest in Iraq, and please help us get WTO membership. He has been the economic engine…The Talabani Express! This is why they will not wait for 2013 for the RV. kaperoni: Next article – again from 2011… kaperoni: Commerce sent a delegation to Geneva to conduct negotiations to join the World Trade Organization - On: Tuesday 01/25/2011 kaperoni: Quote… kaperoni: “He said Hatem: "Iraq admitted more than 27 law in the fields of economy and some of that passed by Parliament and the other in the state council, and laws are still under discussion in the corridors of the ministries and bodies that made considerable efforts to pass and to discuss these resolutions, which aims to make the Iraqi economy open flexible and able to interact with the world's economies, which obliges the standards set by the regulations of the WTO, which relies on a free market. " kaperoni: This is simply confirmation of what I have been telling everyone for a long time. The RV is just one piece of several that needs to be in place for the entire event to succeed. This quote…tells us about all the laws that were pending last year. Laws that need to be in place to succeed. Though some have passed, I am sure some still remain. Parliament has work to do…Pass laws. kaperoni: Next article… kaperoni: Iraqi trade requests from the United States to support Iraq to join the World Trade - Baghdad, February 25, 2011 kaperoni: Quote… kaperoni: “Hatem added that “Iraq’s accession to the WTO means lifting the lid of the isolation system for Iraq’s commercial world, which lived for many years.” kaperoni: So we see this how this all fits…That WTO accession is something they need. But before they can have this, they have work to do. kaperoni: Last article... kaperoni: A seminar on Iraq's accession to the WTO - 15.01.2012 kaperoni: Quote… kaperoni: “The position of the Ministry of Planning in conformity with the official views of some experts, when he called on the ministry's spokesman to wait to declare Iraq's accession to full membership at the moment, on the grounds that Iraq needs a lot of changes on the economic situation before they have the full membership.” kaperoni: This is a great quote…It simply says…we will not get WTO accession until we do what is needed prior. Pass economic laws, RV, tariffs…Then comes WTO (mid to late 2012?). And the result is a successful free market economy that does business with the world. kaperoni: 3 very good reasons (Tariffs, Arab Summit and WTO Accession) to be very optimistic that the RV is coming soon. kaperoni: Done
  3. I need a good mechanic. Send him over for an oil change and tune up.

  6. From Kaperoni today. I found out today that Dinar Recaps will no long be posting any of the DinarAlert chats, Conference Calls, or any other site related information. The purpose for such a decision? Apparently, we have made a public statement that conflicts with there advertising revenue stream...Dinar Registry Here is the comments from Dinar Recaps... Due to your bashing a advertiser of ours, without knowing the facts, Dinar Recaps will no longer be advertising or promoting your calls or chats. Here is DinarAlert's response... If your talking about Dinar Registry, we did not bash, we simply stated on DinarAlert that we do not recommend usage of such a service. This is a high risk type product for misuse, or abuse, or even theft. Clearly, you can understand that position. Providing, names, ip addresses, and such and then documenting dinar, could and may very well be a serious problem. At DinarAlert, we put the dinar community our members interest first and foremost. I think you can appreciate that. If you are going to stop posting our information on that basis, i am very disappointed. DinarAlert So there you have it. If you want to read Kaperoni's chats or posts, or listen to conference calls, you will have to come to DinarAlert to see them. We can clearly see that money is the driving force on many "intel" websites rather than solid factual information.
  7. I was visiting 3s when Kap came on late last night. The line missing is what his Arabic translator told him. Apparently, parliament is telling the people of Iraq the new rate will be at least 1 dinar to $1. He made a point of "at least"
  8. It is interesting in Kap's chat he presented two articles in which Saleh mentions IMF Article VIII as if they are in it. I agree we need to wait to find out what is going on, but this does seem powerful.
  9. Okie and his 5 different alias are all pumpers. He rotates them like old tires. Eventually he will get a flat. Let's hope he gets what's due to him. Some time in a steel cell.
  10. I think it is very important the point Marcus makes about money supply, yet these other participants did not want to hear it. Seems to me, they are obsessed with re-denomination. [MarcusCurtis] so if they want to dedollarize they have a problem [MarcusCurtis] if they rd they only have at the current figure outside of banks 25 billion in dollar value [MarcusCurtis] that is not enough to dedollarize [MarcusCurtis] so whats Iraq going to do? Not to mention they owe the USA close to 1 trillion in war debt. GO RV!
  11. Looks like Kap and his crew was right. Central Bank: the black market to dominate the Iraqi economy Sunday, February 5, 2012 08:16 BAGHDAD / Baghdadiya News / .. The Central Bank of Iraq to the black market is the dominant economic transactions taking place in the country, in reference to find the application of the bank's decision to disclose For trading in hard currency. Deputy Central Bank Governor Dr Mazhar Mohammad Saleh in a special statement / Baghdadiya News / he "has become clear that the black market is dominant on the Iraqi economy by virtue of economic transactions large witnessed by the market," noting that "when we asked the banks to bring instruments to find out who buys dollar has not come to us from sales of $ 300 million only three million dollars. " However, Saleh said that "some dealings on the black market is contrary to the laws, but traders insist on hiding from formal institutions because of low culture, economic and tax evasion," adding that "it is regrettable to note that everyone prefers to work in the dark and away from light, and in Iraq there are dealers selling and buying millions of dollars but avoid opening a bank account of the definition of themselves. " The Deputy Governor of the Central Bank that "a lot of traders entering the windows of the central bank through banks the names of others or using aliases or through a fictitious company, although some of them practiced business operations are correct, but there is a fear of openness with the official institutions, in addition to those who violate laws and engaged in illegal activities. " The central bank took the decision to compel banks to disclose their customers who buy foreign currency, after what was known of the smuggling of foreign currency extensive to Syria and Iran after the economic sanctions the World, which increased demand for the dollar in these countries. / Finished / 26 / a. 12. Haha. The laws are not passed yet. These clowns will be wondering why again next week. I not looking for this to happen until March at best.
  13. Kaperoni: Ok, So lets do a chat today about a few things. Kaperoni: Last night on the conference call we discussed in legnth the currency auctions. If you have not listened to it, I think it was a real good call. It’s posted in the Announcement Tab. Kaperoni: Few points to be made. Per the article, the CBI is making all banks conform to Basil Compliance. That means many of the people acquiring dollars through the auctions will stop. Basil requires documentation through a bank, these people don’t want to do that. They are money launders, some even Iraqi officials who have been stuffing there pockets. That will all stop now. Here is the article and quote… Kaperoni: Central Bank required banks to disclose their customers to get the foreign currency - 02-02-2012 Kaperoni: "part of the duties of the central bank regulatory and supervisory and in accordance with the principles of the Basel Convention International that Iraq is a member is to know the customer who buys currency from the bank through banks to prevent any breaches that may affect the security of the state. " Kaperoni: So unless you can prove where the dollars are going, your not getting them through the auctions anymore. That is a good news for above reasons. Now, the benefits. Kaperoni: The CBI does not have to worry about there reserves being tapped into. Second, they are getting ready for international transactions. Kaperoni: The bad news is the dollar is drying up. And a dollar black market is starting. We read in the article that some are paying 1230 dinars per 1 usd. The exchange rate as you know is 1166. So there is now a black market for dollars with a 65 dinar premium. Here is the article… Kaperoni: Decline Altoman Iranian and Syrian pound raises the price of the dollar in Iraq - 03/02/2012 Kaperoni: Two quote… Kaperoni: "rose to hit (on Thursday) to 1227 dinars per dollar, after the price of 1200 dinars per dollar," noting that the reason for the rise lies in the "pull foreign currency to Syria and Iran, by the imposition of international sanctions against them. " Kaperoni: “Director of Banking expressed his fear of "the continuing high prices of exchange, and its negative impact on the economic situation in Iraq", adding that the new instructions of the Central Bank "will impact on the availability of foreign currency in the local market." Kaperoni: Now, here is where it gets interesting. We know they have collected most of the larger 3 zero notes. And much of what is on the streets… 500, 250, 50s, are worn and burned, taped, etc. So this move forces Iraqis to banks accounts and debit or credit cards. It is IMO part of the process. More importantaly, towards electronic transactions and a paper trail…Here is an article… Kaperoni: Iraq is progressing slowly towards electronic financial transactions - 01/02/2012 Kaperoni: Two quotes… Kaperoni: “Director of electronic systems in the Ministry of finance Najwa happy news agency of Kurdistan (aknews) that "2011 not seen clear progress in financial transactions and electronic", stating that "the proportion of electronic financial transaction amounting to 65% which is good." Kaperoni: “She said that "the work of electronic systems consistently provide but they require additional efforts in the period ahead to develop a culture of financial dealings and e-mail in governmental institutions of State services". Kaperoni: Remember just a few weeks ago we saw the articles about the Iraqi credit card? Kaperoni: Trade Bank of Iraq reduces the amount of insurance for the credit card and announces the imminent issuance of Gold Card - Monday, 23 January Kaperoni: Quote… Kaperoni: "the Bank issued for the first time in Iraq, the credit card {Anvent} with benefits and discounts global excellence, and will be in the near future issuance of Gold Card {Visa} for all citizens, but in dollars, in addition to issuing cards {MasterCard! Dedicated to university students, and uses of the Internet. " Kaperoni: And this quote… Kaperoni: The bank said in its statement that it "will be deployed ATMs in most halls Baghdad International Airport to withdraw cash from Visa Card, Master Card, world wars and in the currency of the dinar and the dollar." Kaperoni: So it’s pretty clear, with the new regulations, they are forcing electronic transactions which means bank accounts, ATM cards, credit cards. Progress. Kaperoni: Now, here is a great article today. For those who question if we know what we are doing, this article is reassuring. We stated for months that the CBI has laws that need to be passed. I think since Oct 2011. And everyone was looking for them at Parliament. Well today, low and behold one of them showed up… Kaperoni: Parliament ends the first and second reading for (11) bills - Ali Abdullah - 04/02/2012 Kaperoni: Here is the quote…. Kaperoni: “He said: that the most important laws that have been a first reading at today's meeting is the official language of the draft law will be the introduction of the Kurdish language in addition to the Arabic language to accompany the currency in which the deletion of zeros in the time of the later date.” Kaperoni: So were making progress. Just the first reading, but hopefully in days to come this will pass. We are still looking for a few more laws including the one that adjusts all the accounting records for loans, mortgages, etc. as well. So no RV tonight, or tomorrow, but starting to see light at the end of the tunnel. Kaperoni: Stick to the facts. Kaperoni: Done.
  14. are they not the same person? Lol
  15. Then why do the articles say the people cannot get new bills and are forced to use these torn, burned or worn out notes? I think your wrong. Funny, last article i read said Iraq uses mostly USD and little if any dinar. Maybe you should read the articles. Seems to me kap is right on.
  16. Apparently, you dont like kap. But if you took the time, he backs everything up. There are several articles over the past few months that say that dinar is hard to come by in Iraq. Even a few that mention the heavy dollarizing going on in this chat The dinar that is left is burned, torn or taped and worn out (even a picture of a 250). Last summer, I read one from citizens complained about the lack of currency, and what was available was only 50s and 250s and few 500s. If you follow kap, you would know he uses his Arabic translator for clarification and explanation not some "super special translator". Posting his words for all to read and draw your own conclusions. Your negative comments only make you look really dumb (along with the hat). Instead of bashing someone, prove them wrong with your own links. But then you can't.
  17. I continue to be asked almost daily about the rate when the dinar revalues. I assume this because the rumor gurus continue to push nonsense of a high rate. Some even saying 8+ lol Let’s get into this and put this to rest once and for all. First, I want to address the biggest “hype” for a high rate..That Kuwait came out at 8+ so Iraq might also. This is not possible. First, Kuwait did not have close to 6-10 trillion dinar sold outside the country like Iraq has. Iraq through numerous articles has stated that they want the New Iraq Dinar to be part of the world's currency reserves. That is a telling statement. Second, no Central Banks are going to give you that kind of rate when you cash in so they can add that to their foreign reserves. That is simply foolish and makes no economic sense taking a risk that Iraq stays stable enough to maintain that rate. It just does not make sense. What does make sense is a lower rate around 1.2 to $1 in which these Central Banks (Federal Reserve in the case of the US) can buy your dinar and as Iraq prospers, so does the dinar. Ultimately, rising as oil production increases agriculture and manufacturing improves to a respectable rate. Iraq never stated they would have the highest exchange rate in the Middle East overnight. Don’t assume they will. When Iraq succeeds, so does the dinar and so does the world's debt crisis. They are a developing nation and a GOI that is very unstable constantly challenged currently with sectarian violence. How do I know the rate will be around 1.2 to $1 initially? Because Iraq said so. Not once but numerous times. There are at least 20 articles discussing new lower notes and an exchange rate of 50 dinars equals about $43 US. That is in fact, 1.2 to $1. Assistant Professor and Dean Dr. Fadel who helped create the “delete 3 zeros” plan back in 2006-2007 states 1.2 to $1 and makes this offering… “The deletion process will be on according to the following: it becomes the U.S. dollar at today's prices = 1200 fils in the sense that the U.S. $ 100 = 120 dinars, which is very suitable for such a stage that the government control inflation and keep it at reasonable levels.” Again, more confirmation of an initial rate of 1.2 to $1. Now one final bit of proof, Saleh who is Deputy Governor of the CBI has documented in tables that the rate of the dinar is somewhere from 1.17 –1.30 per $1. Again, more real confirmation. What is the CBI’s objective? To make the dinar strong? To make it the primary currency of Iraq? And to dedollarize? Yes, all of these are the goals. All of these questions can be solved with an initial rate slightly higher than the USD. Remember what the “delete 3 zeros” is…. It is simply a process and a transition from larger notes to smaller notes (hence the name delete 3 zeros). It makes sense to gradually increase the rate from 1.2 to a higher 3+ rate over time so they can collect these notes and destroy them. This metered approach will prevent chaos, and corruption, and potential theft and violence on the streets as these larger notes are removed. Could I be wrong? Sure I could be off a bit on this rate, but I will not be off by much. Certainly not off by the silly rates these guru's put out. These rumor guru’s play on your inability to know the plan. To know the facts and to know the process. They will continue to excite you with high rates as long as you’re willing to not hold them accountable for their comments. If these rumor gurus spent just 1 hour a day reading actual documents or tables or chats from various real sources such as the IMF, World Bank, UN etc. they would have seen the evidence that supports a reasonable initial low 1.2 to $1 or about rate. What does that tell you? I say enough BS. Kap
