Maybe that's a part of the switch to the Qi cards, PG. I don't know, but if they are drawing in all of the physical IQD in Iraq that they can, that will leave straggling bills there, plus what is out of country. I don't know much about the country but I'd imagine there are plenty of small towns/villages that are out of touch at least somewhat and the people there may be holding "some" bills, but not likely in the millions. It will all eventually be electronic and nothing more. M0, M1, M2, M3 whatever, I can't keep that stuff straight no matter how hard I try... point is simply that the paper money will eventually be gone and it will all be electronic. I'd guess they would have a time limit for those small towns, but would expect it to likely be a decade, rather than 6 months, unless there will be some sort of mass campaign and almost door to door collection. Yeah, I know, that has something to do with fiat currency or whatever, but do they really HAVE to have physical bills? Or maybe they will be gold-backed after all. Wish I could think clearly and not sound so... blonde... what can I say, born a toe-head. KK Sorry for rambling...

Why? I just can't see the connection. Not that I don't WANT this to be the key to an rv, but I just don't see the connection. I can use my Visa card to purchase goods online in just about any country I want to, using American dollars, right? So, why can't Iraq? Why does their money have to be worth so much more for them to use the card? It will be easier for them to shop using the card than a wheelbarrow full of pretty money. Thanks to those who chose to for responding. I finished The Rithmatist and it was another of his epics, so it was a "to be continued". I was disappointed with that but glad at the same time. I really enjoyed it. I try not to read the first in a series, prefer to wait til the series is complete. I haven't read The Way of Kings nor The Warbreaker, so I think I'll read those two, then I'll have read all of Sanderson's works. I really enjoy him. I'd like to reread the Fablehaven books, they were easy and fun, a great distraction from daily stresses. KK
