Sorry thought I responded yesterday might not have gone through. So illegal aliens should not be counted as citizens or have representation. But we could give them a path to citizenship so the farmers could continue to find workers. We can get them paying taxes and the like. That path could include many things that they would have to do to obtain citizenship. One thing I would like to see is they should learn English. Or pay back taxes. Just as some examples. I know a tomato farmer in FL. He has said he has tried to hire legal people. He can’t find enough to work the farm and it’s not even close. He said if all the people were rounded up and deported the agriculture economy in the US would collapse. You would be paying quadruple the price for tomatoes if you could get them at all. Strawberries lettuce.........everything.
