  2. I watched a clip on the National news last night. They were running through her career highlights. It showed her talking once about how she laughs at everything. She said, "if you don't laugh how do you get through this life".

She lived a good life. Much more than most of us I am sure. She did what she wanted, achieved what she wanted and said what she wanted and was appreciated and loved by many.  How many can say that our their life?

So many good comedians leaving us lately.

  3. I really liked her a whole lot....she's my kinda girl...

Joan Rivers Wanted Paparazzi, Meryl Streep at Her "Showbiz Affair" Funeral

Even when speaking about death, Joan Rivers was hilarious, wise, and inimitable.

The celebrated comedienne, who passed away on Thursday, Sept. 4, at the age of 81, had talked about aging and death repeatedly over her years in the spotlight. In her 2012 book I Hate Everyone… Starting with Me, the late Rivers even outlined her plans for her funeral.

"When I die (and yes, Melissa, that day will come; and yes, Melissa, everything's in your name,)" Joan wrote, referencing her only child, daughter Melissa Rivers. "I want my funeral to be a huge showbiz affair with lights, cameras, action."

She didn't stop there, however -- Joan had every detail, from her outfit to the guests to the special touches, planned out.

"I want Craft services, I want paparazzi and I want publicists making a scene!" she insisted. "I want it to be Hollywood all the way. I don't want some rabbi rambling on; I want Meryl Streep crying, in five different accents. I don't want a eulogy; I want Bobby Vinton to pick up my head and sing 'Mr. Lonely.' I want to look gorgeous, better dead than I do alive. I want to be buried in a Valentino gown and I want Harry Winston to make me a toe tag. And I want a wind machine so that even in the casket my hair is blowing just like Beyonce's."

The famously talkative star also joked to Esquire in May 2007 about her last words: "My last words? They might be, 'But it was a joke. Put down the gun! It was a joke! Arrgh!'"

On aging, she quipped to The Huffington Post in January 2012, "I don't give a damn what people think. If you don't like my opinion, too bad. That's the only good thing about age." She went on to add of her hopes of reincarnation, "I would be the biggest musical comedy star ever. Audra McDonald, I wouldn't mind being her. Or Patti LuPone but with a nose job, and married to Stephen Sondheim: that would be my ideal life."

Melissa touched on her mother's storied sense of humor in a statement about her death on Thursday.

"My mother's greatest joy in life was to make people laugh," she said. "Although that is difficult to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we return to laughing soon."

  4. goldiegirl,  I can't believe you are on the side of the koolaide kids.  Come over to the winning side.  I'll hold a place for you on the team.

I'm not a koolaid drinker. I'm pretty grounded with all of this. More than most.  I don't see you as the winning side. Worst case scenario I can sell most of my dinar, loose a couple hundred buck on a million but so what. I spend more on stupid things in the past.  You shouldn't worry about me. I just come in here to see how some of my friends are holding up against you.

  5. Your right he never came back, I never seen any questions either. Seems like I remember in one of those post he said he going back out of town. I could be wrong though it could be somebody else told me that. I'm getting old. :eyebrows:

At least we know he's a real person with a real job, not some low life sitting behind some computer making up some BS.  I think he did say he was back in town for  little while. If that's the case he may be back in Iraq working.

I was hoping that if there is anyone who did speak with him since May, would post here. But given that this site is SO NASTY anymore, unless they support Tlar or Goat, I don't blame them for stepping out.

  6. Barter and subsistence farming, fishing and hunting to keep food on the table....back to our roots :)

We still do that here in Sol Is in the bush. That's how we cope with natural disasters and other catastrophes. :peace:

OK Fly...I'll barter with you any day.

If money was no object I would buy 3 pairs of new socks at one time.

WoW can you just imagine that  :)

    You naughty dog...!!!

  7. Either the end of May or first of June 2014 when I think I read his post. He just had come back from Iraq.

I read that post. It was back in May but he didn't come back and answer any of the questions that people had posted on that thread.

I can understand his point about 2014 but wasn't sure why he implied it might go to 2016 and that is what I was most interested in hearing from him. Thank you for directing me.  I hope he comes back to post again soon.

If you go into members and select O and go to the 33rd page of O's. (wow there are a lot of people on this site) you will see ovarB11. Here is Bravo's May 8 post this year where he said not this year.

I agree with this thread. There isn't anyone left who has any contacts. TLar (Tom Larson, from Dallas, who buys and sells Rolex watches) I really liked until our Thuggie and Texas1 gave us the lowdown and burst the bubble. No one left. They are all a bunch of okies. Aren't I depressing :D  :D  :D

    Hey all who know me.

I am not sure how to handle the crowd because I have been gone so long. That being said, lets get right at it.

I do not think we will see any RV any time soon. If you don't know me, don't bash me. The truth is I don't care. Those who do know me can validate me if they want.

I have mentioned before that I think we need to look at China as a leader in this, and have not given much insight other than that. I still can not say much more without speculating, but with some research people can make their own decisions as to the validity of my comments.

The US is losing the recognition as the global reserve currency. I do not think we will see a RV no matter what happens until after July 1st for a few reasons. I will not go into economic lesson but research HR 2847. Now I would expect you to research it, not just read into what you see in the foreground.

The good thing is that foreign investment is a good thing, it will just be harder to trade.

There are a few people that I hope to reach with this post. If you have my # please call me.

To all the people that know me I would like to say hey. I am back in the US for a couple of weeks, and will try to check out this sight. If you ask direct questions I will try to give direct answers.

I don't think we shall se RV in 2014.

    Forgot that. Sorry

Thanks docneedles. Did anyone who knows him call him?

  8. Believe me I don't want to believe any of what I read on that site. However it does put doubt in your mind when that info. is brought to your attention. Anyone can say anything and get away with it on the internet, I hope it is all just a bunch of crap. So what is so bad about asking Adam for some proof of who he is and what he's about. As above, anyone can say anything they want and if no one asks then it is assumed it is gospel. Again I have looked on our Dinar Vets site but can't locate any of the answers I have asked. The site is huge and I may be missing it somewhere. I am not saying that anyone asked me to buy dinars or dongs or to join VIP or to get an IBC, which I have, just that I have spent a lot of money related to this site at my own discretion to hopefully reduce my tax burden with the provided information but am also looking at trusting someone I don't know anything about to hold my money post RV. Thanks skeetdog you seem to understand my concerns while others are being rude. Sorry but I don't think that if you read the same info. I read that you also wouldn't have some concerns.

I am all for the RV and now that I have stirred the pot, I wish you all a nice weekend.

By the way my name is Rick ****** in Oklahoma since you asked.

    I know who you are...and I won't say how I discovered this.

  9. Mr. Chips.......a very fair question for you to ask......just the fact that we are on page 3 of this thread and it hasn't been locked should tell you something......perhaps you should PM Adam and ask him who he is.......you may get a call if you leave a number..........

what is important is what is the value of his information..........I read many news letters and information regarding financial situations.....

Adam...(or whoever he is).......offers sound advice that mirrors many others that I read.........(google Simon Black)

Adam does not sell IQD..........for a fee you can gain valuable information and insight on the workings of the global financial world.........

look at this as an investment in your future..........whether or not there is a revaluation of the IQD..........JMO............

this is not a promotion of Mr. Adam Montana......just my own opinion...........and I might suggest as the father of Hannah...........he might want to reel her in a bit......!!!!!

Sucking up will get you everywhere. :shakehead:

  10. Adam in a 'Chick flick...geee 'Thanks'' GG...this was a guy kind of approach I was goin' for...What happened to his horse...

No, No, No...it wasn't a chick flick. It was gunslinging movie but it was a comedy. It was funny!!!!  It was just so bang on with the whole wild west of the Americans versus the Canadians and their version of it.

In the end he GOT the girl, the one in the picture. Stayed in the small town with her and he kept his horse.  The horse didn't want to leave Canada...

  11. Looks a little like Tahiti.  Its not a Corona so that leaves out much of Mexico and the Central American tourist joints..  If you're looking for the dinar RV on that boat, you won't find it.  If you financed the trip on future gains made off a dinar RV, you're in trouble.

No, No, No....I didn't spend any future Dinar investment winnings for this trip. I live like this all year long...I'll give you a hint...it is Caribbean though. :P

  12. I saw him on TV last night. He's the Montana Kid in the movie "Gunless" an outlaw from the US that came up to the Northwest of Canada. It was filmed in BC (That's British Columbia north of Washington State for those that need a mapP and he was up hiding out. He came into a town with (get this....) no guns. Yes Canadians didn't shoot people much back then. Still don't.

Here is is...oh and his first name was Shawn....That's Shawn Montana...known as the outlaw "Montana Kid'...BTW.. at the end of the move he stayed with the women Jane he fell in love with ....in Canada...

A hardened American gunslinger is repeatedly thwarted in his attempts to mount a showdown in a friendly town in Canada where no one seems to understand or appreciate the brutal code of the American Wild West.

help me out and lead me to the information thread. I don't want to be an "here we go again" but a lot is at stake.

Hold onto your dinar. I don't remember Adam asking anyone for their dinar. ;)
