Iraqi premier to raise Iraqi dinar value
dinarbeleiver replied to HowieC's topic in Iraq & Dinar Related News
Once they have a working oil and gas law they won’t have any choice but to add value to the dinar -
3 - Foreign institutions hoarding the Iraqi currency for several reasons, including the remote investment in the Iraqi dinar in the hope of a rise in its price in the future, or for reasons related to trying to control the local currency in order to pump more currency into the local market, which leads to an increase in inflation, which is a small possibility, but it is possible

Fouad Hussein announces Iraq's exit from Chapter VII

This has been long ride but I can see the end of the tunnel. I remember the articles back 2013 when we thought they had been removed from chapter 7 especially to do with the dinar. More purchasing power -
Biden should resign over this. He is a complete disgrace and has shown just how dangerous and incompetent he is. What’s happening in Afghanistan is making the USA look weak what a mess and total embarrassment

What happened in 2013 was shabibi was the governor of the cbi and Maliki was the corrupt government at that time. Shabs did a good job of keeping the Dinar stable and was pro currency reform. It looked like he was going to enact the RV however Maliki has other ideas. When shabs was out of Iraq I think Switzerland or somewhere Maliki ordered his arrest on bs charges. That’s when the currency reform was halted and then a little while later isis took over Mosul.

I doubt they intend to implement this in July, but something big is looking on the horizon;maybe some very important long overdue laws will get passed and implemented. The zeros articles always seems to come out when they mention the oil and gas law. Fingers crossed they usually move and do stuff in July

Talking about gold- Iraq has avast untapped massive gold mine found outside Baghdad. When they add that to the mix I bet ya the value of the Dinar is far higher and stronger than most of us believe. It was reported that this gold mine is easy to get and they think it’s as big as there oil reserves. Iraq is ducking rich!

Iraq has been under a state of war for quite sometime where it was impossible for them to enact reforms. However now that they are getting more stable with the defeat of isis that have actually been implementing the reforms. They got the budget passed they also got federal law done. Iraq has never moved this fast not since they got out of sanctions. They finally have a stable situation to get the economic wheels going. Once that oil and gas law is passed and enacted things will happen. But seriously there are plenty of ways to make money now rather than spending your time watching the news and getting pissed off about it.
